Great host .

We really enjoyed our stay with Gary in his home and he was the perfect host! This was our first Air BnB experience and we were Gary's second set of guests. It was a new and very positive experience for the both of us. Both our 10 and 8 year old boys thought Gary was great and were actually disappointed that there wasn't a live-in host at our second Air BnB where we stayed a few days later. The home is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. The living room and kitchen are both modern. There are 3 bedrooms available although note that you do need to pass through one of the bedrooms in order to reach a second bedroom. There is a washing machine which was very handy although there was no tumble dryer. We were only stating for one night and the weather wasn't great so drying the washing was a little challenging. It did begin to rain while we were out and Gary very kindly brought our washing in for us. There were no waste baskets or mirrors in the bedrooms and in view of us only being his second set of guests Gary was very appreciative of the feedback and happily took it on board. The room had been listed as 'Entire Home' when this isn't the case and it is in fact a 'Private Room' in Gary's house. This was just an oversight on Gary's behalf. We were expecting to have the entire home to ourselves. It wasn't an issue for us and Gary immediately changed the description in his listing. Again, we really enjoyed our stay and Gary was a great host. Waking up to the smell of homemade fresh bread was the perfect way to end our stay! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gary's home or his hospitality...

Gary stays at the place while you are there but he's a lovely bloke and easy going. The lounge and kitchen areas are great and there's ample parking. I did have trouble figuring out the tv remote but it's Sony and I'm used to LG. The bedrooms, bathroom laundry etc are dated but Gary is going to update soon.

Two bedrooms are well decorated and fully equipped, we love the bathroom best and the lots of books. Deirdre is very friendly and nice; we love her cute dog as well. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and will come back again!

Deirdre's place was excellent for our recent two night stay in Rhyll. Located in a nice quiet location and only an easy 20 minute walk into Rhyll. Deirdre was a great host, very friendly and welcoming. The room was excellent, nice comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast makings were supplied and was great to have a beer, wine and juice provided in the fridge. Overall a great experience with Deirdre in her home. Thanks.

Deirdre is an extremely thoughtful host. The room and spacious toilet was well-maintained with lots of extras provided. Her fridge was well stocked with local produce and the kitchen had all the cooking equipment needed to make a simple meal. Deirdre went above and beyond her call of duty as host, even doing some of our laundry for us! Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a home away from their home to enjoy the abundant attractions that Phillip Island has to offer!

Thanks Deirdre for a lovely stay. Our accommodation was very clean and comfy. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Bathroom was spacious, great water pressure and luxury towels. Plenty of delicious homemade brekky provisions, coffee machine and thanks for the welcome beers in the fridge. All the surf beaches were within 20 minutes drive as that's why we came down to Phillip Island. Thanks again. Libby

The host was lovely, helpful and quick to respond. The neighborhood was peaceful, we met some of the neighbors and everyone was really nice. There is a local cafe, went for a morning stroll, was great and only a shirt walk to a beautiful beach. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable. Sadly we couldn't use the spa as there was no way of turning the hot water - i think the function was broken.

We booked for a night after 2 days in St Kilda. After a day touring Mornington it was an easy drive to Phillip Island and the Beach House set in a quiet and peaceful part of the island. The only noise at night was the wind and it was very easy to sleep soundly.

Kim's place is as stated - it's super clean - really cosy and comfortable - great location. Will definitely try and book again in the further. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at Kim's place! It was cute and cosy and had everything we needed. It was spotless, quiet and comfortable and a great base from which to explore Phillip Island. I definitely recommend At The Beach! I never met Kim but she was very easy to deal with and responded to questions very quickly via email.

The Bungalow was beautiful I liked the decoration, although we had some rain, it felt like a beach holiday staying in this airbnb. We also enjoyed having a washing machine, TV and a coffee machine. I haven't met Kim, but the communication via airbnb was perfect, she answered really quickly. If I came back to Phillip Island, I would like to stay in this bungalow again :)

Cosy, pet friendly accomodation within walking distance to the beach. Very family friendly especially for the older kids and away from the hustle and bustle of cowes.

