  • Had a great stay. The beds were super comfortable and our 2 boys really enjoyed sharing the bunk bed room together (which they won’t do at home!). Sound travels very well in the cabin so it’s easy to tell when the kids get out of bed. 🙂 Everything there for us to cook our meals, including a few different methods of making coffee in the morning. Took a half hour drive to Lightening Lakes for some snowshoeing but spent most of our time reading in front of the fire and watching pandemic movies on TV.

  • We didn't get to stay at Dustin's airbnb because of the self-isolation measures due to Covid-19. However I'd like to say that Dustin and Dan were very communicative during the entire process and were very compassionate when we had to cancel our trip at the last minute (the day of!) because members of our group had to quarantine themselves and even gave us 50% of the accom fee back despite a very firm cancellation policy. They seem like great people and I would 100% book with them again once everything settles again in the near future!

  • The Moosewood is truly a delightful cabin stay! It’s cozy and comfortable and the hosts have provided many ‘extra’ touches to make it comfortable. The beds were fabulous and the wood burning fireplace made for a homey, warm ambience. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including the smaller sized stove! We’ll always remember this place!

  • This is such a lovely place to stay, I would highly recommend for a small group of adults with or without children. Having the sonos speaker was also a lovely touch.

  • Super cute cabin with everything we needed! Can’t wait to go back!

    Brittany2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nice little holiday chalet. We spent a lot of time lazing around the fireplace. A real wood fire is a luxury, especially in winter. The kitchen is spacious and well arranged. The large room upstairs is very comfortable. The rooms are a bit small, but not too small.

    Thomas2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay. It is as cute as the photos. Very nice cabin with character and charm. I would definitely stay again and great value. We didn’t eat out and cooked all our meals there ,the kitchen was nice and clean and has all the basics. I might suggest if you are making something specific and need a certain type/size dish to maybe bring your own. We had a great time and enjoyed the town of hope and the snow. There was also lots of fun toys and convenience for if you had kids and a great DVD selection.

    Whitney2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome location, beautiful cabin and the hosts were quick to respond to any questions or concerns during our stay.

  • The cabin is really cosy, we loved the relax corner close to the fireplace.

    Florent2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our stay. Absolutely perfect for a quiet cabin getaway. Erin was quick and helpful to communicate with and the place is as advertised. Would recommend and return ourselves. We are a family of 6 (4 young kids) and found the space more than enough. Thank you!!

  • I think this is my 5th time at the Antler Hideaway. This time my daughter and I used it as our base for a Manning ski vacation. I love this place! Erin is great! I intend to come back here again multiple times next ski season.

    Sam2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a cute little cabin, very spacious and very cozy. We very much enjoyed the wood stove and couch. Having a tv was also great to watch movies on! The place was quick to warm up and the kitchen had everything we needed! Definitely coming back with a group, as it sleeps at least 8 people!

Enjoy the warm fire from the wood stove during your stay at "The Belle." This place is great for a family getaway with one separate bedroom and a spacious Loft over-looking the living area. It is located only 2 hours from Vancouver and 15 minutes from Hope in the pleasant Sunshine Valley neighbourhood.
The bathroom has been newly renovated. The entire cabin has been freshened up and is ready for a care free relaxing vacation. I would note that there is no cell phone service in the area. Although once connected to the high speed wifi stay connected to the outside world is still possible.
  • We enjoyed so much staying at Joy's cabin. I would like to encourage everybody to spend their vacation at the wonderful, cozy cabin. It is a real place where you can forget about the time and the noisy. The inside fire, the decorations the kitchenette full of everything you need to prepare your own meals, the location which is among the mountains and the pine trees will help you to have one of your wonderful vacations.

  • Live in Toronto, was in Vancouver for work. Girlfriend flew out to join me and we used Joy’s place as a get away from the city. Enjoyed the location, close enough to Hope for groceries or restaurants and a quick drive over to Manning Park. Really enjoyed the feel of the place. Would recommend as an excellent getaway to nature in a cozy cabin.

