  • This was a perfect place for a weekend getaway. Sherri’s place was cozy, comfortable & filled with charm. Situated right in town so restaurants & bars were within walking distance. We especially liked Love Bites Cafe....delicious breakfast & friendly staff. Overall, we had a nice relaxing weekend....thanks Sherri!

  • The perfect getaway. The place has so much style and is right in the center of town. Sherri responds quickly too. This was our second time staying there. I plan on coming back every year :)

  • The flat is super cute, very clean and located in the best spot... right on the main road with all of the shops. The designated parking is super helpful. Sherri is very sweet, responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and highly recommend it!

  • Beautiful and cozy apartment in the center of town. And the host goes above and beyond—she even helped me jump start my car when my battery died! Can't recommend this place more. I loved the little touches of hospitality, too, like an awesome Pandora station playing on the TV with an electric fire going when I walked in the door for the first time. It was like walking into a cool hotel room...but without any of the trappings of a cool hotel. :)

    Luke2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • The Warehouse was a wonderful "home base" for an extended New Year holiday exploring the Hudson Valley region. A short walk from a lovely, quaint downtown and a short drive from any number of quick visits to other towns along the river or inland. The place itself is stylish and comfortable, and Sherri was always a terrifically responsive host. Thanks so much to her!

  • The cutest little place in the cutest little town would definitely come again.

  • Just book. You won’t be disappointed.

  • We wanted a special place to stay for one night as we explored Woodstock, Saugerties and Phoenicia. We called last minute. When we arrived the tv had nice music playing and the fireplace was warming up for us. This is a cool place with a stellar location. In the middle of it all, but private and special. Recommended for sure!

A two minute walk from the center of town. Child-friendly, casual, spacious loft-like space doubles as an art gallery. There is a well tuned Baldwin parlor grand piano. Swimming hole nearby. The location is both convenient and private w/ ample parking. Smoking permitted on porch only. Cats live on the property but not in the BnB. Those with severe allergies may have issues.
The Mothership is unique among B&Bs because it is also an art gallery. As a guest you may share the space with an art show. Paul has a long history of mounting shows and his own work was shown in the Metropolitan in the Pictures Generation show of 2009. He is also a musician and there is a Baldwin 'parlor grand' piano as well. Creativity is the key to happiness and well-being. Tibetan Buddhists regard it as equivalent to spirituality and it's what Woodstock is all about. The oldest continually running art colony in the country, Woodstock was also an epicenter of the 60s peace, love and rock'n'roll utopian vision. In the 80s Woodstock was once again of seminal importance in the rise of the New Age movement; Native American, Buddhist, Hindu, Eastern Orthodox and Wiccan. It is also home to significant parts of the Rainbow Family, an important organization of the Hippie persuasion. The Mothership is also stocked with art supplies for guests.
Woodstock is so full of artists Paul once tried an experiment, which was to go door to door and see how many artists there were and ask each to submit a piece. He filled the gallery with works from over twenty artists living within a block or two of the Mothership. The town forest with its trails along the stream through the woods is only a short walk away, and there is an excellent guide Paul recommends. The library is also only a couple of blocks away and there are many activities there, including some for children. At night three music venues and several excellent restaurants and bars are in easy walking distance. That's the neighborhood, and there is also a healthy population of wildlife.
  • Paul’s place was simply the coolest. It was spacious and has anything you need. There are no pics of the bathroom/shower but they were clean and well stocked. Tigerhawk was kind and helpful, and Paul was just as cool as his place. Lastly, the location was perfect! My boyfriend and I had a great time. Thanks Paul!

    Natalie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • What an outstanding experience. Friendly, laid back and easy to communicate with, Paul and Tigerhawk were a pleasure to have as hosts. Look forward to coming back and we will definitely be back! Five stars for the lay out and location- walking distance into main st Woodstock

    Edward2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The place is spacious and very conveniently located. Paul and his assistant, Tigerhawk, were very kind and always eager to help.

    Ezgisu2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Paul’s place is great! Super close to town and the walk in was beautiful with the fall leaves. Paul and Tigerhawk were super responsive and flexible. They made the trip really easy and we can’t wait to come back. The baby grand was a nice surprise for my piano playing 10 year old!

    Brigid2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Paul’s place was very close to town! We were able to walk to all of the shops and restaurants in town in a couple of minutes. Check in and out was easy. And a short drive to overlook mountain and a few other hikes. It looked a little different than the photos and I recommend a few more cleaning supplies on site so that guests can tidy as they stay but no major complaints.

    Selena2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Paul is a great AirBnb host. His place is conveniently located, and has all the necessary amenities. We loved our stay, and will definitely stay there again!

    Gabriela2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Paul and Tigerhawk are lovely hosts: they answered everything very quickly and helpfully, and gracefully left us in privacy apart from sharing local sightseeing tips and interesting tidbits about the living space. The location's perfect if you'd like a retreat with nature sounds and good walks nearby, rather than staying in the center of Woodstock. At the same time everything in town is less than 10 minutes away on foot. The living space was carefully cleaned, the kitchen stocked with dishes, and the central dining/drawing space and bathroom are huge. Definitely a space for visitors who'd like idiosyncratic charm over franchise-motel predictability. The walls were covered in artwork, there's a piano we were welcome to fool around with, and a dining-table-and-bench piece which was salvaged monastery furniture. Bedrooms are fine, curtained off from the central space in alcoves. The second one is a bit small, but does still have some shelf space, a lamp, etc. Definitely recommend for an offbeat reading/art/walking retreat very near NYC.

    Sumati2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Spent a weekend exploring the Catskills from the Mothership. Great location, an easy walk into Woodstock for restaurants and bars yet still very easy to get out and explore nearby hikes etc. Would recommend!

