Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Turløyper rett utenfor døra. Leiligheten er i vertens bolig, og befinner seg på 1. etasje. Verten bor selv i øveretasjen. Skiers and hikers! Ta på ski og gå rett på fjellet,eller gå ned til havet og prøv fiskelykken. mange fine ski og vandreturer i nærheten. Storgalten som er et populæt ski og turfjell ligger i nærområdet. Russelv fjellet kan man gå til direkte fra hytta.matbutikk 8 km unna, restauranter 4 km unna. fint og sitte ute rundt bålpannen på plattingen og se på nordlyset eller grille.

Cabin on beautiful Skulgam

Create lifelong memories in this unique and family-friendly place. Skulgam is about 30 min drive from Tromsø city center which has a good selection of shops and cafes. The place has a rich wildlife with good hunting and fishing opportunities. In winter there are good opportunities to discover the northern lights. The area also has great mountains for mountain hikes and ski trips from the cabin.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