Have a Canadian wilderness experience in the Sunshine Valley. Two hours from the heart of Vancouver and 30 minutes west of the Lodge at Manning Park, this gorgeous getaway is the perfect place to bring the people you love for a true log home adventure. In the winter, ski, snowshoe, ATV, build a snowman, slide down a hill on a toboggan, or snuggle in with a good book by the fireplace. In the summer, hike, canoe, paddle board, fish, ATV. It's all here. if you like cats, bring treats!
This is a private suite in the downstairs area of the home. It has one very large bedroom with an electric, heating fireplace where the bed can either be a king or 2 twins. The room is very cozy and romantic. Imagine low lights, fireplace, sheep skin rugs. There is a sitting area in the corner where you can snuggle up and read a good book and have a cuppa as well. The living room is a large, 260 square foot room with an electric, heating fireplace and 2 fold out single couches. There is a DRY kitchenette with everything you need to make many kinds of hot meals, however the prep space is small, so best to stick with simple meals. There is an induction burner, a toaster oven and an electric frying pan. There is a tub to do your dishes. You just need to get hot water from the bathroom tap. There is a lovely bathroom with heated tile floors and a rain shower to provide a luxurious, spa like experience. If you are holding your wedding in the Fraser Valley, this is the perfect honeymoon suite. Book it for the weekend and you can use the suite for the bridal party to stay over the night before the wedding, get ready on the day of, and then come back to a romantic suite for the night with your new significant other.
There are neighbours here, almost as close as you would find in the city. It's a small, bush community of about 160 people that live here year round. A walk through the area is gorgeous if you love log homes with lots of character. There is also a walk along the river. You will see wildlife in the summer, deers, wild birds, and I have bear spray and a bear bell you can borrow. You never know what else you may see. Bobcats, lynx, marmots, fox, martins, these are all rarer sightings, but you never know!
  • A great stay at Marion's! A really cozy cabin suite feel. Excellent communication, and very quick replies to my questions. Came and said hello, and gave us directions to some local trails when we arrived. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept on - Marion has given us details on where to get it :) Great shower, with everything you would need provided for the bathroom. The kitchenette is small as advertised, but fine - we brought a curry for the evenings and then just did simple things like cooking rice, avocado on toast for breakfast etc. and made sandwiches for lunch. Enjoyed playing scrabble and other games in the evening, and there was a great selection on Cable TV and Netflix! The only thing I would mention not listed that the house is situated up a steep hill - it snowed a *lot* while we were there (yay!) but our 2WD struggled and we had to leave it at the bottom one day while we waited for the gritters to come. Completely fine for us but could be an issue for some with accessibility issues.

    John2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing place to stay at during our trip to Manning Park! Very cozy, private, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The details all throughout the suite were lovely, Check-in/check-out was smooth, the entire suite was sparkling clean, and location was perfect as it was a ~25 minute drive from Manning and ~10 mins from Hope. Marion was quick to reply to any questions we had, and very informative in giving directions/ things to know before our trip. Favourite parts were the coffee machine and the fire places :)

    Nastia2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very stylish, rustic space very close to Manning Park. As per description, limited cooking amenities, but a great place to stay the night. The bed is two singles pushed together with a crease.

    Joseph2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Marion’s place is even more warm and welcoming than the pictures advertise. The king bed was very comfortable and the nice little touches like the vanilla honey for tea were a warm gesture. The environment felt cozy and relaxed. Our purpose for the trip was to ski at Manning Park, so the location was great. It’s a great spot for outdoor exploration. We would definitely stay there again!

    Hayley2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Marion's place was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. She was a great host, communicated clearly, and made us feel at home. I'd recommend her place to others looking for a great getaway close to Manning Park. Would stay here again!

    Ian2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time at Marion's and we're hoping to be back for a third stay. It's a perfect cosy place for a winter get away with easy access to nearby Manning park.

