We have created a haven on the ground floor of our home with separate front entry. You have your own living/dining, kitchenette and bathroom, 2 bedrooms and fold-out sofa. You are free to share our beautiful pool, outdoor areas and laundry. - 13ks from the CBD - 5mins walk to coffee shops & eateries - 3 mins drive to the Esplanade, wading pool & shopping centre - 10 mins walk to Manly train station PLEASE NOTE: Our property IS NOT suitable for children under 5 yrs of age
We moved into this home in April 2018. We built the kitchenette new for our guests. We have a beautiful pool and entertaining area which you are welcome to use and we have lovely neighbours.
We live in a quiet street and have friendly neighbors. There is a Newsagent, Bakery, Coffee Shop, cafes, eateries and Service Station within 700 metres and a Spar Express supermarket 1.1km from our place. Shopping Centres, Restaurants and the Esplanade are all 10-15 mins walk or 3-5 mins drive.
  • This space is homely and exactly as described in the brief. It is close the esplanade and facilities that are required when travelling. I would certainly recommend this place for short stays.

    My place is a lovely private flat and is detached from the main house. There is public transport to the city at the end of the street. The airport is approx. 15 mins drive, 30 mins to the city, 8 mins to the Sleeman Sports Centre, and the Wynnum/Manly Esplanade is only 7 mins away. You’ll love my place because of the private, convenient location and the quiet, leafy neighbourhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Off street parking is available.
    This is a lovely private one bedroom flat with a large bedroom and renovated kitchen. You will also have shared access to the large salt water swimming pool. The large bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and a reading chair. There is a built in wardrobe for your convenience. The kitchen is newly renovated. It has a dishwasher, microwave and hot plates. The flat is equipped with a TV and a selection of DVD's, an iPod dock, WiFi and a comfortable sofa. Tea, coffee machine, coffee pods and milk is provided.
    This is a quiet suburban neighbourhood. It is close to the beautiful Manly harbour and the esplanade where there is an array of coffee shops, restaurants and cafes. Manly village is a 7 minute drive away. Just two minutes down the road is Mayfair shopping centre which has a Woolworths supermarket and smaller specialty shops such as a bakery, chemist and coffee shop. There are also pizza and Thai dine-in and take away restaurants within that complex. The domestic and international airports are a 20 min drive, the city is a 30 min drive and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts are only an hour away.
  • Twenty minutes, is all it will take from Brisbane Airport to arrive at Claudia's stylish , great value flat. Hidden away at the rear of her property, amongst a cover of tropical plants and trees, Claudia's place offers every facility and convenience a traveller could want, at a very reasonable tariff. Every effort has been made to make your stay comfortable by our host and it shows. A full kitchen, air-conditioning, tv, video, books, and movies are at hand. The flat is tastefully furnished, and art-work adorns the walls. "Mrs C" and i both suffer from bad backs, no problem here, a high quality ensemble, together with crisp sheets and bedding gave us a great nights rest. At your front door-step is a lovely outdoor patio with table and chairs, perfect for a quiet afternoon wine, whilst contemplating a swim in the cavernous pool adjacent. Claudia is the perfect host, a pleasure to have met, she has created a great place to stay, handy to most places, both North and South of this bustling metropolis. Highly recommended.

  • We really enjoyed our 2 week stay at Claudia's place. It was nice to be out of the city but to also have easy access to the train on days we wanted to go in. There were also shops and restaurants close by. The pool and the air conditioning were a blessing to have on such warm days . Claudia was a great host and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Claudia's place.

    Our Airbnb is a fully self-contained apartment joined to our home however completely private with its own entrance. The apartment is clean, cosy and spacious with a full kitchen. We provide unlimited Wifi and Netflix and a smart TV The Sleeman sports centre at Chandler is a 10 min drive. Wynnum Manly Marina a 2 min drive. We are a 15 min drive to the Port of Brisbane and have recently been hosting guests who are at the Port for work or on courses.
    Guests have commented on how quite it is here.
    We live in a very safe, friendly neighbourhood close to cafe's, weekend markets and restaurants. The apartment location is close to Moreton & Stradbroke Island and even closer to the Manly Boat Harbour where many day trips depart from.

