Brooklyn is home away from home. Charlie and his wife are amazing. Rooms are comfortable. All required amenities are easily accessible. Internet connection very good.

The place is very comfortable, Charlie and Cecil are very agradable and made me feel very welcome. I found the fire in the living room particularly nice.

I have stayed in Brooklyn Blue four times for professional trips. The location is great for Swansea University. The town centre is nearby so can drive quickly or walk if you prefer. The room is spacious and the bathroom is right next to eat. It is peaceful and quite there. I love the clean air and the smell of forest. Very nice experience and would highly recommend it.

I had a lovely experience staying here. Lovely friendly people who are very welcoming. They have their own chickens and I even chose my own freshly laid eggs for breakfast! The house is around 400m up a beautiful rural lane heading out of the town. It was quiet and beautiful and there was a walking access route up the side of an old stone disused railway bridge where I walked up and in to town avoiding any traffic... Just beautiful! Trees and river runing close bye. So, location fantastic. My room was clean with fresh clean sheets on it. The room was clean and tidy and vacuumed as I arrived. Bathroom was also clean and towels, shampoo etc provided- what more can I say? Add the welcoming relaxed manner of both Charlie and Cecile and you have a winner here. I definitely would return if they'd have me

This was a lovely house, up a narrow road. The room was nice, good space, and a comfortable bed. They have chickens and ducks in the garden! and I got to have very nice eggs. A very nice friendly couple who gave me some great information about the local area.

Charlie and Cecile are not only a great welcoming host but also a great couple. Watching the Chickens and Ducks in garden in a relax time after work was awesome. The neighbourhood is friendly and in beautiful nature. I have been there for 1.5 month and always felt welcomed. The rooms are neat and clean as shown in the pictures. If you like to be in nature and with friendly guest I will highly recommend Brooklyn.

This was our first time using this site we wasn't sure what to expect sharing someone's else's home but we were pleasantly surprised because our hosts Charlie and Cecile are a great and friendly couple that couldn't do enough for us with a great breakfast quite location good internet warm and clean home and we would be very happy to recommend them and their home to our friends and family.

Charlie and Cecile went out of their way to make me feel welcome after a long and tiring drive and I really enjoyed chatting to them. I had a very comfortable night's sleep and would happily stay here again if I was in the area. It was also great value.

We had a pleasant stay in the Blue Room (mix up, easily sorted!). We didn't end up exploring as we were part way through a long journey and just wanted to relax. Charlie was helpful and welcoming and we felt very accommodated. Beautiful area, perfect for adventuring.

We stayed with Charlie and Cecile for two nights while visiting Swansea for a wedding. Giving the busy nature of our weekend, it was great to have hosts who were laid-back and happy for us to come and go as we pleased. They are such a lovely couple and we really enjoyed chatting with them over the delicious breakfast that they (and their chickens) provided. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable (amazing mattress) and we had the bathroom to ourselves as no-one was staying in their other spare room. On the Sunday morning we had a little more time to relax and chat with Charlie and Cecile, and they kindly showed us around the garden, introducing us to the chickens, ducks, cat and bees! They have created such a nice, relaxing and content atmosphere in their home and we felt welcome and comfortable the whole time. We strongly recommend this airbnb to others and we plan to stay again when visiting Swansea.

I had a very nice stay at Charlie and Cecile´s house. They were great to talk to, kind and very interesting. Wifi´s signal to the room was not great but I´d say everything else was spot on.

Pauline is amazing! She showed me around the house when I got in, which was well maintained and charming. A beautiful house with an equally beautiful garden. The room is a nice bright attic room, well furnished and comfortable. If you haven't lived in an attic before, this is the one to live in! Beautiful wood finishing all around the upper levels of the house. Oh, and Lucy the cat is the icing on the cake! The Uplands, which is the neighourhood around the house, is well laid out with all sorts of shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The park just 5 minutes walk down the road is beautiful in summer, and I am blessed to see it in its fullest beauty while I was there. Pauline knows a lot about the area and is brimming with ideas for walks and things to do, which will help you enjoy what Swansea and the Gower has to offer. She was kind enough to take me out to the Gower peninsula on the day I arrived, and the views were stunning! I had a great time chatting with Pauline when I arrived and she goes out of her way to make you feel at ease. I know that if I return to Swansea, I would absolutely love to stay with her again! Thank you Pauline for making my short stay in Swansea a wonderful one!

