I stayed for 2 weeks while working in Belconnen. The host's communication was good, the studio flat had cosy radiant heaters, a comfy couch long enough to lie on (so many are not), and very comfortable bed and was situated in a quiet area. The friendly cat was a nice bonus.

Christine was great with communication prior to my stay. On arrival she was welcoming, warm and made sure I was comfortable. As my room was separate to the main house its was easy to have my own privacy and quiet time but I was also welcome in the main house if we felt like being social. These guys are very helpful and easy going. The room itself was very comfortable. The bed was great! Plenty of cupboard space and the desk and little fridge were really handy. I would highly recommend this accomodation.

The room was wonderful - absolutely perfect for me (I'm using it as a studio during the day to write up my PhD, and having a bed to lie on to read, as well as a desk and microwave is perfect). The bathroom and kitchen are in the house a short walk from the studio and in the house is a lovely lounge and dining. The room and the house are spotlessly clean, and Christine is an exceedingly welcome host.

Really nice room. It is separated from the house itself. We had a small refrigerator in the room which was nice. We could use all cooking facilities and bathroom, living room etc. We felt really welcome. The location was good as it was only 15 minutea by car to Canberra.

Christine and her husband are very freindly and generous host. They took me in on very short notice. The room looks like on the pics. It's big, warm, clean, private and the bed is comfortable. I felt very welcome in their home. I defentenetly would stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Christine opened the door and welcomed me with a great smile when I arrived. She was very helpful and showed me all the areas of the house that I needed to know. Room and rest of the house was very clean and spacious. She was kind enough to provide tea. I would definitely recommend her and would stay in her house when I go to Canberra next time.

Great apartment, very clean and tidy and everything you need is supplied. Located walking distance to major shopping centre and lake and easy 10 minute drive to the city.

My family absolutely loved their time at Belconnen. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it due to work commitments, but from the feedback my family gave me, I've very jealous that I couldn't make it. Meg was a gracious host and made the check in process super easy. Meg also provided excellent communication leading up to our stay. A great experience.

The host made us very welcome and the listing was very accurate. The location is very good 5 min walk from a lake and 15 minutes walk from a shopping centre. The apartment came with everything required and included 2 parking spots. It should be noted that one parking spot is really only good for small cars or a very good driver.

Megan was excellent. Very welcoming. She met us and showed us round the apartment. The apartment is very well fitted out. Lovely furniture and very comfortable.

We stayed at the Hakea Garden Apartment for 9 weeks while our home was being renovated. Megan is a wonderful and considerate host - her communication and hospitality is excellent and the apartment is very well appointed in terms of both amenity and location (close to Westfield Belconnen for shopping and to Lake Ginninderra for walking/cycling). We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival and were given a thorough run down on how to make the most of our stay. The apartment itself is a delight throughout - every comfort has been thought of and meticulously provided. It is spacious, immaculately clean and the garden outlook is very serene and pleasant. It is also very private, quiet and has good security. We particularly enjoyed being able to use the outdoor dining area for a BBQ. The kitchen and living area are modern and well appointed. As a family of four we appreciated the clean, fresh linen provided, the super comfortable bed in the master and the excellent laundry facilities (washer, dryer and outdoor clothesline). These, and other, practicalities really make a difference when you are staying for a longer period like we did. Thank you Megan for a memorable stay. We really couldn't recommend the Hakea Garden Apartment and the hosts more highly.

My stay with Hajar was fantastic. I stayed for 2 weeks and she provided everything that I needed. The room was perfect and cozy with a lovely ensuite bathroom. I had access to the kitchen facilities which had everything and was easy to use. Hajar and her family were so welcoming and lovely, I was sad to be leaving them behind. I know I have made lifelong friends and will definitely stay again. If you are after a homey and welcoming place to stay then this is the place for you, I would recommend it to everyone.

Magnificent view!!! Spacious and modern interiors.

Christine was away but she made excellent arrangrments with Revi to welcome us. There was ample room for four adults. We found the flat was an ideal location, with lovely views over a lake. It was opposite a big shapping centre where we could find anything. The only setback was that we could not find the recommended restaurants (no addresses given), so we ate in for the evening meals.

Our host organised someone to be available to show us the apartment when we arrived. That went very smoothly. We were really happy with the place as soon as we walked in. Sometimes photos are deceptive but the apartment was open and spacious. And the view was a real bonus.

Sifat is warm, friendly and welcoming host with a great lake view and comfy apartment to accommodate. The place is located at the heart of Belconnen with very walkable access to everything you need for everyday use. Sifat’s work schedule matched with my plane times so he kindly offered me to pick me up and drop me off at the airport. He was always looking out to make sure I was comfortable and fed! Even going the extra mile when I needed any help. If ever you're in Canberra definitely the best place to stay. I highly recommend for business or travel.

Beautiful apartment! High above Belconnen so it was quite with a beautiful view of the lake! The apartment was very clean and modern. Sifat was extremely helpful! He organised for us to pick the key up at his place of work so we could check in early and always ensured we had everything we needed and were as comfortable as possible. Parking was fantastic as there were plenty of car parks inside the secure parking. 100% will stay again if I return to canberra!