    Peter & Lisa2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome stay at Marion’s place. It was very clean inside, and the bed was so soft and comfortable! Great for a cute and cozy weekend getaway. The dry-kitchen is very well stocked for its size. We prepped food before our stay which made it very easy to make up some quick meals. :)

    Kenna2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing. Gorgeous. Thoughtful. Respectful. If you are in town for work, for skiing or hiking or a simple romance night away.... this place is great. Limited kitchen but not really depending what you are used too. I simply enjoy all about it. Marion is great great host. Area is quiet and remote but it’s a great community and not far from civilization. 15 minutes drive from hope. Enough to see there.

We are located in a wonderful central location. A 20 min drive to Princeton (Where friends and rivers meet). Where there is great hiking, horse back riding, the gold commissioner and many more things to explore. OR a short 1/2 hour drive to Keremeos where you can experience the fruit and veggie stands or have a wonderful meal at one of the many restaurants in town. Or if going out is not your style sit by the river with a good book or painting and watch the river roll by in the backyard.
  • Ashtine's place is stunning! Really convenient for a stopover on hwy 3. Comfiest bed and great shower and bathroom with all the supplies you could need. Sweet breakfast included. Loved sitting on the porch in the evening and hearing the river run by. Only thing to note ... There is no kitchen and no nearby places to eat so if you're arriving late, be sure to eat first. I missed this when reading the listing but Jesse and Ashtine were kind enough to heat up our pizza. Thanks for a great stay!

    Rosie2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Ashtine and Jesses house is located right next to the river and offers really cozy little rooms and a shared bathroom. The hosts are really friendly and kind and we got a quick answer to all our questions in front. The breakfast in the morning made our stay perfect. Especially the selfmade muffins. It was the perfect place to stay on our way trough the mountains. Highly recommended!!

    Eric2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Even if we could only stay one night, it was a great stay at Ashtine & Jesse. They are super nice and helpful at all times. The rooms are even more cozy than in the pictures. The house and the owners have a great eye for that certain something. Nothing was missing, we even got homemade muffins for breakfast! We would definitely book this domicile again.

The bathroom has a large soaker tub, separate shower and dual sinks. The space also includes a very large, private deck overlooking Kawkawa lake. We have a crib available on request. • Great cabin tucked away in the woods. Very comfortable and well equipped. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.

  • This is our third time in your cabins, and our best experience so far. We love the lower cabin, slightly different configuration than the upper one and suited us with the upstairs suite and space for laying out a yoga mat. Gord was very helpful when we couldn't find the hot water switch and gave us some tips for cold weather. Mother Nature totally cooperated and provided a fresh blanket of snow. Originally we thought we'd go to Manning Park to snowshoe but didn't need to leave the property, with trails in either direction and enough food etc for the weekend. We love your peaceful cabin, building fires every day, and a welcome break from the city life. We will be back!

    Claire2020-01-12T00:00:00Z

This newly renovated cottage is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Similkameen Valley in the central interior of Southern British Columbia. Located in the historic village of Hedley, the cottage is one of the original miner's cottages built during the gold mining boom that began in the area in the late 1800's.
The entire cottage is for your own use. There is a kitchen equipped with a bar fridge, toaster, microwave and convection ovens, hot plate, and electric kettle. Coffee and tea are provided. In the living room is a wall-mounted tv with access to Netflix. On the small covered patio there is a bistro table and chairs where you can sit and take in the mountains. Parking is on the street out front.
Visit the local wineries. Float down the Similkameen from Bromley Rock. Cool your feet in Hedley Creek. Apex Ski Resort, Nickel Plate Nordic Center, and Manning Park Resort are all within easy driving distance. There you can find skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain biking. The area around Hedley is famous for its hunting and fishing. Or just sit and drink in the scenery with a glass of the local vintage in hand.
  • We had an amazing time in the beautiful Okanagan-Similkameen valley! Penny’s cottage is so cozy and welcoming! It was so incredibly amazing to walk in a warm cottage after 4 hours tough drive! Thanks so much Penny!

