Andrea was very accommodating as we only gave him short notice of the booking - he communicated excellently throughout the process and even checked how our stay was after the first night. We were in the area to cycle and for that, and access to other amenities in Andermatt, the location is perfect. The apartment was brand new and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils (more than I have in my own home!) and the bathrooms were brand new and very clean. I would throughly recommend booking with Andrea for this apartment.

We had a wonderful three days in Andermatt and this apartment was perfect for our party of 4 (myself and 3 grown sons). Andermatt is a very small town and easy to navigate. This apartment was close to the Gemstock lift, but short walk to the train station and Natschen lift. The apartment had everything we needed to cook meals and the modern bathroom and shower was an extra bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

August 2017 Stay one week in the flat in Andermatt and it was better than expected. The flat is very clean - enough space - lovely balcony - great kitchen with all equipment you need - great place to stay. Everything is as described or better. Communication with Natalie could not be better - every question answered is a short time-frame. Check in without any problems - very good description where you get the key - how to find the flat - what to do with the rubbish - and Wifi works perfectly. The flat is located close to the city of Andermatt - 5 min. to go to the center. Conclusion - everything was perfect.

Nice appartement with big and bright windows and a brand new bathroom, everything very clean. Nathalie was very helpful and answered every question in minutes. She provided a sheet with every informatin we needed. Would come back again.

Natalie was wonderful host. We decided to take our trip at the last minute, and communication was prompt and easy! She made the apartment ready with little notice. The flat was perfect for our family. I especially enjoyed escaping to the patio after the children fell asleep. There is also a wonderful park between the train station and the flat that my children thoroughly enjoyed. I definitely recommend her home!

We really enjoyed our stay in Natalie's appartment. The location was great - being a little out of town it was nice and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was great. Plenty of room for three people. Great information provided on how to collect the key and what to do in Andermatt. Will be back!

We went on a skiing trip to Andermatt and stayed in Natalie's apartment for five nights. It is modern, a good size and has a very well equipped kitchen and was very clean on arrival. The bathroom is really nice! The apartment was always warm and felt homely. It was good having a basement for skis which was easy to access as there is a lift. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony even though it was cold as we we're able to use the blankets provided to wrap up! The Gemstock cable car is about five minutes walk and to get into town takes about ten minutes on foot. The train station is also about ten minutes walk away. Skiing in Andermatt is a different experience to the big resorts of the French Alps. We very much enjoyed it. We would happily stay in the apartment again.

Beautiful centrally located apartment in Andermatt. 5 minutes walk from the station and restaurants, 2 minutes from the supermarket and village bus stop. We stayed for 8 nights over Christmas and had a fantastic time in James' very comfortable and well equipped apartment. Lovely and spacious for two people with everything that you need. It would be great to stay in summer too as the apartment has a huge balcony. Its an easy walk to get to the Gemstock cable car station (around 7 minutes). We really look forward to staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay in James' apartment. The pictures are accurate, but don't do it justice. The apartment felt spacious and bright during the day and cozy at night. The bed was comfortable, shower was great, and kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple meals while there. The location was great--near train, near ski lifts for Gemstock, near coop and bakery--what else would you want?! We even did some laundry and it was very easy too use and quite inexpensive. Everything was clean and just perfect! As a host, James was quite responsive and welcoming. We never met him, but we were in contact via email (we just wanted to let him know we were there and then when we left) and he always responded within a few minutes. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again!

My parents stayed at James appartment for 7 days and they really enjoyed every single day in the appartment, which offers all amenities you need to enjoy your vacation in this beautiful village. The appartment is perfectly equipped (especially the kitchen is fantastic if you love cooking) and the bed is really comfortable. Andermatt is a fantastic place to relax and you will find nice restaurants for any budget. James was always available to help with all needed information. I can highly recommend James appartment for your stay in Andermatt.

The farmhouse is beautiful and cozy. Ian was an excellent host -- he gave us ski tips and even helped us get groceries our first day. There is a ski bus directly to the Gemstock lift that takes 5 minutes each way and picks up 100m from the house. The Gemstock lift has lockers in the basement. The runs are long and challenging w/ excellent off piste. The village is *very* quiet. This house is perfect if you want to ski and spend relaxing evenings with family and friends (as we did), but not a good match if you want lots of night life.

We were a group of 8 and stayed at the Apartment for 3 nights. The Place was perfect for a family trip and we enjoyed the tranquil place in hospental a lot. We really appreciated the 3 bathrooms. The bedrooms and the living room were also very nicely furnitured. Upon arrival there was a Note and a bottle of wine to welcome us, which was a really nice gesture. Ian couldn't meet us upon arrival, but we received a detailed manual and whenever further questions occurred they were answered promptly per Email.In the Apartment above us were a Family with 3 kids, which we just noticed every now and then when they were walking around. Overall we enjoyed our time alot and would recommend this place for a family skiing/winter trip.

