I've stayed in many Air BnB's and Temo's is one of the best. Great room with a private bath and cable TV in the room. He allows access to his living room and kitchen and even offered me the chance to use the washer and dryer if I needed it. I enjoyed a wonderful conversation with him for over an hour and his place really feels like a home away from home. I highly recommend staying with Temo.

This is a classic Airbnb stay. The space is not only an architectural gem, it is a just a very comfortable place to be. The view toward the pool is pure Old School Palm Springs, and the view to the side is down onto a beautiful fairway of the Knollwood golf course. The pool house is at a distance from the main house that makes it very private, and the arched eaves allow you to pull the shades and still have lots of light coming in. It's a place that just feels good to hang out in. The Alexanders are thoughful, cool people, and they have added nice little touches around the guest house that made my stay very special. I will definitely be back whenever possible.

Natali was all that I could have imagined for in a host. She had an amazing welcome basket on arrival with a few bits to make it feel like home straight away! The house is perfect and the pool was great for the slightly lazier mornings! Natali was always on hand to answer questions and give delightful food tips, next time I am in LA again it will definately be to come back here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this secluded oasis! Everything is as described in the description and pictures. The experience is so thoughtful, from the multiple appliances (coffee maker, full-size fridge w. water and ice dispenser), media options, ping-pong table, amazing pool, pool floats - the list goes on. The space is bright, clean, spacious, peaceful, and so inviting. The pool is amazing and gets tons of sun. We loved using the gas grill as it was high quality and reliable. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. We had a hard time saying goodbye to this lovely place (and missed it thereafter) as we moved on to downtown hotel that we had booked prior. We can’t wait till back in the area because this will be our first stop. Thank you so much, Alexander family!

This is a very special place. Not sure where to begin. I had booked the guest-house for a business trip, so needless to say, was a bit needier than normal. I needed to cook and have the amenities of a home-away-from-home. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a clean and elegant space, a super nice basket of goodies awaited us, and that was also very nice. The design of the space is cool,more importantly, the calm and peace that the property provides is like no other. I needed to be in crazy Downtown LA-but had a good feeling about this place when I booked, as I needed to concentrate and also rest, so the advantage of being in a quiet residential neighborhood and also have the option of going into town was perfect. The pool was amazing, especially with the night lights, plus all the appliances in the house worked perfectly, some were also very new, so that was a plus. What stood out for me, was that communication with Natali and Brian was stellar-I've done a lot of Airbnb, in many parts of the world and have not had this treatment.They communicated efficiently and made sure we had what we needed as we needed it. Natali and Brian are super nice and very relaxed, wholesome, just very good people. I especially appreciated their love of animals, and their little dog Vivianne, who was very sweet. They also have a very good palette for local eats-so you should try ANY of their recommendations such as, Breadologie bakery, Lola's Baja Tacos (Fish tacos) and Joe's Cafe for an amazing pulled pork sandwich, all within a mile or so from the house, as well as Two Guys from Italy,( take out pizza). For me, my 2-week business trip was a success because I was able to not only work in peace but enjoy the calm, the pool and a stress-free environment with lovely people, nestled in nature and peace. In addition, I cannot fail to mention that during our trip, we were in a major car wreck, and thankfully, Natali and Brian were very good to us and made sure we were OK and comfortable for the duration of our stay. We are super grateful for their care and concern. This is a very special home and a very kind family. By far the best Airbnb experience yet- Thanks, guys!

Lovely place, very tranquil, nice neighbourhood, very comfortable bed. Hosts were very welcoming and hospitable.

Natali's Mid-Century pool house was unbelievably amazing and inspiring! All the little details, such as the various toiletries, stocked refrigerator, and slippers made us feel so welcome. In fact, we felt spoiled! The place itself is immaculate and ultra stylish; we felt like we were on the set of Mad Men!! Love it!!!! The neighborhood is nice and quite--a perfect retreat from the hustle of LA! I highly recommend this gem when staying in the LA area(URL HIDDEN)

Lovely house with a beautiful backyard/pool, where you can spend days working with your tan and relax. Hayk was very kind, and fast with meeting with our demands, like for instance toiletpaper. Very close to different stores and around 40 minutes to Hollywood. Next time we're in LA we'll stay in this house for sure!

This place feels like a steal. Everything was wayyy beyond what I expected. Went with 7 friends to stay for two days for the weekend of my Wedding. We all enjoyed the pool and the bed mattresses. The WHOLE house was nice. Owner was super cool. It even came with extra amenities that wasn't mentioned. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone trying to find a place to stay in the area.

