Pilar es una chica encantadora y de lo más servicial y accesible.Desde el primer momento hasta el último hizo todo lo posible por ayudarnos a hacer nuestra estancia estupenda. La casa es muy cómoda y perfecta para pasar unos días de vacaciones. La ubicación en sí misma,no tiene mucho atractivo,pero las vistas desde una parte de la casa ,son muy verdes y relajantes.Por el,otro lado son más feas debido a la construcción de un centro comercial,lo que a su (URL HIDDEN) cómodo para el que va. Además,la casa está situada geográficamente en un lugar estratégico para visitar los lugares de interés de Galicia y Norte de Portugal. A la casa no le faltaba nada para hacer cómoda la (URL HIDDEN) nueva y con pocos trastos para limpiar. Sin duda recomendaría esta casa para hacer turismo y pasar unos días de vacaciones. Nosotros hemos pasado allí cinco días de vacaciones y lo hemos pasado genial

Great house to stay with many people, with rooms to spare. They have a huge garden were you can enjoy nature and have a walk at the ecological route. There are many supermarkets nearby. Near the highway to visit places in both Portugal and Spain. We do recommend to visit Vigo and the islands of Cíes and Ourense with it's thermal baths. Just before border of Spain you have a nice restaurant called Sabores which we liked a lot.

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Troporiz! Magnus' home is beautiful (just like the pictures) and Phil was a very kind, attentive, and accommodating caretaker. The house was well-equipped and roomy enough for our family of 12, and the kids had a great time playing on the trampoline and running around in the yard. The location was also ideal for swimming in the river and taking day trips to Tui, Baiona, Pontevedra, etc. It was a great experience and ideal location for a family getaway. The only issue that bears mentioning is that we arrived the day after some pretty heavy rain. As the house is an eco-house built onto the side of a hill, the downstairs part of the house smelled very strongly of humidity from the rain and moisture, which was hard to overcome. We understand that this was due to forces of nature outside anyone's control, and Phil was great in helping find solutions to lessen the smell. However, it deterred us from using the downstairs portion of the house for most of the trip. Overall, Magnus was extremely responsive and the treatment we received from Phil while at the house was superb. Best wishes and thank you Magnus and Phil!

We had a great time at Magnus spacious' villa in Troporiz. The house is much more beautiful than in pictures. We were 3 family who chose to spend new year Eve here (3 days) and we loved it. The villa is very clean, warm, cosy and the decoration of all rooms and common areas is oustanding. Children spent their time in the big living room in ground floor playing games and reading books. We went walking in the Ecopista and were delighted to use bikes provided in the house. Diana's welcoming was very warm and we felt as we were in friends' house. Thank you for providing such a great house to other people. We would like to come back in summer time because there are plenty of things to do near Troporiz: visiting Monção, Valença, Spain is very close and Mondariz Thermal bath are great. This is a wonderful house full equiped! You feel like in your own house. Kitchen is amaizing. Big bedrooms and very nice bathroom. The kids enjoyed the garden and the river (5mn walk). Phil and Diane the housekeeper help you for any kind of request. They are really nice people. I will come back and spend more time here.

I think my English is not good enough to express how much thankful I feel with Magnus, cause he has let us enjoy that little, so beauty and peaceful paradise he has at Troporiz village in Portugal; where we received Year 2015. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magnus' house in Troporiz. We were traveling with friends, four adults, four children. The location is perfect, in a beautiful area of the Minho, close to the Spanish border. The house has everything you could ask for. It is well equipped, with a lovely big kitchen. A lot of attention has been put into every detail and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Because if the heat wave with temperatures rising over 40 degrees celcius, we didn't use the outdoor area with the tipi tent and outdoor kitchen as much as we would have liked. Still, we prepared homemade pizza and ribs from the local butcher in the outdoor (pizza)oven. Daily trips to dip in the nearby stream or river were made, what a beautiful area this is! Phil And Diana, the caretakers of the property were very helpful and non intrusive. The dogs that would pay us a visit in the evening were very friendly, and didn't bark. The kids loved them! Three supermarkets are nearby to get everything you need. On really hot days both Spanish and Portuguese beaches are at driving distance. We loved Moledo beach in Portugal and Patos beach, Nigran, in Spain. Overall, we would highly recommend this place. Thank you Magnus for sharing your house with us! Gabrielle

Magnus house is absolutely perfect. Really well decorated, you feel at home. The house keepers are the most wellcoming people ever. There are bycicles you can use to go to a cycle-via by the river - amazing! and also a river beach near by.

