Linda was a very nice host. She accommodated us even though we were running late. Her instructions for finding the location were perfect. And she could guide us to the best restaurants.

Linda's cabin provided a comfortable clean retreat close to the beach, waterfront cafe and local shops. Linda was there to greet us and provided some drinks and snacks which were welcome after our journey. The WiFi worked well and there was a place to park and a shady garden to sit in. We would happily visit again.

A delightful cosy studio which had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, local shops and cafes. Enjoyed memorable walks on the beach and had a delicious brunch with amazing views to Kapiti Island at the Waterfront cafe. A very relaxing and pleasant stay. Thank you Linda.

A lovely beach house in a fantastic location. It's a real bonus that pets are allowed as we had many wonderful walks on the beach with our little dog. The facilities are very good and Tania was fabulous when it came to communicating and suggesting outings and tips for the local area. It was fantastic being so close to Raumati village and the beach. Great value for money - we would highly recommend this property.

We stayed for two nights at Raewyn's place. She was there to welcome us upon arrival. The heaters were on so the place was lovely and warm. The check in and check out times were very flexible. Raewyn made it clear that she was available if we needed anything, and she also respected our privacy. The bed was very comfortable. The overall layout of the place did not meet our expectations. There is no logical flow or connection between the rooms. Because of space restrictions, the shower has been squeezed into a very small space, away from the main bathroom. Overall, if you want a good place to sleep, then this will meet your needs. If you prefer a bit of space to lounge about, then this may not be the best option.

Raewyn and her partner were very accomodating to us on short notice. The place was well decorated, with a comfortable bed and nice sheets. We'd definitely stay again.

Raewyn's place was well furnished. A bit funky layout but everything you need was there. Wifi wasn't working but she offered her computer as an alternative. Communication was good and the location worked well. Saw an amazing sunset at the beach which was not far by car. Friendly and easy stay.

Unfortunately, the entire apartment had a strong moldy smell. We were quite happy to only stay here one night (and we're not the kind of the people that complain about a lot), especially because we're traveling with a young baby. To put the smell into perspective, our entire clothes and hair smelled like mold after we left the place. The apartment would have been really nice without the smell and the hosts seem genuinely nice but because of the smell we cannot recommend this place.

We booked with Raewyn last minute and we're so glad that we did! The city of Paraparaumu is absolutely beautiful with a great area for restaurants near the beach. Raewyn was an incredible host - greeting us upon arrival, offering suggestions for dining, and being very helpful and welcoming overall! The accommodations were very clean and roomy. The garden in the backyard is lovely with the master room having views right out to the garden. Highly recommend!

A lovely family home that was a joy to stay in and get to know the family and the international students that were also staying there. Great location, close to the beach, shops, cafes and the airport at Paraparaumu.

Shelia and her husband were very kind and helpful. I spent 1 nigh in their house. Room had enough space for one traveler and bed was comfortable. Also, big advantage of that room was bathroom near the room anther name is ensute.

This accommodation is located in so nice environment. You are promised that you will have calm and tranquil night and good sleep. The children are friendly and understand haw to face visitors very well. Moreover, the hosts are open minded and helpful. Thus you will be satisfied staying there!

I had an excellent night's rest at Sheila's place. Due to my travel plans I didn't get to talk to Sheila much, but she seemed a very kind and attentive host. The room was basic but comfortable with a good bed and a private bathroom, which was all I needed. The house is modern and well-appointed and in a good neighbourhood, making my stay with Sheila an all round excellent experience.

A wonderful stay at Frances' place, arrival was straightforward with Frances' clear instructions and we loved sitting in the cosy house looking out over the sea. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook, didn't get a chance to use the bikes and kayaks - but we will next time! Thanks for the wonderful stay - we had such a relaxing time and we will be back! Francis went the extra mile by locating and returning a library book that we left at the bach by mistake.

We have just spent a restful week in this wonderful Bach at Raumati Beach on the North island of New Zealand. It was a great week with every thing we could have wanted at our fingertips. Thank you to our host for allowing us into their home on the Kapiti Coast and it certainly enhanced our love of New Zealand. We were very comfortable and warm enjoying the fact that we could feel at home whilst enjoying the wonderful vista through the large windows. This Bach would be wonderful accommodation for anyone looking for a holiday in this area.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Blue Blau Bleu. The bottle of wine and warm heaters that welcomed us were much appreciated. The house was very clean and inviting. The view of the ocean and Kapiti Island were beautiful, and the proximity to the beach was fantastic. We hope to return one day soon.

