This is a lovely apartment and kept very clean. I was expected to have my sheets cleaned on my own so I took them to the Launderia. The room has a full size bed and enough storage for your things. It is upstairs so if you cannot climb it would not be good for you. It is close to restaurants and tuc tuc transportation. The view from the apartment is amazing. The apartment is rather open so for showering purposes bring a robe.

We greatly appreciated this little hidden gem. We were close enough to everything yet got to spend some time relaxing in this beautiful, clean and charming private space. Our host Blake was sweet and easy to meet with, we definitely would recommend this spot.

My stay in Lago Atitlán couldn't have been more tranquil and rejuvenating - it was just as I'd hoped! The apartment is spacious, quiet, and with a wonderful of the lake and the volcanic peaks that surround it. With easy access to quaint restaurants and cafes, and a prime location on the lake itself (access to all the other towns nearby), I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

I had an enjoyable stay at this room in the Artist's Home in San Pedro. Blake, the host, coordinated the accommodations well and responded promptly to my questions. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet him in person. The room is well decorated and clean and is located near the popular tourist areas of San Pedro. I was the only one at the place during my stay, so I had the bathroom and shower to myself. I would recommend this place to travelers to San Pedro.

I loved this flat. It has a lovely vibe, everything works as described, and the Guatemalan family living downstairs are so nice. If you're looking to book in May/June, be aware that they're building upstairs and the banging starts about 6:30am. I was home writing in the mornings, though, and it didn't bother me that much. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Mynor and his family are the best hosts imaginable. They made my stay in San Pedro extra warm and welcoming. The apartment is beautiful and clean, with amazing views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. I enjoyed my stay so much, I didn't want to leave!

This is a great apartment, beautifully decorated, with quality furniture, a nice desk, comfortable bed, and amazing views (including access to a rooftop terrace). The internet works very well and the water is plenty hot. I liked the location, it's in a neighborhood just outside the tourist zone which makes you feel like a local, but still within walking distance to everything. Mynor's family was great, very helpful with anything we needed to know. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment is even better than the pictures, plenty of space for two people, very clean, great views and natural light, warm colors, comfy bed, nice sitting area and kitchen, separate dining area with table and chairs, good storage for clothes and suitcases. We had some initial questions about operating the shower faucet but with Mynor's assistance worked it out. Mynor and Josefa are warm and friendly hosts, and we hope to return for another stay.

This apartment has everything you could wish for. In San Pedro terms I am living like a king in this place. In terms of location this is just a few minutes walk to the main market and about 5/10 minutes to the central lake area (I.e where the boats dock). Mynor and his family have made me feel incredibly welcome (they live below the apartment which also means it's extremely safe) and have provided me with everything I have asked for and more. All in all a fantastic and friendly place to stay especially if you are here for a while and want something more than the hostel scene.

We've been travelling for 2mths and this has been our favourite AirBnb stay so far. The apartment is gorgeous and has everything you need. It even has a wok! The rooftop views of the lake and Volcan San Pedro are stunning. Mynor, Josepha and the kids are lovely people and very welcoming and helpful. Their two dogs were a real treat too. We enjoyed staying in a safe, residential neighbourhood that is only a short 10min walk into the 'touristy' area. When we come back, we'll definitely be staying here again.

Wow, such an amazing place, this is one of those situations where the pictures can´t show the real beauty of a place. The apartment is located a few miles away from town. A small hike is required to get to house Motmot, when you enter the property it´s incredible it looks like a small jungle. The apartment is so spacious and has an incredible view. Anne is very nice, and takes great care of the property. We definitely had a great time, and we´re looking forward for our next trip to house Motmot. Alessandra and Andres

My boyfriend & I spent 5 days at Anne's place & we absolutely loved it! The loft is really spacious and greatly furnished. Anne's welcoming guide received just after booking was really precise and helpful. Also, her warm welcome at our arrival + special attentions like a pasta and veggies basket so we could make dinner without going to the center of the city were more than appreciated. The garden is beautiful & we loved having a tour of it with extra explanations on Anne's story building the dream house. This is such an amazing and beautiful house to stay at for a lot of reasons. Anne is a very nice host and thinks about every detail. We had good communication and we received a travelers guide with the directions to casa Motmot, which made it easy to find. The view of the house is breath-taking and we would recommend this place to everyone. It's perfect for couples who want to enjoy the view and lake and who want's to have a relaxed weekend. We arrived quite late in San Pedro on a Sunday and Maria was kind enough to meet us in a local spot so that we could easily get to the studio. Our host was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, she even went as far to say that if we needed anything we could knock on her door at any time as she didn't live too far away. The studio itself was very clean and tidy, the view from the window was wonderful and made our stay there all the more special as we overlooked the lake every morning for sun rise. The kitchen was on the small side but had everything you would need to cook such as pots and pans , I would just recommend buying oil and cooking essentials at the market if you plan to eat at the studio during your stay. Maria also had fresh avocados and fruit that she left for us outside of the studio to use which was a very nice touch. Me and my wife would definitely love to visit again some time in the future. If you want a peaceful stay away from all the crowds this is the place for you , it's a short 20 minute walk the main restaurants and was idea for us.

