Great and easy play to stay

Nannette and her husband were both very friendly and accommodating during our stay. She was kind enough to make us a yummy breakfast each day. It was the perfect stop during our quick trip to Baltimore.

Nannette responded to my inquiry about her place right away and was great about communication from the very beginning to the end. I felt instantly comfortable about the idea of staying at her place and I was right about my instinct! Her place was homey and had everything we needed and more. The living room was a little smaller and less bright than I had imagined. But it was okay because we didn't end up using the room anyway. Our DVD player didn't end up working but Nannette was very responsive and helpful in that she brought a DVD player from a separate room and plugged it in for us, making sure everything was rolling well before she left us to it. It was so worth the effort because the movie of hers that we watched was the best way to end the night. She set the atmosphere of breakfast up really well and thoughtfully with some nice soothing background music. The breakfast was a little less elaborate than we had expected and I was hoping everything would have been made the day of. But it was still the next best thing of her preparing the day before. We look forward to staying at Nannette's in the future and would recommend anybody to stay at her place!!!

Nannette and Ken were wonderful hosts & very accommodating. I screwed up the reservation made it for the next day. But Nannette didn't miss a beat, she made us feel like it wasn't a problem at all and greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. . Their home is so warm and very comfortable, having all the beautiful letters that there previous guests have written was such a beautiful touch, the home is so clean and the bed was so so comfortable and the sheets, were so soft and pillows was just right, we got a wonderful night sleep...we left very early, thinking we were leaving before they were awake, we didn't want to disturb them when we left but Nannette meet us at the door with a baggie fill of love ready with fresh fruit and granola bars. Which we so enjoyed on airplane ride home. The location of their home is in the lovely neighborhood and only 10 minutes away from the Baltimore international airport it was a win-win situation.

Nannette kindly picked us up at the bus stop in Baltimore, dropped us off for dinner, and offered to pick us up after dinner. The house is clean and has all the necessary amenities and more. Nannette cooks the best breakfast and bakes delicious pecan tassies! This is the best airbnb host and house we have ever been in!

Finding Nannette and Kenneth on airbnb was a godsend. I will stay here whenever I am working in the area as long as there place is available. the banana nut muffins Nannette made from scratch are to die for. Thanks again for being the hostesses with great conversation, food and a home away from home.

This was a very convenient location and a very private room and bath. Very nicely decorated! Loved the unique items in the room! Definitely more like staying in a hotel. Never met Emily & Matt, but having a private entrance was great! Very nice shower!

Emily made us feel right at home and welcomed. She even provided us with snacks! Wow!!! The Best Hostess so far….will definitely stay again when we're in town. The room was clean, shower amazing and better than an hotel room.

My mother and I were fatigued and arrived late in the night or very early in the morning, and we had four heavy suitcases with us. The moment we stepped into the accommodation, we were treated to a delight. Not only were the hosts ever so kind to help us with our bags and settle in comfortably, the room itself was simply exquisite! The hosts had even left us tasty snacks on the table to feast our hungry selves on! We were given clear instructions that made our checking in of the utmost convenience and the room in particular has its own private entrance. With incredibly fast WiFi, Netflix on the television, the presence of a Microwave and a mini-fridge, comfort in every nook and cranny, and warm refreshing showers with body jets, staying in the room was a pleasure in and of itself! But that is not just what the room simply had to offer. The moment my mother and I had stepped into the room, we were simply left without words, words that I wish I could find to fill this review. This accommodation is simply marvelous. The room had a story to tell and it had done so incredibly tastefully. Although, we had stayed for only a day, I recall the accommodation with fond memory. My mother, an architect, had personally like the little touches that adorned the room, giving its occupants a slight glimpse into the hosts' lives. The room at once felt like home, unlike most of the rooms left out to lease. The hosts had also created a handbook, of sorts, for guests to refer to. This was a sheer life-saver as it had contained everything a guest could ask for: WiFi access and the password, instructions on how to use Netflix on the Television and the Shower with the Body Jets, and most importantly, the nearest restaurants (with information on which ones deliver!) and other accessibility. I urge anyone booking the accommodation to read this handbook and be amazed at the effective effort put into the wealth of information in those few sheets. How about when you decide to leave the room, however? A huge strength of this accommodation is its distance to the BWI Airport. We had initially booked the place due its proximity to the Airport we were leaving from. But a step inside, and we found ourselves right at home. There are also a full grocery store, pharmacy, and an ATM all nearby! To conclude, I strongly recommend, urge even, for anyone to book this accommodation! To reiterate the satisfaction we derived from the room, my mother and I actually considered trying to extend our stay anyway just to spend more time in the room! The photos simply do not do justice to the warmth and comfort offered by the room! With its low price and the amount of quality this accommodation offers, this stay is a no-brainer: Go for it! The best place to stay for the money in the area

Very nice space to stay in. Perfect place to stay in Baltimore. Beautiful quiet neighborhood and the room itself is extremely comfortable and pleasant. In fact, the bed was so comfortable I completely slept in the next morning past my alarm. Ha ha. Great hosts, great room, great everything. Thanks for a great stay!! :)

This was very clean and quaint basement room. Everything we needed for a 6:45am international flight the next morning. From the door to the TSA line, it took us 25min. We even parked in long term parking and took the shuttle. Will definitely use again for an early morning flight to the cost of the room!

