We stayed at the beautiful Jasmin Cottage at Casa Stardust for 2 nights. It was a truly wonderful time we had there. Upon arrival our hosts Agni and Jakob greeted us with a very warm welcome and showed us their beautiful property. The garden is magnificent with cacti and flowers everywhere. Cats and chickens roam the garden freely and there are even turtles sunbathing in the little Zen pond. We really enjoyed our breakfasts and dinner on the Patio. Agni was really the best Airbnb host one could wish for. She provided Tips for Restaurants and activities and cared for our well being. She even prepared something for my birthday. Lovely. The Cottage is a cozy two room house with ensuite bathroom. All the furniture is unique and the decoration is magical and very warm. We used the summer Kitchen right next door and there we found everything from spices to tea and Coffee and all cooking utensils. We definitely recommend casa Stardust with it's unique Charme and wonderful hosts. We loved it!

We had a lovely stay at the Jasmine Cottage - but it was way too short for such an interesting and enchanting place. Agni was a perfect host and we could always reach out to her. We felt very welcome and we‘re definetely coming back! If you‘re looking for a place that is close to nature but also very stylish and artistic, it‘s the right place for you. You shouldn‘t have a problem with cats or chicken - because there are a lot of them! We liked the rooster crowing in the morning and the cats coming to cuddle in the evening on the patio. :) The Cottage is very close to the main house and the other cottage, so if you‘re looking for absolute privacy it‘s maybe not the right thing for you. We always felt comfortable and „private enough“ and loved the fact that we can explore the whole (very huge!!!) property. ;) Love, Love, Love!!!

I cannot thank Agnieszka and Kuba enough for an amazing stay at their beautiful villa! The cottage is stunning- decorated with vintage elements and beautifully crafted furniture, ensuring every detail is perfect (especially the stunning stone bathroom sink!!). The cottage is surrounded with amazing vegetation, indeed making it an enchanted garden! The little chickens and cats have made the stay even more enjoyable. Agnieszka and Kuba have been great hosts, taking care of all our needs and ensuring we have the best stay, by not only recommending places to visit but giving us a taste of the local sparkling wine and their home grown oranges! We will definitely be returning to the magical cottage, as we do miss it already. 100% recommend this cottage. Thank you again for having us! :)

What a gem! Step into a blissful garden of peace. If your a animal lover and plant lover , this place is perfect! Our Hosts - so kind , helpful and friendly . Genuine and full of brightness. Would certainly return. I don’t have children, but I think this is a ideal place for families to stay as well as singles. It’s full of quirky character . Some rustic elements that for me are a charming bonus (such as rooster wake up call and hit and miss phone 3G).

Agni was a wonderful host. Whenever we had a question she was there and even when we missed a spice for cooking which we should have brought she helped us out. The cottage was magnificent and the garden around was a Mediterranean paradise. Thank you so much, Agni, for this wonderful experience. We were absolutely relaxed within a couple of hours after a stressful week at work. We will surely come back!

Agni is a great host! She answered mails very quick, was there when we arrived at her lovely house and made us feel very welcome. The little house is very charming, especially the surrounding garden. The kitchen is a bit small, do not plan to cook extensive meals there - but there are many dining options in lovely restaurants in Olhao.

could stay forever! if you ever have a chance to stay here, take it! I fell in love with the place as soon as I saw the pictures in the ad and the moment we walked through the gate into the garden I felt so happy we chose this cottage. Great place, great hosts!

We enjoyed our stay in Casa Stardust very much and consider it a wonderful retreat. We were looking for a more remote experience out of the city mess and this was the perfect place for our holiday. The homely and full of character decoration, huge space, and wonderful garden were definitely a plus and Veronica — who received us — was very welcoming and easily reachable. We enjoyed the fact that we could easily access the whole property and enjoy all its perks. We hope we can one day come back with friends. Thank you for having us!