  • Penny’s cottage was a lovely place to stay! When we arrived there was delicious homemade bread, jam and butter left for us on the table, which I thought was a nice touch. The cottage was spotless and the bed was very comfortable! We had dinner and watched movies by the fire. I would definitely stay at Penny’s cottage again. We had a very relaxing stay.

Thank you Penny and Tony.

  • Very clean and cozy place to stay. We booked in one of our guys who was working in the area and he was very happy at Penny's. Host gave amazing hospitality from the fresh loaf of homemade bread to the follow up messages when our guy had to leave the area after a big snow dump. Nice place to stay with friendly, caring people. Thanks Penny, we will certainly stay again if we are ever back in the area.

  • We loved our stay at Penny's cottage. It was very tranquil. The bed is comfortable, and the decor is cozy. The door frames are short (as mentioned in a few of the reviews), but my 6'5" hubby only smacked his head once on a half awake bathroom trip (he learned quickly haha). Penny is lovely, and was a wonderful host. Overall a beautiful quiet place that we look forward to returning to.

  • This air bnb is absolutely perfect. You can tell it is a brand new suite and newly renovated. Everything is crisp white, clean and thoughtfully planned. Communication with Linnea was seamless. The bed was better than any hotel bed I’ve ever slept in (I travel for work a lot). Linnea was thoughtful with little touches that travellers like myself appreciate like water coolers, good quality tea, honey and creamers in the fridge. Nice quality shampoos and conditioner. Towels were soft and high quality. Sports equipment too! We also really enjoyed playing cards (4 different games available) We love the private entrance and parking spot. We wish we could of stayed longer to fully enjoy the suite and the large park literally across the street. Perfect for kids!!! Also, Thank you for the special treat upon arrival. :-) Linnea, you made our quick stay memorable. Our favourite Airbnb to date! Thank you again!!!

  • This cottage is more like a small house or even an oasis. Everything is new and sparkling clean and the house is so nice we found ourselves staying in a playing games by the fire. All the beds are comfy and there really is plenty of space for 8 adults. We will likely come back again.

  • Beautiful place, great location and very peaceful. Would highly recommend renting Blains place

    Bryan2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Big Rock while on a family ski vacation. The drive to Manning ski hill was about 40 minutes. Beautiful house, loved the antique decor and there were a few toys for our toddler and bunk beds which she loved. Everything was very clean and organized. Would stay again on our next adventure!

    Lisa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Chalet is located 45 minutes from Manning Park Resort. Everything was perfect. As soon as we entered in the chalet, we felt welcoming, home away from home, all the furnitures are present - what a decoration!! Blain’s Chalet is truly the best place for resting, chilling and escaping from the city.

    Charlotte2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home, excellent hosts with great communication.

    Ray2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Big Rock. It’s the perfect getaway spot as it feels both like a cozy cabin, but also well-equipped just like your own home. The photos don’t do enough to show how spacious and lovely it is. Easy to get to and lots to do in the area. Perfect if you are looking for some outdoor adventure or a quiet stay indoors for some R&R. We loved the outside space with BBQ and fire pit and at night enjoyed relaxing around the fireplace inside. The place seems brand new, very clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. More than enough space for our family. The cabin can comfortably sleep 3 families with 3 full separate bedrooms including the master with ensuite. Our little one likes to roam at night so there was enough room in our bedroom to put a mattress (or pack n play) in the room so that she could sleep with us. Beds are super comfy and access to the washer and dryer is a bonus when travelling with kids. Kids of all ages will love the “kids’ room” which was a big hit with all the toys and games. Explore the area a bit as there are some cultural points of interest including a fascinating little museum walking distance from the cabin. Lots of places to go hike and explore. We highly recommend it and will book again in the future.

