A very nice apartment to stay. Nice staff at the reception and very nice that you can rent bikes to spots. The bus to the boat sails very close. The apartment was very clean, has a nice bed and is spacious. There is everything to cook, but bring your own oil and herbs if you really want to work. We recommend this fine place to definitely another!

We have greatly enjoyed the nicely decorated, spacious and clean apartment. Everything you need is in! The beds are very comfortable and the people at the front desk friendly and helpful. Really nice and quiet apartment with upmarket furniture and plenty of space. Very clean, modern bath room - everything was in a really good shape. Both me and my son liked it a lot (he especially did like the multi colour LED strip light at the window front).

Der Urlaub war wirklich sehr schön. Die Kontaktaufnahme gestaltete sich als sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang durch den man in die hübsch und modern eingerichtete Ferienwohnung gelangt. Es fehlt an nichts und es wurde an alles gedacht zb. an Kerzen und genügend Handtücher um die Whirlpoolwanne und die Sauna ausgiebig zu nutzen. Im Außenbereich befinden sich 1 Tisch und 4 Stühle. Direkt angrenzend befindet sich der auf den Bildern zu sehende Kinderspielplatz. Rund um ein schönes Appartement in dem man problemlos zu 4. oder zu 5.( 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, 1 Baby) verweilen kann.

The accommodation is situated in a quiet neighborhood of small houses, close to the supermarket and 3 minutes from the center of Nes is a small village absolutely charming.

The apartment is well equipped and was very clean. We felt comfortable, the sauna is great, the beach is not far away.

Thank you very much. The accommodation was very nice, we (2 teenagers and their parents) have us felt very comfortable there. The house is easily accessible from the ferry on foot from the beach and the center of Nes are walking also within easy reach. For questions, the hosts can easily be reached, otherwise there was little contact.

The apartment was all expected and more. We stayed two couples, a little girl and a small dog. The two bedrooms are spacious enough, although the inconvenience is that the private shower is allocated in one of the bedrooms and has no doors. The groud floor is recently renewed with a cozy living area, enough for 4 people. Antje was very kind and attentive to our needs. We had a great end and start of year.

The house was very clean and very close to everything! It was perfect for four! But probably best for a family, as the bathroom has no door and can't be closed. We really had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely time at the Vollenhovense barge. Theodore was a great host, attentive and very helpful. An absolute must for anyone who Ameland (or the other Wadden islands) even want to see from a different angle.

Delicious had three days with my father "Lutje Wad". The boat is complete, with handy details, cozy, snug and comfortable. For sailors who have more experience on cutting yachts with a keel this is a great way to get acquainted with sailing barge. Full Hovens Globe sailing like a charm. The swords are working well and the slightly thickened keel sail them too well to the wind. Dry Falls is comfortable because it is straight. Anchoring required some force to save the paint on the boat. Theo (the owner), the anchoring system will change this winter, he said. In short, a top ship is in a place where you as a sailor would be right!

Really great fun experience for ten days in such a good shape Vollenhovense globe spend :-) both for the 'water camper "as the experienced sailor. Theo called us warmly and also weekday evenings away. Theo himself is a fine sailor, and thinks about the particular circumstances on the flats in terms of high and low water flow, channels etc ... We had a great time on the barge Theodoor. The boat marina and have all the amenities to stay, and the marina is within walking distance of the charming village of Nes and the supermarket. We really enjoyed our day sail on the flats with Theodoor as schippper and anyone recommend this location!

We had an excellent weekend in Nes and on Theo's boat. He took us out on an afternoon of sailing and both of us enjoyed it greatly. Theo is a very patient and knowledgeable captain. The boat was very comfortable and easily fit us for our two days and nights. Would heartily recommend if you want a mini adventure in Ameland

This was my first visit to the island, has made my visit very enjoyable by the warm welcome and hospitality of Anita, because the house is standing on the edge of the village is a lovely and peaceful place. Vacation for feeling well

Mooe, quiet place on the outskirts of the village. The accommodation is simple, but it exactly as specified. Can not use the kitchen, I found myself a bit tricky but eating is fine, it's the holidays. Anita is spontaneous, hospitable and helpful, and her mother who knows how to cook perfect eggs. Excellent place for a few nights.

The room was simple, exactly as described in the advertisement, communication beforehand and the reception were very warm, I felt completely welcome. It is there to enjoy the tranquility, perfectly cooked fresh breeze, the friendliness. Neighbors is anyway a perfect base to see the whole island, beautiful in the middle. I like to come again!

Anita was really nice and caring. She was interested in us and did everything to feel us welcome, we even got eggs for breakfast :) The room was as described and the bathroom clean. We would stay there again anytime!

The room had a great view with terrace and we ate a delicious eggs from their own chickens! In the room you could put a cup of coffee or tea, there was a kettle and Senseo. We have had a great time and would definitely recommend the room.

We have Christmas here, had a great time giant by offering the bungalow comfort, attentive hostess we already preheated home upon arrival. Christmas atmosphere she had created. We had wonderful days with all the comforts that were there. At Christmas the house was once decorated for Christmas. And then the fine communication, information and flexibility of the hostess. Location with a private backyard with privacy and space to be allocated for 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Kitchen is complete so that you can cook as you are used to at home.

The accommodation was as described, very modern and nicely decorated and clean. Price / performance ratio was perfect. Agreements with Jacobina have worked very well, she has always responded very quickly. Gladly again!