  • Clean and fresh accommodation. The decor is new and fresh and the bed and pillows are very nice. Has everything you need. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Got a sightseeing tour of the area and helped book a bus on the way home. Takes about 20 minutes to walk to shops so a car is good to have if you don't mind walking. However, is only a 10 minute walk to the train station. Highly recommend this accommodation.

    This private space is the ground floor of our home and has a private entrance. Its open plan and large enough to accommodate 2 people (3 max if you have a small child). We have a diverse demographic of visitors however we do get a lot of sailors staying as our home is 3 blocks from the bayside with all the sailing and boat clubs, restaurants, cafe's etc. We are only a convenient 4 minute walk to train station which has express services into the heart of Brisbane.
    Beautiful walks and cycleways alongside the water just 5 minute walk from our home. Abundant choice of restaurants and cafe's too.

    Beautiful queenslander home in bayside suburb of Brisbane with pool and close to train station and bayside water activities, yacht clubs, walking and bicycle tracks, cafes and restaurants.
    Our homestay is like being with family. We go the extra mile to assist you in getting to know Brisbane and will often take you to tourist attractions when time permits. We live in a safe area in a beautiful location near the water and close to public transport to get into the city on a direct route.
    Our neighbourhood is green and leafy and well established. A short walk takes you to the water's edge where there is a sea water pool and plenty of walk and bicycle ways. We also have bikes that you can use. The cafe's offer the best coffee and there is a variety of restaurants to choose from.

  • Kerryn's place is delightful, with some nice space to relax and two lovely cats. I definitely felt part of the family and enjoyed chatting about our respective foreign travel, adventures and experiences. The room is very comfortable with a nice breeze and a ceiling fan for when the breeze falters. There is also air con but didn't feel the need at all. I would not hesitate to stay again, and in fact I will do when I return from the UK.

    The Manly Garden Studio has a big pool facing veranda surrounded by a lush garden with the feeling of a private Resort. Direct access to the pool, with kitchen, outdoor setting & dining, close to the Manly Beach and Moreton Bay’s many islands.
    The Manly Garden 2 Bedroom Apartment has been designed to give privacy and relaxation at the spacious pool and garden. Each bedroom has a separate entrance. The kitchen is fully equipped with all needed appliances including a microwave. The spacious living room and the veranda have a direct view to the Pool and the Garden.
    It's quiet here, apart from the birds singing, but what I love most is that we live so close to the beach. Just a few minutes by car and you can have a stroll at the beach passing pelicans or the Manly Harbour, a 20 minutes’ drive and you are at the ferry to North Stradbroke Island, an Island with the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in my life.

Taking a mini-break with an octogenarian mother means comfort matters... things like air-conditioning when it was so humid, the wonderful tropical garden to look out onto, the sounds of birds & peaceful neighbourhood ... and spending time in the pool was blissful. This was the ideal place for us to get away for a few days ...not so far from where we live but a million miles away from daily routine, close to the Bay and Islands for sightseeing and some great places to eat out that we found during the stay.     The room is at a separate end of the house to the bedroom used by the owner of the house. Comfortable space with full use of the wardrobe, bedside tables and tallboy for storage. There is a ceiling fan in the room as well as air-conditioner/heater. The room is close to the bathroom and toilet which is shared with the owner of the house. Free access to wi-fi.
    Manly West is a nice neighbourhood, less than 5 minutes drive to the beautiful waterfront where there's plenty of cafe's, bars and shops.

    Manly Harbour Village is a charming seaside precinct just 30 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD, boasting a lively atmosphere of entertainment, dining, boutique shopping and farmers market/craft market experiences.
  • Loved the house and the hosts. Convenient location, quite close the the train station, though you can’t hear the trains. Hosts were lovely, and very responsive to any questions. Sparkling clean and the pool was beautiful. Manly is a wonderful place, though swimming isn’t recommended in the early parts of the year at the beaches, you can quickly get to the amazing sunshine or gold coasts, or take a ferry over to Moreton bay or Stradbroke island for scuba and snorkelling! Would definitely recommend!

The train station is about a five minute walk if you want to head into town.

    You have full access to downstairs which hosts two bedrooms, private bathroom and toilet, sitting room and laundry. Both bedrooms are equipped with a Queen Bed, desk and chair.     Our house is located within easy walking distance to the Wynnum Plaza Shopping Centre and a quick 5 minute drive to the Wynnum Foreshore and Manly Harbour. We have a small park a short stroll down the streets for the kids to play in. We are a 15 minute drive to the airport for easy access over the Gateway Bridge.

