We had a lovely time staying with Angela and Andy for three nights. Couldn't imagine a more perfect setup. Our private room and attached bathroom were super-comfortable. Everything about the room was top- notch, and they made us feel so welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed spending a bit of time getting to know them. Angela made sure we had a nice breakfast every morning, which was unexpected. If you are new to the area, they also have great recommendations on where to go. This was our 2nd airbnb and the only bad thing is that we are now spoiled. Thank you for you for making our mini vacation so pleasant!

Angela and Andy were wonderful hosts at their exquisite home in a beautiful neighborhood! Very private and quiet room… a comfortable bed… and a delicious Continental breakfast every morning. I really enjoyed the 3.8 mile running trail (a.k.a. loop road) through the finely manicured neighborhood! A runner's dream! Thanks for everything! I’ll certainly be back when I am in the area!

Angela and Andy were fantastisch hosts! The house was fabuleus! Just as described. Angela and Andy are so kind and giving us the Wright spots to visit, to eat,... we will definitly come and stay with them again!

Angela met us at the door. She is a "people person" and instantly made us feel at home. She introduced us to her husband Andy and we sat in their living room and chatted about life in general for several minutes. The listing does not begin to describe how beautiful their home is or how well suited it is to host guests. The living area divides the master bedroom and the other two giving privacy to both host and guest . The bedroom we were given also had a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. We were invited to use the living room, kitchen, lanai (with pool). We were treated to tea and coffee in the morning as well as bagels, toast and fruit. They were also quite helpful in helping us find points of interest and eateries in the area, and were interested in our observations as well. Overall they are wonderful hosts who live in a gorgeous home in a safe upscale community.

Angela and her husband were great hosts. They made sure my husband and I had everything we could need, from orange juice and coffee to a nice hot shower. The location was just perfect for us, attended a wedding at the country club, and the house was very clean. I highly recommend this place.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood. Exactly what we were looking for our Florida holiday. Alan took excellent care of us and we were able to use the house as it was in the description. The view of the lake was very nice. We would come back, but Florida and Germany are unfortunately not next to each other :-)

We were very excited to find a good price on a entire home because we normally pay up to $300 per night and rent homes 4-5 times per year. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with however upon arrival we discovered the house was very dirty and had to spend 3 hours cleaning to even feel comfortable to unpack. We didn't buy groceries or cook the entire 4 days because the kitchen and appliances were very unclean and it just left us with a bad feeling in our stomachs. My daughter and her guest slept on the couches instead of their bedrooms because of the stains on the carpets and linens. The house itself is beautiful but the cleanliness was far below our lifestyle. i trued very hard to keep a positive attitude but if this had been a rental through a management company I would have insisted on a refund. If you don't mind cleaning the home yourself then this is a great price in a nice community. The pool perfect!

My sister & I loved our stay in Alan's home! The home is spacious & extremely comfortable. The movie channels were awesome as we decided to slow down our busy lives & just vege for a day & watch movies. Our neice enjoyed the beautiful pool. Many restarants close by. Overall the home, amenities & location were perfect!!

Although we were only able to make a brief visit, we had a wonderful stay at Alan’s home. The location was perfect for us. His home is in a safe quiet community with nearby amenities. After traveling all day the beds were so very comfortable. The master suite is elegant. The kitchen was perfect. The beautiful leather couches were like sitting on clouds. We also enjoyed watching TV, as we were so exhausted from our travel and family event. We enjoyed walking through Alan’s peaceful and lovely neighborhood. It includes a community center complete with a large pool and playground for children. We were delighted to discover walking trails and the nearby park of Fort Hamer. I hope to return to Alan’s home someday, it was clean, comfortable and perfect!

