We had a wonderful time in Gattieres! It is a delightful little village, with a good number of amenities. The flat was very well kept, with a large balcony and beautiful views across the valley to Nice. Olivier is a delightful host! He was always helpful and full of advice, but never imposed.

This apartment is wonderful! I had an excellent stay there. The views are exceptional, and it is in the perfect location for me. It is just far enough outside of Nice to avoid the craziness of the city, but it is close enough to pop into the city when you want to check it out. The bike riding from the apartment was really excellent. Lots of options all over the hills. Olivier was a very kind, accommodating host. I highly recommend staying here!

Olivier's place in Gattieres was a great place to stay. It was easily accessible from Nice (around 20 minutes) by car. The apartment was super clean, comfortable, and had all the things necessary included in it...dishes, towels, iron, hairdryer, etc. You will definitely need to rent a car if you stay there as it is up in a small mountain town near Nice which wouldn't be too convenient to get to with public transportation. The apartment had great views and was a quiet, peaceful, lovely place to stay. Olivier was so nice and helpful. The airline lost my luggage and I arrived on a Sunday so I couldn't go buy new things as the stores were closed. He loaned me soap and shampoo and even brought me some food too. He also helped me make phone calls to the airport to try and track down my luggage. It was so nice of him!(URL HIDDEN)highly recommend this as a great place to stay in the Nice area.

Oliver's apartment was as the photos show. It is an independent apartment under his house and is very private with its own terrace. We enjoyed having our breakfast and an evening drink out on the terrace looking out over the beautiful valley. The kitchen is very well appointed with some basic supplies. The bathroom is newly renovated. It is clean and comfortable. The access is down a narrow and quite steep driveway and tricky to find in the first instance but once found it is fine and no problem. There is a supermarket at the top of the drive which is very well supplied. There were restaraunts in the town but we did not try them as we utilised the kitchen facility. You would need a car for this apartment as it is on the top of a hill and I am not sure there would be public transport available. We found it convenient as a mid point for travel into Nice, to Cannes and Monacco and up the valley into the mountains, through the gorges. There are some delightful old villages to explore as well. It was nice to go back each night to a quiet suburb after a busy day. However if you want to eat out in the city it would probably not be as convenient as it is about 20 or so minutes to get into Nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Oliver was very helpful and friendly.

We arrived at Gattière to 20 hours. Olivier was there most welcome us, outside lights were on. His welcome was warm and friendly .. The next morning we discovered the beautiful view of the Var and Nice. We left around noon after leaving the keys in the mailbox.

One couldn't ask for a better host. Clare was friendly and available while at the same time she allowed you privacy. The apartment is very comfortable and the location is beautiful with views of the Alps and Nice from on high.

Clare is a first class host with a true Airbnb spirit. She is genuinely committed to give her guests a good experience. She has a very warm-hearted attitude towards her guests and was also a greatly valued support for me when I had the misfortune of having my wallet stolen during the stay. But that did not happen in Gattières which is a truly charming and peaceful little village. Right outside Clare's house you get a fantastic view over the valley of Var and the French Alps. One of the beautiful, marked hike routes on the mountains starts in Gattières. Everything in the studio matched the description. It was a lovely place, decorated with a good taste and beautiful colours. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Clare's was a true Bed and Breakfast experience. A finer hostess than Clare you will not find! She is friendly, caring, cheerful and full of knowledge as what to see when you are visiting the French Riviera. Enjoying her scruptious breakfasts on the peaceful street outside our room was a lovely way to start our days. The accomodations were outstanding. So many little extras provided in the beautiful room to make our stay seem like home. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom has a lovely hot shower. Gattieres is a charming village as Clare says on her site. It is beautiful! And, the village is located close to all the places you will want to visit on the French Riviera. Superb stay with Angelica! A very cozy apartment attached to the house with a wonderful view. Hosts that were both available and discreet. At our disposal: coffee, tea, toiletries ... and the children were delighted to be able to play outside in nature. We preferred to look just outside of Nice not to turn to park ... it was good: a few minutes from Nice, it was space, a great view, we were able to park without stressing .. . and very nice hosts. I highly recommend!