I had a great week at Pauline's house. It's a welcoming cosy house and I felt at home straight away. Pauline was very warm and friendly. The attic room was a great size and it was nicely presented. I am a cat person so it was nice to stay with a cat too! The house was very clean, there's lots of utilities and snacks in the house to use which is great.

Room was as shown in the pictures ! The only room on the top floor, thus quiet and lots of privacy ! Bathrooms and kitchen are tidy and clean ! I stay in Alice 's flat for a week on mid of Jan. It's location is exceptionally good. 5 mins walk to Swansea railway station, within 10mins walk to city center for shopping, eating, pub and bar. Alice's flat is a very convenient place for exploring Swansea. I highly recommend it for those who like the city center living.

We never met the host but she was able to sort out our arrive by sending a very helpful guy to show us around. The flat was very nice and had everything you could need. Location was right next to the main bar/club street but was hidden so was quiet and felt safe. Would be nice and warm in the winter, a bit too hot as we stayed there on the hottest days of the year so far, but opening the big patio doors gave a good breeze. Free parking can be a bit tricky but we managed to not pay the three days as I know the area. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Swansea centre.

It's clean, near the railway station and sea. Bathroom and kitchen are well prepared.

My friend and I enjoyed the trip. When we arrived at the house, Mike came to show us how to use key and intruded the house. The room is very big and clean. We can also use the wash machine that is very useful. The tv is so amazing, Netflix is available on it. The most surprising thing was that Mike sent us a box of chocolate and some flowers. Everything is good, except that wifi was a little slow. Anyway, if I go to Swansea next time, I will still choose this house!

We spent 3 days in this lovely studio and we would stay again if we'd need it. The studio is very well situated and equipped, and the host gave us a "sweet little present"... Great stay, the room was bigger than expected, really handy to have the bathroom next door. Clean and tidy. Adrian and Amy were very friendly and helpful. We parked outside. Location was great, lots to see and do. Felt really safe. Had a key to come and go, felt very at home. Very comfy sofa bed.

Adrian is a very friendly and helpful host. My friend and I stayed for a night and even though I messed the booking up and we arrived a day earlier he was flexible and provided the room for us. The room is big and comfy, there are coffee and tea provided and it's clean and calm. The same with the bathroom. Adrian's house is a 15-20 minutes walk to the city centre and safe (if you know how to close the front door properly -- sorry again for that! ^^). We enjoyed our stay in Swansea and would definitely recommend Adrian's BnB!

Although it was a bit difficult for us to find the house (not our hosts' fault - GPS and phones failed !!), we spend two wonderful nights at Adrian and Amy's place. The room was very warm, cosy and clean. The private bathroom is a real plus too !! Adrian provided us all the information we needed. The house is very well located near a vibrant town center with pubs, restaurants and shops. . And Swansea town centre is not so far - 5 min by car. Ideal to visit Gower Peninsula, you're at the beginning ! I would recommend this place without any hesitation.

The house is in a super convenient location - walking distance to the city centre and the railway station. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of cupboard space, and the kitchen is very clean and well equipped. Kara is a great host who communicates well and is keen to make sure you have a great stay.

Beautiful house in arty house area, on top of a hill and at the bottom is Rotherslade beach and a lovely restaurant if you walk to the right, past some green beach huts. It was welcome after a long journey. Caroline gave us very useful information about where to go walking and some lovely biscuits and tea.

We enjoyed our stay. House is in a great location and Caroline made a good recommendation for dinner at a restaurant with amazing views.

We loved staying at Caroline's home, the house itself is incredible and the location is perfect, a short walk to everywhere and the town itself has some lovely pubs, galleries and restaurants, we were spoilt for choice! Caroline and Brian were very welcoming and we would definitely recommend the accommodation.

Caroline was a great host - friendly and helpful. The outdoor space by the pool was lovely and we were able to sit out in the sunshine. We also appreciated the arrangements for our en suite room, which gave us quiet and privacy. All of this made for a lovely, relaxed stay. The house is well situated in a quiet residential area but only minutes from both sea and shops. It was a great base for visiting Mumbles and exploring the Gower peninsula.

