We stayed two nights in the apartment was bigger than we expected and the value for money is excellent. There is a supermarket in the building opposite. It is away from the center but taking the subway stop nearby was no problem. Recommended

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Joao's flat. It was well furnished and pretty easy to find from the metro station about 5-10 minutes away (by foot). To get downtown, you can take the metro, but my girlfriend and I decided to split Uber's, about 5-10 euro per ride, and it made for a lot easier of a commute to all the great sites. Maybe something to consider if your budget allows it. Joao was easy to get a hold of and answered all the questions we had.

The accommodation is very well equipped in terms of dishes. Bedding is a very good comfort. The apartment is very sunny. It is located opposite a supermarket open 7 days / 7. As against it is tired and is 12 minutes walk from the subway, and then 30 minutes subway ride up "at the station Baixa Chiado. Bring good shoes (they will serve you in any way to Lisbon for the cobbled streets) and that ear plugs that will ensure a good night relaxing quiet (noise due to the unrestrained movement of cars, not because of neighborhood nuisance). the TV was absent during our stay. Overall, we are satisfied.

It was really nice to stay at Maria's place, she's prepared everything for our arrival and the next day we could leave at any time we wanted. The coordinates where missing on airbnb website which was a little bit confusing. The description of the house is fair enough although the house is probably not that much in use and it could be better ventilated.

If we arrived Philipe was so nice and showed us all flat. But hot water doesn't fun work. During the night we got new bottle with gas, but nobody help us with changing. I did myself, but hot water did not work :( The bed could be better.

Although we were not able to meet Maria, we were promptly greeted and showed around the fantastic accommodation. Everything was great in the beautiful town of Belas. Sintra is an absolute gem. Hope to be back soon and many thanks for this.

We did not meet Maria but Pedro was very very helpful showing us around the property & showing us all different places we could visit in Lisbon & Sintra. The apartment was "nice", exactly how it shows in the photos.

Joao is very friendly, available even open and puts you at ease to let you in the house in his absence

Joao is a nightly owl which is a great thing for other owls and party animals! He is also very open-minded, helpful and welcoming, even with the language gap. The only problem is the state of the house which has been abandoned for a little while, but it's also very spacious and beautifully vintage so it's completely understandable. I had the greatest stay, thank you for everything Joao!

Joao is my age and like me with a young spirit. It is not materialistic and gets right to the point. His house is classified by location as a Student overwhelmed but the value, its cool side and safisponibilité make you quickly forget the messy side. It is a great guy !!!!!!

Carla's place has everything that you will need and Carla is a very nice, easygoing and helpful person, (like a mother)...she cooked for me, washed my clothes and even helped me the first day of my traineeship by driving me to my workplace, until i learn all about the bus routes...you wont regret it, by choosing Carla's place, just respect she and her place and you will have a great experience in Lisbon!!!

It will be very hard to describe how amazing was to stay in Carla's house. We just loved it, we stayed for 1 week and for sure it was the best choice ever. Carla is very Sympathetic, extroverted, organized and extremely clean, work hard all day to keep everything perfect and comfortable. If I ever go back to Lisbon there is no doubt we will stay there again. We highly recommend her place... for sure.

Staying at Carla's place was like ..being hosted by mother;) We were welcomed with a great dinner in the evening, we also got nice breakfast in the morning. Carla is very talkative and interesting person. She truly enjoys meeting people. She's also extremely communicative and easy to talk to. The room we got looks like in the pictures, i.e. has very classic design. The bathroom (not visible in the pictures) is also very classic. We slept well. One more thing: Carla tried to help us in an emergency situation very late at night and I appreciate it a lot.

Carla took our wonder, she and her family do everything to make you feel comfortable. The room is spacious, with king bed and a small fridge with complimentary refreshments. Every day you have breakfast ready and you have access to the refrigerator and everything needed for cooking. The area is great for parking and no payment is also due to its location is perfect for visiting Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais ... as it is in the center of them. We've been five days and has been a pleasure, totally recommended :)

Lovely home in a quiet area outside Lisbon. Maria is very friendly and always keen to help with anything. Even buying us fruit when we arrived and putting bread near the door in the morning. Only thing is that the listing says it is in Queijas but it's actually in Carnaxie. We would definitely recommend this place.