Ian's place is amazing - a beautiful old house with a nicely renovated interior design, spacious layout and yet a cosy feel. The place is ideal for skiing in Andermatt, being located only 5 min away from the gondola / main station by car. If you are a group of around 8 people, this is the place you are looking for.

We picked Ian & Ulli's place as we were a large party, 8 adults and 3 kids under 11, and their place offered us enough space. The house itself is fantastic, and a very interesting place to stay. Split over 2 levels. There are 4 large double bedroom and a smaller room with 2 single beds. Everyone had plenty of space and were all comfortable. I counted 3 bathrooms but there might have been more. The living room area and kitchen were large enough to fit all 11 of us. Everything you might need is in the house, including access to the washing machine, so good for long stays. The house itself is immaculate and very clean. There is parking very close to the house itself, but not immediately outside, due to space, although you can easily unload the car outside the front door and then park it just around the corner. The train runs to Andermatt every hour. We also talked the 55 minute walk is around about 40 minutes. We never used the buses but we did see them zipping about. The house is less than 10 minutes walk from the station. We had excellent communication with Ian and Ulli from the moment we booked right up until the day we checked out. Very informative, very helpful and very considerate. This made the stay even better. We can definitely recommend the house. There is a good chance we will be trying to go back again next season. The apartment is big as it is described in the announcement, nice and comfortable. It has all the necessary to spend a relax time in a beautiful place. The apartment was as described. Very spacious, neat & clean. We were only 5 but 7 people can comfortably stay. Frau Ryter is a lovely host. She stayed up late as we arrived a bit late in the night and she calmly explained us all the necessary stuff we needed. Separate bath and toilet helps a lot when a bunch of people have to all get ready at the same time. :-) The view from the inside and outside of the apartment is awesome. You feel you are in Swiss right in the midst of the mountains. Always recommended.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lots of room in the apartment for a big group (there were 6 of us). Clean and well equipped. Very convenient to the train station and a grocery store. 10 minute train ride to Andermatt and incredible skiing.

Very big flat, 6 people could stay there very happily as every room was very spacious. As we were on a cycling trip, so having a washing machine and drying rack (and electric heater to speed up the drying process) was a big bonus. Particularly as the weather was very wet!

Erica and John are very nice couple. The house is placed in valley surrounded by mountains with small waterfalls. We were eating lunches outside in quite neighborhood,on Erica's backyard.We had train 2 min from the house to Lucerne but we drove to the most attractive places with rented car,and we had parking in front of the house. House has fully equipped kitchen, huge living room and comfortable beds.We had wonderful time in this palace.

This was a brand new, well furnished apartment, minutes walking distance from downtown Andermatt. It was truly a wonderful place to stay, with free wifi, an extra large television, a well stocked kitchen with all appliances, and two great bathrooms. Highly recommend!

Daniel is a very caring host. On my arrival, I found in the kitchen some food (Swiss cheese...) and even a bottle of red wine. Nice and warm welcoming. The house is quite big and comfortable, I had a nice stay.

Nice stay; everything was well organised and Daniel was helpful for any issues. Location is great for cycling, as you are better connected by train, than Andermatt, to Flüelen (Klausen Pass), Airolo (Nunfen Pass, Gotthard Pass), Biasca (Lukmanier Pass), Locarno, etc.

My son and daughter stayed in Daniel's home while they were traveling. This is their review. Daniel's flat was just what we were looking for. After being in many cities and hostels it was so nice to get away in this beautiful area and enjoy the comfort of his flat. It was conveniently located and easy to walk to and find from the train station, the town grocery store is just around the block. That flat was spacious and had a nice kitchen. Daniel stopped by on our first night to make sure all was well and he helped me get a load of laundry started which was much needed. He was very accommodating and responded quickly over email, everything was totally hassle free. I would definitely recommend this flat to anyone looking to enjoy the area and have their own space.

I've been lucky enough to take the railway through the Alps to Milan on a number of occasions over the last few years. Every time I do, I see Göschenen from the train and think "that really is the most beautiful town, I must visit". Thanks to Daniel, I now have and can attest that it is every bit as lovely as I expected. This is a gorgeous flat in a pretty 19th century building next to the river gorge and about 200m from the coop supermarket. It's wonderfully quiet but near to the station with frequent trains to Andermatt, Zurich and Basel as well as close to all the public paths and trails that dot the area. We arrived during an unseasonably cold snap in late March (60cm of snow fell the day before we arrived!) and the flat was lovely and cosy. It has parquet floors throughout as well as a very good kitchen, comfortable beds (rare in Switzerland in my experience) and a very nice lounge. Daniel lives upstairs and is both friendly and incredibly helpful, as well as having a great sense of humour. Very, very highly recommended.