We have spent 4 days (3 nights) in this beautiful house and it has been wonderful. We were 4 couples and the house is immaculate, as seen in the photos. The facilities are ideal and allows you to do everything. We did barbecue, we played pin pong, we watched movies, we played board games, ... it has been an unforgettable weekend. I recommend it 100% PD: When you put the location on Google Maps, once you have entered the road, look carefully at the numbers of the houses (do not look at the mobile!) Because you spend the house: P

Great host and beautiful place to stay!

Amazing place to stay, very stylish and modern. Lovely pool and lots of room for many people. We stayed in a group of 11 and it never felt cramped. It is a but far from everything but this means it is very peaceful. Closest Supermarket is about a 7 minute drive. Ubers are everywhere so are perfect for this situation.

Great apartment, fantastic location, couldn't have been happier.

This condo gives you a feeling of coming home, stunning sea views. New bed linen and towels after a week in place. The baby cost itself with both toys for indoors and use. Short walking distance to both grocery stores and nightlife. The best thing is to avoid going home with dirty clothes, as there is a washing machine in the bathroom. Nice people everywhere we have been, which makes us want to come back. Overall, proximity to beach, nice people, quiet and quiet neighborhood. Note, the site closes for serving 3.11.xxxx

Estela’s apartment is perfect and very well located. It was very clean and everything is inside. We had wonderful holidays! You can easily go with a baby (there are a baby chair and a travel bed). Estela is very nice and the communication was easy. We’ll recommend at 100% this apartment!

This was a beautiful place to stay. Quick and affordable Uber to old town, many places to walk -everywhere in Portugal you will find hills and stairs so Uber is essential at times (or driving yourself) Great balcony and view to relax on overlooking pool and ocean. Tip: You will need to purchase coffee for the coffee maker if this is what you will need first thing in the morning.

Rafael is definitely a great host! The house had everything to offer what you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and spices, so you just have to get food in the supermarket around the corner. We slept in the master bedroom, and did not use the guest room. Since the bedroom is facing the garden, we could not hear any noise from the street. It was very quiet and you can relax on the sunlit terrace wonderful! As far as the location is concerned, in a few minutes by car you can be in the center of Albufeira and can reach everything quickly. Rafael was also very helpful, always answered quickly and gave us tips for things to do. Obrigado and see you next time! :-)

We stayed in Rafael‘s apartment for one week. First of all we want to say that the whole stay was just perfect and even better than expected. We also want to say that we didn’t hear any noises from the street outside in front of the house! Also, when we were in the backyard, we didn’t hear much of it. Really, no problem at all:-) More details: Rafael allowed us to check in before the official check in time. Thanks again! When we arrived, the apartment was very clean. Everything was nicely prepared and we felt totally comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, we really liked that! All rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures but the highlight of the apartment is for sure the beautiful backyard! Nice sunbeds, cool lounge areas and such a great little pool! We also used the bicycles two times, they are in a good condition. Rafael came over to say hi on our second day. He showed us a little around and gave us some tips where to go. Really nice and great communication before and during our stay! Thank you:-) The location is great to get around the Algarve! But we definitely recommend a rental car to go to Lagos, Sagres and all the great and popular beaches. Albufeira is a 10 minutes drive away from the apartment, so no problem. Little but really cute beaches are in walking distance from the apartment. We definitely recommend the apartment and we will come back for sure! Thanks again, Rafael! The accommodation of Rafael, is highly recommended. Lovingly furnished, with all the comfort you need. From hair dryer, dishwasher, washing machine, Wellan, TV and so on. The location of the apartment is apart from the busy road ideal for fast to the beach, shopping or drive to Albufeira. However, a car is an advantage although it also has public transport. Rafael has created a beautiful garden that you can enjoy. The photos of Airbnb also correspond to what it is. Rafael is a very friendly and accommodating host. This accommodation is only to be recommended! I would book it again immediately.

It is a beautiful house and a very nice garden with swimming pool. The check in was via a key box and we were happy in the house earlier. Rafael is a very friendly man and wants to help with everything. In the house there was a lot of cooking utensils and there was even coffee, tea, oil, pepper salt, etc. In the garden there is sun all day and around half past five on the swimming pool. The house is approximately 2.5 km from the center and is a great base to view the area. Next time in Albufeira we will certainly be happy to stay with Rafael again!

