We booked this room for a weekend, but wound up only staying one night, it was not a good value for us, simply too far off and the host is not ready to have people from outside come to this place. No toilet paper, just a bidet, there was no hot water when we arrived that night but there was in the morning. I liked the neighborhood, looks very authentic, and there's some street shops nearby, but also it's about a 2 block walk from the taxi drop off.

the place is within walking distance from Dipati Ukur, about 10 minutes walking. Follow your GPS and you are all good. Chris (Sendra's boyfriend) sent video about what kind of path that you will went through, and it helped a lot. Sendra greeted me and explained about the place and willing to be bothered if I need something. She is indeed a good host. Bedroom was spacious enough for three people though I only by myself. It has all amenities that you would need. I have to ask first about the hairdryer though. I love to read the books that Sendra has at living room and sitting around the veranda was also good to do. One thing if you called an Uber, some of them would be a little annoying not want to go to narrow 1 car path to get you so you have to walk about 3 minutes to get them. the neighborhood was nice and calm and a lot of food stall and small restaurant everywhere and anytime! anything was in walking distance. Her family are nice also, they were considerate and warm family :) recommended to stay here, it has more value than you paid for

The room is spacious and nice. I think that we got a new room, since the bathroom looks new. Do note that, the walkway to the house is not accessible by car since it is a mini road. Maybe your 'supir' needs to wait on the parking side. The wifi is not really stable all the time. No connection in the room, need to go outside. Simple breakfast of bread together with butter, jam and peanut butter are more than enough.

This lodging is very good. You can have a good quality stay in bandung for a good price. Employees are nice and helpfull and the location is great. The wifi connexion was down most of our stay time it was a bit bothering. Overall i greatly recommend this place !

Booked this place for boyfriend who was visiting the town. Location was great, it's tucked just at the city center! The street is one-way and a bit narrow - only fits one car - so it can be a little problem if you bring your own car. But Chris had managed this in a fun way, he provided us with a creative how-to-get-there video which helped a lot. They also made cute signs to reach the house. We didn't get the chance to meet Chris in person but we did meet Sendra, and both of them were really fun and helpful. The house was nice with a common living room and terrace, also kitchen and shared bathroom. The room was huge and comfy. There was no hot shower in the private bathroom, but we can use the shared bathroom which was nice with hot shower. They provided simple breakfast too. Great value.

LocationNY ideally, would pergi2 easy, big bed room but lacking the table that can make krn yg aja put items available just a small desk which stuck to the walls deket tv and bedside lamps, wc its clean and fairly spacious, there is hot water :) Overall homey and very comfortable, recommended!

This place is small but pretty, very well decorated, and also well equipped. There are small kitchen with complete utensils, bookshelf, towels, extra bed, extra linens, blankets, and even a piano. We booked this place for 5 people, but 2 people joined and we all can sleep well exactly like the sleeping arrangement. Our favorite part is the balcony! In the morning, we love to sit there, staring at the scenic mountain that framed Bandung. Thank you Mbak Upi for this beautiful space and clear communication during our stay :) btw if you decided to stay here, you can check a tiny coffee shop in the corner, just across the apartment building named Biji Kopling. Great place to sip your morning caffeine :D

Upi's place is so beautiful, clean, and homey. Upi provides things for us such as water bottles, towels, shampoo and soap, tissue, sajadah (for moslems is a plus when you stay here), and other basic utilities. She also provides emergency kit (medicine, batteries, lamps, etc.) if there's something unexpected happens.We really love the living room because there are books, piano, television, and DVDs. I give my five star+++ rate because it's beyond my expectations :)

