Establishment
“Sandy, palm-lined cove beach with a jungle backdrop, boats & palapas selling drinks. A trip to Mismaloya beach is worth your time. It can be crowded in some parts but not so crowded in other areas, water is clean and accessible to all ages. The iconic film "Night of the Iguana" was also filmed there. Just down the beach are several restaurants with very friendly people eager to wait on you. Try the Coco Loco.....a yummy alcoholic beverage served in a coconut. ”

“Ok - the picture uploaded by AirBnb is strange -- ignore it and enjoy this great beach. You can get to Mismaloya by driving about 5 - 7 minutes south down the main coastal road in front of the villas (head left down the road out of the villas) and when you get to the Barcelo Resort - take the road that runs alongside the southern wall of the resort, and park and walk past the rustic shops and restaurants to the beach. You will find lots of cute beach side restaurants to serve you food and a fun beach to spend an afternoon. This beach is a good place to negotiate for a panga (fishing boat) to take you to Los Animas or Yelapa - with snorkeling on the way! Bring cash and be ready to negotiate a bit and a wonderful day will be in store.”
