When starting the year at any Small gardens can only go well. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very pleasant and the large garden of Emmanuel and his wife are lovely, crossed by a small river. To redo the summer. Very warm welcome, especially as we were a bit lost in the village, our hostess came to our rescue and departure as well :) puisqu'Emmanuel showed us around the place with all the explanations about the history of the great , the laundry, the farm. In short a very good we in Le Breuil we recommend.

We were extremely well received when we arrived. Housing is simply superb with a sometimes surprising decoration but very well thought, art and the way to revive the old! Everything is made to be comfortable with either, and it is rather very well. It was a pleasure to spend this time "cocoon" for calm and close to nature. Thank you for the sympathy of Emmanuel, it's nice to see people simply share. "The small gardens" are our favorites now!

Very welcoming, we were expected when we arrived and we felt that everything was done for us pass a pleasant stay (in the reception and preparation of the housing). Housing totally corresponded to what we expected and more because everything necessary is really provided, it is also larger than expected !! As we drove through many Normandy during our stay, it was really nice to be quiet at night and fall asleep to the sound of the stream! Really perfect and we are very happy we chose this location! perfect stay, no complaints :)

We spent New Year fatastico guests in Le Lavoir. The Emmanuel house is just magical: quiet, just a short drive from supermarkets, small and large cities, and smacks of home, away from home. We used it as a starting point for visiting the Normadia, the Dday beaches, Rouen, Honfleur, Le Mont Saint Michel. Thanks Emmanuel, will definitely be back, maybe in Spring;) a bientot! We enjoyed a lovely stay at Les Petits Jardins. From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm welcome - first by Emmanuel, and then by his parents, who couldn't do enough to make our visit memorable. Both the hosts and the cottage were full of character! As another reviewer has said, the photos do not do the place justice. The grounds themselves were the first thing that impressed us. The buildings, to the rear of Emmanuel's beautiful family home, are surrounded on all sides by nature, from babbling brooks, ponds replete with pet carp (not to be pursued by aspiring fishermen!), idyllic gardens with plum and apple orchards, BBQ area, and a few friendly local frogs. The stars at night were spectacular. The accommodation itself was a real treat - the building has been lovingly restored by three generations of the Labaisse family, with its ultra-cool and creative interior decor giving the place a very luxurious and funky feeling. Not the kind of interior decor you might expect from a French farmer, but everything here was a pleasant surprise. The location is great - in the quite countryside hamlet of Le Breuil, but a very short drive from some very interesting chateaux and towns of Falaise (with its superb swimming pool and heritage dating back to William the Conqueror) and St. Pierre des Dives (with its canoeing / kayaking and markets). Great cycling area. But most especially, a tranquil get-away that we look forward to returning to.

We had a perfect and very pleasant stay in the wash of Emmanuel. Everything needed was available to us for a comfortable stay even for our baby (bed, high chair, cloth cover. .. The welcome was warm and the start with a visit of 2 houses and the garden and we were welcomed with cider and came away with kilos of delicious apples from the garden. The laundry is warm, decorated with taste with solid objects or details referring to the story. We stayed 2 days 3 on site so we were well .... One thing is sure, we will return to it more for a change of scenery. We recommend the place, it will please you! Thank you for the discovery and your home, we expect the beautiful days to come back and enjoy your garden!

The house was amazing, fully equiped, lots of toys for the kids, ,much bigger than showen in the pictures, the garden is very larg and full with attractions for the kids and places to sit and relax. The hosts are wonderful people, were very kind and helpful, advicing us with places we can go to. The location is close to lots of atractions.

Very very good stay at the mansion helped by a rather correct and mild weather that allowed us to enjoy the terrace and the beautiful garden (between the ping pong, basketball hoop and swings, are kids loved) As the interior has very good equipment and very spacious place to accommodate 9 people still full of possibilities of occupation and relaxation after our walks in Norman lands (table football, billiards, game companies and wifi access). We had a lovely stay at Manoir de Beaurepaire. The house is comfortable, warm and very well equipped. The house is very well located to discover the Normandy countryside and the sea is not far away. Jean-François was very welcome and a delicious crumble waiting for us on arrival!