  • Todd has a fantastic place. The space is beautiful and he left some really thoughtful treats for us. The location is perfect - only a five minute drive to the town center and a hair longer from great hiking at Minnewaska State Park. Will definitely be coming back.

    Lahiru2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Keep the blinds open so you can see the morning light on the gorgeous view of the mountain ridge. It's a beautiful, roomy space that also feels cozy. We had a lovely time and intend to come back. Todd was a gracious, fabulous host!

    Elaine2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is beautiful. It is a tastefully decorated studio apartment. All the amenities for a comfortable stay are there. Great location with views all around. A relaxing, wonderful getaway!

    Deia2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Todd's place is fantastic. It's very close to New Paltz which is great for restaurants and checking out town. It's also close to a lot of great hiking trails. The space itself is very cozy and spacious, and the big TV is great for coming home after a long day of hiking to relax. Todd is great at communication and happy to help out if needed.

    David2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Todd's place was fantastic. The location was perfect, central between the mainstreet area, Mohonk Preserve and the Mountain House. The space was roomy, comfortable and very clean. The host had coffee and other snacks stocked for us as well as toiletries, which we didn't use but still nice that he had them available. While there, we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit which was easy to get going and had plenty of extra wood available to keep the fire roaring. Parking and entry was semi-private and very convenient. The outdoor space was very laid back and had a great natural setting... I'm pretty sure we heard some coyotes (COULD have been several domestic dogs) howling back at a fire truck siren our last night there which was pretty amazing. Todd was available if we needed him, provided us with clean dishes and reset the fire pit after usage. Would definitely recommend.

    Matthew2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • A charming studio apartment in. a great location

    LuAnne2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Carriage House was very comfortable and met all of our expectations (and more). Todd and Beth clearly put thought into the little details, and that was much appreciated. We would recommend this place to any one interested in visiting New Paltz.

Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, just off the Taconic Parkway. We have a studio loft nestled in the rolling hills of Columbia County. 20 minutes from Hudson New York, 20mins from the Berkshires, and 10mins from Bash-Bish Falls. The loft is located atop Betzie's art studio which is a separate building away and private from the main house. With stunning views and tons of privacy its a great space for anyone looking for quiet & beauty. Our gardens abound.. for guests as well!
As of April 2017 we have added a new 12' x 16' deck off the north end of the loft ...and it's just for the loft guests!!! ***SPACE WELCOMES TWO ADULT GUESTS. THERE IS AN EXTRA MATTRESS WHICH WOULD ONLY BE SUITABLE FOR A SMALL CHILD. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING UP MATTRESS IF NEED BE. ***
The loft is special because it is sooo intimate peaceful and surrounded by BEAUTY. As well as being located in a separate building quite a ways away from our house. Access by car right up to the front door of the studio building where you will be staying . ...A/C Heat and lots of cross ventilation surrounded by pastures!
  • Great weekend getaway! The loft has beautiful woodwork, is extremely peaceful, quiet and cozy. Came here for a last minute trip out of the city and couldn’t be happier that we found this gem. Betzie was easy to communicate with throughout the whole stay.

    Kaitlin2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great Host. beautiful and tranquil loft and Betzie had many homey touches.

    Ml2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! Photos don’t do it justice. Referring friends to Betzies place for future visits to the Lower Hudson!

    Mirjam2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was the second time we staying in this out-of the-way loft. There were no problems at all either trip. Peaceful, quiet, and secluded.

    Kevin2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Betzie’s place was perfect for our small family’s autumn getaway in Columbia county. The loft is like a secret garden, tucked into a beautiful landscape. We loved the thoughtful touches, Betzie’s artwork, and peaceful night’s sleep. So glad we got to chat with Betzie on our way out! Great place to stay.

    Carianne2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved it very much. It was a splendid two days upstate and the loft was a perfect place to rest and absorb the surroundings.

    Tommaso2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Betzie’s place is the best! The perfect place to escape to.

    Dylan2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Betzie’s place was clean and comfortable in a great location, near a friend who was getting married in Ancram. The grounds were lovely and Betzie answered all my questions in a timely manner.

Sun filled loft with a beautiful private roof garden. A retreat right in the middle of the village. Acessable to everything. Cozy yet sleeps 4 good friends or family comfortably- because there are several different cool areas to hang out & relax.
A large beautiful loft apartment above one of the main streets in the designated historic area of charming Saugerties Village. The 1600 sq foot open space has one private bedroom, one sleeping loft (be aware that you can’t stand up in it- it’s like the sleeping quarters on a sailboat) with a double mattress and a couch which makes up into a queen size bed. There is also a sleepable couch for one. (there are actually enough sleeping places for 5 well behaved adults) The loft boasts a large living room,a ping pong/air hockey table, wireless network, Flat screen internet TV & DVD player,a turntable and my eclectic record collection( please handle both carefully), a modern kitchen, dining room, washer & dryer, Large bathroom with deep tub & towel warmer, another sitting area with a gas fireplace, as well as a large outdoor deck, covered dining area & private roof garden. Air Conditioned. If you have a car, the Municipal Parking Lot is free and located just behind our building. Overnight parking is permitted in the last 3 rows & is well marked- trust me- you won't need your car, so park and forget it! The village is filled with cute and quirky shops, a health food store, bakery, bookstores, yoga classes, nice shops, cafes, galleries, a movie theatre, restaurants & bars, all within walking distance. On weekends, (especially in the summer), It can occasionally be noisy in the evenings from the bars. The apartment is above Lucky Chocolates, chocolate shop in the back ( it's below the roof garden) and on the Partition street side above Rosie's Vintage Mercantile- a cute quirky vintage shop. You can check in and out with Rosie and she is also the co- host if you have any concerns or need recommendations for restaurants or shops.. A well behaved dog would be allowed- and there is a dog door to the fully fenced second story roof garden for small dogs. ($25 per dog for extra cleaning when we have dog guests- payable when you check in). It's a good town for dogs and in summer there are one or 2 outdoor restaurants where you can eat outside with your dog, and many stores allow dogs and have outdoor water stations. The bakery and bookstores are dog friendly too. Saugerties is a great little village just 90 miles from Manhattan and 6.5 miles from Woodstock, NY. There are plenty of hiking and biking areas nearbye. The Saugerties Lighthouse (1.5 miles) away, is at the convergance of the Hudson River & the Esopus Creek. Also a great place to walk dogs (on lead). Swimming & kayaking too. Great place to watch birds or have a picnic on the deck and a nice nature trail which is open all year. The Village of Saugerties has several buses a day from NYC (Adirondack Trailways). Busses to Kingston, NY are almost hourly. You can get a taxi from the bus (Stagecoach Taxi). Once in the village everything is walkable and cab rides within the village are $5. Uber also operates in our area. It's a great place to stay- The village is really sweet & fun, with lots to do- and though you are just a moment away from everything, the apartment is quiet and private- even on the outside deck! You will fall in love with this town!
lots of cute and quirky shops, great places to hike & swim. 2 bookstores, health food store, galleries, antique & junk stores library and restaurants all within a few blocks.
  • We loved our stay at the loft! Rae’s communication was excellent (and she had great tips in her guidebooks), the space is super comfortable and clean, and we loved exploring the cute town with our dog. Would absolutely visit again!