Great week spent in the Angelica cottage. Entirely consistent with the description. A warm and attentive welcome, a welcome bouquet waiting for us, and lots of other little touches. The cottage has everything you could find comfort, clarity, perspective, quiet. A small paradise !!!

We stayed only one night and Angelique welcomed us with extreme kindness. The house is cozy, well equipped, clean and with a little space in the garden for the guests delicious. The house is in a residential area of villas surrounded by greenery; the location is perfect: a short distance from the Matisse Chapel in Vence and St. Paul. The highly recommend it.

Angeliques place is as described. It is very near to Nice, but in a quiet neighbourhood which is very good for relaxing. The view in the evening is just astonishing. Appartment is nicely decorated and has everything you would need. Could benefit from AC but during the night was cool enough that it was not a problem. Angelique was very nice and helpful host. I would reccomend staying at her place.

Philippe is a very nice and very welcoming host, it tells you if you want places to visit. The gorgeous Villa, it lacks nothing, perfect to spend holidays of dreams. The pool is geniale, the view is a breath away.

Philippe was very friendly and easy going during reservation and during our stay. He showd us around and provided us with all the information needed to make this stay unforgettable. The garden is very neat and rich in species. The appartment was very clean and tidy. We stayed on the lower floor just right next to the infinity pool with a fantastic and unique view into the valley of Var, with the mediteranean sea and Nice in background towards south. The terrace, the pool and the outdoor BBQ grill is just perfect for an extended breakfast and to hang out on a sunny day. In the night the illumination of the pool and terrace invites to relax and watch the lights of Nice. Gattieres offers a Supermarket, a fantastic bakery, a restaurant and a bar. I would come back anytime, thanks for the excellent stay!

Philippe was a great host throughout the stay. First of all the apartment and the views are incredible! Perfect for an evening with a barbecue or a dinner lit by candlelight. The setting is idyllic. The pool is the highlight of the terrace as it spills over the valley is illuminated at night and heated so you can swim there without (too much) to bite the bullet. The apartment is really well equipped and spacious. And especially Philippe is very caring! They even allowed us to stay enjoy a bit more the pool and the small and peaceful cocoon before returning to the airport. In short, a great weekend and a good meeting. We highly recommend for a getaway in the south!

Both myself and my fiancé loved our stay at Mady's apartment. The place is very spacious, very clean and quiet with fully equipped kitchen and everything you may possibly need available. Everything was as described in the listing and more. Very stylish and nicely decorated. Absolutely excellent location, gorgeous surroundings, peaceful and safe. The host made us feel very comfortable and was happy to accommodate our late arrival and late check out which we really appreciated! The apartment is located in a lovely village La Gaude and the people are so very friendly! It is also only 20min drive from Nice city centre. We did plenty sightseeing and visited Monaco, Cannes, St Tropez, Verdon Gorge and many other fantastic places, all within 1-2 hours driving distance from the apartment. The place would also be great for a small family as it is spacious and we felt very safe there. We had a good rest, lovely holiday and we would highly recommend Mady's place to anyone wanting to come to the South of France as it is indeed an amazing part of the world and certainly worth visiting at least once in a lifetime!

A very luxurious stay for a good price. We stayed 4 people (2 couples) and had good room for sleep and for our belongings. The house felt very safe in the mountain suburb, and the surrounding mountains made a fine view. If you are interested in cycling, it is really awesome. Straight out on the finest cycle roads of the Nice area. There were also several hiking/running tracks not more than a few km away. There were also two supermarkets nearby (1 km in either direction) and we had excellent possibilities for cooking food. We never tried public transportation, but we got around really well with a rental car. Mady took good care of during the whole stay. We arrived late in the evening by plane the first night, but Mady came to meet us at the airport anyway, and she even guided us home to the house.