We had good contact on the mail and on arrival there was delicious fruit crumble (fruit from the garden) and cider ready. Super! Furthermore, it is amazing that everything is present and in large quantities. Baby chairs, beds, cutlery, glassware, toys, bikes .. Etc. We enjoyed. The house also has a direct site where more photos and details on it.

We had a great weekend in the sun in this great house very well decorated. The children spent their time in the garden, especially on the trampoline, and adults on the terrace to enjoy the cold beer and wine kindly offered by Carolina. An address to recommend for its calm and its equipment.

C as was the Christmas period, we received a small gift under the tree. The owner was very helpful, she left us her phone number and contacted during the stay to make sure everything was okay. Her mom warmly welcomed us. Owl region, the castle at Falaise is to do. The photos are realistic.

We were travelling with friends to the significant Canadian WWII sights in France and this beautiful accommodation is right in the middle of the Canadian liberation route. It was an easy drive to the Normandy Beaches, on our way from visiting Mont St. Michel. The house has been beautifully updated and was very comfortable for our group, two couples, travelling together. Comfy beds, an excellent, fully appointed kitchen, very clean, good Wifi connection and lovely, friendly hosts. What more could you ask for? Great stay in "La Grange". A beautiful house, comfortable, clean and modern and tasteful decoration. Ideal for a stay with friends or family. Martine is very attentive and we did very well received. She even took care to make us available all childcare equipment for our baby. The terrace, the pool, the backyard ... everything is top!

We arrived late but this was no problem, I could text Martine and she replied back immediately so I could keep her updated. This accommodation is in a beautiful peaceful setting, a real escape to the country, set in a lovely village with a fantastic Epicurie and Tabac across the road, perfect for milk and bread. La Grange is a beautiful modern and clean residence perfect for our family of 5. The patio is wonderful and private and the pool area is fantastic. The pool was maintained around 30 degrees and the water was extremely clean. We felt like we were visiting family or friends, Martine and Michel are wonderful hosts and this is a very special place we would love to return to. We travelled from the UK and whilst we were there we visited lots of nearby towns and took the train to Paris for one day from nearby Lisieux, Martine printed off a train timetable for us, I think that shows how as a host they really went above and beyond at all times to accommodate us.

We fancied a quiet and comfortable place looks rustic. Indeed, we had a dream week of the holiday season. The house is very well designed, super comfortable, the place is beautiful and easy to get to visit beautiful sights of Normandy and discover hiking trails where the landscape invites to dream. To this is added the friendliness of the hosts, we had a great welcome: Normandy cider and Santa Claus surprise for my little son. They were very discreet while being there when we needed them. Even the hens gave us eggs for a delicious omelette 'We highly recommend this beautiful place. We will come back, because not far from the Paris region, even WE can be relaxing and rejuvenating.

Ideally located between Falaise and Lisieux, in a small village in the middle of fields, in a completely renovated farmhouse, we were welcomed by Martine, very nice, available, caring, and good advice about the region. We took advantage of a peaceful, warm, well equipped, with a heated pool ideal for children to have fun, whatever the weather. We thank Martine Normand for this little paradise! No flat, perfect location for a family!

Beautiful renovated barn, well appointed and equipped, with space. Ideal for a family (5 people) with its various beds (1 double bed + 2 single beds + 2 extra sleeps smiples). Indoor heated pool, accessible and functional, large enough, with deck chairs, children were able to enjoy (even late April). Small garden with chickens, a donkey and a horse for the enjoyment of children. In summary we spent 3 very pleasant days.