This place was lovely . I was on a family vacation and the house made it 10x better. Hayk has excellent communication. The house is better than the pictures make it. This is really a steal, it's away from Hollywood ,North Hollywood etc but it's close enough to drive and enjoy everything . The house was clean , up to date and gave me a home feeling . I would recommend everyone reading this to buy now before it's booked !!

Our stay at hayk's was one for the books! We took our daughter n kids to LA for her 2nd bday and they absolutely loved it. He had a cabana with a built in grill, a fire pit that was great for making smores (he even included the marshmallows and chocolate!) and a spa/pool that the kids enjoyed the whole weekend! Hayk, was easy to communicate with and was a great host. Check in wasn't until 3 but we arrived earlier than expected and he checked us in at 11 at no additional cost. He even let us check out a couple hours late! He had beverages and other goodies for our stay ! Hayk, we had a great time! We were all so sad to be leaving :\ we'll def be back, granted you gave availability! Thank you!!!

Hayk' house is an incredible place with a great pool and jacchuzi. All commodities are 5 minutes away. Hayk has been really helpful and available went we had some questions or needs. I strongly recommend his place and him as host. Regards Patrick

The Toibox had a great location, great access to the highways/freeways and was a very safe feeling location. No fear about having to park my car on the street. The only big downfall was the wifi. It was extremely spotty, and only worked from the kitchen table. But was not strong enough for my laptop/tablet to connect to. As somebody who works a lot online, and only having a very limited Canadian roaming data plan this was a little frustrating. The bed while very comfy, was extremely squeaky. So having a bed mate who tosses and turns could be problematic for you if you are a light sleeper.

We had a great time at Kim's house! It was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay while visiting Los Angeles. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Kim was super responsive and always answered any questions we had within minutes. We loved that there's a Trader Joe's nearby so we could pick up snacks for the house. There's a lovely lemon tree outside and the house is on a quiet street. We would definitely come back!

A cozy place to unwind and call home for a short stay. Kim was kind and reachable at all hours. A fantastic host. The guest home was clean and well equipped for a single or couple visitors. Thank you!

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to meet Sara because the neighborhood was very nice and in a great location. Even though it was near major freeways, it was quiet and peaceful. It was truly a great place to stay! By far my favorite Airbnb place!! This was not just a private room, this is a studio/guest house! It's decorated beautifully, very clean and the patio is so pretty and peaceful. Included is your very own private bathroom with stand up shower and an A/C unit in studio but since the weather had been great, I didn't have to use it as much as I thought. Also, the guest house includes your private entry way with lock on the fence in the patio area. I never had any problems finding parking right in front of the house every single day. The place also has a larger mini fridge for plenty of space for food, a microwave, a small table with two chairs, great TV with cable and plenty of closet space and of course the full size bed. I absolutely loved the place! Sara and her husband were so nice and accomodating. They made sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this place!!

Staying at Sara's was definitely a positive experience. It was as a previous review mentioned, just like a little guest house. It's actually an attached bedroom with it's own entrance and patio area with seating. My Overall Experience, even with a few hiccups was a solid "B". See below for more details. When I'm on a working or personal trip, my priorities are roughly the same, especially in SoCal. The items most important to me are (1) Bed, (2) Bath, (3) Temperature, and (4) the Overall Experience. The Bed was a "B+". Good quality and I got a comfortable nights sleep. Not Luxury, but very good! The Bath was a "C-/D+". BUT ONLY BECAUSE the water pressure was low for the shower. I mentioned this to Sara and she was going to look into it, since the rest of the house was fine. When this is fixed, I would call the Bath a solid B+; very nice towels! The Temperature was a "B+". The space had a quieter than expected wall AC unit, and a large ceiling fan. When I got back in the evenings, I had left the ceiling fan running, but not the AC (since that's just too expensive and unreasonable while I'm gone). The room was ACTUALLY COOL-ISH which was a shocker given the SoCal heat wave. Once I added the Wall AC, it was quite bearable and comfortable. Even with the Bathroom twist, I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Sara. There was only about 5 minutes when the pressure was so low that I was struggling to finish my shower, but I survived :-). Sara is super nice and I would stay with her again if possible. Thank you Sara for an enjoyable stay!

Sara was reliable and accommodating for my late check-in... This was my first Airbnb and I felt safe and comfortable... This place was very clean and quiet... I appreciate the privacy and cable TV was a plus!! Compared to other Airbnb at the same price...they don't even have TV in their room so I think you will be happy to stay at Sara place

Good location in a nice residential neighborhood. Close to restaurants and groceries. Great value for the location. Easy to get to all major LA attractions, especially Hollywood. Host has been very responsive and answered all inquiries promptly. We gad a great stay.