Pasamos 4 días en casa de Pilar y estuvimos como en casa , es una casita con mucho encanto, en una zona tranquila, que a su vez esta cerca de zonas de interes, playas, balnearios, Portugal.... El trato con Pilar fantástico nos recomendó zonas a visitar y restaurantes dónde poder degustar platos típicos de la zona. Sin duda repetiremos.

Pilar est quelqu'un de vraiment gentille, accueillante et très attentionnée que ce soit avant et pendant notre séjour. Elle nous a accueillis en personne à bras ouvert avec des petits cadeaux de bienvenu. Elle nous a conseillé des coins à visiter, sa famille est vraiment gentille également. Cela a été une belle rencontre. La mainson et son jardin sont agrèables.

La casa estaba genial muy limpia y con todo lo necesario. Lo mejor el jardín amplio y con agua para refescarte. Pilar siempre atenta por si nos faltaba algo. Gracias.

La casa es pequeñita pero suficiente. Las fotos la hacen parecer más grande, por lo que cuando llegué me quedé un poco bloqueada. Todo cambió según la fui viviendo. Te sientes como en casa, es muy cómoda, situada en una ubicación privilegiada en Salvatierra, con todo cerca, incluso un restaurante muy gallego a 2' andando. El jardín te da mucho juego. Pilar ha estado muy atenta a todo y siempre procurando que te sintieras genial. Hemos estado muy a gusto, así que repetiremos seguro.

Hemos estado en casa de Pilar como si de nuestra casa se tratara. El lugar es perfecto para pasar unas vacaciones en las Rías Bajas gallegas. La estancia, comodísima, tiene de todo lo necesario y además, es muy bonita. El jardín, el interior, el huerto, la hamaca... todo perfecto... La hospitalidad de Pilar no tiene fin. Nos ha tratado fenomenal y ha hecho todo lo que ha estado en su mano para ayudarnos en lo que necesitáramos. Mil gracias por todo. Sin duda si volvemos a esta zona de Galicia, volveremos a hospedarnos aquí. Casa recomendable 100%.

Mary-Carmen et Fernando nous ont très bien accueillis, le contact a été facilité par le fait que Fernando parle un peu le français, ils nous aidés à trouver la route, le contact é été constant et suivi, Mary est venue nous accueillir au village voisin et nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis bien à l'aise. Mary est souriante, disponible et attentionnée, Fernando nous a dispensés ses conseils pour la visite de la région, ce fut une belle rencontre avec eux. La piscine est grande et très agréable et l'environnement calme et paisible, la propreté de la maison est parfaite nous recommandons bien sur cette adresse.

Un lugar bien comunicado para realizar todo tipo de escursiones . El entorno es precioso . Si quieres descansar de tanto bullicio es el lugar ideal . El trato recibido a sido muy agradable lo cual me llega a pensar en repetir en un futuro proximo esta experiencia

Un trato inmejorable, tuvieron un montón de detalles desde el primer día de llegada, nos informaron de toda la zona, dónde ir, dónde comer....realmente hemos disfrutado. Gracias Nieves.

Baja potencia eléctrica ¡cuidado poner dos fuegos!. Los cuadros de luces no está en la casa sino en la entrada principal de coche y acceso a la zona privada. Recomiendo previamente limpiar a ser posible todo. Hay olores de humedad bajo fregadero, y las mantas no tiene olor que indique limpieza. Sobre la dueña (Nieves) no me ha gustado su despedida, yo quería salir a una hora y tuve que insistir después de esperar más de 30 minutos que cuando llegaría a recoger la llave. Mi sorpresa es que no se encontraba ubicada en una zona cercana. Me chupé una caravana que pretendía evitar, salí una hora y media más tarde de lo que yo tenía planificado.

En general cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Eso sí, recomendaría un poco más de limpieza y renovar algunas cosas.

Fue una estancia fantástica. Juan Carlos y Nieves hicieron todo lo posible para que nos sintieramos como en casa, y de veras que lo consiguieron. La casita de campo perfecta, con todas las comodidades. Tranquilidad y silencio. El entorno una maravilla. Los vecinos muy amables. Todos los servicios muy cerca. Para repetir. La ubicación muy buena, nos permitió movernos y recorrer la zona, tanto en coche como a pié. En general perfecto. Gracias familia por contribuir a que nuestro viaje fuera una experiencia maravillosa.

