We had one of our loveliest holiday in Dominique's house, in this incredible beautiful piece of Normandie. The house is even more gorgeous than the pictures can capture and well equipped. With such a welcome host, a fireplace, home made apple jam, horses as neighbors, vide greniers all around you and picture perfect hills in the surroundings you can hardly wish for anything else to make your holiday superb! (the broadband was completely reliable when we were there, but we pretended it wasn't working sometimes so we were able not to stay in touch :)

We spent in Dominique s House 5 days. From the first moment we felt there like at home. Everything was prepared for our visit was amzing the place , the cottage house was so beautiful and comfortable .We had everything what we needed for this days. Dominique is such a lovely nice host, she keep asking if everything is ok and if we still need something. I can only recommend to try it !!! We love it !! My two kids couldnt have enough to see the horses, pony and the two dogs everyday. There was everything that you need to live and have a good time. During our stay we had some questions and she answered us immediately - we found it very, very helpful. We had a great holiday and our family,wants desperately to get back there again ......... This is a beautiful location out in the countryside. We wish we were able to stay more than 1 day. Dominique met us on arrival and was very friendly. The children loved meeting her horses, dogs and pony. Great communication before we arrived also. We would stay again.

Dominique's gite is the perfect stop-off on the way back to Calais from the south west, and meant that my little boy could have some fun and space to run around and his own room to sleep in, while my wife and I would have some freedom to relax after he'd gone to bed. So much better than a hotel or B&B. Dominique was very welcoming, the gite is very calm and peaceful, and well equipped in that 'rustic French gite' sort of way. The nearby towns of Le Sap and Orbec are also lovely and well stocked.

Philip greeted us, we have not had the pleasure of meeting Dominica. A lovely, helpful staff, while respecting our independence. Very good advice for sightseeing. I advise and recommend!

We had a such a lovely stay and very warm welcome at Dominique and Philippe's idyllic cottage. Such a beautiful jewel in the countryside with easy access to many towns in the region. Easily accommodates a family of 5. The children roamed the fields and were invited to feed the horses, which they absolutely loved. Such perfect hosts - we plan to visit again next summer.

Dominique's house was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable for my family of five, and she and her husband made us feel very welcome. My children enjoyed having space to run and play, and especially had a terrific time playing with the archery set. The house itself was very comfortable, and the kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans, etc (I could have probably baked a wedding cake if I wanted to). A small drawback (depending on your point of view) was that we were absolutely in the middle of nowhere, and found ourselves racing the sun on one night, trying to get home before dark so we wouldn't get lost, despite our car's GPS (fortunately it was still light until 10:30 that night). A lovely stay.

How to say ? ... There is a house that is in the middle of the countryside, she is pretty, it is functional, there is not a sound. There are animals: cats, dogs, horses ... great people who know a lot of things and sharing the ... 4 days of happiness in a wonderful area ... Happy children who ask only one thing: leave! Thank you to Dominique and Philippe !! One downside: leave this little paradise!

Very pretty family home in the middle of an orchard, ideal to spend family time around a barbecue and to recharge with the green. The house is in a domain Pomiers in bloom, super quiet just cows are your neighbors, the garden is very nice with a barbacue, the rooms are comfortable and the wood stove lounge is very nice. Bruno is very available, it responds very quickly and her sister is super nice and very helpful. 100% recommendable if you are looking for quiet, good cheese and sidra.