Firstly, the view was beautiful and stunning. The assistant was very pleasant and spoke a workable amount of English and had a great attitude. There was a power/electrical outage due the weather (no one's fault) however, we had to go look for someone in the morning to tell us the status and get an update on the electricity. The water also went off. The helper came up to show us a backup valve to turn on the water. She told us that when the electricity comes to turn off the water. We had no idea when this would be. We left early after finally getting some water to get on with the activities in our itinerary. We came home to a flood. We had no idea this could happen, especially as guests. The helper was very pleasant and was cleaning up the water when we arrived. It all worked out ok in the end. However, better communication could have avoided this. The helper's pleasantness contributed to this working out. The water coming out of the pipes had a scent of chemical house cleaner like a pine. So when washing my hands, brushing my teeth, or preparing food in the kitchen, the taste and smell of pine house permeated whatever the water touched. Some all natural cleaners that don't leave a scent or taste, and without harsh chemicals would make a big difference. It is very unpleasant to have the taste of chemicals in your home prepared food. Also, the shower curtain (on the inside) had a little mold on it. We heard the sound of a washing machine a few nights. The wifi went out several times. Guests often may need access to wifi 24 hours while traveling. The view was very beautiful and the highlight of our stay there. The assistant was also very pleasant. It was nice to be received with a nice basket of organic fruit. The assistant who met us was very pleasant and helpful. Some all natural cleaners from the healthfood store for cleaning the bathroom, fridge, and kitchen would make for a much better experience with the water. If there is a power outage, it would be great if someone could come to check on guests who are far away from home.

Five star recommendation. Very clean and comfortable accommodation with private shower and great water pressure from the shower. The hot water is like in the US, just turn on the faucet and its hot, no plastic apparatus up top in the shower. Incredible view of the lake to wake up to every day. The cherry on top of it all is that Maria and Stephen are wonderful, hospitable people with a nice family. They are available for your every need and have avocadoes and other fresh fruit from their garden to share. We went on a kayak trip with Stephen on the lake. I recommend this if you want a peaceful retreat just a 10 minute tuktuk ride from the center of town.

Fantastic hosts! Stephen and his family did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible, from picking us up in town upon arrival, to taking us for a walk in the area, to organising yoghurt and fruit purchases from the local community, to organising transport. The unit is very comfortable and clean, and has a beautiful view over the lake day and night. Highly recommend and will not hesitate to come back in future.

A fantastic stay!! The apartment is perfect, a little out of town but a brilliant escape. The view from the balcony is stunning. Stephen's family were incredibly helpful, meeting us on arrival and making sure we had everything we could possibly need to ensure we had the best experience. Highly recommend!!

STAY HERE AND LEARN SPANISH! My wife and I had the most incredible 5 nights here in Maria and Stephen's beautiful apartment overlooking Lake Atitlan. It was very comfortable with all the amenities you would want. We were given a basket of food on arrival and were offered at cost organic coffee and yoghurt made fresh by the neighbour (which were amazing). On our first day Maria took us to the nearby local market so that we could buy cheap locally grown supplies for our stay and told us about the town. Maria also explained the prices we should pay for everything (which saved us so much). It was only Q10 to get into town from the apartment for both of us, or a nice 15 minutes walk. We took four days of Spanish lessons, my wife was with Maria and I was with her friend Jose. Both have over 20 years experience and were amazing - very relaxed, funny and able to tailor the lessons to our skill level with ease! We had four hours each day and learned so much in that time. Honestly Maria and Jose were incredible and I would recommend lessons with them no matter how much time you have - every day we learned so much more. What's more, the lessons were cheaper than all of the local schools, and we could take them at any time we wanted (including weekends) in the beautiful garden below our apartment. It was so convenient and meant that after the lessons we had plenty of time to explore San Pedro and surrounding towns. This was a highlight of our Central America trip and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

