The old private house, Yuunagi, is an important traditional building that was built 130 years ago, and is a place where you can enjoy the original landscape of Japan. The surrounding trees and stone walls have also been designated as an Important Traditional Building Preservation District, and Kaga Higaya has a history of charcoal burning that flourished from the Meiji to Showa eras. In this area, red-tiled farmhouses remain, and along with the natural environment, they are protected as a nationally important traditional building preservation district. At the old private house, you can enjoy nature and culture in a quiet environment with a 1000 m² field, and it is available for private use for only one group per day. In the garden, you can take a nature walk, harvest vegetables, and have a campfire, and many traditional crafts such as mud walls, plaster walls, Kutaniyaki, and Yamanaka lacquerware are used.