We have vacationed with our 15 year old children. The accommodation was cozy, sparkling clean, beautiful garden, good facilities (kitchen, washing machine, bath mats and umbrellas), good communication, helpful tips from the host, car required to explore the surroundings ...

The house is wonderful. We spent 6 days there and we would have stayed another 6 more. We really enjoyed the garden and the children were delighted with the pool. The house has everything one could need and Rafael was a very attentive and charming host.

Great place to stay to explore Albufeira. As a family of four (two children under 5) the property was perfect with a wonderful garden space with a plunge pool for cooling down after the beach; well located and close to some amazing beaches; old town, marina and other sights are all within 5-10 minutes drive. Spa supermarket and a fishmongers are walkable (but there is parking if you have a car), and a bigger supermarket (including an Aldi) are within a few minutes drive. Rafael was a really nice guy and helped out with recommendations and local knowledge including must see beaches and restaurants. Good value for money.

I found Vanda so well last year that I came back again this year. This time in another studio, which was at least as beautiful with the same breathtaking view. I found it particularly accommodating from Vanda that I was able to individually coordinate my check-in and check-out times with her, which made things a lot easier for me. Thank you very much dear Vanda, I will definitely come a third time!

Vanda’s place is fantastic, fully equiped with an outstanding view of the Atlantic ocean. We’ve stayed here for three years in a row now and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year.

Really nice place. It's very light and good equipment. We didn't need any bus to see all the city or to the restaurant. Everything is really nearby. Sylvie is really nice and helpful person. She told us a little bit what we can see and do in Faro.

The location of the apartment in the historic old town is really great and a mini market is just around the corner. We would love to come back.

We really enjoyed our short break there! It was super clean and the hostess could not have been better.

The house is perfect for a beach holiday, the sea is just a street away, the host Rui is extremely friendly, the communication was easy and there was a small tour at the airport with lots of tips and information for the stay. The house is perfect for 3 people, it is very nicely decorated and in the kitchen you will find everything you need for a vacation. The mini market and restaurants are also within walking distance. The best way to reach the city of Faro or the airport is by Uber transport, the airport is about 5 minutes away by car, the city of Faro is around 20, a trip to Faro costs around 7-10 euros, otherwise it is a trip for less Money is also possible by bus ☺️ We would come back anytime and recommend the house and the host 100% weiter

Everything is exactly as Rui describes it. The communication before check in is great. He is there waiting for you when you arrive (even though our plane was 2 hours late!). Parking space waiting for you out front. The handover is perfect and the check out is simple and easy. The house is perfect for 4 people, with all the amenities and touches you will ever need. The beach out the front door and the estuary out the back door makes life wonderful! There are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and bars all within easy walking distance. Easy access for older people, as we had my 80 year old mother in law (she probably loved it the most!). Best airbnb experience yet, we will be back.

Superb well decorated maisonette. Barefoot we cross the street to get to the beach. We liked the slightly wild side of the environment.

Small room but very clean and a gorgeous view vom the roof terrace. Very easy check in and check out!

The terrace in front of the room has a stunning view, sundet and sunrise all inclusive, the beach a couple of meters away, the sound if the ocean ... It's a lovely beachside apartment. The room is quite basic and not large, but nicely coloured and clean. There are towels, a shared bathroom with a nice shower, a shared rooftop terrace with some seats and a table and a great view over the island and the beach. There are kitchen facilities, fridge and a microwave but if you want to really cook meals, this is not the place to go. But if you merely look for a place to stay close to the beach and sit in the sun, this is your place. It's a short walk to the bus which also takes you to the airport in 10 minutes and there are nice cafes and restaurants nearby.