Welcome to The Trailer in the Trees. Sit and unwind in a private setting surrounded by mountain views, 5 minute walk to Kawkawa Lake. Nestled in the trees with a spectacular view of Mount Ogilvie and Mount Hope from one of two decks. If you like the outdoors and exploring nature or just need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is the place for you.
There are many beautiful well kept trails in the neighbourhood. Thacker Park trail takes you along Kawkawa Creek which is a salmon spawning stream that empties into the Coquihalla River. The marsh makes for good birding and depending on the time of day you may see one of the resident beavers that make the marsh their home. There is Othello Tunnels which can be reached by car up Othello Road, bike or a walk through a wide path that follows Kettle Valley Road to the tunnels.
We are 5 minute drive to downtown, there are a number of restaurants and businesses along Wallace Street. There are two coffee shops adjacent to the park in town both offer light lunches and a great atmosphere. If you want to find out more on our beautiful town drop into the Visitor Centre on Water Avenue, they are experts on the area, sites to see and what is happening locally.
  • Stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend and the place was absolutely stunning! David and his wife had keeper the place sparkling clean and made sure you’re all good. • We were in the area to explore Manning Park, but didn't want to stay at the resort due to the high prices. We were so glad to have found this place because it's affordable and it's a comfortable and big space. Sheldon was very responsive and he made sure that the place was clean and well equipped with daily needs. He provides more than other airbnbs that I've stayed at! Even though he lives downstairs and we share the kitchen, we didn't see him at all so he gave us a lot of privacy. His house is beautiful with nice decorations. 10/10 would stay here again if we came this way. Thank you!

  • Fantastic spot with fantastic value. My girlfriend and I came here to unplug for a weekend and loved the stay. Extremely peaceful with great outdoor options surrounding you. Our time was split between hiking outside and melting next to the fire inside. Sheldon provides more firewood than needed for a wood furnace right next to a giant TV w/all the streaming options.

  • Iveta is just the nicest host! friendly, timely, and so accommodating. 13 of stayed for a ski weekend to Manning Park. We had the best time at the house and couldn't be more grateful for everything Iveta did to make us feel comfortable. The house is charming, central and very well equipped – full kitchen utensils, crockery and appliances; soap, linen, towels. Definitely coming back! :)

    Arvind2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Iveta is the BEST! Nothing was lacking and every question I had, Iveta quickly (and most satisfactorily) answered. You would never think you've left home - all of the amenities were there; plenty of cookware, appliances, dishes, etc. - unlike some rentals. And, if she didn't have it at the house, she probably would have gotten it for you! The accommodations were great and there is quite the DVD collection! A Five Star+ experience for our group. Highly recommend.

Coffee, tea, chocolates, local tips and coupons, a fireplace, and a large bathtub that was perfect for an apres ski soak. We had a wonderful weekend here.

Just 2 hours east of Vancouver and 15 minutes east of Hope on highway 3, this 3.5 bedroom hand built log home is situated 2000 feet in the Fraser Valley mountains in the quiet Sunshine Valley neighborhood.
3.5 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms with enough space for two or more families

  • An exceptional space, my favorite in Sunshine Valley! Great value, great amenities, kitchen has everything you could need. Would recommend that the host retire from his greeting duties though, and a simple lockbox and key with detailed check in/check out instructions system set up.

Welcome to C's Cozy Cabin, very close to Kawakawa Lake & 3km from Hope town center, a fully equipped deluxe wood cottage nestled between majestic trees, streams & forest. The perfect place to explore the big nature around Hope & the region surrounded by rivers, canyons, & the Cascades mountains. Inside, you'll find a gourmet kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room with fireplace, a TV room with sofabed, & 3 bedrooms with comfy beds. Enjoy the gas BBQ and outdoor dining area on the patio.
This place is my retreat to relax and connect with nature. Even if the weather is bad, you can just stay in, light the fireplace and enjoy the peaceful setting with views of mountains and forests, cook, relax, have a glass of wine and binge-watch Netflix. There is a firepit too.
Some of my favourite places and things to do--a swim or paddle in Kawakawa Lake, walking the trail along the Coquihalla River or the park where the mighty Fraser meets the Coquilhalla, a visit to Othello Tunnels, a greasy breakfast at Rolly's, and a big burger from Home restaurant and a coffee in Blue Moose cafe,
  • A great place for a group of adults. It’s sometimes hard to find rentals that have enough beds of the right size to accommodate adult friends. We had a great stay and particularly loved the little creek that runs through the front yard. Would love to come back again :) Highly recommend!