Marina has been a very pleasant host, precise in the communication and very helpful. The apartment is good, but it had the following issues: weak air conditioning ( it is flowing only through the bathroom, and the overall room's temperature was quite high), weak shower's water pressure and water's temperature (sometimes cold) and some issues with the main door's locking system. For all the rest, it's been a very pleasant solution, and Marina has been always ready to help us and very kind! :)

The host is pretty nice and the room looks good too. Everything you need is in the room already.

We did not meet the host as she was out of the city. The apartment is ok but quite basic. The place is difficult to find and the area is quiet but not too far from amenities such as restaurants and supermarkets. the table is small so if planning to eat in and you are 4 people may be tight. I think for 2 is great value for money. In regards of the amenities, there was a soap but no shampoo or anything else in the bathroom but nice coffee maker and coffee in the morning.

Clean and quiet

Vicky was extremely helpful in assisting me with all of my questions prior to my arrival. The unit itself was clean and looked brand new. Great little neighborhood right across the street from the school and close freeway access. The description given here is very accurate but does not convey enough on the owners of the unit. I would highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Granada Hills. The unit was simple, clean and well equipped, in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to shopping areas and freeway entrance.

Great little place to call home with all it's comforts and necessities you could possibly need. Just when I'd think, ah-ha!...they missing the...filters, let's say. I'd look in the cabinet one more time or in the closet and sure enough, it was there! These ladies thought of every little thing. I will warn those of you who need a lot of room in the bathroom, the shower or like a tub, you may have a bit of a problem. The bathroom and the shower is tight, though we found it doable. All in all I rate this experience a 5 out of 5.

Blaine's house fit the description perfectly! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay and we loved our room and private bathroom. The home is very warm and inviting, and the house is kept very clean. If you are looking for a comfortable home with a relaxing atmosphere then I highly recommend you stay here.

We enjoyed our stay here, it's like a home away from home. It's in a nice neighborhood and peaceful. It was really convenient as we could use the washer/dryer when we needed as well as the kitchen. Checking in and out was very convenient. Meeting "George" the bird was a pleasant experience to our stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place. Had we had more time we would surely have taken advantage of the pool he has. Very close to shopping and eating locations as well as CSUN.

Blaine's house is very easy to get to, close to both 118 and 405 freeway exits, in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It was easy to get to, and the check in, getting in the house and communications were very easy. Blaine texted and called us for checking in and entrance instructions, which were a breeze. The house is very clean and welcoming, the garden and pool are immaculate. Our room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay with Blaine again.

I stayed with Gayle for one night while on a trip from Northern to Southern California. Her house was conveniently located close to major freeways. The house was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Gayle was very hospitable and made me feel quite comfortable in her home. I would stay again if I need accommodations in the area. I came to Gayle for my first week in L.A. I'm an exchange student from Germany and needed some time to look for a room to rent. Gayle's an amazing woman and she helped me with everything. The rental car was expensive, so she told me not to get it and offered me to help me get around. She answered all my questions and helped me with words that I did not know. I felt welcomed and a bit at home immediately. Her home is cozy, the bed in the guestroom very comfortable. There is everything you need in Granada Hills and the area was safe and quiet. I was really sad when I had to leave. I'm very lucky I stayed with her and can recommend her with all my heart!

Gayle is one of those rare hosts you meet where you feel incredibly at home and cared for. I was traveling to see a sick family member and complications arose so I need to find close lodging. Gayle not only accommodated me but offered me advice on finding things close by. If I am in the area, I'll definitely contact her again without hesitation.

Gayle is really a wonderful hostess! She really wants to make sure her guests feel safe and welcomed. I definitely would love to continue booking through her. My stay was to getaway from a household of children yelling, so I was able to enjoy a peaceful day/night. And the bed and pillows was like sleeping on a cloud! This was my first experience using Airbnb so Gayle was able to relate to my nervousness of staying in a strangers home.

Gayle is a lovely host. Her home is in safe community. As soon as you walk thru the door comfort surrounds you. The bed is a dream and the home is very clean and smells wonderful. Her model A classic car is super cool. I would highly recommend staying with Gayle.

I never expected to find a new friend via Airbnb, but I have. Gayle went out of her way to make me feel at home in her home. She even took me shopping for a leather jacket! What a wonderful visit. Gayle was very hospitable, helpful and fun hostess. I especially enjoyed going out to dinner in her Model-T, my first ride in a Model T! We shared a lot of common interests and I really enjoyed getting to know her. A short but great visit and I'd recommend staying with Gayle if you need to be in the valley for any reason. House is in a quiet and very nice neighborhood.

Stayed again, for a longer stay with Gayle....I truly love her warming personality and I love the peace and quiet I have at her home. The bed is super cozy :)