We had a great time at Mina’s place! Everything was great. Location was near the beach (please walk down to see the sunset) and everything. On Saturdays they have the most exotic farmers market, please visit. Pingo doce was also close by if you would like something to snack on. Mina also recommended this fish restaurant (Vai e Volta) which was a great experience! All of them were within the walking distance. Mina was fast at responding! Thanks! This is a great small town in southern Portugal for a nice chill experience

A fantastic location right on the beach, you can hear the roar of the surf and smell the salt in the air. João and his team are very dedicated and hospitable - when the power went out in the middle of the night on a Saturday, they were on site within minutes and stayed until the power company had made repairs, communicating with us throughout. The power cut had damaged the refrigerator but when we discovered that the next day, our hosts came right away with a replacement refrigerator. Really outstanding hospitality, we'd love to come back soon.

Very clean. Great location just at Faro Beach. Very good house to stay in. Highly recomended! :) Good conection with the airport and the city centre by bus 16 or by Uber. Also, there are a few restaurant near by.

Perfect location if you come, as we did, for the ocean. The beach, starting literally in your doorstep, is one of the least developed in the Algarve, so you can walk for kilometres on your own westwards, or, take the bikes rented in the fellow hostel operated by Joao and cíycle through the national park in the same direction. The city is a 25 minutes busride, the airport 5 minutes by Uber and 5 euro. Wax, a restaurant in the neighbouring house, is perfect for ambience, kitchen and wine list.

The place is located literally on the beach with a large parking lot right next to the building. This place is on the beach and not in the town of Faro, we loved that. It is a very short drive away. The view from the terrace is wonderful and it is the whole roof of the building so, although it's shared it is big enough and comfortable. There is no actual direct access from the property to the sand area/beach front, you have to go out of the building around a cement fence, however it is literally 7 steps away. There is a spacious kitchen and living/dining area with all that is needed for a pleasant stay. Everything in the place is a bit dated, but all works. The windows have curtains that are smaller than the windows at night, if you like privacy it is a bit uncomfortable. I tried extending them to cover the whole windows but I was only successful in the bedroom by propping the curtain with a chair against the wall. Large fridge and stove. Well equipped kitchen. Clean floors and extra towels . No toiletries ( not a problem for us but just in case you havent packed any FYI). The host is fast and responsive.

Elegant apartment a few minutes walk from the center with three independent rooms. The room I booked had an ensuite bathroom, the kitchen is shared and has everything necessary for preparing meals. Very clean environments and maximum care and communication efficiency to make guests feel at ease.

The room is much better than on the photos. The bed is very comfortable and the view from the balcony is really nice. We didn’t have any problem with check although that we arrived at night (after 11p.m) the location is also good. It take about 20 minutes to the center and 5 minutes to Lidl. The hosts are really friendly and helpful. It was a great time :)

The apartment provided to stay by Carlos and Dulce was very convenient and central. Dulce was responsive to all my queries and made me feel comfortable. Thank you for being such a great host and the apartment was central to city and also to university during my stay. It was a great experience to stay in your Airbnb apartment room.

We tried a lot of places in Faro and all of them were hosted by Carlos (but he was on holiday) and Dulce. The first place we stayed, we learned that they take care of the place and the guests. The apartment is clean, the WiFi is really good, the bed and pillows are really comfy, the towels are huge and communication is easy. This room was a little bit smaller then some of the others, but it was really nice with a balcony facing the sunset at the 5th floor. It also has an attached private bathroom :). I was only missing something to dry the huge towels. This place is not downtown, but you can still walk to most places. You share the apartment with the host and 2 other rooms for guests. Overall very recommended!

Excellent hosts, Carlos and Dulce, good people, the house was very well prepared for a comfortable stay and had all the extras, the house has an ocean view with a terrace and you can see the sunset, the communication with them is super and they are always pending than you might need, they even had patience with us when we had a problem with the card, I would repeat in any of their houses, Super recommended both, Thank you very much.