    Amanda2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second visit to Rae’s place and we would absolutely stay here again when visiting Saugerties. Rae was quick to respond and make sure we were all set with check-in and restaurant recommendations. The apartment is spotless with so many great amenities and the location can’t be beat.

    Michele2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was a perfect getaway for us over a chilly long weekend! The space is ample and the sofa couch was great for our toddler. The record collection and chocolates from the shop below were wonderful bonuses. The location is very central and near to lots of cute restaurants and shops. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Saugerties.

    Tes2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Rae’s loft is a beautiful space right in the middle of the cute town of Saugerties. A few of our friends went skiing at Hunter mountain while the rest of us explored trails within walking distance.

    Quentin2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean. The cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Plenty of amenities. Cool deck. Great location. My guess would be the best Airbnb in town. Very baby friendly. It is a loft, so it’s an open space that does carry noise. So if one person is awake they’ll likely wake everyone. Rae is a lovely host. Accommodating and good with communication.

    Lauren2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great loft space in superb location in Saugerties. Great kitchen, living space and terrace. Would stay there again anytime

Way bigger discounts are available for whole Summer /fall stays. This country craftsman schoolhouse has 4 renovated 750 Sq. ft classroom lofts, each with it's own private back entrance. I guess there's no need to tout the perks of this place, being in a park setting, totally removed from any living soul with acres and acres to stroll and explore. For 3 day prior to your arrival, the place will remain empty and soulless after it's covid cleaning, to assure there isn't a live germ in the place
This is a no shoe room and we ask guests to respect the space accordingly. Built in 1900 this Craftsmen's 4 room School House is located in the midst of one of the most gorgeous historic cemeteries in all of America, and a short 7 minute walk into town. Tailored after the cemeteries in Europe, it was created as a park to entice visitors. Many Hudson River School Painters made this their final resting place as well as famous inventors and titans of Industry. It is verily like walking through a 3 D history lesson. This particular room is our pride & joy. Built around a 18th century Opium Wedding bed, it is an artistic blend of Asian and contemporary design. We made the bathroom & kitchen out of steel & frosted glass. We feel it is truly a spiritual space in complete harmony with the natural beauty of the surrounding park/cemetery.
I love that this place is a haven, a quiet place for contemplation, writing or artful pursuits and that it is a 10 minute walk to Warren street and all its delights!!! This place is also IDEAL for the athletic. There are miles of winding paths everywhere.... FOR OUR WINTER GUESTS: a 10 minute walk in Winter can feel more like an hour when it's bitter cold. Remind whoever greets you to show you the shortcut through the cemetery and think twice about not just getting a taxi to Warren. its only a 2 minute drive .... As a local who can't always afford to take out a second mortgage to pay for a dinner on Warren... my favorite restaurant is (for TAKE OUT ..not much ambience)is Taste of The Caribbean, right down the hill on the Square next to the St Charles. It's the best bang for your buck. $15 for a plate of food you'll be finishing the next morning with your eggs ..Curry Goat, pulled or Barbequed chicken and Oxtail. SO good. BUT and THIS IS IMPORTANT: ask Anne Marie when you walk in, if she can accommodate you within 7 minutes, and that you are in a hurry.. otherwise you might be there on Caribbean Time ;) There is also The Hudson Curry House if you like Indian... but it is on Fairview Ave, so you'd have to drive or cab it.. but it's only minutes away. I also LOVE Le Gamin Country right on Warren, and that place is worth every penny, Ive never had a bad meal there and ambience is wonderful.
  • Gorgeous, cozy and stylish studio! Very close to downtown Warren Street (during warmer months, it is more walkable). Laura Ann was great with communication and kind enough to let us hang out one night with her cockatoos - Tico and Popcorn. Although Hudson is a bit cold and snowy in December, we had a great time and an awesome room to come back to each night. I would definitely return to Laura Ann's place during the summer!

    Renee2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • Laura Ann was the most amazing host. She communicated with us, gave us some recommendations, and left tasty treats for us each morning. Her space is beautiful and unique. It’s clean, comfortable, and absolutely gorgeous! The pictures don’t do it justice. Oh, and her bird is a delight! We had the best time in Hudson and Laura Ann’s space made the trip worthwhile.

