Atmospheric living in old village school in the Taunus

Hohenstein is not a transit point and is very quiet at about 360 m altitude. Nearest EK stores are 3.5 km away. The castle Hohenstein (over 800 years old, 150 m away) offers castle festivals for six weeks in the summer and is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00 for. Three beautiful golf courses are about 25 minutes away. The hiking trails "Rheinsteig", "Burgensteig", "Wispertal" and the "Rheingau-Riesling-Route" can be reached quickly. Guests with bikes get their money's worth, e-bikes would be great.

Holiday home on the edge of the forest "Silberhaus" with sauna

We rent a beautiful, cozy cottage. The cottage is located on the site of the former Maria pit right on the edge of the forest. The Silver House is newly renovated in 2020 and lovingly furnished. Thanks to the high-quality furnishings and some extras such as infrared cabin, wood stove, sauna with outdoor shower, large terrace with a view of the forest and much more, our holiday home is the ideal place for recreation and relaxation.