Daniel made us feel very welcome and is an excellent host. The apartment is big, quiet, well isolated from cold and hot weather and has all facilities we expected and needed for our trip. We could even use Daniel's garden when he was away. Göschenen is a nice village with beautiful hiking paths. The COOP supermarket is only 1 minute walking distance and has a wide range of products for such a small shop. Göschenen is well connected by train and post bus. There are no large cities in the area, but Locarno and Lugano are only 1.5 hr by train. The closest ATM is in Andermatt, so we recommend bringing some cash and are prepared for taking the post bus to Göscheneralp.

We had a very nice two-weeks stay in the appartment of Daniel. The appartment is big and stylish, conveniently located, and very well furnished. Daniel, Alexandra and Aurelio are very friendly and made us feel at home; they gave us good advice of things to do and were very considerate. Highly recommended.

Silvia was very nice and helpful, and the apartment was great! The view was stunning (as it is in the photo for the listing), and we had all the comforts we needed. It was especially helpful to have access to the washing machine, and we enjoyed using the grill on the balcony. Note that it is one of many apartments in the building (and not an entire home, as one may think the way it is listed in AirBNB searches). Silvia addressed my questions even while away on holiday which was appreciated. I certainly recommend this listing!

Silva was a great host especially helpful when we had to arrive late. The apartment was superb (the pictures don't do it justice) everything you need is supplied in abundance in an exceptionally well organised and highly polished modern apartment. The wifi worked perfectly (great as we were on a working trip) and although not in the centre of Andermatt it is so close it's not a problem at all. Very good value for money considering the prices for other property in this region.

Silvia is a darling. She was there to receive us at her apartment. She was very helpful with every information we required during our stay, specially even at late hours when the way to andermatt was blocked she helped us get around it even at late hours. She is very helpful and a great woman.

Vanaf het eerste contact verliep de communicatie met Silvia prettig en kregen we altijd vlug een antwoord. Bij aankomst was ze aanwezig (ze wonen namelijk niet in de buurt) en gaf ze een rondleiding. Het appartement is (op de badkamer na) ruim van opzet, netjes, voorzien van alles wat we ons konden wensen en de foto's komen overeen met de werkelijkheid. Onder in het appartementencomplex staan in een gemeenschappelijke ruimte een wasmachine en -droger die tegen een kleine vergoeding kunnen worden gebruikt. Ook heb je een eigen parkeerplaats in de garage. De kinderen hebben zich regelmatig vermaakt in het zwembad (ca. 6m x 10m) dat zich in het appartementencomplex bevindt. Kortom, een echte aanrader.

Sehr gepflegte, Familienfreundliche Ferienwohnung mit vielen Spielsachen und Spielen für alt und jung! Die vollausgestatette Wohnung liegt direkt an der Piste Nätschen Gütsch und liegt unweit dem Dorfkern. Vielen Dank für alles wir werden die Woche in guter Erinnerung halten.

Der grüne Heinrich ist ein sehr gemütliches kleines Häuschen in mitten von Andermatt. Es ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir genossen eine wunderbares und entspanntes Wochenende und es fehlte uns an Nichts. Jeder Zeit wieder!

Wir hatten einen sehr angehnehmen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Adelheid. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend eingerichtet, modern und sauber. Adelheid hat alles super organisiert und auch detailiert kommuniziert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Me and a large group of friends stayed in Ferruccio's chalet in Andermatt for a cycling holiday and found it an excellent place to stay. Ferruccio had travelled a long way to meet us and was extremely accommodating, he even left us a hamper of food so that we settled in comfortably. The Chalet was very well kept and had a large amount of space in the basement that was ideal for our bikes. Ferruccio introduced us to a lovely lady who manages the property for him when he is away from Andermatt who was very friendly and helped us a lot with any questions or problems that we had. I would definitely recommend the chalet and will hopefully visit again in the future. The scenery around Andermatt was absolutely stunning, some of the best views in the Alpes in my opinion. If you are cycling in the area I would recommend the Oberalp for a short climb, a loop of the Sustens-Grimsel-Furka passes for a hard but Beautifull loop, and the classic Furka-Nuffen-Gothard (on the cobbles!) for another cracking loop.

We recently stayed in Ferruccio's chalet for a ski trip to Andermatt. We were two families/12 people, all adult-sized. The house is charming and the location is perfect as everything can be done on foot. The living area is spacious, enough for the 12 of us to lounge around in in the evening. We cooked for 12 every night in the kitchen and had no problems - the grocery store is just a few minutes away, and the chalet is next door to a wonderful butcher. The basement has room to store skis and boots, as well as a shower/toilet/sink. The first floor has three bedrooms (for six of us) and a full bathroom. The attic area is very cute - more of a loft area with room for six more people to sleep. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub, toilet, sink. But because it is the attic, the ceilings are very low, and most adult-sized people will be unable to stand up fully. It did work out for our group. Ferruccio was very welcoming, as was Ms. Lilliane who is available in Andermatt to help with any problems. We had a great week and would highly recommend.