    Autumn2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Asian room in the cemetery schoolhouse was, quite simply, a unique and unparalleled experience. Hudson has so much to offer, and staying in such a beautiful and artistic space - that's extremely comfortable and relaxing to boot - was the perfect cherry on top. Laura and Tico greeted us with an incredibly warm welcome that was honestly one of our favorite parts of the trip. We'll definitely be staying here again, and you should too!

    Daniel2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing! Clean space with beautiful, tasteful furnishings. Laura Ann is a great host with clear and quick communication. Would recommend to anyone.

    Kate2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Laura was such a great host and her place is amazing and very unique. Laura dropped of baked goods for us every morning that we’re delicious and gave us great recommendations about places to eat. Her place is also in walking distance to everything. Overall we had a great stay!

    Elizabeth2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • If you enjoy color and cockatoos (cockatiels?), this place is for you! Laura Ann is an ebullient host, and made our stay cheerful and pleasant. The fact that the former schoolhouse is located in the middle of a cemetery was peaceful, and not even a little bit spooky...it had bright and happy energy throughout! The location is a small drive from Warren St. Would recommend staying here if you are looking for a truly unique experience! Thanks again Laura Ann!

    Maeve2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time celebrating my girlfriend's birthday - This experience really exceeded expectations. The room was even more delightful than the pictures. Laura Ann's eye for aesthetic and hospitality is truly a gift. The best part, however, definitely has to be the birdies! My girlfriend almost cried when she had to say goodbye to them. We definitely will be returning soon! Thank you to Laura Ann, Tiko, Popcorn, and Martin!

    Rom2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most amazing stay at Laura Ann’s . The hospitality , thoughtful touches , and personal greeting made our stay even more amazing. We love our hosts, the location , and the birds! Our trip was everything we hoped for and we hope to stay here again some day!

  • This space is even better than showed on the pictures. It beyond exceeded our expectations. The decoration is tasteful and minimalistic. The location is in the heart of the city of Hudson, just walking distance of the best restaurants and markets. In addition, Victor (who takes care of the space), is such a wonderful man. Very thoughtful and helpful. We highly recommend this space and we are looking forward to coming back in the near future. Raquel

  • Thank you for being able to accommodate me during this time. I needed that mental break to get away from where I live and felt so comfortable and relaxed at the Airbnb. Thank you, Victor, for all your help with fixes and communication with keys and information. Hudson is beautiful. Had an amazing stay

    Nicole2020-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • What a cute spacious studio! We loved the beautiful concrete floors and the vaulted ceilings. Can’t wait to come back in the summer time :)

  • Such a great spot in Hudson! My boyfriend and I went for a long weekend this winter and had an amazing time at the Mechanic's Studio. Smartly designed, amazing natural light, with full kitchen and comfy living space. We were able to cook full meals, kick back and read or just sleep in. Victor was incredibly communicative and responsive. We loved the studio's location, walking distance from everything - even the trek to Hudson Brewing - but tucked away from the main drag. Our favorites included brunch at Home/Made and cocktails at the Rivertown Lodge. We can't wait to visit again!

    Kelsey2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The space was stylish and sleek and the host was more than receptive with making sure we had everything we needed.

    Morgan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great its an open concept that is very spacious with vaulted ceilings and a newly remodeled industrial look. The place has everything needed, very clean, and the host is right on top of any and everything.

I have moved to a 7 day reservation. There will be three days between each reservation. I will be cleaning the apartment at the end of each stay and then allowing 48 hours to pass before the next guest uses the space. There is a separate entrance to this apartment. Three bedroom home part of a former 1960 dairy barn. A multi activity site: Art gallery, Art studios, Part of an organic farm, Pond to swim in, Horses to visit, Great kitchen, Outdoor patios, Near rail bike trail
  • Our stay at Henry’s art barn was magical and magnificent! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for our family reunion in NY! So very peaceful and inspiring!

    Jay2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very unusual and enchanting property in a lovely, bucolic area. Henry is an excellent host - responsive and helpful. The apartment is near a great paved rail trail and very nice hiking areas. The town of Millerton has a number of wonderful restaurants. If we lived closer, we would visit all the time.

    Kat2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very relaxing and charming place.

    Sophie2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Henry’s home exceeded our expectations and then some. To say this place is gorgeous is an understatement. So enchantingly beautiful, unique, and elegant. Places like these are the reason that Airbnb exists. Henry went above and beyond to make this your home away from home, and it shows in every last detail. There’s every amenity you can imagine and then some. Textbook perfect for absolutely anyone. You will never want to leave (we definitely did not). Henry is a remarkable host. His recommendations are of the highest level of expertise. Every place we tried was quality. On top of that, he was incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions. Can’t wait to come back again (a matter of when, not if!).

    Alexandra2019-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is an entirely magical experience. Henry's art studio and custom made home are a perfect place for rest, contemplation, exploring rural and small-town New York State, and making friends with oneself all over again. The description is very accurate. This is a beautifully designed home inside an old barn that Henry has also turned into his art studio. His unique and beautiful art is displayed throughout the home, the kitchen is fantastic, and the sleeping and living quarters are very adequate and quite beautiful. If you're looking for a quiet time away, or a bit of time on the ski slopes, then this is a perfect spot for you. You won't be disappointed and I recommend it highly.

    Kirk2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Unique place! Our family very much enjoyed this quiet escape. Henry was a great host.

    Gina2018-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time staying at Henry’s barn. This is a very special place that is even nicer than on pictures and made for a perfect comfy fall weekend. The place was spotlessly clean and warm and very well equipped. The surroundings are beautiful too. Communication was very easy and Henry checked on us regularly while leaving us all the space we needed. We will definitely be back !!!