Kak Urfiani was really welcoming from the arrival process until check out, helping and giving us instructions before arriving, plus she was so responsive! I told kak Urfiani that I will be arriving in Bandung by 2-3pm but my friends and I were stuck in Jakarta because it rained heavily and (sadly:( ) flooded so we wait until our car can go through and we ended up reaching Bandung by 11pm. Kak Urfiani has already gave us all the room instruction clearly before we arrive, so we were able to reach the apartment unit safe and sound:) The apartment is well located in the middle of Bandung and is fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. The place is nice, and clean, cozy, with beautiful art decoration (it's definitely as good as it looks in the pictures!) and fully equipped kitchen & bathroom!. It literally has everything you need, TV, books, air conditioning, water heater, and wifi (internet was very fast btw). balcony space and views were great! we also got complimentary bottles of water, which was a blessing because I'm easily dehydrated:"D My friends and I stayed here for two nights but we wish we could've stayed longer:( we actually requested for 5 people and one of them is my friend's brother (11 years old) but we didn't take him because we thought the place wasn't kid friendly enough. We regret our decision so much because the place is super spacious and there're 4 beds (1 queen bed, 3 single beds). absolutely kids friendly! The building felt very secure with 24h receptionist and security (even in the basement), the basement car park was bright, the parking fare were low-priced (compared to Jakarta:D), so we felt very safe to park our car there. there's a convenience store in the building next door which is super handy. The street of the building itself seemed very safe during the day, and within walking distance of the new Dago pavement! certainly look forward to another stay at this special place! i definitely recommend staying here! worth the price! in short: great place, central location, responsive host! just positive vibes! ps: there were nice fresh towels prepared if you forgot to bring your own towel (or if you're just as lazy as my friends and I;);p)

The place was really homey, nicely decorated. The host was friendly, I checked in late, but she's really understand the situation. I traveled with my family, me and my wife was lived nearby the area when we were students, and the view from the unit's balcony bring back all our good memory of Bandung.

The host went beyond by sending The Attic's location on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), to ensure I won't miss (again, well, it is my bad, not due to the location) the side road off Dago street I should take to go to The Attic. A small yet attentive and welcoming gesture I would say. Definitely it feels like home away from home.

I only stayed here for one night but it was really nice. The host was super friendly and it's really nice for the mentioned price. Totally money-valued stay! The room is super clean, the bathroom is clean as well. And it's only 10 minutes with angkot to ITB (which was my destination that time!). Definitely recommend this place to my family!

I didn't even have a hard time finding the place, the landmark is so obvious and the house is quite in the center of the town. I can travel with ease anywhere that I want to go. The house is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. Their private room is so comfortable! I enjoyed my stay as I have total control on it. Everyday they will provide breakfast so you can eat at anytime. Good choice of peanut butter jelly as I love most of them. And also free flow coffee and tea is great! Thanks for having me, I'm definitely bringing my friends there the next time I'm in Bandung.

At Attic we spent the best time ever! Bandung is a great place but with Attic... Something you won't forget. Hosts are amazing, they are those rare kind of people with whom you can talk all day (and night) long. And do know the city well. Yoppie took us to the oldest cafe in town, showed us the oldest and most shabby streets and even helped us in repairing our watch (with Indonesian not tourist prices). One of the best stays ever. If not the best. You guys are fantastic. Never forget.

Had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen and has a washer machine. Walk-able to shops and restaurants nearby. Would suggest to ask the host for directions because it is located behind some other buildings and there are no signs, especially when you use an Uber or a taxi/cab.

Dewi's place is a perfect location for getting around Bandung. Many iconic spots are reachable by walking distance. The room is very nice and cozy. Highly recommended!

Good value! Close to many things. Nice garden view. Would stay again. Only Problem is you have to get someone to buzz you in and out. But if it's not a problem, it is a very nice room.

I will start of by saying that my stay at Dewi's place was positive experience. Dewi provides a really nice apartment and has alot of great housekeepers that are very helpful and pleasant. It's situated in a very convenient area where there are many restaurants, cafés, minimarts, food stalls and clothing stores literally on the your doorstep. The neighbours are friendly and the atmosphere is very good. It was nice sharing thoughts and experiences with other local and foreign people, so feel free to communicate and share things with others as it creates a better atmosphere. If you're an active person, there is a running track around the corner from Dewi's where you can exercise outside without worrying about traffic. Expect a quiet and friendly environment where you can relax and chill out as you wish. I highly recommend Dewi's place and you will not regret choosing to stay here as it's provides anything that you may need.