  • This tiny home is a gem! From the start, Elsie was able to give me some information about trails in the area and ensured I had accurate and detailed directions to the house. A great host! When I arrived, I entered a clean, stylish and cozy home equipped with dishes, cozy blankets, soft towels, tea and coffee, complimentary snacks, ice in the freezer, ear plugs...the works! The home is pretty close to the train tracks so you can hear it pretty well at night but other than that this stay was awesome! It was just the rest and relaxation I needed after the holiday season:)

    Jennifer2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Elsie’s tiny house is great. All the amenities of home while in the woods. great communication throughout the stay and I hope to be back for summer.

  • I only have fantastic things to say about our stay! Elsie and her tiny home was the perfect away time for our family. Her communication from the moment of booking was great. The house itself is stunning. A tiny bit of paradise right by the mountains, with a perfect view. It really has got everything you need. Elsie made our stay that much more special by her kind and thoughtful hospitality. We liked the welcome basket. The whole place was impeccably clean. Totally recommend and we will be coming back!

    Mike2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Elsie and her family are gracious hosts, there to accommodate you as well as give you your privacy. Their tiny house is clean, cozy, warm, and perfect for a couple's getaway. It is easy to access from highway 1 and within a short drive of some beautiful scenery. Would recommend!

    Russell2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Elsies tiny house was amazing. We enjoyed our stay. The place is spotless and nicely furnished. Good quality towels and dishes, etc. The bed was very comfortable. Elsie was great at communicating and even checked in a few times when the hydro went out. ( BC hydro was doing maintenance ). We enjoyed the fire, the stars , and even got to see the CP holiday train pass by. The coffee, tea, and snacks were appreciated. Good quality shampoo and body wash. We will definitely return if back in the area.

    Stacey2019-12-17T00:00:00Z

  • The tiny house was beautiful and utterly charming. It had high-end finishings and a super comfortable mattress to sleep on. Also appreciated the thoughtful welcoming basket! The only comment I would have is that it is right beside a highway and train tracks so you do hear them throughout the night. Would definitely book again.

Welcome to our family cabin. We've owned this cabin for over 20 years and have 3 generations worth of wonderful memories here. As a family, we've decided to open the doors to the oasis we've referred to as "the Cabina" (coined by our grandfather) to other, respectful, lovers of nature, friends, and good times.
If you're like me, you'll hope for rain or snow, for the perfect excuse to stay inside and watch movies while the wood burning fire crackles in the background. My dad loves the nearby hikes; my uncle likes biking in the area; my cousins won't leave before roasting marshmallows over an outside campfire. There is something for everyone!
  • Very nice, and large cabin, with everything we needed to be comfortable: very well-equipped kitchen and lots of fire wood. The check-in process was smooth and we were allowed to check out late, which was very convenient and let us enjoy the area much more.

    Hirad2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a beautiful cabin in an awesome location. The openness of the cabin made it great for our group to all hangout together.

    James2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I were looking for a fun cabin getaway close enough to the city to not be a hassle but still with that "out in the woods" feeling and we got it! There were 8 of us and we loved the there was plenty of space and details like more than enough cutlery and dining chairs which surprisingly isn't always the case when we travel in larger groups. We loved having a warm fire with the wood that was cut and left for us (Stepano was super hospitable and responsive which is always a bonus)! During our stay we went skiing at Manning which was a reasonable drive away, we also went on lots of walks in the area with our dog; loved that we were in nature and right next to a creek. I can imagine this would also be an awesome place to stay in the summer as well since this area has so many fun outdoor activities! Our whole group agreed that we would definitely stay here again!