Gavan was a wonderful and extremely helpful host who made our stay flawless. His local knowledge was amazing and he offered me a surfboard and wetsuit during the stay. A superb house in a beautiful area, I will be staying again in the future.

Gavan’s place was a perfect get away for our overnight trip to Phillip Island. It was just as advertised, cosy, neat, clean and comfortable for the three for us. Gavan was also very welcoming. We’ll definitely stay again if we go back.

Gavan is a great host, thoroughly enjoyed staying at his place. Gavan is happy to have a chat and give you some local insight but can also give you privacy if you prefer to do your own thing. The room was sectioned off from the rest of the house, so it felt like it was your own space. The house was only a few minutes walk from the local surf beach which was stunning, especially at sunset when the local surfers would come out and line the horizon. Would definitely recommend for anyone planning to stay at Phillip Island.

Gavan was easy to communicate with from initial contact and although we never met he provided all the directions I needed for arrival and settling in along with information re the penguin parade. The location is close to a surf beach and the waves could be heard at night. The room was clean and cosy; not overly spacious but provided a safe and comfortable base from which to explore Phillip Island.

Excellent location opposite the pier. The place is very spacious and modern. Lindsay was an excellent host everything you would need was supplied.

This home is beautiful, new and fresh, very well located in peaceful Rhyll. My family (2 teenagers) all enjoyed our stay. Lindsay was very co-operative and easy to communicate with. She even went out of her way and bought us a gas bottle when we notified her we didn't have one! We will definitely return to this property and highly recommend it to all.

We stayed at Andrew's Sunset Strip place over the Easter weekend. The place itself was more than we expected. The house was tidy. There were ample clean sheets and linen. The house and bedroom were spacious. We were able to do some BBQ conservatively. It was also a few minutes away from some of Phillip Island's attractions. Overall, we had a great stay. We will definitely come back again in the future.

Peter's house was fantastic! Had a great time and would highly recommend renting this place; and it was only a short drive away from Cowes. The facilities were fantastic including games in the drawers, plenty of beds, full kitchen, TV, sound system, etc. Peter was very accommodating, fast at responding to queries and was a pleasure to deal with.

Peter's house is in a great position and we found it to be exactly as described. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and in close proximity to Cowes shops and essential facilities. Surf beaches are a short drive away and dinner at the RSL was very good. Overall, our time spent on Phillip Island was made great by our stay in Peter's lovely and spacious holiday home.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay here. It was very cosy and family friendly. We had a little problem with the hot water, but Peter was very helpful and quick to help us resolve the issue.

The house was spottless when we arrived and had everything we needed. Quiet area with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Lovely back deck. Peter also provided some good advice on places/cafés to go in the area. Just remember to bring your own linen! Thanks for a great stay Peter.

We had a very pleasant stay at four winds! The house is very nice and perfect to spend some good family time! Michael was very kind, he let us check out late and we even had the surprise of finding a Christmas tree upon our arrival on the 23rd of December! The house has plenty of games and a nice barbecue so it is a good option to spend some time with friends and family. The closest beach is not very nice but nice sandy beaches can be found within a 10 minutes car ride. Overall we are very happy to have chosen four winds for our Xmas in Australia!

The place was extremely tidy, clean, well presented and even the fireplace had timber and kindling ready to use (we topped up the firewood from your stockpile outside when we left). Our weekend here was great. It is a quiet neighbourhood, close to shops and the beach, there were no issues in getting into the house and the games room provided a lot of fun during our stay. A very cosy yet spacious home that has everything you require for a comfortable stay. The 70s ?era home has been updated tastefully and felt clean and airy. Within close commuting distance to all the popular spots on the Island. Michael was a very accommodating and helpful host. Perhaps not suitable for very small children due to new carpets ;) stairs and the main road, although there is a sturdy gate that secures the front. Overall a pleasant stay :)

Diana met us when we arrived and she has kindly made us delicious muffins which all the other guests talked about. :) She even left us some milk, OJ, bread, cereals and butter hence we didn't have to worry about driving our for breakfast. It was a short, but lovely stay as Diana was not intrusive and let us have the house to ourselves. Thank you again for the lovely banana muffins.

