“A 12th century Castle remodelled in Victorian times and set in extensive parklands which was the principal seat of the Butler family. Beautiful day out for all the family and includes tea rooms and gift shop. Tickets for the guided tour start at €8 for an adult however you can also enjoy your own self guided tour. If you fancy more exploring it is conveniently located right in the heart of Kilkenny City centre which is rich in history. (30 minutes by car)”