I was greeted by Chris and Sendra's Dad! They are awesome and friendly people. They showed me around and even gave me a complimentary drink ;) So yeah the room was nice, really cozy and spacious. Really worth it in my opinion. Would love to stay here again!

Unfortunately we met Chris personally, but he was very accessible via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). We spent three nights there, the first night was really terrible. The room was dirty, smelled, the shower was broken, the sink has dropped the pipe and the bathroom was simply keimig and the room just not habitable. The next day we got after our complaint, rather quickly to another room which was better. Apart from this incident, the stay was ok. The breakfast is rather moderate and carelessly: a pack of white toast with a few spreads and sachets instant touch of coffee for himself. The location is very good and you can also rent a scooter. There are fast internet and the boy on the ground is very hard, but unfortunately does not speak English, which makes communication difficult. All in all, the accommodation is good for one night but not invites you to linger.

I stayed at Budi's guesthouse during my trip to Bandung. Budi is very friendly host. He knows a lot about Bandung and even find time to bring me around to see the beauty of the city and the area around it. The room is clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay at his place again.

Budi was just like a local friend. His place is good for the people who come to Bandung for the first time with his perfect plans for exploring Bandung. He picked me up from train station , took me to eat local food and scheduled for all the fantastic spots , I could find that he always engage to provide the best experience for his guest. Bunds welcomed us right away when we checked in. As soon as we booked, he sent us an instant message saying he looked forward in meeting us. The pictures are accurate and his location is prime, with the mall being close. Laundry is right beside his home, everything is very central. When we arrived he was eager to show us around town, and that was something I was hoping for, because I felt the city was too much to manage myself with all the traffic and not able to ride a scooter. Bundi is very caring and cares about his guest experience very much. He strives to make his guest comfortable and treats them with warm and honest. If he doesn't know the answer, he will try to figure it out for you, until the problem is solved. I had a mishap when I first got there, but he took care of everything and made sure we were happy and fix the problem right away. He really does go out of his way and beyond to have a good time in Bundung and see what the city has to offer. He also was eager to introduce his sister and husband next door, and they are super sweet, always laughing and friendly. I really did my time and enjoyed his company and the house. It is a great place to meet other backpackers. You'll get more then you pay here, I'm super pleased with my stay. I would highly recommend you stay here, great bunch of people working and doing what they love, their hobby to support travellers! Thanks Bundi for all that you do for your guests. The place is clean and has good hot water.

I would honestly say this is the best place for backpackers to stay in Bandung. Budi runs this place with his friends and they are all very committed individuals in giving backpackers a wonderful time in Bandung. The prices per night here is among the cheapest, if not, the cheapest around because they're truly not doing it for profit. Food, shopping, transport, convenience stores and all are within walking distance. It's in a quiet neighbourhood too, which is also absolutely safe. On my last day there, my friend and I were late for our train to Jakarta. While we were frantically putting on our shoes. Budi asked me what was wrong. When he found out we were late, he IMMEDIATELY got Adi, his friend who runs the place with him, to grab helmets for us. They were going to send us to the train station, expecting NOTHING in return. It was unbelievable; we made it in time. They were very safe riders too. I owe him for that, really. Budi also keeps his time free for events in Bandung. If you're lucky, you can join him and his friends from all over the world to watch cultural shows, eat good food, learn new things and have a blast. He's the kind of guy who can't bear to see a backpacker or a visitor having a bad time. That's how sincere he is in fostering relationships with people from all over the world and making sure they have a good time in Bandung. All in all, just by having amazing hosts like him and his friends, Adi and Riduan, your experience in that beautiful city will be blessed with nothing but awesomeness.

Ms Ayu place clean, homey, full cooking facilities and the location is very strategic. We were traveling with a baby who greatly helped with the apartment amenities and location. Where to eat were scattered, provided jg some laundry places. If to Bandung again, I would not hesitate to choose where Ms Ayu as a place to stay

Ayu was contactable hence it was easy to communicate with her. One of the rooms was not air conditioned so it would probably be better for those who do not like to sleep in cold weather. There were shops at the foot of the apartment hence made it easy to grab stuff from the minimart or send clothes to laundry.