It is really a wonderful place to stay, very close to the sea, with direct access to the beach for nice walks. The bach is very convenient and cosy with wonderful views to Kapiti Island and even the South Island of NZ on several days during my stay. The kitchen contained everything you need for cooking and even a bottle of wine and some fruits have been there as a nice welcome gift. The first floor room is extraordinary and even with bad weather conditions you can feel fine there. Also the garden and terrace with its furniture is excellent. This place can be recommended to everybody who wants to travel to Kapiti Coast without any hesitation. If you use the airport in Paraparaumu: there is a cheap and convenient car rental, RentMe Rentals. Und in Deutsch: Dieses Strandhaus ist wirklich ein wunderbarer Platz, sehr nahe am Meer, mit direktem Zugang zum Strand für schöne Spaziergänge (oder baden im Sommer). Es ist sehr gemütlich mit herrlichem Blick auf Kapiti Island und sogar die Südinsel von NZ war an mehreren Tagen während meines Aufenthaltes zu sehen. Die Küche hat alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt und sogar eine Flasche Wein und einige Früchte waren als nettes Begrüßungsgeschenk vorhanden. Das Zimmer im ersten Stock ist außergewöhnlich schön und auch bei schlechten Wetterbedingungen kann man sich hier sehr wohlfühlen. Auch der Garten und die Terrasse inkl. der vorhandenen Möbel ist ausgezeichnet für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt geeignet. Diese Unterkunft kann wirklich ohne jede Einschränkungen für Besucher der Kapiti Coast empfohlen werden. Wenn Sie den Flughafen in Paraparaumu verwenden: es gibt sogar eine günstige und bequeme Autovermietung: RentMe Rentals.

What a fantastic place to spend a couple of weeks. It was a bit blustery when we arrived, but Frances had left us a bottle of wine and the heaters had the place warmed up in no time. The sunset views from the bedroom cannot be beat, nor can the morning and evening walks and jogs we enjoyed along the beach. The shops are a decent length walk through a nice neighborhood. There are plenty of places to choose from for meals if you want to eat out. One night we met a friend for fish 'n chips, enjoyed them at the beach and then played at the nearby park.

Exactly what we'd hoped for. A fabulous place to rest – very comfortable, very clean, and the views are just amazing. We had the added bonus of perfect weather so are looking forward to our next visit.

This is a great little Bach in a great location on the Kapiti coast. Good for a family with a trampoline and lots of games. Very well looked after and clean house with some stunning views of Kapiti island.

We were the first guests to stay at Craig's place and appreciated the warm welcome, and the warmth and cleanliness of the guest area which was quiet and private from the main house. They went to every effort to ensure our needs were met and generously offered us a pick up from the local airport and a ride in to the city when leaving, both very generous offers. Raumati is a charming quiet beach town which is easily to explore from Craig's place. We wish you both all the best with this new venture.

Gillian made us feel very welcome. Her place is situated in a very handy location to the shops, train station, walking paths and main highway. It is exactly as promoted on her site in a quiet neighbourhood. Sleeping arrangements definitely suited to a single person or a couple.

Gillian let you feel at home right away. She prepared a good meal and we had a good conversation. The room was small, but for me there was sufficient space. Ànd the breakfast was excellent. Good stay again.

Gillian's house is very charming cottage, with a lovely garden and clean, comfortable interior. Gillian is very welcoming. The house is close to Raumati shops and there is parking outside if needed. If you are staying in Raumati this is a great option.

How could I describe this ? Staying at Gillian's was like seeing a long-time friend. We enjoyed a sunset on the beach, shared a delicious meal and chatted about life... It was a little like a home away from home, and such a pleasant stop along the way... I definitely recommend it !

Cam was very nice and hospitable. The house was lovely, immaculate and in a nice location. It has a nice garden and is in a quiet area. The bedroom was very pleasant, the bed was really comfortable and the bed linen exceptionally fresh and crisp. We had a bathroom to ourselves and we were welcome to use the kitchen, dining area and lounge. Excellent value for money.

We had the most wonderful stay at their house! The room was perfect and clean, we had our own bathroom and shower and they provided clean bed sheets every week. Joan and Cam are two of the nicest people we have met here so far and even invited us to celebrate Christmas with them. :) and since we celebrate Christmas Eve a little more in Germany than in New Zealand, they let us decorate their house and sat down with us on Christmas Eve with some champagne and snacks to make us feel more at home. :) We don't think a stay with Airbnb could be more perfect. Rosemary's house was my first ever Airbnb, and it was truly beautiful and such a lovely experience. Rosemary is such a kind, warm and welcoming host; my room was gorgeous - it felt very secluded and very comfortable and warm; and the view from the house over the beach and Kapiti Island - it's amazing!!