This minimalist design loft apartment has a wall of windows overlooking Mt. Tobias and a spring fed pond on our six acres of land across the street. Perfect for a meditation retreat or a photoshoot. A large river stone fireplace warms up the space. The white subway tiled kitchen has a Moroccan tile floor, a stainless steel Viking range, stainless steel commercial sink and custom handmade recycled barn-wood countertops, rounding out the industrial look.
This loft like apartment has black stained hard wood floors throughout, custom built black bed made from salvaged wood in the bedroom is topped with a memory foam mattress. There are sheepskins and tribal pillows on a wooden platform in the main space, a great place to sit and meditate or have an intimate dinner overlooking Mt. Tobias. There is a large Bluestone fireplace, useful in winter. The bathroom is tiled in marble and white subway tiles.
The property backs up to forever wild DEC land, has hiking trails nearby.
  • Full of natural light, minimalist, yet cozy! It was perfect for a winter retreat. Close to Woodstock for food, but enough amenities to cook meals there too. Near local trails too! The only thing that caused a little sleep disturbance were upstairs neighbors' movements past 10:30 pm, but nothing serious.

  • I absolutely loved my stay at the source. Julie was a wonderful host and the place has such a great vibe. Look forward to returning someday. The Source Rocks!

    Alec2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Had a really great time at Juliet’s place and would recommend. The listing is accurate with a great view of the mountains, a beautiful fireplace, and it’s super clean. The running water is sulfur-y just as the listing said, so definitely bring your own drinking water.

  • The place was really comfortable and great! It has great view of the outside and is really nice for doing yoga and meditation. I'd highly recommend it to others!

Hudson is an amazing destination, two hours from New York City by car or train (with 12 trains each way every day). It’s a walkable miniature city of historic architecture, antiques, art and design galleries, performance events both sophisticated and edgy, and great food. The town overlooks the magnificent Hudson River and Catskill Mountains, and is surrounded by the bucolic landscapes of Columbia County. Historic house museums, country walks and charming villages are all within a few minutes’ drive.

  • Very cool to stay in a carriage house! The bed was perfect and the shower was wonderful after a day of hiking. There is no tv which we didn’t realize until after we booked but we didn’t need it. The house is very centrally located and Peter offered great suggestions on where to eat. Would definitely recommend!

    Meredith2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • The location can't be beat. One quiet street behind all the best of Warren Street. Lovely spacious studio offering a place to relax, read or eat alone, while a hop and skip from all the fun of Warren. Definitely worth it over a pricey, non-private hotel room.

    Polly2019-10-14T00:00:00Z

COZY HUDSON is not available for bookings at this time. We are taking a break from hosting to do some traveling of our own- but want to thank all of our wonderful guests (some who've become friends!) for the amazing experience we've had meeting all kinds of people from all over the world. Have a great Summer!
Our AirBnb is stylishly furnished with an eclectic mix of mid-century vintage, industrial and contemporary furnishings and artwork from local artists. The bedroom has a comfortable full sized bed and a compact vintage desk. The Airbnb bedroom and adjacent area are private and in a separate area from the front of the loft where we live. The carpeted bedroom is quiet and cozy, with lovely Northern light and the nearby "Butler's Pantry" is stocked with fresh fruit, snacks, filtered water, books and a small refrigerator. The semi-private bathroom is appointed with natural shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Guests come and go from a separate, 2nd floor outside stair.
Historic Hudson is 2.2 Sq miles and is located on the Hudson River. Settled in 1662, Warren Street- the main street- is 1 mile long and is packed with art galleries, cafes, design shops and antique stores. We love living and working in one of the most diverse blocks on Warren Street- right in the middle of town. You'll find everything you need in Hudson- from artisanal cheeses at Old Hudson to craft beer+cider at Spotty Dog Books & Ale (yes! books+beer) to vintage vinyl at John Doe Records. We also have 2 casual dining options in our block- Nolita Cafe and The Cascades. This block has a terrific assortment of retail shops right outside our door including TK Home & Garden, Les Indiennes, White Whale Antiques, Hudson Clothier, Face Stockholm Cosmetics and TradeWinds- among others. Our block has a fine sampling of the many stylish antique, design and clothing stores throughout Hudson. To top it off, Club Helsinki is just a short walk from our back door….!
  • Pauline and Sherry were great! Check in and check out were super easy, and we got some great information on where to eat and drink in town. It's right in the middle of everything. A perfect place for a night away from the city.

    Pat2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • The city is really tiny. All the more it pleased me to see all claims fulfilled. This was particularly the detailed explanation at the beginning of sherry. It contained all the important points. And I needed recovery. In addition I was pleased when at the end an invitation with friends from the region took place. That's how I became aware of Hudson's network.

    Hartmut2016-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely. Pauline and Sherry are fantastic hosts; generous with their time and ideas, and deeply knowledgeable about Hudson. The room is in the middle of town yet really quiet and peaceful.

  • My wife and I went up to Hudson to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had a great experience. Pauline and Sherry were fantastic hosts. They greeted us in person at the apartment and were very responsive leading up to check-in and during our visit when we had questions. The apartment is great - clean, private, very well decorated, and comfortable. It's also right on the main drag in Hudson, and was extremely convenient to get to restaurants and shops along Warren St. We will absolutely recommend the place to others.

  • Beautiful loft and amazing hospitality from Sooz and her husband. The ‘loft’ is very spacious and has lots of character. They offered coffee and great conversation in the morning. The Airbnb is located in a small town next to Hudson which is pretty easy to get to from there. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet. As other reviews mention; the loft is not completely closed off with walls from the rest of the house. This takes a little bit away from your privacy. We had a great stay and recommend this Airbnb.

    Tijn2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This space really is like a tree house- plus it’s beautifully decorated, serene, and just a really nice place to stay. SooZ and McKay are super nice, we really enjoyed speaking with them over some coffee in the morning. The loft felt private and we had a very nice time.