We had the most amazing time at Stephen's place. He and his family are the perfect hosts, surprising us with treats such as freshly squeezed lemonade, home grown and roasted peanuts and delicious bread! The apartment itself is great. The view of the lake from the room and balcony is incredible and the photos just don't do it justice. The location (being a bit out of town) is very peaceful, but everything you need is a stroll or a tuk-tuk away. Stephen and family are always happy to provide plenty of information and recommendations, and if you ask nicely Stephen might take you to his other bit of land down the road with a private beach and a variety of interesting crops. In summary, one of our favourite AirBnB stays yet and our only regret is that we had to leave! Thank you so much Stephen and family, and we hope to see you again in the future.

Nice little place with a great view to the lake, I did not get to know Stephen but his wife was very nice, she gave us fruit when we arrived and then some delicious homemade banana bread.

The house is perfect for nature lovers, for people who do not like the noise of bars or cars, in the house you only hear the birds in the day and the crickets at night, a delight! The 10mins walk into the center are very nice and Richard is a great host!

We have used Airbnb for most of our travels for the past few years and our stay at Luna Azul was by far our favorite experience. The Casita is wonderful and has so many of the little extras that were missing from other stays at Lake Atitlan (we stayed in 4 locations around the lake in a 2 wk period) like beverages (some for purchase, and hey-we were happy to walk in and have a cold beer!), breakfast items, a kitchen you could actually cook in, bottled water, nice towels (bath and kitchen), firewood... the list goes on... Everything was very clean, extremely comfortable and the space was nicely laid out. We loved the patio overlooking the lake and enjoyed spending time out there getting to know Erin and Solina, along with the guests downstairs (from London and Holland. It was so fun to hear their travel stories). We cannot say enough about how well we were treated by both Erin and Solina during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the company of both. Erin took us on a tour of San Pedro after showing us all the details of Casita and then joined us later for dinner before leaving on vacation the next morning. While she was away Solina was so welcoming and made us feel so much at home that we extended our stay by another night. We were extremely happy that we did, as this was by far our favorite part of our trip to the lake. San Pedro was lively and fun and Luna Azul was a big part of our enjoyment. Thank you to Erin and Solina for a wonderful stay!

Erin was as warm & friendly (& amusing) a host as I have ever stayed with. She responded instantly to any inquiry I sent, and she was ready with great recommendations for local food, tours, and massage. The casita was spacious and had a great view. The reason for my average rating was that I eventually grew fatigued fighting against the ants and spiders that wanted to share the space with me. I've traveled extensively in Central America, so I understand that to an extent, bugs are an inevitable part of the tropical travel experience. However, on two of my three nights, I encountered upwards of 10 big ants crawling around, plus many smaller ants crawling on uncool places like my bed and laptop. On the last night alone, I ended up killing four spiders -- two in the living room, one in the bedroom and one in the auxiliary room. Aside from the critters, this was a great place. Fast & reliable internet, many places to sit and read, and great cross breeze. Would recommend it.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Exactly as its advertised and beautiful. Erin was so welcoming and incredibly reliable. She gave excellent recommendations for things to do and restaurants. The location is great and we always felt safe walking back and forth from the center of town; nevertheless, getting a tuktuk back was always easy. Erin even called for a tuktuk to pick us up in the morning if we needed (though again, its not necessary unless you have all your luggage). The apartment was cleaned daily which was a great perk and we loved relaxing on the patio. I hope we return, and will certainly stay with Erin again if she will have us!

Five of us traveling to San Pedro for 14 days. We rented out the casita and one of the bed and breakfast bedrooms. I could not have been happier with our stay at Luna Azul. We were able to cook dinner together on most nights and enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets on the patio every day. The house is far enough away from all the noisy hostels, but close enough that it is only a 4-5 minute stroll into town. Solina and Erin were so kind and incredibly helpful. Erin took us on a walking tour the first day, set us up with an amazing cheese and wine reservation in a neighboring town, and provided countless suggestions. I loved staying there. It's safe and secure. They clean everyday. The bedroom below had a tasty breakfast each morning (which they catered to our changing schedule due to our Spanish classes). There's an amazing garden area below and a great private patio over looking the lake (off the casita). Right behind the house there's a mini beach, which we visited frequently. If you're looking for a non-hostel, quiet retreat, I would highly recommend staying at Solinas place. I hope to return someday. Thanks again for everything!!!