    With a recently renovated interior this quiet one bedroom townhouse is tastefully decorated with a Japanese styled theme including a mix of traditional Japanese and modern contemporary Australian art. Featuring works by modern Australian artists Arryn Snowball, Greg Brady and Wayne Rasmussen. Relax on the balcony with ocean views or on one of the Japanese floor chairs with a green tea. The bedroom is tastefully separated from the kitchen, lounge area with a ‘noren’ (Japanese curtain) this keeps the bedroom dark while also allowing bay breezes to enter. A well stocked pantry and fridge is yours to explore and assistance can be given if you wish to cook Japanese meals ramen, sukiyaki for example. Otherwise walk out the door and onto Cambridge Pde to explore the cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants and shops. Or stroll along the waterfront, grab fish and chips or head to one of the sailing or yacht clubs. There’s no need to go elsewhere when everything is in walking distance here!
    Our apartment is on the doorstep of Manly Harbour Village and the Manly Harbour, which is the largest recreational boat harbour in the Southern Hemisphere. Park the car in the garage, step out onto Cambridge Parade and explore the cafes, pubs, clubs, restaurants, cocktail and oyster bars. Or simply stroll down to the shops, the IGA, butcher or baker then cook on the bbqs in the nearby parks. Visit the Jan Powers or Manly Creative Markets on the weekend. Or if you want to work out walk, cycle or run the esplanade, the Bayside Twilight Marathon is on in September, cool down or do laps at the Manly Pool, take the kids to the Wynnum wading pool or visit the local gym. The first Saturday of each months shows free children’s movies screened in the park at the end of Cambridge Parade. The Manly Halloween street parade attracts thousands of visitors annually. Anzac and Remembrance Day services are held in the park across the road, the local RSL branch is also across the road. Take a boat from the marina to explore St Helena Island or head out on a fishing charter. You can head to Moreton Island from the Port of Brisbane or North Stradbroke Island from Cleveland, which are both close by. A paradise for bird watchers with several designated watching hides nearby, there are resident kookaburras and owls near the units. Walking along the water you may be lucky to spy dugong or sea turtles. The list goes on...

The appartment is very handy to local shops, restaurants, the train station and the Manly esplanade. We would definitely stay again.

  • Honestly there aren’t enough words to describe how awesome this place is. Bec and Nathan are the best hosts I’ve ever had. The fridge, pantry and bathroom were stocked with everything you could possibly need and covered off anything you could have forgotten to bring. The house has a great outdoor deck with views way out into the bay area and on a clear day you can see as far as the port. The bed was super comfy and the whole setting in the house was the perfect combination of japanese and other cultures it made you feel like you were travelling further than Brisbane. Free parking and access to washing facilities, air con and all the other mod cons you would need for a perfect getaway. We were also lucky enough to get a late check out due to our evening flight which was hugely appreciated. Recommended to all and can’t wait to come back. muchas gracias!

  • Beth & Nathan unit was absolutely sparkling clean and with a very personal touch. I can tell that they really think about the guests renting their place. Even they have this little bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and hotel type tiny hand soaps. The pantry was well stocked with staples and it looks like they have had in mind every single detail. The location is fantastic, close to cafes and lots of amenities and, at the same time, a bit away from the buzzle of the big crowds. If you are searching for a quite place, just to R&R this is the place. And if you are thinking or need to go to a bigger shopping centre, and you do not have your car at hand, the bus stop is just around the corner!

    Brand new town house, with a short walk to public transport, and bike ride to the waterfront. The area is great for casual fishing and boating. Shops and restaurants located close by and the airport is only a 15 minute drive away. The rooms are spacious, with built in wardrobes and are air conditioned. A continental breakfast will be provided for all guests. We both work in hospitality and love to meet new people and share life experiences whilst respecting your privacy.
    Guests have full access to kitchen, living and dining rooms as well as out door entertaining area with a bbq.
    Our house sits in between the beautiful Morton Bay and a 5 minute drive will take you to the restaurants and bars along the marina. The city is a short 25 minute drive and the Gold Coast is just under an hour south.