Quelle surprise de découvrir autant de générosité et de convivialité. La chambre est agréable et joliment décorée, le jardin très joli. Nat et son mari Hervé nous ont fait découvrir les lieux, fait faire connaissance avec l'anesse, les moutons, le chiot, les chats ainsi que les poules. Nos petits citadins d'enfants sont repartis avec les oeufs qu'ils sont allés chercher dans le poulailler et nous avons pris le délicieux petit déjeuner à base de produits frais, brioches et confiture maison dans le jardin. Notre séjour chez Jocelyne et Didier a été véritablement excellent. Le cadre est magnifique (petit déjeuner en terrasse dans un oasis de verdure avec une très belle vue sur le Château de Guillaume le Conquérant), les chambres et pièces d'eaux sont spacieuses et très confortables. On ressent immédiatement que Jocelyne et Didier ont à cœur que vous passiez un excellent séjour, Nos enfants de 9 et 7 ans ont adoré tout autant que nous le contact avec nos hôtes. Chaleureux et accueillants ils sont aussi très attentionnés et se font un plaisir de vous renseigner sur la région. Ils sont très disponibles et flexibles pour votre arrivée/départ. En bref nous avons véritablement eu l'impression d'être accueillis chez des amis alors que nous ne nous connaissions pas la veille! Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Nous vous recommandons vivement cette adresse!

Peter and sweats are absolutely charming hosts. They gave us a lot of explanations before we arrived and we were very well received. I rented this cottage to spend Christmas with my family and we were all thrilled! The house is large and comfortable, everyone could find their space (we were 11 adults, 3 children and two babies). The rooms are spacious and comfortable and are equipped with toilets. I can not recommend the hosts and lodging!

The house was magnificient and the welcome charming with a surprise bottle of cider and chocolates on the table waiting for us. The place was ideal for the two day seminar of our 15 people startup. I recommend it to everyone and can only imagine the place being even better as a bed and breakfast.

We had a great time. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and nice touches. This large home is well suited to accommodate several couples or small families. We enjoyed the fireplace and big and small were delighted to be able to play table tennis at the shelter. I recommend !

You would be hard-pressed to find a nicer host than Brigette and Etienne. They were incredibly nice and have a great house for a large family. We had originally intended to stay at their place with my parents and the house would have been perfect for them as my father has limited mobility and the house was really set up perfectly for someone like him. Unfortunately my parents couldn't make it, so it was just my daughter and I in this big, lovely home. We had a great stay. The house is immaculate. The grounds are lovely as well. It was a great place to relax and have a cup of coffee in the morning. The house is in the country, so if you're thinking about renting it make sure you bring supplies because a trip to the market is a hike and things in the area close early. Overall it was pretty convenient to Caen and Bayuex, the Normandy Invasion Museum and Omaha Beach.

Brigitte Potter And Stephen made us feel welcome when we arrived. We were late and they were so nice. They showed us around their beautiful home and made sure we knew all the rules and felt comfortable before leaving. They had bothered to leave all the brochures in English for the surrounding area. They also spent time to tell us about the shops and local markets, which was so helpful. The list was very specific, but I do not think it explains adequately how beautiful the house and garden are. It does not boast enough about absolutle serenity and beauty of the surrounding houses and neighborhood. We went to Normandy to go to Tourist sites, but I just wanted to sit in the garden and enjoy the house and tranquility! We had two families of five and found that we had lots of space. The swing set, fenced garden and makes it ideal for our 3 young children. I highly recommend this house.

We only stayed a weekend but it would be our pleasure reviendriions for a longer stay to enjoy the garden. There are even leaflets to discover the surroundings. I recommend this cottage!

We were very welcomed by the charming owners. The house is very spacious, very pleasant, nothing is missing, there is even prospectus for many activities in the area, toys for children, a ping-pong ... It is large and very well maintained. We came as a family and our children of 2 and 4 years loved the house and the swings ... The village is very quiet, is close to pretty villages of the Auge, not far from the sea: Cabourg, Houlgate, ... A perfect base for enjoying the Normandy!