Great place and perfect location...we liked the quiet neighborhood and the walk to town..if you are not into walking the tuk-tuks come by all the time and the rides are very cheap...Miguel responded to our every need promptly and even bought a fan when my wife asked if they had one...we will stay here if we come back!

Lobo's place couldn't have been better for us. The apartment itself was a bit like the wing of a palace, the furnishings were beautiful and the view from the balconies were stunning. There are balconies on all sides of the room which give it a fairy tale feel. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, it was the best night's sleep we'd had for a long while. The grounds are well kept, with fruit trees all around which attract beautiful birds. Lobo's Labrador is the friendliest dog we've met on our travels through Central America, he's always so happy to see you! The only mild downside is that it's a bit of a walk from town but this is the price you pay for some peace away from the bustle of town. If you don't fancy the walk then you can hail a tuk tuk from the road within a few mins.

We had amazing 2 weeks at Doble Luna. We rented the smaller apartment but it's perfect for 2 people. The view on the lake is just breathtaking! Its a very quite place, away from the noisy town. If you take a tuktuk you're in san pedro "city" in 10min or less. Ada has two cute dogs and a cat, we enjoyed their company :) The lake is truly a magical place. We recommend going shopping at the local's market and cook yourself. The kitchen is fully equiped. Ada is a super friendly and caring host. She will make sure you enjoy your time! I'll definitely book again at Ada's when I come back.

Doble Luna is a lovely getaway spot, in a secluded area where you won't hear the lively nightlife of San Pedro. We often walked to town, but it was always easy to catch a tuc-tuc if we were in more of a hurry. Ada is a well organized and gracious host who clearly cares about her guests and their experience. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the lake and a fantastic outdoor area to enjoy the sun and relax.

A quiet and lovely place with good energy, best view and Ada, the sweetest host. We stayed in the small apartment for 4 nights and everything was just grate! The apartments are 5 min drive with tuk-tuk (10q per person) or a 20min walk from the noisy center of San Pedro. Ada made our stay to be perfect. We fall in love with this place and two dogs, Lora & Flora! Hope to come back some day.

Doble Luna is located outside of town with a scenic view of the lake. We enjoyed the outdoor table and hammock for cooking our own breakfast and relaxing during the day. The house was perfect for my girlfriend and I; comfortable bed, nice sized closet, clean bathroom with hot water and a full length mirror that my girlfriend enjoyed for getting ready. The kitchenette had all we needed for our stay and we thought the coffee provided was a nice touch. We loved all the information she provided about local activities and the books about the local culture of Guatemala. It is a 20 walk to market and 30 minute walk to the docks which we found very safe even coming home from the bar Sublime at 1 in the morning. The tuk tuk is only 5qs per person so we definitely took advantage of that as well. There is a restaurant less than five minutes away that apparently just opened, I believe called Restaurant a Mi's. it has WONDERFUL breakfast lunch and dinner and very very close. We also went to Hotel Del Arco for breakfast less than 5 minutes away that has great views for a close breakfast spot. Overall we loved San Pedro and Ada's place just enhanced our overall experience.

We stayed at Doble Luna for a month, and wow! If you're looking for the perfect spot to relax and chill just outside of town, this is it. First of all, the property is about a 25-30 min walk or 5-10Q tuk tuk ride from the town center, which made an ideal location us. We could enjoy a nice walk or get back quicker with a tuk tuk depending on how we were feeling. The apartment has a beautiful view of a garden accompanied by the lake. We loved sitting on the the front porch having coffee in the morning enjoying the picturesque backdrop . The house has all the basic essentials to make your stay very comfortable. Secondly, the owner, Ada. She is one of the most thoughtful, loving, and accommodating individuals that we have ever met. And everyone of those aspects shows in her property. We had a fantastic experience! Thanks again for everything, Ada!

This was our first experience with air bnb, and Stephen and his family were a great indroduction! The apartment was exactly as described (if not better!) Lake front view, beautiful yard and a short walk or cheap tuk tuk from the town centre & market. Our host made us feel at home and fielded any questions we had about the surrounding area. We had an amazing experience and look forward to returning in the near future!

Really pretty, quiet space outside of San Pedro! We chose the space to work remotely for a month, but we did have some pretty big problems with the internet so we ended up spending a lot of money and time in town and were not able to fully enjoy the big beautiful patio or large kitchen space. Stephen and Maria were really helpful in recommending short day and weekend trips for us (ask Stephen about hiking!) and Maria gave lovely Spanish lessons.