We were for the first time on Ameland and have equal felt very comfortable in Alberts apartment. It is bright, friendly and very nice furnishings. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the countryside and it turns equal to rest and a holiday feeling. The settlement was easy and straightforward, Albert immediately replied to each mail and informed very accurately about everything worth knowing and given good advice. Although we were only four days since, the long drive was a good idea. We would not hesitate to book it again.

The apartment and its location have enjoyed it very much and can not therefore safely recommend. We were able to relax and feel good. Everything was as described and quickly. We were greeted with a small and meaningful welcome pack. The environment was peaceful and idyllic. The floor and the kitchen appliances have, in our opinion, have been cleaner.

We had some great days on Ameland and Alberts Apartment has definitely helped. For four people the place was totally sufficient, especially the line between bathroom and toilet, a large bed and the great terrace with a large lawn were great. The apartment is very quiet, but you're on a bicycle very fast in Buren and Nes in or on the beach. For small problems Albert was always available to us.

Albert's place on Ameland is absolutely amazing, we had a great time there! The apartment is ideally located to make long walks at the beach or to bike to the west or the east end of the island. The apartment itself is a beautiful vacation house, with comfy beds, a well - equipped kitchen, a nice living room and a terrace to the south with a nice view on the green fields. We stayed with our family (children 2 months and 4 years) in a two bedroom apartment. Small but well equipped and smart. The sliding doors open and our daughter could play on the grass with playground and trampoline. Walking to Nes and the beach is fine to do. Very friendly staff.

It was a fine place for 4 people. We have participated in the walk. This place is pretty central and Nes and reach the boat are running fine. We were kindly received and noted us the opportunity to take it at breakfast, so we did not have more messages to retrieve. It was especially nice that our bags could still remain in the daytime. All in all we had a lot of fun and would definitely come can come back.

A lovely few days in a beautiful summer home nestled in amongst the dunes just a few minutes by bike from the beach and the small town of Nes. Simple but stylish decor and every home comfort for a relaxing family holiday. Two sundecks mean you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun and soak up the evening sun while you BBQ. A nice surprise to find bikes at the house ready to use as soon as we arrived. 5 mins by bike you have all the shops you can need and plenty of good restaurants and cafes to enjoy an evening meal out if you don't feel like cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. A home from home. A wonderful peaceful haven to relax and unwind.

This house is truly one of a kind. The photos do not fully do justice to the spacious rooms, open floor plan and cathedral ceilings. It has a rustic yet industrial interior design. Nestled in the dunes, it is a short walk to the beach and the center of Nes. House is equipped with everything you need for a holiday including bikes, washer/dryer, a huge multi faucet shower and more. It has history. It was initially built by hand for four generations ago and later rebuilt by the family. It is obvious that generations of love have gone into this property. Host is friendly and responsive. It is not the cheapest rental but well worth it. Easily 5 stars.

We had a fantastic stay in the house Zomerlust! The house is located outside of the small town Nes in a beautiful environment. It's a short bike ride into town (bikes are provided) and a short walk through the dunes to the beach. There is nothing missing in the house, we felt like home, from the espresso machine, iPhone Stereo, excellent and well equipped kitchen and super comfortable beds. The house offers every comfort and has two private outside sitting areas in the garden (choose your spot depending on the wind direction...) Jurjen, our host, was great in getting back to us and got the WLAN fixed straight away after the router broke. Thanks for having us!

This is a beautiful place to stay! We celebrated my in-laws 50th anniversary with immediate family over a long weekend, and we were all overwhelmed by how perfect Jurjen's place was for our trip. The home is both cozy and modern, in all the right ways. (My husband took notes on every detail and now hopes to build something similar someday). Every day we walked to the beach and it was easy to get to Nes too. The bikes were a huge help! It was easy to take the bus to/from the ferry; the shower is great; kitchen supplies and games were abundant. I cannot recommend this special place more highly. Thank you, Jurjen and family!

Neat and clean, more than completely flat. Not in any previous holiday we had access to a bath, dishwasher and washing machine (although we did not use the last two). Communication with landlord went very fast and nice / nice. Bicycle and bus stop within walking distance. We enjoyed!!

Great place, great host, great island

Saakje and Sjaak were waiting outside on us because we could not easily find the address. It was in the newest district of Nes. Fortunately Nes is not so great. It was nice that we had a private entrance. Everything was pretty new and clean. Quite luxurious. It would have been nice if for example some shampoo and had been a little more tea. Because we as Wadlopers can not take that stuff. Saakje was very welcoming and helpful. We could buy knitted socks with her. That's a nice souvenir for those at home.

We had a very nice stay on Ameland. The room is very nice and cozy furnishings. Just as the bathroom. Saakje and Kees are really nice and attentive. We would definitely come. A refrigerator, microwave and utensils are provided and are always cleaned by the hostess. We had the whole floor and the bathroom to ourselves. We also got very good advice from the hosts, where we can eat. The property is also very central.

The location <5 minute walk from the center of Nes was ideal as a base to explore Ameland, both on foot / by bicycle / OV. We have had a wonderful holiday!

Great location on Ameland, really close to the beach and camp ground is right on the bus route. Caravan had a large living room area with lots of windows, which was great when the weather was a little rainy.

The caravan was cleaned up in the kitchen was all you need available. The shower was broken, but you could use the not distant shower Outhouse. These were very well maintained. We were quite happy with our stay.