My entire review could be solely about how fabulous these hosts are. If they had owned a shack I would have been happy to stay just to have met them. But quite the contrary, this is a showcase home in every sense of the word that matches the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. This listing was so perfect for me. I needed a quiet place to get away from the cold of winter and focus on a project while basking in the warmth of the Sunshine State of Florida. Upon entering the home, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the private space, just for me. The living/dining and foyer areas are twice as large as the photos seemed. There are flat screen TVs in both the livingroom AND the bedroom. I also created my own designated space that was decorated so tastefully to inspire my daily morning yoga practice. There is a soothing color scheme and furniture throughout the entire space that looks brand new, from the large glass top dining set to the lovely color coordinated couches, drapes & area carpet, to the substantial wooden bedroom set. Every night I went to sleep feeling like a queen. The bathroom is well appointed and also looks newly renovated. Every inch of this space is immaculate. The shared kitchen is huge and fully stocked with quality dishes, cookware, utensils, a chef's dream. There's lots of countertop space with an island, stainless steel appliances, ample cabinet & refrigerator space designated just for guests. Mornings started off right with a clean, organized kitchen coffee service cart set up with a Kurig and a teapot. I honestly cannot think of anything that they have not covered to make my stay more comfortable. There are several other bonus features to the house that I won't mention. I guess I was a "good guest" lol, so they made these spaces available to me. I recommend this listing 100% for both business travelers and vacationers looking for a location that is residential AND central to everything.

I stayed at this Airbnb for nearly 5 weeks while transitioning jobs. Ron and Athena were wonderful hosts and very welcoming. They were friendly and always available via text, or in person to address any concerns. They provided designated space within the cabinets and refrigerator/freezer and the entire kitchen was set up for cooking if the guest desires. Several times Ron and Athena invited me to share meals with them. A notebook with brochures and descriptions of area attractions was provided. The guest area was spacious and very clean, and privacy screens provided a nice division between the two areas of the house. The space is very accurately depicted in the Airbnb photos. I would definitely stay at this Airbnb again

Back for a second visit. This was as good an experience as the first one. Cheryl is a good host and the room is quiet and comfortable. This time we did explore a few restaurants nearby, which was rewarding.

Cheryl ' s hospitality is one of a kind. We enjoyed our stay and her company. Getting to know her dog Thor was great. Her cooking breakfast for us was a real treat as well. Thanks Cheryl. We will definitely stay with her anytime we have a chance to come back to Florida.

Cheryl was a very accommodating host, who went out of her way to respond to my particular needs, such as my wife's very late arrival time and the temporary storage of my boat. She also provided wonderful breakfasts. The house is in a very quiet location, although shops and restaurants are not that far away. My room was attractive, with a very comfortable bed and its own bathroom. I highly recommend this site and would certainly return to it.

Cheryl is a great host, easy to talk with and very hospitable. The room and bed are comfortable. Her big dog Thor is friendly and fun to play with. The location is distant (45 min) from Sarasota and Tampa, and I liked being away from the congested areas. Cheryl's breakfasts were wonderful!!!

The hostess has a lovely home in a great area. She also has very nice roommates. This booking did not work out for us, however, we wish her the best in her future endeavors.

Five star!!! This home is beautiful and our stay was an amazing experience. The space is completely separate from the main residence. With your own entrance and complete privacy this is the ultimate Casita. Linda & Jon are lovely hosts and are onsite and readily available if needed. The attention to detail is evident as soon as you enter the space. A welcome basket of snacks and a tasty Shiraz was a pleasant surprise that did not go to waste. The spa like bathroom was stocked with everything we could possibly need. We loved having breakfast and an after dinner drink on the balcony. Even though the commute to the beach took longer than we would have liked, staying in this beautiful Casita made the drive worth it. Not only do we recommend this space, we hope to return for another visit ourselves.

We can't say enough positive things about this place. The home is as beautiful as the pictures, maybe even more so. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and every possible amenity was thought of. Seriously if you forgot an item you wouldn't need to run to the store. Jon & Linda are the best. They are the most gracious hosts. They are incredibly available while offering complete privacy at the same time. We had a little cook out on the grill. They provided everything but the burgers! The outdoor space is beautiful also. We highly recommend booking with Jon & Linda.

Beautiful, spacious and quiet. We spent 6 nights very comfortably. The house and neighborhood are top notch. I would describe the accommodations as an in-law apartment; completely separate entrance. Large living room/kitchen with balcony, king size comfortable bed and attached private bath with shower. We met our host in the yard a few times and had nice talks. We enjoyed kayaking in the river behind the house. Lots of birds to watch. And, completely quiet. A nice neighborhood for walking. We could not be happier. We hope to return.

This house is amazing. The pictures are spot on and the pool and attached game room house were used all the time by our crew. Kayaking was fun and we did adventuring everyday on those, even saw a few gators! House is close to Publix and a liquor store so making booze/food runs was quite simple. Kitchen was well stocked for making large meals for our crew. We will definitely use this house again in the future for big celebrations.

