Sophia was great from the second I messaged her. She was willing to accommodate 3 of our staff and even made sure they each had their own bed in the gorgeous basement space they stayed in. They really enjoyed their time in Cold Lake thanks to Sophia.

We are very happy with our visit. The suite is great for a long stay, or a short stay. It is equipped with all the necessities, and it is very clean. We loved the location. Sophia's place was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Cold Lake. The place was spotless, very modern and well decorated with every amenity. It is in a suburban area but was super convenient with the highway and Tricity mall nearby. The bed was very comfortable and Sophia accommodated our family of four with extra mattresses for the kids. Would definitely stay again.

What canI say...Douglas is just an ansolutely great person and host! He gave me good advices, catched me from the Busstop... even drove me around here and there! The room I had is nice, clean and very comfy. Sometimes he has the 2 cute, friendly dogs Justice & Oli around. During my 5 days stay I felt welcomed, like being home. Douglas, thank you so much for your hospitality.

The place is very quite and the neighbourhood is safe. Close to shops and restaurants. Price wise we got more than what was worth, Doug offered juice, coffee and cereals as well as toiletries. We would highly recommend it for others to stay here in one of their future trip in Cold Lake.

My wife and I recently spent one night at the Edgewater and were completely blown away by the experience. The property is very impressive and incredibly charming. We stayed in a one bedroom suite facing Cold Lake. The view was amazing. The suite was tastefully decorated, roomy and well equipped for a much longer stay. Our host, Russ Robertson, was fantastic and made sure to provide us with all necessary information to enjoy our time. We will definitely be returning to the Edgewater, but next time for a much longer stay. I would most certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Russ's place is clean and as shown in photos. It's location is ideal, across from the lake and close to many delicious restaurants. We would recommend Russ's place to family and friends.

A perfect place across from the marina, where we were able to launch our boat and spend our days fishing. Russ had ample room to park the boat & trailer. We had the studio suite which was very clean & quiet, the small kitchen & BBQ allowed us to cook some great meals. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden area, it was shady & nice & cool. We spent 5 nights and next year will be planning for longer!

The view of Cold Lake from Edgewater is just stunning with a 1 minute walk to the marina and restaurant. I stayed here while working for Imperial Oil on night shifts during the month of August, 2015. The room was incredibly clean and new and the Robertsons were extremely accommodating. During my stay the temperatures were a bit higher than normal. I received a text from Russ while I was at work asking if I would like an oscillating fan. When I got back to the apartment a brand new remote controlled fan was plugged in and running! I can't say enough about my stay here: 6 out of 5 stars!!!

Excellent condo. CLEAN. By far the cleanest we have ever had. Very spacious and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. We booked this condo online, sight unseen. You’re never sure what you might get, but we couldn't be more pleased. From the very start when we checked in everything was terrific! Wonderful and spacious interiors. The location is also great, close to Cold Lake beach. Extremely reasonably priced. We had a marvelous stay in Cold Lake at this Executive Condo. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommend a stay here. The owner, Kurt is very nice and cooperative.

Kurts condo was just as the pictures show,immaculate and comfortable. Cheaper then any hotel in cold lake with more space for relaxing. I was working in the area and was only able to stay one night but would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the cold lake area again. All the amenities provided were a added bonus and Kurts restaurant suggestion of mamacitas was delicious.

So much better then a hotel! Very clean, up to date, and has all the amenities for family meals away from home. As well very spacious for a condo. Very friendly, great hosts, they answered all our questions (even before booking). Minutes away from the lake one way, and all the shops, grocery stores and restaurants the other way (very close to everything).

I feel so lucky to been able to book our stay here. As a first time visitor to Cold Lake, Kurt and his wife met us on our way into town to lead us straight to the door to avoid any confusion. We were so impressed how close it was to the water front as well as from major grocery and shopping stores. From the moment I first stepped inside the condo, it felt so cozy and like a perfect home away from home. It was immaculately kept and there was no detail that was overlooked. Kurt took the time to check in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. When it came time to leave, Kurt made 'checking out' incredibly easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to stay in Cold Lake!

Kurt was awesome with communication, his wife met us in town and took us to the condo unit; so stress trying to find the place. The unit itself was gorgeous, lots of space and it had everything you could have needed and more! The space was clean, welcoming and close to the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the living area was perfect to relax. 10/10 recommend - way better value than you will ever find at a hotel!

Melanie's home was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Quiet neighbourhood with ample parking. We enjoyed our four nights there and I would strongly recommend.

I can't recommend Melanie enough as a host. She was extremely accommodating and her home is lovely. The space was immaculately clean and comfortable. I very much hope to be able to stay again in the future.

Our stay with Melanie and the family was really wonderful! We had travelled from SK and we were able to make arrangements for a late check-in ... And stayed in communication until we were able to get to their home. Which was so appreciated. We felt very very welcome and the space was so spacious and comfortable. We slept amazingly. We feel fortunate to have met this family and wish all a wonderful year... And perhaps we will meet again!

We absolutely loved staying with Melanie and her family! We had the entire lower floor of her home to ourselves with full access to her kitchen as required. There is a full living area downstairs with TV and sofa. Very relaxing environment. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom, immaculate. Melanie is very kind hearted and her children are the most polite and adorable kids we have ever met. Stella, their puppy, was the most lovable and friendly bundle of fur. We actually felt more like we were visiting family than guests. We highly recommend Melanie's home if you are looking for the best stay in Cold Lake!! We will miss all of you guys ;)

The Edgewater Cottage and Suites did not meet our (URL HIDDEN) FAR EXCEEDED them! The pictures almost don't do the place justice - the two bedroom suite is spacious, the kitchen is amazing, and the view is spectacular. We were absolutely delighted with the small touches that made the place so comfortable and homey. But maybe even better than that, Ketta and Russ are among the friendliest and most welcoming people we've ever met. I would recommend this place to anyone...except my Australian cousins who have threatened to book it for our family reunion three years from now! (I don't want them to scoop my great find.) All in all, we loved our stay in Cold Lake. Only one (URL HIDDEN) should have been longer.

We rented the two bedroom suite overlooking the lake with a covered porch. The space was clean, tidy, stocked with the basic supplies that you need. Russ replied quickly to our initial request and additional questions. A great place to stay for families and close to lots of outdoor and indoor parks. I strongly recommend!!

that's a fantastic staying experience in Huss's house. Very nice kitchen. when we cook food, at the same time, we can enjoy the breathtaking lake view. We really like the place, so we extend one more day. Thanks Russ and Ketta helping us to find some funny activities. Great person.

Beverley was a great and efficient host, and an excellent communicator. She helped us very quickly with anything that we needed! Note that this suite is one unit of 4 in the home shown, with mostly working crews on night-shift living beside and below while we were there. It is set in a cul-de-sac with other similar vacation and crew accommodation. The indoor space is small but effective. The decks are awesome.

White Glove Clean Small towels...would create awkward pass by from showers if I'd had roommates but I didn't. Great comfy mattress with very soft linens. Slept well. Had a broken shower curtain and drain in shower had an issue that was fixed immediately when I brought it up. Very attentive and really wanted to make sure my stay went well. These guys really care but gave me my distance when I asked. Would definitely stay here again.

good place will stay again

Managed by a very gracious and welcoming couple, this was a good place to stay. The accommodations are very clean. The rooms are in a small house used only for rentals -- the owners live close by -- and this suited me perfectly because I could arise and leave early without fear of disturbing anyone. Would be happy to stay here again anytime.

Great value, clean and close to everything yet still a nice quiet neighborhood