Everything is almost OK, its location deket with Ciwalk, completeness of equipment like plates, cups and even a pair of scissors. Even given indomie for free :) Rooms are also nice because she newly renovated happens more comfortable and cool. Just lacking in parking fees and water heater. The parking fee was paid for itself. Then, if just existing water heater, it will be OK again. But, overall it's meet expectation.

The place is clean and unique. Its location jga dkat with cihampelas walk. For tmpat minimalist rooms ckup bersinggah d Bandung.

Ayu is a very helpful host. Check in and out were super flexible and we could always reach her if we had any questions! The location close to cihampelas walk was great as well and you can reach everything you need (ATM, restaurants and shops etc.) with a short walk.

Her location is very close to the center of town ... very suitable for family holidays

A good place to stay if you're in a tight budget. Good view as well, with basic but satisfying amenities provided. The host is very understanding and patient. Definitely a go-to place to look into, especially if you have 3+ people looking for a cozy acommodation.

Everything is in accordance with that in the photo. But unfortunately the overall design of the apartment building is less good. If you walk dr highway should go down then Utk into the apartment building had to go downstairs semi-permanent. If the car ride could just get to a basement. Jd if you want to lobby / minimarket have to take the elevator again. Less comfortable. But the rooms are nice apartment appropriate description. The rooms are also clean, fragrant bed linen. But unfortunately there is no fridge for storing food. Overall nice. Thanks.

This place is so cozy like your own home :) Miss susan as the host is also cooperative. She is so adorable and fast response. Absolutely a recommended place to stay during your holiday! I stayed four nights here and enjoyed it as it is quiet and not far at all from the city. Nice walks around too. The fact that the bathroom is not attached is not really a problem since it's just opposite the door of the room and that you are mostly all alone in the house. Nice place to rest and to work

This is a good value place to stay if you want to get away from the traffic and crowds of Bandung. Vivi is a great host, she's very communicative and sensitive to your needs. We had some issues with the first room so we switched to the one upstairs. Definitely for cat lovers!

We really enjoyed living at the place. It was wonderful to go outside in the garden in the morning and get a delicious coffee in the small cafe. Everything was clean and the place was like a small oasis in Bandung, which is a city with a high tempo and a lot of traffic. Ibu Inna was so helpful and helped us with good advice on how to get around and good places to go with our two-year-old son. It is a good place to stay with kids because of the garden and the wonderful help from Ibu Inna. There is shadow and also a place where a small kid can get a bath. Our Ground is a very peaceful and beautiful guesthouse. The location is really great for escaping the heat of the city and walking around the beautiful hills of Bandung. The food coming out of the cafe kitchen always smells tasty and the mango smoothie is the boomb :)

Enjoyed to stay at Ibu Inna's place. Felt like home. Great to chat her with having a cup of coffee she made. 10min by taxi to restaurants on a hill, 20-30min by taxi to Dago depending on traffic.

We stayed at Ms. Lia's apartment for 3 nights and were satisfied with it.. check in and check out was super eazy.. the studio apartment was able to accomodate 5 of Us.. it's balcony facing to east so we can see beautiful sunrises every morning and the night city view was also spectacular.. Ms. Lia also eazy to contact.. Will stay here again someday if we visit Bandung again.. Thanks..

during yesterday's long wikend our family stayed here. enough space for our Air 7 (adults and two children) Reachable location and host, Mr. Ikram very friendly and told us details about what equipment is there, all yanga exactly like in the picture. located in Ciampelas made us do not need to laboriously search for groceries and oleh2 purposes. I really like there is a need for equipment and complete bersih2 in the kitchen so we could cook anything. Our family would definitely stay here again if we vacation in Bandung again ..

Amazing stay at Mas Ikram's place. We stay 3d2n for bussiness trip. Mas Ikram is so nice, he even gave us "pie susu bali" when we left. A good place for family too i guess.