    Cassandra2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Upon arriving at Arnies Cabina our faces lit up with joy and excitement as we pulled into the driveway of the cabin. Picture perfect right out of a movie! A beautiful log cabin with every little touch that feels like home! Spacious and well laid out with lots of room for every family member or friend so you're not all on top of each other. Sparkling clean with nicely folded, fresh towels in your bathrooms, extra bedding and pillows if needed and a tonne of appliances in the kitchen, for the coffee lovers that we are! An easy to use lock/key system and a beautiful wood stove in the living room for ambiance and marshmallow roasting (along with a second firepit outside!). You will never be bored here as theres also a community games room (air hockey, ping pong, jenga, arcade, pool table etc) an indoor hot and inground outdoor pool in the summer. This place has it all, along with the rustic charm of a family cabin nestled among the trees! It's also nice and quiet (the cabins are not piled on top of each other and plenty of trees and tonnes of space between properties so you will definitely have that 'cabin in the woods' feel!) Our host Stefano was so accommodating, kind and thoughtful with all of his fast responses to my questions and messages! He let us know ALL the info/tips/how-to's before we arrived and it was just wonderful! This was such a magical weekend away with our girls and we cant wait to go back. If you're reading this trying to figure out which air bnb to pick, pick THIS ONE! You wont be disappointed, you'll feel like family the second you walk in the door.

A completely renovated cottage and rustic cabin sit on this half acre forested lot in the mountains and wilderness near Chilliwack Provincial Park. As this is a vacation property and not a regular air-bnb, you will have the cottage and cabin to yourself. This is the perfect place for one or two families with children to vacation. It is a short distance to Chilliwack Lake Prov Park and river access is nearby. The well known Lindeman lake hike and Bosumarne falls are within walking distance.
The accommodations are split amongst the main cottage and a smaller rustic cabin. The main cottage has a full kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms and has two queen beds, one double, three single beds and a queen sofa bed in the living room. The smaller cabin has one double and one set of bunk beds. Every window in the cottage has a view of the forest or mountains. The other homes in the area are mostly hidden from sight. We have left the property as natural as possible as we love nature. There is a camp fire area, as well as a flat level area. The cottage has both a usable front deck and a large rear deck with barbecue. The cabin (second building) also has small deck in front of it.
This neighbourhood is a small rural subdivision of half acre lots in the wildness near lake Chilliwack. It borders the chillwack river, and Chilliwack lake provincial park, and is close to many hiking, fishing and ATV areas. Everybody keeps to themselves and values their privacy. Most properties are heavily treed as people like their neighbours, but don't want to see their houses.

  • This place was paradise for us. We needed an escape from the city and wanted to go somewhere warm and inviting...we found the perfect place. Penny and Darren were so welcoming and helpful. The place itself is cosy with a wood stove that will keep you warm and provide a truly rustic experience. The bed was very comfortable and we had the best sleeps. The kitchen was well-stocked and we brought a ton of food so we had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. There were all sorts of cute touches that made the cabin feel like a home away from home. The area was so peaceful and serene. The snow and the trees were really beautiful. We went on walks around the area and had the most lovely time. Lastly, the animals!! I met just the friendliest cat on the first night there and the dogs were so sweet and fun. Penny and Darren have created their own slice of heaven and I feel incredibly fortunate that they shared it with us. If you're looking to experience the peace and simplicity of rural life with excellent hospitality I highly recommend staying here. Will definitely go back!

    Erin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We took the cabin in the dead of winter so we didn't get a chance to see the grounds or enjoy the surrounding area, however it was a wonderful opportunity to disconnect from the world for awhile. No TV and no Telus cell service here. Wood heat, but fully equipped kitchen, everything else works as expected. Very clean and comfortable, rustic but stylish. Would be fantastic for exploring in season. If you are looking for a cabin experience, would definitely recommend.