    It's quiet here, apart from the birds singing, but what I love most is that we live so close to the beach. Just a few minutes by car and you can have a stroll at the beach passing pelicans or the Manly Harbour, a 20 minutes’ drive and you are at the ferry to North Stradbroke Island, an Island with the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in my life.

    The cottage is small but with an open airy style adjoining the modern kitchen and breakfast bench. Though the rooms are small, they are clean and neat with comfy double beds and having their own TVs and built-in wardrobes. Located close to transport, you can catch a train in to the city or to the bayside suburbs of Wynnum, Manly, Lota & Cleveland. The latter meets the bus that takes you by water taxi to Stradbroke Island, arguably the most beautiful sub-tropical isle on the eastern seaboard.
    You are in walking distance to Wynnum Plaza, a large shopping complex of mixed businesses, supermarkets and restaurants.
    We have good neighbours who, while being unobtrusive, are always welcoming and willing to be of assistance.

    Comfortable place to stay while in Manly - private, quite and newly renovated so very fresh and inviting. The kitchen has everything you need and of course all linen is supplied. Access to casual sitting area with barbeque.
    Nice quite neighbourhood, train nearby and of course to walk along the waterfront is only 5 minutes down the hill.

  • I had an excellent stay at Melissa and Rene’s Place. The facilities were really good: I could cook in the spacious kitchen, swim in the pool anytime and use the covered gym area for yoga practice. I sat outside at the table to read and use my laptop as well. I rented the smallest room at the rear of the house, which suited my perfectly as a base for various other trips. The common areas (bathroom, kitchen and living room) were clean and spacious. A ten minute stroll away there is a wonderful mangrove walk (and bird sanctuary), which I visited every day or so, and the house is right by open grassland and practically on the shoreline, so it’s very peaceful here. Wynnum central station is a short walk away, which easily gets you into Brisbane or down to Manley if you don’t have transport ( which I didn’t). They also have bikes to lend out to quickly get you into town. Altogether I can thoroughly recommend their place for short term or longer term stays!

    Coming to Manly or Wynnum area for business, pleasure or family reasons? this unit is in a great position to enjoy your time here. Situated in Manly, 5 mins walk to water, restaurants and train station. Also very handy for sporting activities at Chandler. Quite position, totally separate to house on property, own private space to relax, TV, lounge, great kitchen and all linen and towels. Close to Gateway Motorway and Port. And of course the lovely foreshore to be enjoyed!
    Quite part of Manly, own private space and entrance with off street parking. Great kitchen and lounge to relax in. The unit is well equipped to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast pack on arrival.
    Close to water, many restaurants 5 minutes walk away along with train station. The foreshore is a great walk along the waters edge. Airport is 20 mins drive, Chandler sporting 10 mins drive, Gateway motorway access within 10 minutes and Port of Brisbane 5 minutes drive. The waterfront is a nice place to wander and you can even hire a paddle board on waterfront! The marina at Manly is right there and day tours leave from the main jetty.

    Guests will enjoy the master bedroom with: ensuite (shower, vanity, toilet), hairdryer, basic toiletries, air-conditioned and ceiling fan, built in robes, wall mounted TV and WiFi. For privacy, the master bedroom has its own secure and well lit entry and is locked off from the main apartment. Master bedroom opens onto private ground floor patio with hammock and BBQ table and chairs. The apartment complex is set in a tranquil bush setting.
    The apartment complex is new, and is ground floor opposite the complex/communal pool (additional toilet and shower) and BBQ area. This area also has a community BBQ and outdoor eating area adjacent to the pool. The complex is located in a bush setting and is very safe and secure. Parking is opposite the apartment and is included in stay.
    Manly/Lota/Wynnum area has a vibrant cafe feeling. On weekends there is always something to do, the local farmer's and craft markets are well worth a visit. A compendium in your room has current information on what's on and local maps. Uber eats is great if you just need some down time and eat at home.