Fantastic home and host. Our family talked about all the good things on the drive back to the airport - great pool and lounging space, hot tub, hammocks, plenty of bedrooms, TVs, separate game room with ping pong and old school arcade game, loads of games, kayaks, movie theatre with hundreds of DVDs to watch on big recliners, Don's communication, the quiet back waters, and proximity to things to do. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. We didn't get to go to DeSoto for a car race or to the local brewery but will on the next stay. This is a more expensive rental but it's worth it. If you have a family or a lot of friends and want a place with plenty of space, and all the amenities, this is the place. If you're really good, Don will show you the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine!

This is a beautiful and fun house. We used it for a team building event with 8 coworkers and we had an amazing time. Very clean, comfortable and super entertaining. I would highly recommend this house to any trying to have a nice get away with a large group. We were pleased to find an Airbnb rental in the Colony Cove area. The place was clean, and the many amenities made it very comfortable. This rental is quite roomy, and the location was perfect for visiting our relatives in the area. Cheryl was quick to respond to our messages during our stay. We are hoping to return to this rental in the future.

Staying with Juan was one of the best experiences we've had with AirBNB. The place was super comfortable in a great location, not to mention at a great price. We seriously felt like we were home, it was ultimately the perfect spot to relax but also to get some work done. Juan is super friendly and laidback, he made us feel at home right away, pretty much everything was flawless. He let us use his garage for some extra storage and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. 5++++ stars all around, would highly recommend!

Right when you pull in he drive way it was a welcoming feeling like no other . He opens his doors as if your apart of his family and that's what caught my attention . Juan was very helpful and anytime I needed some help finding a place or even if I had a question he was there to help . The house itself is beautiful and clean . From the very first question before booking to the last time I needed anything Darina was there to answer. She was a lovely host and her home is beautiful. Very safe, clean and the perfect escape. Great shopping is within driving distance. Perfect for couples or families.

Darina's home was extremely spacious and we felt very relaxed and comfortable. It was in a quiet community with access to alot of things to do. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the convenience of staying in a home with all the amenities of our own home. Darina was very prompt responding to our questions and her property manager was on hand for whatever we needed during our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again. It is a short drive to find restaurants or grocery stores but we love AirBNB because we want to stay in a home where we can cook and relax. Kitchen was adequately stocked with everything we needed. Short 30 minute drive to Sarasota where our business was and where we enjoyed Lido Beach. Spacious for a family or couples to share!

We loved that Colleen's place is in a gated golf course community, but still easily accessible to Rt 75. Every day was an outing to places like Siesta Key Beach, St Armands Circle, Bradenton Riverwalk & historic downtown for lunch/dinner, nearby towns like Venice, Ringling Museum, University Mall, Fruitville Amish/Mennonite area, numerous farmers markets and art, craft fairs. It's a quick drive to Tampa or St Pete and airports. The community golf course, Waterlefe, is beautiful and challenging, and less than a 5 minute ride from Colleen's house. Publix, CVS, Walgreens, McDonalds and other shops and restaurants are 5-10 minutes away, but in a nice open-space area, with cattle ranches along the way. You would be hard pressed to find anything negative about staying here.

Colleen’s place is very clean and in a nice upscale golf community. You have your own private bathroom next to the room and access to a large kitchen. Publix, Walgreens, McDonalds and other shops are a short drive away. It is a very safe area and they are very accommodating people. It was a good stay.

This was my first Air B&B experience. It simply could not have been any better! Colleen or hostess was excellent. The whole home is beautiful and secure in a gated community. There is really nothing I could say that needs Improvement. Our stay was wonderful, thank you Colleen and Steve.

Colleen's place was perfect for our needs. We went to Bradenton for the NCAA DII T&F Championships and Colleen's place was just the perfect distance to venue, beaches, and comfort. Colleen has traveled the world and she's got plenty of education to amaze you. And, oh, the continental breakfast were YUM!

Steve And Colleen were outstanding to us. If I was going change anything I would stay longer. They care that we were happy and ready do more if needed. Morning breakfast was great. Had a smile on their faces all the time, great caring people. House is very nices.

Perfect location for our visit to see family in the Lakewood Ranch & South Tampa areas. Very comfortable space for 4 adults and 1 toddler. Pool is close walking distance and playground is a little over a mile away. Publix is close by as well, so it was easy to buy groceries and cook at the condo.