Emily's place is super cozy, stylish, clean and quiet. Everything is very convenient, for example, entering the room with a code is convenient, and being able to do laundry. The crab cake from the restaurant G&M that Emily recommends is pretty good.

Diana was such a great host. She made sure I was fully settled by the time I checked in. She even picked me up and dropped me off at the closest light rail station, so getting to and from the central area of Baltimore was really easy and convenient. The place is super clean and comfortable. Diana even provided cereal bars, fruits, coffee and tea for breakfast or for a grab-and-go situation. Communication was fast and easy. I would highly recommend Diana's place to anyone looking for affordability, comfort and practicalness.

Very affordable place to stay within 15 minutes of the airport. Nicely renovated home and Host was very communicative the throughout the process.

Everything was going good until the end. Miscommunication, we ended up getting locked out of our room and had to call 911. Come to find out the whole time we were yelling around the house trying to get someone to help us, the man was in the basement the whole time. It wasn't even the man who I booked with LOL. It was another man! To be honest, we were HARDLY in the home but I mean overall we enjoyed our stay. We basically had the house to ourselves.

Basic bedroom that had comfy pillows and good wifi.

This was the way it should be: very professional.

The home is spacious and comfortable. I travelled with a group of 14 students and with a few air mattresses everybody was perfectly fine. Kate was readily available to assist when I had a question.

This property was fantastic, particularly for our needs. We had a family event in DC and it is near impossible to find suitable lodging that we can afford with our large family (8 of us!). The location was ideal for us - the ride to DC was actually shorter than we had planned. Unfortunately for us, we needed to have our car with us in the city, but the train is just a couple blocks away - was a shame we couldn't have taken advantage of that. The house is comfortable and spacious with lots of options/rooms/beds for sleeping so is great for a large group. It's a great option for those visiting the DC/Baltimore area as there is so much to do and Glen Burnie, while not the most exciting place on it's own, is so close to so many possibilities. We will definitely be returning again in the future!

A international colleague and I had a medical research conference to attend at Baltimore Convention Center. We looked at hotels and AirBnB and settled on Kate's place. It is a medium sized residential house about 15 miles from downtown Baltimore. It is about 5 blocks the Maryland Light Rail Train System, which was great since we took the Light Rail to the conference every day for $4 for an all-day pass each day. And if we were out at night in Baltimore, we took Uber back to Kate's place (~$16) since we were unsure of the safety on the Light Rail at night time (i.e., some travelers on the Light Rail looked like homeless people). Kate's place was perfect for us as we had a nice home to stay at and a close public transportation system to get to the conference. Thus, we never required a rental car or parking near the BCC, which costs about $20/day. Kate's place had 3 upstairs bed rooms, 1 bathroom, 1 complete kitchen, then the downstairs has 2 more bedroooms, a kitchenette, a another bathroom, and a laundry room. In essence, Kate's place was good for 2 business travelers, but is ever better for those with 5 or more in their business parties since 5 bedrooms and I counted 6 beds is more than adequate space for these larger parties.

Kate was great with communication. The location worked out well with our location needs. Looking to book again in the future.

My stay in the apartment was very good; I had no regrets at all. The bed was comfortable and clean; the bathroom was clean too and had enough supplies; getting to the apartment and checking in was hassle free (her responses to calls and messages were prompt) and she and her husband were welcoming.

Good space for one person. Might be a little on the small side for a couple if staying more than a few days. Bed is good and firm; the bathroom is fine; I have no complaints about the amenities. BWI is very, very close (but never heard an airplane) and Baltimore is quick and easy to reach (as is Fort Meade), but points further south are a bit of a headache thanks to heavy traffic during commute hours (which should be expected). Hosts keep to themselves (as I did) and are quiet, but the dog makes a racket from time to time (same as any dog).

I had a very nice time staying with them. The room was very clean and quiet and it had its own private bathroom in the room. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. The bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet.

Mark and Corina were welcoming, helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. This was a great place for a long-term stay (esp for a student). The desk and chair are great for studying and the bed is AMAZING! The kitchen is well-equipped and you don't need to bring anything! The place is tidy and the home feels just as yours as it does theirs. There is easy access to a library (one light rail stop away). The house is clean and the room as well as bathroom are spotless. The living room downstairs is mostly yours. The interaction with the hosts is totally up to you. I had days where I would be studying and not see them but they were great about me hanging out in the living room/kitchen for great company. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and clean location!

I had a great visit. Everything was as advertised. The house was clean and the basement room with private bath was comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and very convenient to the rail system. I'd be happy to stay again.

Mark was very accommodating to our strange times, and was incredibly hospitable throughout our weekend. Everything was very clean and neat. We had no problems at all. Perfect place to sleep and shower between exploring the city and driving down to DC.