    Beautiful apartment in waterfront boutique complex. Secure, quiet, stroll the waterfront or to nearby restaurants, shops, parks or just sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery of Moreton Bay. Close to the Airport, train and buses. I've lived in the area all my life - I'm a wealth of information for all things local. Very happy for a chat over a cuppa or a glass of wine. I'm very friendly and extremely approachable but understand if you'd just like your own space.
    Cosy Double Bedroom with Private Bathroom. Room for clothes to be put in drawers, hung in wardrobe if needed.
    Stunning Bay Views, apartment overlooks resort style private swimming pool and enclosed garden, fishing, boating, walking, (Park Run of a Saturday morning), meditating, local Saturday and Sunday markets at Manly (an easy walk along the waterfront), amazing childrens' and adults' parks/playgrounds and fitness equipment right along the waterfront. Wildlife - birds (local and migratory shore birds), fish, dugongs, dolphins etc. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets!! Sailing, sailboarding, windsurfing, waterskiing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking right out front of the complex. 3 minutes drive to Manly Marina - RQYS.

  • Sandy is a great host. Super accommodating and will either be great company or give you space dependent on your preferences. I only stayed one night for a work commitment and just needed somewhere quiet to bed down and get a good rest for the night. Sandy directed me to plenty of good, close food options and I got a great meal at a local restaurant with outdoor garden. Just lovely. But whilst I preferred to have a quiet night and turn in early, Sandy offered to keep me company for dinner if I preferred as I was travelling alone. But there was no pressure and she was not at all offended when I opted for spending the night collecting my thoughts by myself. I would recommend Sandy's place to anyone. Great location with great food and right on the water for a gorgeous walk/paddle/whatever. She was also really flexible for my check out which suited my work commitments and I was able to return at lunch time for a shower and to get ready for my flight. Thanks heaps Sandy.     luxury Hamptons feel, with the open spaces and relaxing atmosphere. The boardwalk is across the road to enjoy a stroll or just put your feet up and enjoy the view. Within close walking to the train station directly in to the CBD, or a 10-15 minute walk to the Esplanade and Manly With parks, Wynnum beach, restaurants and shops close by my place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families.
    The house is newly renovated. You only have access to downstairs which has 2 spacious bedrooms and a relaxing rumpus room to laze the day away or a separate lounge/dining. It does have its own driveway and separate entry. The driveway may appear to some people as steep however you can park on the street. It is fully self contained and need for nothing. A home away from home and close to the Manly/Wynnum Esplanade, parks, restaurants, Manly Yacht Club.
    Lota is a very relaxed suburb near the water. With family friendly parks, the esplanade, manly harbour & plenty of fish and chip shops to absorb the sea side atmosphere.

There is a large outdoor covered verandah which is very private and is a great space for al fresco dining and hanging out. Karlene and Brett, our hosts, were very approachable and helpful. It is not a huge space but it is very well thought out and comfortable. We would definitely rebook when we next visit.