The cute little house was very clean and neat and conveniently located next to a beautiful beach. I slept in the sofa which was surprisingly comfortable and my old parents sleepy well in the bedroom. The check in arrangements were very flexible and there was also a filling breakfast provided with home baked muffins. I will most likely come back myself and can recommend anyone to rent from Diana!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Jude's. Everything was as described and Jude really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The breakfast was amazing and there is a lot of thought and effort put into everything. I would highly recommend staying at Jude's.

We were welcomed into their beautiful home and immediately made to feel welcome as we were shown to their 2nd floor apartment. Everything was up-to-date in the sitting room, bathroom and bedroom. The furnishings were very pleasant and everything was spotless. Also included was a small refrigerator which contained fresh squeezed orange juice, mixed fruit, yogurt, milk and room for us to put our items. Additionally there was a choice of cereal and tea/coffee, and a fresh baguette. There is a protected deck off the sitting room, perfect for breakfast or any time you might like. Their surrounding grounds are full of well maintained plants.

We felt very welcome and looked after. Very comfortable and private and well considered. Warm hosts with an eye for detal. Quiet location and very comfortable bed. A very good experience which we would happily do again on Phillip Island. Thank you Jude.

We stayed there only one night 4 adults and 2,5 years child. House was big and cleaned there was all necessary, beddings, towels, soap etc. It is located in very nice area just short walk to the beach. We went to the other beach at cape Woolamai though. The owner was not at home but she left us clear instructions how to retrieve the key. We haven’t used wi-fi but there was a possibility to have it. Kitchen was small but all essential was there. The only thing when is really hot there is not air conditioning only a fan. We definitely would recommend this location.

Great Stay at Stacey's! We would highly recommend the chilled out, comfortable, clean, convenient house by the beach. It was exactly as stated, and exactly what our two boys, my wife and I were looking for..... The local beach suited my 12 and 15 YO boys who 'bogie boarded' for two days straight.....Played dictionary, explored the Island, cooked marsh-mellows, had a pub meal, went to the night market, and beached every day......What more could I say! THANKS!

Our stay in Stacey's accommodation couldn't have been better! Stacey accepted our booking the day of our stay and her communication was amazing. Stacey even turned the heaters on in the house just before our arrival as it was such a cold day - what a super host! The house was super cute and fitted out with every thing you need to help create a perfect stay, even electric blankets on the bed. The location is just perfect! We walked our dog along the beach which is about a 2 minute walk from Stacey's front door. We really appreciated being able to have Magnüs stay in the house with us and he loved roaming around in the garden. We highly, highly recommend staying at Stacey's house during your trip to Phillip Island. We had a great family stay at Peter's beach house. It looked like the pictures, the kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery & pans. The bbq worked beautifully & the outdoor seating area great for dinner (bring mozzie repellant). Check-in process fine with keylock safe easy to find. Walking distance to the beach in a quiet street. We found the place basic but just perfect for a weekender.

This place is perfect for groups or families. Was very clean and tidy, short walk down to the beach. We were only here one night but you could easily spend a weekend or more relaxing on the beautiful Phillip island. Gorgeous home, we loved our stay here! Highly recommended for all couples looking for a weekend away. Close enough to night life for evening fun, but secluded enough for alone time. Would definitely revisit.

The place was really well equipped and comfortable. Probably the only thing that we would mention is that the bed linen was not included in the prise which was a bit surprising. Other than that we had a great time. It was easy to reach out to Elisa with any questions that we had. I would highly recommend this place to stay. :)

The place was fantastic! It has a real beachy/holiday house feel. But works great in colder weather too with it's wood fireplace. Love the open layout and the upstairs area features a full size pool table and a great little home theatre setup. Just a few minutes away from the main street of Cowes, yet tucked away in a quiet community. Highly recommended.