Eccentric space for the out of the ordinary experience. Perfect for the non-perfectionist who likes to live large on a budget. The Pink Ballroom is the ultimate creative space for photo or video shoots, theatrical events, bachelor/ette parties, film making & more. This gigantic room has a stage, sitting area, huge windows, ceilings fans, wifi. There is lighting, an art deco bar, speakers & stage for your thing. The party needs to respectfully end at 11 pm due to our village noise ordinance.
This is the original ballroom in the Odd Fellows Temple building...third floor available for your creative pursuits. Sleeping arrangements need to be made separately....the space is normally for day use but because of so many requests, the loft is now set up for overnight guests! See the new (Website hidden by Airbnb) is at stage right, behind the curtain is a private sitting area with the upper loft set up with a full size bed, clean sheets and a unique experience. We have two lovely air bnb rooms downstairs that are available (May thru Nov). The ballroom is for DAY USE only...available 9 am to 11 pm. We can go later depending on your needs as long as it isn't too loud or invasive to the other full time tenants who live in the building. Occupancy is limited to 48 people. We've added some furniture since the photos were taken...there is another love seat and set of chairs in house along with approximately a dozen stools, two fold out tables and a few odd coffee tables.
Downtown Saugerties...the loft is on Main Street with easy access to all amenities. Eclectic restaurants, a brew pub, organic food market, great pizza, fabulous book store / coffee shop on the corner. Lots to keep you entertained within walking distance to everything. HITS horse show is only a mile away.
  • Great multi-purpose space in downtown Saugerties. I used it for a retreat and loved the vibe and the spaciousness -- we were able to use different parts of the room for different activities -- talking, moving, having a meal together. Kelli was a great host and responsive to our needs.

    Julie2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • this place is AMAZING! But it is also VERY funky. If you are burner or festival goer or artist you will have found a slice of bohemian heaven.

  • This space exceeded all of my expectations. Hosted my themed 30th prom birthday party here and the venue was beyond perfect. Kelli was very attentive and super friendly. I’d love to host another event here someday. Thanks Kelli!

  • Kelli and her space are awesome. Amazing possibilities in the ballroom. Feels like stepping into another realm. Highly recommended.

    Sharon2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Kelli's loft is really fun to stay at. It's an old building with a lot of character and there are interesting events going on like aerial yoga. It's full of art. The location is fantastic. The building has deferred maintenance and it shows, but it was totally adequate and we loved it.

    Ingrid2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Kelli was a generous host, who was uresponsive and kind. As long as you don't mind the co-op nature of the building (i.e. events that may happen in the ballroom, people coming and going in the shared kitchen, sharing bathroom), it is a lovely place to stay. Thank you Kelli!

    Jinah2016-07-03T00:00:00Z

This 1850s brick carriage house was completely gutted, redesigned, and rebuilt brick by brick in 2017. Decorated by a vintage art and furniture dealer (check out Peak Stuff on Instagram) with a killer eye and a love for unique vintage finds, this place is truly one of a kind :)
Kingston is a great city to visit and centrally located in the Hudson Valley. The Rondout neighborhood in Kingston is a lovely place to live and spend a weekend. • Gail’s place is a great apartment to stay at during your stay in Hudson. The pictures do not quite do it justice - it is huge, has a ton of natural light, and is well stocked with all kitchen supplies you could wish for. We liked it so much that we extended our stay by an extra night halfway through the trip.

Every little detail was thought of. Definitely recommend!

  • This little apartment is amazing! The location is perfect right in downtown Woodstock, within easy walking or biking distance of anything you could need, from galleries to grocery stores to restaurants and cafes. The decoration is modern and cool and the bed is super comfortable, which made it easy to spend a lot of time in the apartment. The hot plate and kettle were great for making tea and a few easy meals. Billy was super responsive and helpful. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

  • The Mechanic's Loft is a special home in Hudson. This house extremely well-appointed with amenities, clean, close to great restaurants and located in town. The space is large and airy, full of light with charming accents and great details. Very friendly and responsive host -- highly recommended home!

    Ian2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, great location, and overall a great stay.

    Kendra2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great loft and location. Have stayed in Hudson many times but this is definitely the best option for 4+ people.

    Annie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the Mechanic's Loft in Hudson! The location was perfect, and within short walking distance from all the best spots the town has to offer. The entire space was clean, the decor was awesome, and our communication with the host was clear and quick. Thanks for a great stay - we'll be back again soon for sure!

    Meghan2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is conveniently located just off the Main Street of Hudson, about a 25 minute walk to the other end of Warren St from the train station. If you don’t mind walking I’d say come up from the city without car. That said, there is free street parking on weekends, so that was no issue. The loft is minimal but cozy, with a large kitchen for cooking. I’d stay here again!

    Sakiko2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at John's loft, it was very conveniently located behind Lil Deb's Oasis, but private enough so you don't feel like you're on top of the restaurant. The loft was very stylish and spacious, and John & Victor were great about checking in and communicating with us before and during our stay.

    Shane2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • John's place was exactly as described: modern, well-situated, and well-equipped. It was a very large space for two people, which was a nice luxury, but could very comfortably hold a family or three couples. Although we did not use it for this purpose, it is a perfect space to entertain a larger crowd, with an outdoor courtyard, too. We enthusiastically recommend this property.