Overlooking the swimming pool and garden, your beautifully appointed private suite is connected to our home by the alfresco patio that we welcome you to share with us. Bright and exquisitely decorated, we know you will enjoy your stay with us. Tadpoles' is always a popular choice amongst Sleeman Centre competitors, and we love having them back time and time again.
    Best suited to a couple although two children could easily sleep on the double sofa-bed. Car necessary - as public transport is not very regular, particularly weekends. We have plenty of off-street parking for your vehicle. Access to and from the airport is very direct along the freeway, avoiding all suburban areas. It takes only 20 minutes to drive there from our home. Linking to the freeway to make daily trips to the Sunshine Coast (1 hour 20) or Gold Coast (50 mins) is very simple and very quick - 3 minutes and you're on the freeway north and south! Guests prefer to staying longer with us and taking themselves on relaxed daily excursions, knowing their luggage and personal possessions are safely locked away with us. We are very close to direct link roads in to Brisbane City and certain times of the day can only take 20 minutes. Effective air conditioning ensures your comfort throughout our balmy summer months and cooler winter evenings. A centrally positioned ceiling fan gives you the other option of a more soothing breeze. Tadpoles' is perfectly positioned for those attending events at either the Sleeman Sports' Complex (2 minutes drive away) or the three Belmont Shooting ranges (3 mins drive away). Both complexes host events throughout every year. International, national and regional swimming/sports competitions are held at these venues. We will provide you with delicious and healthy breakfast food left in your suite, so you can help yourself at a time that best suits you. The kitchenette allows you to make tea/coffee and there is also a sandwich maker, toaster, microwave and bar fridge that is stocked with our home-made preserves. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO OTHER COOKING ALLOWED - a deliberate choice with it being a studio apartment. You will wake most mornings to the beautiful sounds of the native birds, the kookaburras start around 5am - their laugh is truly infectious. We have quite a flock of birds who think our place is their place, impatiently waiting each morning for their breakfast. We now have a beautiful rainbow lorikeet named Diane who crashed in to our window over two years ago - is absolutely adorable and now part of our family. We've occasionally had 'Kenny' the Koala arrive up a tree, but it's not often. One minute drive you will find the Gumdale shopping centre showcasing different cafes/restaurants as well as the local pub which serves up great food. There should be a store there that will meet all your needs (pharmacy, post office, grocery, wine store). As we live in the main house you will always see us pottering. The property is on 2.5 acres with huge protected gum trees. You will see us enjoying, working and relaxing around the area most days (unless John's surfing). We will always respect your privacy, but if you feel like a chat over a cuppa/wine with us, we always enjoy swapping travel stories. I pride myself in being a Super Host and encourage any guests to please let me know if there is something they are not happy with. I always strive to provide a clean, welcoming environment for you, and will do my utmost to ensure you will come back in the future, or recommend Tadpoles' Retreat to fellow travellers. To date the mix of guests that have made Tadpoles' Retreat their home away from home has been truly amazing: 30% are attending either the internationally acclaimed Sleeman Sports Complex or one of the three shooting venues at Belmont. One of our sporting families had one of their 4 sons represent Australia at the Rio Paralympics! To date in one year they have stayed with us seven times. We indeed feel very special. 30% of guests are from countries far and wide. We always try and invite our guests for a dinner (time permitted). We are continually learning about others' cultures and totally enjoy our get togethers. The other 30% of our guests are people often flying/driving interstate for business and/or pleasure. Tadpoles' Retreat seems perfectly located from the airport with no negotiating through built up areas.

    This self-contained spacious Studio in a quiet leafy suburban street can be your home away from home. Handy to shops, public transport, Moreton Bay & the Motorway for a quick trip to the airport, or easy access to the city, Gold or Sunshine Coasts.
    Welcome! I have stayed in a variety of Airbnb places and have done my best to create a space for you that offers all the things I've enjoyed plus all those things that I would have liked! There is ample parking on the street, and you are also welcome to use the driveway for parking. Please note that the driveway leading up to the house is quite steep There is reverse cycle air conditioning and a floor fan in this light, airy and immaculately clean space. You will have separate access to the Studio directly from the driveway. The sleeping area includes a comfortable queen-sized & single trundle bed, as well as a wardrobe with hangers that has been added since the photos were taken. I can also provide a single airbed, as well as a portable cot, if needed. There is plenty of storage space so that you are not surrounded by luggage during your stay. The kitchenette is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave oven, single element cooktop, small baking/grilling oven, electric frying pan, kettle, coffee plunger & toaster. Crockery & cutlery to meet basic cooking needs is also provided. If you need anything else I will happily provide it for you. A small table with four chairs provides a handy place for using your laptop as well as dining. USB chargers, as well as extra power points, are available for your devices. The bathroom includes the toilet and shower, a laundry hamper and hair dryer, and also has ample storage space for your toiletries. PLEASE NOTE that while the unit itself is wheelchair accessible, there are two steps up into the shower. The lounge area has a small TV, ChromeCast Dongle, a generous sized, good quality sofa and an arm chair. An iron and ironing board are also provided.
    Wynnum is a tranquil family-friendly bayside suburb that boasts great facilities for fishing, sailing/boating, walking, cycling, & kayaking. It has a growing number of interesting little cafes & boutique shops springing up in the central shopping centre, as well as along the Esplanade. It's also a popular spot for op shopping! Of course, fish & chip shops abound! Close by is a Wynnum Plaza which has Woolworths, Coles, KMart and a range of other shops, including a laundromat. Walk to the Wynnum Golf Course! An information Folder about local attractions is provided in the shared games area.

    Welcome to our home by the bay! Studio B is a self-contained apartment located on the first floor of this recently renovated cottage-come-three-storey home.   • The most professional Airbnb we have stayed in. It feels like many extra details were thought of to make peoples stay more comfortable. It is equipped with everything you need for a long or short stay. Service and amenities are much better than a hotel. For example, there were a few little snacks for us on arrival and Rebecca makes a big effort to keep the space clean. The unit is like new, very modern and private. Patrick, Rebecca and the kids are lovely and made us feel welcome from day 1. We would definitely come back. The pool is an added bonus!