Simon's place is absolutely amazing. It is in such a quiet location, yet very close to local shops for your everyday shopping etc. The house is well equipped with all you need. You will have no issues whatsoever spending winter time. There is an air conditioner, a heater. The most lovely thing is in the bigger bedroom, there are even electric heated mattress! Simon's house is very clean and tidy. The Xbox is the icing on the cake! I highly recommend everyone to book Simon's place next time they are in Canberra.

Modern, clean, well appointed house and perfect for all different travellers. We visited with a couple of small children and it made for a great base. Simon was really helpful and accomodating, even providing us with a portacot and high chair for our baby.

Small but perfectly formed. We used Simon's place as a crash pad for 3 days of Canberra tourism and catching up with friends. We had our 4 year old with us and she was very pleased with her own room, the DVD selection and the friendly cat from next door. Check in was easy, the carport was (as listed) pretty tricky to use but there was plenty of off-street parking. It is a residential area with some small local shops and it is an easy drive to anything you might want to see. The main bedroom bed was very firm which made my husband happy but was bit hard for my preference. Overall very happy and would stay again. Thank you Simon :-)

Although out in a suburb, the property is very good value situated in a quiet area, walking distance to public transport and shops. Noting that with a car driving in Canberra is a dream , compared to other capital cities!

Aleksandar was a great host- very flexible when I had to keep altering my check-in time on the day of arrival. The place is extremely well-equipped / thoughtfully equipped, with everything you could possibly need. The apartment was immaculately clean, with large windows offering lots of light, bed very comfortable and a great couch to relax on. Short walk to fabulous Belconnen food market. Travel in confidence and calmness with these hosts! Alex was very responsive and thoughtful in all communications and meetings. We were very close to the shops and lake, as well as public transport. Great cafes nearby too. Highly recommend this destination.

The unit was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Bed and pillows were great. Plenty of towels and a washing machine as well. We checked out and got a call about half an hour later to say we'd forgotten some things in the wardrobe. Aleksandar was very helpful and we were able to go back and pick up our things. He really was a very accommodating host. We'd be happy to stay here again!

The apartment is near new and is very clean and tidy, great bathroom, kitchen and aircon etc. close proxiimt to the lake which makes for a good walk or running track. multiple food/drinks locations on the lakeside and a Westfield on the other makes it close to virtually everything! Lovely apartment with beautiful views of the lake in a great location next to buses and the most amazing Westfield. Unfortunately the fridge was ready for retirement so don't stay here if you are planning on buying your own food. The air con also was not working properly.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment is very new. It is in a good location with great parking facilities and an excellent view of Lake Ginninderra from the lounge/dining room. It is very close to the Belconnen Mall making access to shops very easy. The apartment is about 15 minutes from the centre of Canberra but with an excellent road system, access to anywhere in the ACT is good.

This apartment was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. We were just one couple but the apartment could easily accommodate two couples or a couple with children. From the lounge area and balcony, there is a nice view to a lake and the hills beyond. There are nice walking tracks around the lake with a lot of birdlife. The Wi-Fi and TV were very good. I enjoyed a swim in the outdoor heated lap pool too. We saw a movie at Hoyts which is just opposite and did some shopping in Westfield (also opposite). There is a fish market close by. All the galleries and sights are an easy 10-15 min drive away. We can highly recommend this apartment.

Great location, convenient to Westfield Belconnen, walking about 5 minutes. The apartment is very quiet with no traffic noise. I found the bed very hard and the couch is very low.

This is a must stay apartment if you are ever in Canberra. Take in the beautiful views in a very quiet and in a really convenient location with everything you need at your doorstep. Will be recommending this place to all our friends. Darrell is an excellent host who was always available.

The five of us had a lovely stay in Canberra. The townhouse situated in an estate in a suburb about 10k from the city centre suited us as we had 2 cars to get around. The townhouse itself is quite spacious with a very generous main bedroom and ensuite and two smaller double bedrooms. The dining and living room were comfortable for 5 people but the kitchen was a little snug and required some updating particularly in regard to the cooking utensils. The outdoor area looked lovely but it was too cold to fully appreciate this time of year. The host was very attentive to supplies even stocking the freezer with croissants.

Sarah was an awesome host, she went beyond our expectations. The house was very well presented and she had even set up a cot for our little baby. The house was very cosy and our family had a great stay. If coming to Canberra again we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Sarah's place was spacious and well provisioned. The courtyard adds a very peaceful outside living space. Bruce is a suburb very close to the city.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah's place. It was calm, airy, spacious and very welcoming! We felt at home! Upon our arrival, there was fresh sourdough bread, breakfast and tea supplies, and extra food supplies. And as it was Christmas time, there was even a Christmas tree for us!

Sarah's house was great for our weekend away with 4 adults and 2 kids. Sarah had the house setup perfectly to our needs such as having toys out ready for the kids and the extra touches such as the fresh bread, coffee pods and chocolates were very much appreciated! Sarah's place was very clean, warm, bright and had plenty of room for all of us. I would highly recommend Sarah's place and if we ever do another trip to Canberra with the same group, I know where I will be checking for availability first!

Great townhouse with great facilities in a generally quiet area. A relaxing place to stay. Sarah made it easy with her instructions. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay again - highly recommended! A large mall with supermarkets is not too far away. Can catch buses nearby to get around Canberra, but recommend you have a car.