  • This was my wife's and my second trip to Kingston. The first time we stayed downstairs in the "main" carriage house on Angelo and Tony's property, and this time we stayed upstairs in the carriage house loft. We're still trying to figure out which one is our favorite, a difficult task because they are both so amazing. The property makes for such a lovely getaway from New York City, with lovely views of the mountains, trees, and nearby horses (!). The loft itself is decorated with modern furnishings, window fixtures, and art, and is impeccably clean. A super comfy bed with high-end quality linens and blankets. Central air to keep the temperature to your liking (so critical, since we came in the middle of February!). Lots of windows to let in that wonderful New York light and to have some terrific views on the rustic surroundings. The bathroom is so well kept that it feels like you're the only ones to have used it. All in all, Angelo and Tony keep Airbnbs that feel like upscale boutique hotels--this is the reason my wife and I have visited twice in six months, and are already planning a future trip. The kitchen is thoughtfully and thoroughly equipped with appliances, utensils, dishes, and ingredients (olive oils, seasonings, coffee) if you need them, though we tend to opt for dinners out in the Stockade district at restaurants and bars Angelo and Tony have recommended to us (Wilde Beest and Stockade Tavern are stylish favorites of ours). Easy and secure parking for your car. Swift and friendly communication with the hosts. Ultra reliable from arrival to departure. There's no end to the good things I could say about this place. If you're looking to escape Brooklyn for the first time because you've heard good things about Kingston, the carriage house and the carriage house loft are the kinds of no-risk, high-reward places you book for yourselves to ensure you have the best time possible.

    Michael2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I were participants at a retreat at the Omega Institute and it was the perfect place for us to rest after hours of intensive learning. Angelo provided everything we needed and more and even left us a plate of local cookies which were delicious! He met us at the door when we arrived and showed us around the place. Such a lovely home - we’ll definitely be back!

    Erin2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful loft, gorgeous location, safe neighbourhood, spotlessly clean. Angelo is a fantastic host.

    Lesley2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. We really enjoyed our stay at Angelo’s. The carriage house loft is beautiful and functional- lots of light and access to fresh air. Angelo is a friendly and gracious host. His suggestions for restaurants were spot on. One of the great things about the place is it has everything you need in a well designed and comfortable space. Its also a great location to explore Kingston’s cool vibe or get into the wilderness for a hike or a bike ride in the woods.

    Sandy2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a charming space, in a quiet and secluded neighborhood which was nevertheless conveniently located!

    Thomas2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • The carriage house loft is a great place to stay while in Kingston. Angelo was a gracious host who provided a warm welcome and bottle of prosecco , but even if that was not the case the loft itself was clean, spacious, and stylish with a natural zen vibe. It is a very relaxing and inviting place to stay.

    Frank2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is exactly as advertised. The amenities are great. It would be just as easy to stay in is it is to go out. The place is mostly very quiet. The only noise we heard was someone walking in the downstairs unit, which was not an issue. Angelo was a joy to interact with, very personable, prompt in his communication, and accommodating. If you are looking to explore Kingston and/or the surrounding area, this place is perfect. Speaking of the downstairs unit, there is one and it is very beautiful - a true stable house complete with a giant wooden farm table. Ask Angelo about it!

    David2017-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at Angelo's loft! He gave us a warm welcome and suggested some great local spots for food and drinks. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and provided the perfect fall getaway.

Beautifully renovated & restored 1850's brick carriage house.
This 1850s brick carriage house was completely gutted, redesigned, and rebuilt brick by brick in 2017. Decorated by a vintage art and furniture dealer (check out Peak Stuff on Instagram) with a killer eye and a love for unique vintage finds, this place is truly one of a kind :) This unit is on the second floor. (There's a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor, which is also available to rent on Airbnb.) As you come up the stairs, you'll enter an open, light-filled loft living/dining/kitchen area. There's one bedroom on this level that has its own half bath. Up another flight of stairs, you'll find a full bathroom and a bedroom with a king bed. There's central air, in-unit washer & dryer, a kitchen equipped for cooking, internet, and live-stream TV in the living room. Totally comfortable. The perfect place to call home while you explore all Kingston has to offer. Walking distance to the waterfront and around the corner from the wine shop.
Kingston is a great city to visit and centrally located in the Hudson Valley. The Rondout neighborhood in Kingston is a lovely place to live and spend a weekend. There are shops and restaurant around the corner, and we are two blocks from the marina where you can book a tour of the Hudson River. Stroll along the promenade or to Kingston Point Park. Uptown and Midtown Kingston are also easily accessible by car or bike or the bus stop located at the end of the street.
  • Great place for a long term stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and the place feels like someone has lived there, not just renting it as Air bnb. Solomon is very responsive and great to deal with.

    Glen2020-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Solomon and Lindsay's home was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. There's ample street parking, easy check-in, and walking distance to the adorable Rondout area of Kingston. Every decorative detail was on point and had so much character. We blurted out, "can we just stay forever?" on multiple occasions. Fully stocked kitchen tools, towels, records, and more for a comfortable stay. Would absolutely recommend and stay next time I'm in Kingston.

    Diane2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place! Thank you so much for great stay!!! We loved everything and felt like home right away, the location is great.

    Lasse2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Solomon’s place was such a treat — definitely one of my favorite airbnb experiences to date. The apartment is gorgeous, and has everything you need. Located about 30 seconds from a really great wine shop, cafe, and a string of restaurants. Super smooth check-in and overall communication. Will definitely be staying here again!

    Tanisha2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Solomon and Lindsay were amazing hosts! The loft is spectacular, super clean, great amenities, perfect location close to the water. We were very pleased with the stay. Hosts were very responsive, kind, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

    Sandy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Solomon’s place is beautiful – I would live there if I could! It was clean, cozy, and quiet. There’s a bed and bath on each floor, so it’s perfect for friends or couples staying together. The location is also great; it’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants and a quick drive to other awesome Catskills towns. Street parking is abundant and free. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Hope to stay again!

    Meg2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a private 2 bedroom home in Kingston, NY, look no further! Solomon's home is beautifully designed with all the amenities at your fingertips. The waterfront is just a rocks throw away with cute boutiques lining the neighborhood. For more shopping, you can check out Stockade (10 min drive) or Rhinebeck (20 min drive) across the river. Solomon and Lindsay are super responsive and great hosts! Would highly recommend. Added bonus: Dogs are allowed!