  • Just a delight We only had a 2-night stay in Studio B, but are very glad we chose this accommodation. These studios are new, well appointed and meticulously clean. Shops, train and the coast are all within a 5 minute walk. We were fortunate to speak to both of our hosts, lovely people, who shared their creation of this property and their vision. It is pleasing to see the property is being well utilised, as the hosts are obviously trying to provide high quality accommodation to suit a range of fussy travellers. With access available to the pool, BBQ area and entertaining area, this property has a lot to offer, especially if there are multiple groups staying. We would highly recommend this property and these hosts, as we found it/them to be … just a delight.

    This cosy flat is close to Murarrie train station, the airport and local shops. The flat has amenities for washing clothes and air mattresses should you need an additional quest stay. The access is easy and no stairs inside the unit. The flat is fully self contained and has lots of charm. Guest have access to the backyard, courtyard / barbecue and I am nearby or just a call away if guests need any help 😊.
    There is little garden court yard next to the stairs that is available to quests, a relaxing space to have a coffee and listen to the birds 🐦
    We are very close to public transportation, bus and trains. A convenient 7/11 store is on the same street as well as takeaway shop, coffee shop and local newsagents. Only 2 minutes to cannon hill shopping precinct.

  • Jillian is a great host. Checking in was a breeze. She is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very cozy, and apart from a stove you will find everything you might need. Only if you are a very light sleeper or easily annoyed by noises, you might not like the noises from the wooden ceiling above you. But this is how these houses are built. You can hear people walking upstairs. For me it was no problem, and at night it was quiet. Would like to stay here again.

    Quiet, light and airy large two-bedroom apartment in Thorneside surrounded by parkland and backing onto the train line. This has recently been built, although some areas are still a work-in-progress that we are working hard to finish. Close to the train station for journeys into Brisbane City or out to the Bayside. Ideal for one or two couples, a couple with young children or solo travellers.
    Two-bedroom apartment with double beds in each room. One room has an en-suite bathroom, whilst there is a second bathroom close to the other room. Fully-equipped kitchen. Open-plan living and dining area. There is a single car port, with enough room to park another 2 cars on the driveway.
    A quiet neighbourhood on the Bayside offering the following: * Short distance to Bayside bush and esplanade walks * A popular area for cyclists as the Moreton Bay Cycleway can be found at the start of the street only 500m away * Tingalpa Creek is located a short 250m away, where there is a boat ramp for boating, fishing and home to the Wynnum Redlands Canoe Club * Conveniently located only approx. 10 minutes drive away from the Sleeman Sports Complex.
  • This accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Our young children loved the selection of toys and books, the attached carport was very useful when we needed to check- out in the rain, and the location couldn't be more convenient if you plan to do a lot of train trips!   • A spacious, clean, easy to live in property. Excellent cooking facilities (I used the hob to prepare meals for myself) Lovely little touches such as a bottle of cold water in the fridge (it was about 28C in the evening when I arrived!); good communication, especially re my arrival time - my plane from the UK was delayed by an hour - easy access, with excellent instructions as to the location of the key, etc.; good basic range of foods in the larder and fridge. Be aware of the occasional crash/noises on the balcony in the evening as the possums become active! It is close to the rail way line - trains are heard. Not a problem for me, but maybe for light sleepers in the morning. Excellent train service into Brisbane or out to Cleveland. A GO card cost me A$30 including a A$10 deposit. I made two trips into Brisbane and still had A$8 credit on my card. This can be claimed, along with the deposit, at the end of your trip. Takes about 40 mins to get into Brisbane Central. Birkdale shopping centre is a few minutes drive away - avoid using 8-9am and 3-4pm as there is a school next to the shopping centre - slight traffic delays experienced (mind you I was collecting my own grandson from the school!). Good accommodation which I hope to use again in the future.

  • Rebecca is an amazing host. Her communication is fantastic and they are very friendly. As mentioned in her description this place is attached to their house and our privacy was well respected. The pantry and kitchen are well stocked and everything was sparkling clean. Our stay felt like a home away from home and I'd 100% book with Rebecca again should I stay up in Brisbane again. 10/10