The room was clean, spacious and bright. I would say a bit impersonal though, it feels cold, same as the apartment. We didn't meet the host as he was travelling for work, we kept in contact with Dulce though who was very quick at responding and very thoughtful. The apartment is not too far from the old town but we had a car so I don't know how it would be with transports. Overall recommended

Beautiful and clean house with very clear check-in instructions. Filipe is a friendly and relaxed host, he was only there as we checked out, but has everything labelled and all possible situations are covered, and if you still have questions he is very easy to get in contact with. Location is perfect, very close to everything, without being on a main road. The place has a fabulous sunny balcony which was amazing to have breakfast on! :)

perfect accommodation for a few days in Faro

Filipe's place is in a dead end street. At first we did not know what to think of the location. But once we were inside the house, we felt at home immediately. The house is beautifully decorated (a combination of old and modern style). Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The top roof terrace is big and lovely. Filipe is a SUPER host and very helpful. He is very quick and easy in his communication. He gave us all the necessary information at the time we needed it. In short : top place, top host!

Filipe's home is lovely. This is our second visit and everything was as spotlessly clean as our first visit. It is a 10/15 min walk from the bus and train stations and a 2 min walk from the old town. The roof terrace is a wonderful place to chill in the morning with coffee or wine in the evening ! Can't wait to return.

Filipe has been the best host we ever had! He gave us a lot of information and recommendations and helped us with organizing the shipment of our bicycles to Portugal. The house is located right in the center of Faro, is well equipped and the rooms are very clean! Absolutely recommendable!

I enjoyed my stay at the apt, use of washing machine was helpful, mini oven great, bath a luxury. My host met me and gave me instructions of use of equipment, helpful information and some tips. Discovering my own ways to get to places by bus was interesting. There are 3 types of bus services I noticed, that stop at the bus stop up the road ( by Vodafone shop) by roundabout and across from the Hospital ............. Circular No.3 small minibus is cheaper at 1.15e to get to Forum Algarve, than regular bus no.18 which is 2.35e... then the bus to MAR Shopping and IKEA in Loule also stops at same bus stop, you don't need to go into town or bus station to catch it, you can pay on bus.

We were very well received by José, his accommodation is very well equipped and you feel at home very quickly… Even if it is a little out of the city center, the apartment is accessible on foot and in a quiet area .

The apartment is very well located in a quiet area, not far from the port and restaurants / bar. A small grocery store is also located right in front of the apartment. The 2 terraces are very pleasant and sunny and everything is in accordance with the photos on AirBnB. Margarete and her husband were very forward looking and gave us useful addresses for our stay. I highly recommend !

A superb little local house, to have a good time in Olhao and its surroundings, it was perfect!

The location of this house is perfect. Olhao is a lovely town. Getting the ferry to the islands is great fun. The food here is amazing we ate out for all our meals and all were excellent and great value for money. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Kitchen is very well stocked and lovely shower. Bed are very comfortable and the air conditioning keep us nice and warm in the evening in January. The hosts are lovely to deal with and communication was very easy. Would recommend staying here to anybody.

We’ve stayed before. We’ll stay again! The property is a great size, has a well stocked kitchen and great outside space. We love Olhão and love Mararetes place. We will return!

The location from the house was perfect, 5min to the markets and the centre of Olhão. We enjoyed it very much, it was sparkling clean, and there were all the things needed to feel just like home. I will recommend Margerete as a host! 😊

A very nice house for a family vacation. Bed, high chair and children's set was present for our daughter. Good location, within a few minutes walk you are on the terrace by the sea. We could park the car near the house.

We visited Ohlao last year and found it an pleasant antidote to more touristy areas. We especially enjoyed wandering the streets of the old fishermens' district, so when Margarete's property came up on Airbnb, it seemed an obvious choice. We weren't prepared for the superb renovation of the "simple" cottage, and the modern facilities! Together with Margarete's warm welcome, the latter made for a very comfortable stay. Margarete and her husband have plans to upgrade the kitchen further. The local area offers shops, cafes, and restaurants to suit all tastes, and all within easy walking distance. Ohlao waterfront is only 5 minutes away with views over the Rio Formosa and islands (regular ferries serve these), the famous Saturday Market, and lovely sunsets. The Quinta do Marim nature reserve is very interesting and offers the chance to spot some rare birds especially during the migration season. The reserve is a half hour walk beyond the fishing harbour. We have no hesitation in recommending Margarete's house, and Ohlao for a short or long stay!