We stayed at Francisco's cottage for 4 nights. The place was beautiful, location was perfect for us and all facilities were there. We had a warm welcome by francisco's parents, who showed us around in the beautifully restored cottage and even provided us with wine, bread and homemade marmelade. We really appreciated that! The cottage can be difficult to find, but Francisco's driving instructions (with photo's) were very helpful and clear. And the communication with him was always quick and pleasant. The area around the pine cottage is beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed the garden and the nice view over the vineyard. It's definitely a place where we would love to come back some day!

We had a great time at Pine cottage, lovely stone house with a beautiful large garden. Fransisco's parents were very friendly and warm hosts. They (and their sons) renovated the house perfectly beautiful, with lots of authentic details. We've made long walks and visited several times the beautiful small town Monçao. We loved it.

The cottage looks much like the pictures, if not more beautiful. The village, the house, the garden, the river, everything quietly beautiful. Very nice and helpful host. I would like to come back to hide in this paradise again. Will recommend to anyone who wants a calm and refreshing vacation.

Pine Cottage was a delight and lived up to everything that was advertised. The accommodation was very comfortable and homely and the gardens and location absolutely wonderful. Francisco was a fantastic host, providing all of the information we needed to find the cottage and in touch quickly when we had one or two questions. His parents were on hand when we arrived, showed us around and made us feel very welcome. We had a truly lovely time exploring the local area (and the local wine). A week, was not long enough to see and do everything: we hope to come back!

This very old farmers house has been redeveloped to a very cosy, elegant villa by Francisco and family. The furnishing and inventory is complete for more than a holiday only; one can live here. In the beautiful garden you have full privacy and the ouside shower in the sun is great fun. Down the road you can swim in the river. A tremendous place to stay if you like nature and living outside. We have had a great time. Thanks a lot.

My family has enjoyed Pine Cottage. The place is beautiful, very nice and quiet house. It has been refurbished with taste. It is a haven of peace. We thank Francisco and his parents for their hospitality, their kindness.

Sensational cottage, location and very special hosts. We ended our stay in Portugal here in Moncao and it was bliss, Exceeded all of our expectations. We would recommend the Pine cottage for anyone looking for a quiet retreat, especially for anyone with a passion for immaculately restored buildings, which was a highlight for us.

We had a great time at Francisco's place. A warm welcome from his father and his brother and found a very nice and stylish renovated cottage. Kids and parents were happy (as well as the dog). Good equipped kitchen, fantastic fireplace. Very private. We can definitely recommend a stay at Francisco's cottage. BTW: perfect directions for arrival!

The house is mostly spacious and very modern, with impressive attention to detail in the bathroom. The master bedroom is quite big, with two big beds, and the second bedroom is also quite roomy. Ana left us quite a few things to help make our stay accomodating, which we weren't expecting. You should know that this place is not accessible at all with public transportation. You will be in the middle of the northern Portuguese countryside, surrounded by vineyards and orchards.

La estancia en casa de Belén ha sido genial. La casita Boba, como la hemos bautizado :) está ubicada de tal manera que se puede conocer genial la zona de Vigo y alrededores e incluso desplazarte hasta Portugal. Se trata de un lugar muy bonito y a pesar de estar en una aldea, bien comunicado, a muy pocos minutos de la autovía, ideal para disfrutarla con amigos. Tiene un cenador amplio y preparado para pasar un buen rato y una piscina grande con jardín. Las estancias interiores y el baño son el punto débil de la casa. En cualquier caso, siempre puedes contar con la ayuda de Belén porque vive en el piso superior de la casa. Y si te gustan los perros, la casa está siempre protegida por varios.

Belén es una anfitriona muy amable y accesible, nos hizo la estancia muy agradable.

Amplia y cómoda casa en una enorme finca. Animales, piscina, tenis, viñedos... y vino de la propiedad esperando por sus huéspedes en la nevera. Ideal para relajarse y desconectar de todo. El trato de Natalia y su familia fue genial y además nos llevó a visitar su bodega de vino Albariño ecológico. Muy recomendable

Adoramos o espaço e a nossa anfitriã) A propriedade fica num sítio muito sossegado, e tem uma sala/cozinha muito amplas. O preço é adequado, e a Natália foi uma simpatia. Recomendo!

Natalia es encantadora y estuvo siempre disponible para nuestras horas de llegada y salida, además tuvo el detalle de dejarnos unas botellas de su vino ecológico que es una maravilla. La casa es simplemente maravillosa, mi familia y yo pasamos un fin de semana perfecto. El entorno es maravilloso y las instalaciones no dejan nada que desear, le dimos uso a todo, a la currasquera, a la piscina, a la pista de tenis... La verdad es que las fotos no le hacen justicia a la casa porque es impresionante. Todo perfecto, volvería sin dudarlo!