    Akiko2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Solomon and Lindsay were the perfect hosts during our incredible stay in Kingston. This was by far one of the nicest Airbnbs we've ever stayed in (even better than the pics!). Gorgeous space and the furniture is truly beautiful (also, very comfortable beds!). The loft was so clean, and stocked with all of the essentials for a wonderful stay (excellent kitchen + cookware, beautiful silverware, dishes + glasses too!). Kingston is a quick two hour trip from NYC, and we had the best time exploring the city. We went to Hotel Kinsley for dinner, Rough Draft for drinks, and then explored the Rondout area (so many cute stores, restaurants and a beautiful wine bar within walking distance!!!). Lindsay + Solomon were extremely quick with responses and made this process so easy. We can't recommend their Airbnb enough and love Kingston for an easy weekend escape from the city.

  • Kerry's loft is clean, stylish, and is a great home base when visiting the Phoenicia area. The shower and bath are spectacular, and the room itself is a treat to hang out in. We ran into Kerry by chance on our way in and out of the room and he was gracious and accommodating, and answered questions as soon as we had them. Thanks Kerry!

    Eric2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at Kerry’s loft! Very comfy bed and amazing rain head shower and soaking tub- great after a long day of skiing!

    Amanda2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sparkling clean, beautiful place. Great location. Kerry was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely come again

    Rory2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • This space is great - Phoenicia is a beautiful little town and the bathroom and bed are as nice as advertised. Kerry was responsive and helpful though we didn't meet him in person. Definitely would recommend for a stay in the area.

    Jonah2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • This loft is GORGEOUS! THE HOST: Kerry was an incredible host and was always available for any questions, concerns, or with the simple check-in/check-out instructions. THE SPACE/AREA: The fine touches are beautifully thought out (crystals, magazines, and books sprinkled around the loft) and the amenities are just magnificent (plates, cups, knives, coffee maker, etc.) I took myself on a week long silent retreat and booked this loft because of the luxurious bath tub, but found myself more enamored by the rainfall shower. The loft is right in the center of town, and perfect walking distance from small supermarkets, antique shops, and a deli (or a 20 min drive if you are looking for a larger supermarket) and the space is very private; during my week long stay I was not disturbed a single time. If you are looking for a sign THIS IS THAT SIGN, BOOK THIS PLACE. I was there at the HEIGHT of winter and it was wonderful, so I cannot wait to return when the weather is just a little warmer! :) THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL STAY! :)

    Danny2019-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay, wonderful bathroom/shower, small heater that works great, coffee/tea and other small details appreciated. Great communication with the host.

    Olesia2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing loft for your trip to mountains. A great view from the windows. The trails begin from the both sides of the house. The restaurants are in 3-7 minutes from the house. The loft is designed with wood panels that makes it stunning and relaxing. A good quality of mattress keep your body relaxing through the night. A big shower room and a bath tub are just a great addition for your cold winter break. Kerry was very helpful with any of our questions. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone who loves a nature and is looking for a harmony with himself.

This 1900 sq ft. loft is the original viewing room to the indoor riding arena on an equestrian property located in Millbrook hunt country. The loft has been recently renovated for use as an entertainment and guest space. It is ideal for those who desire an open concept and minimalist atmosphere. The property is on a bucolic dirt road and ideal for outdoor activities.
There is a coffee bar with a refrigerator and toaster oven to help start the day, and a separate mudroom with a washer/dryer. The oversized bathroom includes a double sink vanity. French doors on both ends of the space allow beautiful sunlight and views to the outdoor where you will have views of horses being walked to and from their paddocks.
We are situated on one of the most beautiful dirt roads in Millbrook which allows guests to enjoy beautiful undisturbed walks, bike or horse rides and in the winter cross country skiing. This is a peaceful place to reconnect and recharge.
  • The Loft is such a unique and interesting place, we loved it. It's more of an experience than just a place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, be sure to take a walk around. The owners have beautifully furnished the loft with interesting art and comfortable yet stylish furniture. It is impeccably clean. While it doesn't have a kitchen per se, there is everything you need for coffee, a large fridge, and a microwave. The owners thoughtfully left soft drinks, beer, wine and milk. Go to the old-fashioned Millbrook Diner for breakfast. John is a great host and made everything easy. We'd love to stay here again!

    Jean2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This property is beautiful and well located if you want to explore Millbrook and the surrounding areas. Very spacious and clean, easy to relax in. And, John is a welcoming and responsive host.

    Patricia2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • John is a great host and his place is beyond our expectations! The place is very clean and. well. decorated. There's bevarages prepared for guests in the fridge which is very sweet. Our dog, Summer, had a lot of fun running in the farm and swimming in the pond. We went to the restaurants John recommended, both Charlotte's and Barbaro are amazing. Highly recommend John's place and would definitely come back!

    Bingyu2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • John was an amazing host. Easy check-in, wonderful restaurant suggestions, and a beautiful airbnb. It was clean, perfectly located to the horse show, and had very comfortable beds and living arrangements. Highly suggest!

  • Great spot and John was very helpful. Would return for another stay.

    Adam2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • John is a great host. The equestrian loft is the perfect weekend getaway. The mini-bar-like snacks were icing on the cake. I'd recommend staying here. We were huge fans of the charming restaurant and catering hall down the road, which is called Charlotte's, and is about a five-minute walk.

    Evan2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful location in Millbrook- nature walks, animals and quiet place to relax. I highly recommend this beautiful farm for a weekend away.

    Caitlin2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • John and his family were superb hosts. Very unique setting on a horse farm, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. They had the fridge stocked with great amenities - more than I have experienced at any other Airbnb. Only a few miles from downtown Millbrook, which had some great restaurants and bars. We will be back!
