“A rarity, a fine dining wholly vegetarian restaurant. The owners are lovely and very friendly and the food is so good even hardened meat eaters will be impressed. All the food is prepared on the premises from seasonal produce and presented in a formal manner. I'm salivating as I write this.....its that good”

“A treasure-trove of wonderful things to look at and maybe buy. Great if you're stuck for a special present! Cockermouth has many small independent shops like this - but most of them don't come up on Airbnb's map - like Banks Ironmongers 2 doors down from Percy Gallery which is a wonderful traditional ironmongers that still sells most things 'by the piece'. (It also has a fascinating museum - great for a rainy day!) ”