The location is amazing. You have supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. The kitchen is so cool! He has literally everything to cook for an army and everything is so clean. Best place in Faro!

Great stay in this wonderful historic town. Filipe is a really decent human being, making you feel more of a friend that a client. Apartment is spacious, with a bright terrace to relax. 5 minutes walk to the centre of Faro, with a well stocked supermarket just 2 minutes away. Recommended!

Great location. I went in the off season and so the place was priced very reasonably. Clean and good security measures. The only thing that prevented it from being excellent was that there wasn’t a fridge in the room, and originally the common one was having issues, which were fixed quickly by João’s associates. Overall a great experience!

What a great little apartment! Stylish and attractive, and right on the beach! Great rooftop patio. We were in Faro in winter and some places didnt have adequate heat, but this one had a gear exchanger in two rooms, and was really cozy. Great responsive host helps with any questionsvery quickly. We loved it here and hope we can come back.

Isabel is a great host a provides lots of recommendations and makes sure that you're happy throughout your stay. Amazing value for money! the terrace is so lovely for a breakfast or aperitif. Apartment is compact with everything you need. Couldn't recommend it more!

I spent five days in Faro at Wood’s House and would happily stay again. The location was central and accessible on foot to the historic old town and river. Isabel sent me detailed directions from the bus station (10 minutes) and communicated quickly to my questions. The place itself has a well stocked, small kitchen, a small outdoor area overlooking the beautiful church, and a bedroom that is cozy and comfortable. The storks were visible daily with their unique clacking noise. Rio Formosa Wildlife Reserve was lovely - I recommend the inexpensive ferry rather than the guided trips. Faro is regarded as “not a tourist destination” in some guide books - but I loved my stay in this lovely Portuguese town.

Isabel is a really nice host! Although we haven't met her, her parents were very welcoming and were waiting for us when we arrived. They speak French and Portugese and we speak Spanish but we were able to communicate anyway. The apartment is nicely decorated so that you feel at home. It's just right for one or two people, with a great view and at the perfect location, just a short walk to the city centre, nice restaurants , supermarkets and the bus station. The electricity didn't work when we arrived but Isabel and her parents took care of it right away. The apartment is at (I believe) the fourth and there is no lift, so that needs to be kept if you have trouble walking up stairs etc. Due to the height, the view from the balcony is beautiful. We had all the amenities we expected and were provided with many recommendations what to do and see in Faro. We had a really good time!

Wow where do I start? Let me start with the studio itself: This place is SUPER AMAZING! Extremely clean, organised, Very stylish. You can tell that Isabel is a designer. It takes skill to make a place like that look as great as it does. Dont be afraid of the 4 flights of stairs, just take breaks as you climb up....but trust me, when you get to the top and you see the balcony, you know you're in heaven! The place is sooo conveniently located in the city centre. It took me 6 minutes to walk to the centre of Faro! (And trust me, Faro is AMAZING!!). About Isabel: I didnt meet her in person but I know for a fact that she cares about her guests. She sent me many messages giving me all the information I needed before my arrival. Please please read her messages carefully! She also sent many local tips which I was extremely grateful for! She also put lots of love and inspirational items in the house. For me, this was much more than just a studio, it was a place where I felt loved and at home. Thank you Isabel.

A gorgeous gem of a place, so close to main hub of Faro, bus station and harbour. Jumped on no 16 bus from airport to faro bus station and isabels Place just a few minutes walk. Were met by Isabel's mum as agreed who showed us the spotlessly clean apartment, handy shop with everything you need is on the corner of the street.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The space is stylish and super clean. Checkin instructions where very clear. I loved the room it’s got a warehouse feeling and is finished to a high standard. The bed is comfy and the towels and shower both amazing. Plenty of loo roll. Netflix on the telly. Aircon which acts as heating too. It’s just perfect. It’s walking distance from the old town And close to faro market! honestly the place is so great it’s in a nice neighbourhood too. There is fridge space and a Terrance upstairs. The only thing I would say is if your intolerable to noise this isn’t the place for you. It’s clear in the reviews so you should expect it. I was , however the girl above me kept banging on the floor like a psychopath at 8pm in the evening! It’s clear you can hear everything so don’t book if your a joy killer. Also got a message asking me to put my telly down (If It was mine) it wasn’t. There was loud talking and music before 10pm which is the quite hours. But this individual was just not nice. Not the hosts fault. I guess it depends on who your house mates are. I still give this 5 stars, if your a moan and a joy killer and dont want people to breath, the reviews are true you can hear all, book elsewhere. But if you want to stay in a beautiful building with an amazing shower, super comfy bed and stylish space it’s perfect for you.