Isabel was a wonderful host, she was fast to reply before booking and easy to communicate with. When we arrived we felt as coming home to some family, so well taken care off. There was bread, juice and fruit for us. And during the stay we had lots of great talks with her and her lovely family. The cottage is cute and very lovely decorated. The settings are lovely - we can only recommend this lovely place.

It was amazing to stay in the Isabel's cottage, it was also one of the rare cases when the reality is even better than the photos. We got all possible help and support from the hosts.

I had a very nice stay at Isabel's cottage! It looks like a really traditional place, calm and with nice views! Everyone was very welcoming and nice and I felt like home! It's a pity I couldn't stay longer. I really wish to come back!

We had a lovely time at the cozy cottage. Isabel is a very friendly lady, also David her son was very nice and helpful. We asked Isabel if she could buy a bottle of milk for our two year old boy because of our late arrival, this was no problem. Small things like this make a huge difference, we had a very warm welcome. Parking is in the street 20-30 from the house, very good wifi, and beautiful view at the back. I would recommend this place!

My wife and I were greeted by Isabel and her husband welcomed and shown us immediately the whole property. Also in the apartment we were introduced very detailed and presented to us in the form of a "ToDo" list the highlights of Lisbon and the surrounding area. Also during the stay (even though it was Christmas) we were very well looked after.

Lovely cottage with pretty things, has everything you need and even more, very friendly hosts and their cat, great location on the ground, fast Wi-Fi.

Thiago made us feel at home right away. His easy going and helpful ways match perfectly the house :) . He explained to us everything about the place, how to operate the different amenities (of which are MANY) and showed us where everything was. Cooking in this kitchen is a pleasure, it is full equipped and has all (and more) than you could ever need to create your favorite dishes. If you are planning on having people over, don't fret, there is day to day cuttlery AND a separate dining cuttlery, together with serving dishes. Pots, pans, in all shapes and sizes, serving trays, everything is there. There is a wine cooler for all your Douro tasting (which we really recommend) He remained constantly available ((SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), email, phone and SMS) while being completely unobtrusive (he is there if you need him). He double checked with us before doing the pool maintenance (once a week) to make sure we were not in the house during this time, perfectly adjusting to our schedule. The neighborhood is very quiet, a residential area, please respect this. The pool is simply fantastic and at night, stunning with the lightning. Our kids enjoyed so much swimming at night as well. We do recommend renting a car, it makes life so much easier when going to the beach or the multiple Malls around the house (there are 2 within 6 to 10 minutes drive). Über is also available in Portugal if you prefer that. The very well known Carcacavelos Beach (1000% recommended) is a 10 mins drive away, while Cascais is also about 10 to 15 mins. All in all, while Lisbon, does not come to mind when thinking about European summer destinations, we can surely recommend going there and (EMAIL HIDDEN)ing back to this home after a day sightseeing or at the beach, simply to relax by the pool, or grill something or enjoy a time-out in one of the multiple bathtubs with their indirect lightning... There is no price for that. We had a very early checkout, 6AM, and this also was no problem for him, he showed up perfectly on time, once again proving what a great host he is, putting his guests interests before his. (this was a saturday morning). Thanks Thiago, for making our Summer 2016 holidays memorable ones. We look forward to seeing you again when our travels take us to your corner of the world.

Thiago was a brilliant host. He was on call for us regardless of whatever time we had a query. He made us feel very welcome at all times. Every 3 months i go on a company convention in a different country and book Villa's all over Europe. This Villa and this host have been the best i have experienced for years- absolutely hats off!

We had a very warm welcome and the promise of any help we needed. Everything we wanted was there. A very quiet peaceful house with a beautiful secluded garden and pool. Ideal location for us but without a car it could be less convenient.

Paula's house is ideally located for visiting Lisbon and the surrounding villages (Sintra, Obidos, Peniche ...). The pool was welcome after the hot days of our stay! The house is nice and well kept. Paula is very welcoming. She speaks French perfectly. She took the time to show us around to familiarize ourselves with the main amenities. She remained available for any questions during the stay.