Mady is an amazing host, caring, attentive and helpful. Her place is really extra ordinary. The apartment is very spacious, as for amenities it has everything you need and more. Le logement est très bien situé, au pieds du Baou, départ de randonnées, à 100 m de tous commerces. Calme. Logement neuf pour la cuisine et le salon/chambre (bonne litrerie). Accueil très agréable :Stéphane nous a accueilli avec les cerises du jardin, le vin de St Jammet, les chips fabriquées à Nice. Il y a du café, du thé pour l'arrivée et même le bouquet de fleurs. Stéphane est présent pour donner des bons conseils de balades, visites, restaurants dans la région. Très bon séjour au pieds du Baou, beau village.

Our time in Saint Jeannet was an experience neither my friend or I will ever forget. Waking up to the delightful views over the township, driving to nearby Tourette's Sur Loup, Grasse, Vence etc (all magical villages) delightful. The perfect host welcomed us to the most beautiful place with a breath-taking view over the surrounding area complete with lemon tree and generous patio with dining table & chairs plus comfortable lounge chairs. The apartment was exactly as shown on the web site - very attractive and comfortable. A short drive to grocery store and bakeries.We couldn't have been more pleased with everything. Spectacular views from the house, with lovely terrace and garden. Cute bottom floor house. The location is half way up a very steep hill between the old part of St. Jeannet above and the newer part below, so you definitely need a car to get around. Marie and Daniel who meet us were sweet and accommodating. It is a great place to base yourself to discover the surrounding areas, close and well communicated with Nice and Antibes and to nearer smaller towns like Vence. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

We spent 4 great days in 'La Desirade' and had a great time! We loved the old village of Saint Jeannet, as it was very charming, but a lot less touristy than other similar villages. We had a great walk up to the baou and nice meals in the restaurants of Saint Jeannet. In our naivety we expected to arrive in a village in a quiet countryside, but as many already know, this part of Provence is densely populated, and you can´t expect full silence when sitting on the veranda. However we quickly got used to the distant sounds of cars and building workand loved our moments on the veranda. The view is trulybeautiful and the garden lovely. The interior of the apartment is basic, but it had everything we needed. We had a late arrival and was met by Antonio at 11 pm who gave us good information about the apartment, and we were allowed a late check out without any problem. Would definitely go back!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of St Jeannet, we stayed 4 beautiful days with my wife and our baby. The pros: - Welcome of the host, which was available to accommodate our scheduling constraints both on arrival and departure - Faithful to the apartment photos and description - Magnificent view - Amidst the beautiful village of St Jeannet - Cozy decor / pleasant - good value for money - Reasonably well equipped (dishwasher, kitchen, internet ...) - Spacious (for a couple) The -: - Was not very clean when we arrived + boiler was not launched (we had to wait for hot water) - Lacking some equipment (microwave + ideally hairdryer and high chair) - Probably hot in summer upstairs (with mezzanine / canopy) - No car access => you have to climb the stairs from the car park (50 meters down) ... in return it is very quiet! Overall we had a great time and it is recommended

A warm welcome from our host Jean- Rene, who kindly gave us a lift in his car down the hill to the local supermarket and back (we with no car, walking the GR51). This was a three-night break in our long walk and we couldn't have chosen a better place. A lovely spacious, comfortable and clean apartment with fantastic views over the Med - we could even see the mountains of Corsica, over 150 km away, one clear morning. And there's a great local walk over La Baoue Jeannet, towering over this stunning hillside village. Highly recommended, both to GR51 walkers and to those taking a more leisurely holiday! This apartment is very pretty. It gives the impression of being cliff edge and offers a splendid view of the coast. The space is well organized and is more inviting than what the photos show. We have not met the host has delegated that to a person. Perfect stay in a picturesque village in the hinterland of Nice.

The apartment is very well located in the picturesque village of Saint Jeannet. The village is quiet and relaxing, mainly walking distance. Free parking spaces are, however, two blocks from the apartment. The apartment is beautifully furnished. From the floor, a bay window offers beautiful views of the coast. We particularly enjoyed the splendid view in the evening at sunset. A set of descriptions of the Nice area and sites to visit is placed prominently in the apartment. Overall, the apartment is much better than what the pictures may suggest. Our stay was perfect!