We felt very good. It was super clean. We stayed one overnight with our baby there and had all we needed.

The room and bathroom were neat and clean and the terrace was beautiful. We worked with Joao's assistant, Tiago, and he was very nice and friendly. He always responded quickly and answered all our questions. We enjoyed our stay here!

The house is very beautiful and well finished, it makes it live more than in the photo. The outdoor pool is cold, but alternatively in the 2nd bathroom there is a fully functional whirlpool tub. The location is excellent, in 5 minutes you can walk to the center. The owners are friendly people and available for any information. The only thing that can be improved is the cleanliness, which left a little to be desired in the bathroom and common areas. For the rest I can only recommend it !!

Mauro's place is simply amazing!! The pictures can't really express how cozy and extremely well designed the place is. It was super organized and clean! The location is just perfect and the welcome gift was a nice surprise. Mauro was always available for us, answering our messages at any time and giving nice restaurants tips. The check in couldn't be easier and the check out was just as fast. We felt at home as soon as we opened the door. It is certainly the best stay at Faro.

Mauro’s place a lovely base from which to explore Faro. It’s a 5 minute walk to the marina, as well as access to several restaurants and bars in the area, while being on a quiet side street. Faro is definitely a place you need to explore before evaluating it on first impressions, and we definitely found Mauro’s house a great place to do it from. The house is very clean, feels very much like a home, and was equipped with everything we needed. There was even a small Christmas tree during our late December visit. Thanks for a great time!

We have had a fantastic weekend. The apartment is as it appears in the photos. Small but cozy The hosts left us with a welcome basket with local products, a detail that we loved. Surely we will repeat something else to Olhao.

The Marmalade House is perfectly situated to enjoy EVERYTHING in Olhão. The restaurants within a 5 minute walk are amazing. Welcome basket to get you started on your Olhão journey was thoughtfully presented. Wine, sardines etc! Lovely touch. Comfy bed,great rain shower and lots of pillows! Balcony was useful but go around the balcony corner, up the stairs to the roof top. Wow! Enjoy your morning coffee while the sun kisses your face. Local market(s) are within minutes of walking. Enjoy this treasure.

The Marmalade House was a perfect stay during our time in Olhao. Located right near the markets and great restaurants - everything we needed was literally minutes away. The home is perfect for a couple and is extremely comfortable.

This place was really great! Super cute and traditional to the area. Very close to the main road with all the restaurants, cafés, markets, water, etc. Keep in mind that if you are driving and looking for the street name, you won't be able to see it, it's much easier to find by foot. It has a great terrace where you can see the town and the sunsets are very pretty and worth seeing. It has a great shower, bed is very comfortable and overall a cozy place to rent. I highly recommend this listing and Dave and Tatiana were great to communicate with. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

This is a perfect place to stay in Faro. I was only here for a few nights, but I definitely plan on going back! You were right on the beach, literally on your door step. The rooftop balcony was a great place to watch the sun set. You were minutes from cafes and restaurants on both sides of you. The airport is so close and an uber only cost about €5 with a tip. Bus into town was about 15 minutes and cost €2.35 each, they don't need exact change either which was handy. We were there off season, but the area was nice and quiet and there wasn't a lot of people around. If you're looking for a relaxing trip, I would highly recommend staying here. It has everything you could need!

A basic but functional space topped by the shared roof terrace to enjoy the sunsets. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed walking the beaches & around the Ria Formosa.