We spent a weekend at the Patrick Gite with about 15 people and really enjoyed the stay. Patrick has given us a warm welcome, made us taste the cider that he makes himself and makes discover his passion. The cottage is ideal for a group of 15/20 people to sleep in and the reception room can easily accommodate about fifty people for major events. We highly recommend this place to spend a quiet weekend or to celebrate a special event (Wedding, birthday or other). We even used the barbecue in the garden on Sundays which was a real treat! The house is located in a typical old French village. Quite remote and make sure you have your Navigation updated. Ingrid was very hospitable and warm. Her place is a perfect getaway who is looking for tranquility and a urban escape, most especially if you're with a big family wanting time together. Amenities and home interior was exceptionally great! But make sure you bring your essentials and groceries if you're staying in the house longer. Closest market is probably 15-20 min away drive and difficult to find. But yes, we loved the place and wishing we could have spent more time in the house. Maybe next time... Ingrid was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay in the Normandy countryside. Beautiful house with everything you will need for cooking. Plus there were many rooms. We had two babies with us and Ingrid had a highchair and a crib available. Ingrid was available for questions when we would call or send messages. We had a problem with our rental car and Ingrid came right over to help us and helped us to get in touch with a company to help fix the car. We really appreciate everything and truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Wonderfully charming French Country home. So comfortable! My family wanted to stay longer but this place was great. If you are considering spending time in Normandy, this is a must. Make sure you find this place during the day as it is was difficult to locate with the GPS's in our vehicles at night without lights.

Stay here POST HASTE! Denis is not only a wonderful man, he runs a wonderful place and can tell you everything you want to know about the location. I stayed all over Normandy, in particular Calvados and this was the best place we stayed. You aren't far from the Calvados/cider trails, Cheese trails or even the DDay beaches if that is your thing. This is secluded and AMAZING. If you are looking for a place to experience nightlife this isn't for you but I honestly have to say after staying here I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Normandy.

Nous avons passé un agréable week-end chez Michèle et jean-Bernard,la maison peut facilement accueillir 10 personnes et est équipée . On a aussi profité de la très belle vue du jardin et de son barbecue. Il y a même des vaches qui sont sur la parcelle mitoyenne au jardin et qui sont venus nous rendre visite. Il y a quelques commerces de proximité dans le village à quelques mettre du (URL HIDDEN) recommande vivement cette maison.

The cottage Dean and Keri is very nice and perfect for a weekend calm and quiet in the countryside. The charm of the cottage and modern facilities mingles perfectly. Once there, we have not seen the time spent between stroll in the countryside, visiting small villages, day at Deauville and barbecue in the evening! Everything came together to make us spend a weekend perfect weekend away from the city and its pollution. The guesthouse is located in against bottom of the cottage, which gave us our privacy, without feeling alone in the world. Parents Dean and Keri were there to welcome us and advise us on all the nice places in the area. They are adorable and very pleasant to talk. This cottage is a great place to keep all weekend Lon wishes to spend in the country, the sun! Possibility to go in couple, family (2 adults, 2 children) or friends (4 max). Obligation to have the car, otherwise any possible movement.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Ticheville. The house is lovely, obviously built with love and has everything you could need - comfortable beds, good shower and even a decent set of knives ( a rare commodity in self catering!). The setting is perfectly tranquil with many birds to observe, plus we saw a family of wild boar along the road on the way back one night which was amazing. Dean and Kerri made everything simple and Dean's parents welcomed us and were helpful throughout. Thank you!

Très bon accueil de la part des parents de Dean et il y a tout ce qu'il faut sur place pour passer un très bon séjour normand, y compris sous la pluie... Attention cependant pour les personnes peu sures d'elles dans la conduite automobile hors goudron : il vous faudra parcourir plus d'un kilomètre sur un chemin de terre pas évident pour atteindre la maison.

We had a lovely time in this beautiful and tranquil location. The children had huge amounts of space to play and have fun and loved staying in a room with bunk beds. Marie-Therese was a very gracious host, coping with our pigeon french! We had a very warm welcome, which was easily arranged. The house is easily found and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. The kitchen is a little old, but we were able to, prepare all the meals we wanted with no problems. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery. We would love to visit again!

Le séjour s´est bien passé. La vue est vraiment belle, on se croyait en suisse... On a pas pu voir Marie-Therese mais tout s´est bien passé. Il y avait juste une panne de chauffage. La maison est bien equipée pour pouvoir se préparer un bon repas du jour de l´an entre amis ce qu´on a fait ;) Merci!