We are very happy with our stay at the Impasse du Roi weight, in the district of Guibray, Falaise, the city of William the Conqueror, in Calvados, Normandy, France, 14700. Mrs. Massot-Leprince is a very nice lady, a former teacher that helps teachers and teachers to better manage their classes. She lived in this house for several years, and she has created a garden with fruit trees and beautiful flowers. It was a variable time (after all, this is the Normandy) but when it was sunny we have lunch in the garden. She lives near Notre Dame de Guibray, close enough to hear the sound of the church bells dating from the Middle Ages. She gave us generous breakfasts, offering tea, coffee, chocolate, brioche and homemade jams. The smell of brioche rose from the oven, perfuming all floors of the house, with modern colors knew marry the architectural style of an earlier era. There is a fireplace on the ground floor that can heat one side the living room, the other a dining hall with a round table for meals is either to read or write. There are books everywhere in this house. Room very big and bathroom with bath and shower, decorated with large well lit mirrors put us immediately at ease, and it has three rooms available. There was also plenty of room to park without worry about the house. Our host and knows the city and the region, and we were well advised. In the same neighborhood is a 'Carrefour' surrounded by other quality shops including Orange shop I found very useful. The weekly market at Falaise animates the city, and we were able to buy paella and couscous well spiced. Ms. helped us looking cards for our little trips every day. Cliff, with its monuments, museums, castles and attractions for children, located between the beaches and the "Swiss Normandy" offers much to travelers, who are carefully accommodated in this charming home.

Miryam truly opened her home to us and made us feel very comfortable. The ambience was very warm, with light accents of personal art and history. From the windows we could see a beautiful sky and outlines of old French rooftops. There was the real countryside quietness, yet one is only minutes away from the city. For breakfast, homemade brioche and jam greeted us. A lovely moment.

Miryam was a lovely host and the room is in a great house in close walking distance to the centre. I only stayed one night but I would have been happy to have stayed longer. Very easy going. Highly recommended.

The view out of the front of the hosue was so picturesque (of a beautiful old church tower) and the small garden was beautiful.

Must be the best views of Falaise & castle from the terrace above the large garden with table tennis. Safe parking on no through road convenient for the town centre. Great area to explore difficult to find a restaurant in town open on a Sunday evening but normal for Normandy.

Place is nicer then on pictures. Old building but renovated with care and love. Best view in town. Second bedroom had Lego toys for my 6 years old son - he enjoyed. Living room had a working fire place.

Pasal was a wonderful host. He was accommodating and gracious and gave us many tips for getting the most out of the area. He was easy to contact and made sure our visit was pleasant. He even gave us a bottle of his tasty homemade apple cider!

Pascal is a fantastic host and this is a beautiful house in a wonderful location with wonderful views across the water to the old town of Falaise. Highly recommend a visit to the castle where William the Conqueror grew up - clever use of iPads kept our three kids enthralled for hours! The outdoor table tennis table was a big hit with the kids. Only regret was we could only stay two nights :-(

The gite was a great base for our short cycling trip - quiet yet only a short stroll to the cafes and restaurants in Falaise, with a lovely view over the pond to the old city ramparts and gate house, with a patio for breakfasts and lunches outside, and the terraced garden for an evening drink. Small but modern inside, the 2 bedrooms (one a twin) were adequate for 2 couples, and there was a good shower and plenty hot water. If you go there in the winter, there's a wood burning stove. Sophie, who lives opposite, showed us round the house and made us very welcome - and we had fun using our limited French vocabulary!

The house is very nice, with a lawn where you can have meals and admire the view of the old town and the castle where William the Conqueror was born. Unfortunately Pascal doesn't speak much English and we don't speak French at all so due to this miscommunication we didn't understand that towels and laying the bed are provided for additional fee. There was no soap either. All the rest was good. I would recommend this house to those who are not very demanding but want to explore Normandy - the location is completely perfect.