Caroline gave us a very warm welcome with a hot drink and lovely cookies. There was also a great stash of food in the room, like bananas and welsh cakes - much appreciated! The room was really comfortable and private, with a direct entrance from the lobby. The area was great - very peaceful and just a short drive from the beach where we found some delightful places to eat. Caroline's artistic eye made this a beautiful and unique place to stay - anyone who has enjoyed Grand Designs will appreciated the superb architecture and the way Caroline's interior design complements and enhances this.

Backing right onto the prom, with fabulous views over Swansea Bay, the annexe is a brilliant place to base yourself. You can walk to Mumbles with all its great restaurants, bars and shops and with a car you're at the gateway to the Gower and all its wonderful beaches and walking. The bedroom is very comfortable with fantastic views and an enclosed balcony, perfect for sitting out on with a cup of tea, watching the world and the sea. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The downstairs room doesn't have the view and is more functional, but works. And there is a lovely piano!

This is a nice place to stay at and they are two lovely , helpful hosts. Mumbles is a good spot, and it's easy enough to get to Swansea. Based on our experience I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

David gave us a warm welcome and showed us round. All info and facilities we needed were there along with lots of extra nice touches. Great location for exploring Gower and close to restaurants, shops etc.

We really enjoyed our stay at David and Jean's place. It was clean and well presented, had the weather been on our side I'm sure we would have made more use of the garden. David kept in touch by email throughout our stay,checking everything was ok for us. Fab location on the front with a good choice of pubs nearby. One small complaint, could do with a cooker or just a small hob, we do like to make our own breakfast/lunch. However we did manage with the microwave provided. On the plus side, super comfy bed and great shower room. We would definitely stay again. Also the dog loved it

I would definitely recommend this place. When I first entered Sandpiper Guest House, two very chatty, helpful and friendly gentlemen welcomed me - Charlie and Paul. I got the wi-fi code straight away, then got tour of the guest house and my room. The bed was super comfortable, there was coffee and tea, shampoo & gel, towels, TV I didn't use. The room was very clean. As well as shared shower and toilet. Just across the street, there is a beautiful sandy beach. The coach station is 5 min walk away, railway station 10 min. The guest house's neighborhood is calm, but there is a busy road next to it. I definitely liked it a lot.

Overall, everything is good, close to the beach, nice price and friendly staff

Truong was an excellent host helping me check in. As I did not opt for the breakfast and was out most of the day, my interactions were limited but everything was fine. The building is located across the street from the beach and a 5-10min walk from the bus station and city center. Definitely visit the Swansea. Mumbles is a longer jaunt, but the walk can be made in am hour along the bike path. If you head out there, Verdi's has excellent ice cream Overall, this was a great place to stay while out and about experiencing what Swansea had to offer.

Perfect flat for someone in their own or a couple! Had everything I needed.

Sharon was incredibly accommodating with my time of arrival that kept changing due to bad traffic on the motorway. I was welcomed to use the kitchen and all things. The bedroom I stayed in had very comfortable and big bed so I had a good rest. We had a good chat with Sharon but equally lots of privacy . if you are lucky you may see Sharon's cat too. The flat is close to the city centre and has off street parking which was a massive bonus for me.

Sharon is a very warm and welcoming person. She gets the balance of making you feel very welcomed along with giving you your own space spot on. She was very generous offering to pick us up from local public transport station, which we declined as we were driving, but what a kind gesture. Plenty of parking as described and flat is in a very good location, central to everything.

The flat had everything I needed, only a studio, so compact, but roomy enough not to feel too cramped. Ideal location being in the centre and was easy to get to anywhere. Felt safe and secure with being on my own and would certainly stay there again if I visit Swansea.

I spent the weekend here for my first time in Swansea and it was perfect. Clean, larger than anticipated, excellent location, and really good value.

Upon arriving we were earlier than expected but this was accommodated and keys were dropped to us. The apartment was fantastic value for money, very central, close to all the shops restaurants and bars and in itself the place was warm, modern, purpose built and therefore the layout made sense and all needs were catered for. Would absolutely recommend to anyone else and would stay again.
