Our house is close to A1 highway, the west entrance in crowded Bucharest. From here you can drive 15 minutes to the subway and then it is a direct line to the Old City. Or you can drive to the city centre, you will arrive in approximately 30-40 minutes in normal traffic conditions. Our place is quiet and very cosy. We have a big yard and you can enjoy nature. The 2 rooms are on top of each other and there is no door between them so it is fitted for families or close friends.
The two rooms are intimate and somehow separated by the rest of the house. The Shared Kitchen is linking them with the space we usually live in. You can use our kitchen fully. The room on the ground floor has an ensuite bathroom and the room on the first floor has a small toilet without shower. From upstairs you can enjoy the view to the garden and the small wood in the back of the yard.
Our house is full of trees and plants. There is a small wood 200 m away, in the back of the yard and also close by there is a river which passes through the village. It is a relaxing place in which you can get in contact with nature. You can visit a beautyful monastery, called the Samurcasesti Monastery. It was built in 1808 and it is now a place where many nuns live, pray and work daily. We have two bikes available for getting around and visiting the area. There is a supermarket close by which is opened until 23.00 every day. On weekend we can guide you to visit local fairs with food sold by small local producers. If you want to feel real life in the surroundings of Bucharest, then it is the perfect place to stay.