I stayed at Donny's house for over a month, and the experience was great! Donny was very welcoming and prompt with communication. The house was beautifully decorated and the rooms I stayed in were very comfortable! The room had everything I needed and more. I felt like I was at home. Thank you, Donny, for being a great host! Great place to stay

Pros: Communication was efficient, the host seemed nice and the overall space was clean. The iron provided was top notch. The neighborhood was nice and we were close to the highway and convenient stores Cons: This is not an entire apartment/home. Its a basement with a private entrance. There are no kitchen/cook facilities to refrigerate food, microwave or cook food. The only water is from the bathroom sink. There is no way to control the temperature. The a/c was on and it was freezing in this basement. The host has to shut off the ac to the entire house to remedy this. The bed is a fold out futon sort of thing with a stone stiff mattress. The pillows provided were very flat and sub par. Our necks and backs really took a beating sleeping on it. That's no exaggeration. If you have neck or back issues beware. There is no full length mirror or any way to see yourself after you dress. There is only a mirror in the bathroom that will allow you to view to your waist. This is very inconvenient when you have 2 people trying to get ready at the same time. The shower has mildew that could be remedied with a good caulking. The shower drain floats when the water is on. We purchased shower shoes. There were tiny ants and a larger bug in the bathroom as well. The television is small and has lines in the picture. This is a basement without windows. When the lights are out it's pitch black. We used our cell phones as flashlights to go to the restroom in the middle of the night. Lastly, there is a lot of noise when they move around upstairs. It woke me up and prevented me from sleeping 2 mornings in a row I think we gambled and lost this time

Keisha is very nice and helpful. Her house is neat and sweet, feels like home. The AC in the house is fantastic. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, a really nice place to stay with friends and family.

this house was oversold online to sound way better than it was fr $550 a night with taxes. host wouldnt let me switch the reservation a few days before to be 2 nights instead of 3 and didnt get back to me the night before. there was also a no refund policy on the page before i booked it and spoke with the host before hand. definately not worth the money. least we could of had was extra toiletries and eggs and milk that werent bad in the fridge. there was nothing to eat in the house, if i were you i would spend $300 a night in one of the nicest hotels in baltimore.

Caressa was a wonderful host with a neat and well kept property. I was coming in late at night, but she was exceptionally accommodative of my arrival and still managed to greet me at the door and give me a quick tour. The room I rented had a comfortable bed, large closet, and provided a towel & toiletries for my use. I absolutely recommend staying here, and would do so again!

Caressa has been a very kind, friendly, and flexible hostess. This is actually a "return" for me--I stayed at Caressa's in this room back in October too. When I had to extend this stay around New Year's because of a cold/flu that lasted a week, she was just terrific about it, and very helpful. The room is just as pictured, pretty and cozy. Towels and sheets are really plentiful. The kitchen has to be the cutest at any Airbnb, full of fun artsy details. The neighborhood is quiet and parking is close to the house. The talkative cat Astro and the turtles and gecko are extra plusses. And the drive to the inner Harbor was incredibly easy and convenient. Other housemates are nice too. Great value.

Caressa is a wonderful host!! Her home is set up beautifully as a bed and breakfast, and I felt completely at ease from the time I booked through checkout. The room was cozy and included what I needed, same with the bathroom (great water pressure in the shower!!), and everything was very clean and tidy. Her house rules are clear and simple, and I enjoyed my stay (was house hunting as I'm moving here, and will recommend her any time friends come to town), and her cat is adorable.

Donald's place was great and check-in and check-out was easy. The space is great with 3 bedrooms and a living room with plenty of space, not to mention a great back porch. I had several friends come into town for my an event and this space was perfect for us. Quick 15 minute ride to both BWI and Baltimore. Donald was very quick to respond to any questions I had and the entire process was a breeze. If you have a good amount of people coming to visit you in the Baltimore area I'd highly recommend this space for its convenience and comfort.

The house is located in a residential area in Baltimore. It is close to local restaurants and a Walmart. The house as it is pictured is pretty accurate with the exception of the dust and dirt that is in the bathroom and bedrooms. My husband and I are have used AirBnB many times but this has been the first time that we have encountered a problem such as this. I got so sick from the state of the house that I broke out in hives and had to be rushed to the nearest urgent center. Unfortunately, we had no other choice but to stay on the property and make the best of it. We had already paid for the stay and could not afford to go to a hotel with four of our family members in tow. I should have contacted the owner to let him know the state of the house. At this point, if we would have done so, we would have had to leave. The house needs to be COMPLETELY CLEANED and sanitized. It is unfortunate, since the house has plenty of potential, ONCE IT IS CLEANED.

This house is definitely worth the money if you are staying with a large group. All the things you need - bedding, towels - are provided. It's listed as a 1br, but it's actually 2br + an attic area that has an extra bedroom and living area. Donald, the host, was great - easy to get ahold of with any questions. The house is near the MARC train which runs between DC and Baltimore, and it's very close to BWI. The only down-side is that there is not much to do in the immediate area, but it's only a $12 uber ride to downtown Baltimore! Overall it was a great experience and I'd recommend it!