We expected a good apartment from the reviews but everything exceeded our expectations. THe family are charming and helpful and it's been a wonderful experience in San Pedro and Guatemala.

The apartment was great! We had everything we need. The view is amazing right to the lake. It's a little bit far from the center but it's easy and cheap to get there with toktok. Stephan׳s family was really nice, they helped us with everything we needed. I definitely recommend this place! El apartamento estaba muy bien! Teníamos todo lo que necesitamos. A view to die for This apartement must have one of the best views of Lago de Atitlan in San Pedro. It has a huge terrace from which you have a 200 degrees view of the lake. It is located in the quiet suburb of Santa Maria at a short tuk-tuk ride of San Pedro where I only went for supplies and visit a bit, I spent the rest of the time on the terrace. It is quiet at night far from barking dogs and the bedroom being located at the back of the house built on a hillside, it is like sleeping in a vault. Comfortable bed. The apt is big and the kitchen is well equipped, anything missing is quickly supplied by Maria, she also supplies you free with bananas, avocados, limes and oranges. She can arrange to buy good bio coffee and milk and yogurt from neighbors. Shower with hot water, good gas stove. The apt has it's own wifi modem and it works fine. The only drawback at the moment is that there is a house being built next door and there is noise from seven till four but it is not constant and they stop for an hour for lunch at noon. It is a bit annoying, no doubt, but I got along by wearing ear plugs and kinda forgot about it.The family is absolutely charming and of good service. I highly recommend this apt and would gladly return for a longer stay, I stayed 6 days and was sad to leave. The weather at Lake Atitlan is perfect, balmy, windy, cool at night. If you like peace and quiet, look no more, this is the place. A restaurant nearby has fairly good cheap food and you can take out to eat on your terrace. The mercado in San Pedro has good supplies. You will find beer and wine at Andy's in front of the bank where they only change 50 or 100$ dollar bills at a mediocre rate. US $ are nearly useless in Guatemala, it is better to retrieve quetzales from an ATM machine but they can be fickle, never wait for the last minute.

We had such a lovely stay here. The house is as pictured and clean but the real gem is the balcony. You could swing in the hammock looking at the view all day. We booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 4. Stephen, Maria and her beautiful family made staying here even better. They were so accommodating, booking us Tuk Tuks whenever we needed them, bringing up little treats like nuts and giving us any information we needed. They kept our privacy while being super helpful - we'll definitely be back!

Maria and Stephen were very kind in letting us share their love of nature and making us their vegetable garden and fruit trees. We last minute booked this apartment and only stayed for one night but wish we would've stayed longer. The apartment is huge and more than enough space for two people. The best part of the apartment is definitely the view! The wrap around porch is wonderful and we could've sat there all day if we didn't have to leave. The walk into town is about 15-20 minutes but mostly downhill so pretty easy. You'll want to take a tuk tuk to the hotel which will cost you 10Q a person. Would stay here again!

This place is well built but a lot of stuff didn't work. The stove wasn't working, there was no toilet paper, lights were bare bulbs coming from the ceiling and the coffee maker was disgusting and wasn't usable. Having said that, everything else was nice and the view off the deck was absolutely incredible. The view ended up being one of our favorite things on the trip.

Great spot, situated between San Pedro and San Juan. Beautiful vistas of the lake. I would recommend this accommodation.

This was an amazing place to stay! The pictures looked so beautiful, I thought I might be disappointed when I saw it in person, but it is every bit as amazing as the pictures show. Liliana was very lovely and accommodating. My friend and I cooked most of our meals during our stay and the kitchen had all of the essential utensils. The view was incredible, and it's nicely tucked between San Pedro and San Juan, with easy access to both. It felt very secluded and safe. A perfect getaway. The only downside was the evangelical church nearby that played loud music a majority of the time we were there. Despite that, I had a lovely time and will definitely make it a regular spot!

Absolutly beautiful apartment with amazing deck. Kitchen was fully equipped with even a coffee maker. Walking distance to both towns on either side which have plenty of shops and restaurants. We never felt unsafe even walking in town past sunset. We very much enjoyed our time and wished we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this place.

Had an amazing stay at Lilian's place. We stayed there for two non-contiguous days before and after a 3-day hike. We stayed at two different cottages during our stay. These cottages are part of a place called Chi-Ya that offers several different cottages to rent. The two we stayed at, and I think the rest, all have breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains. The first cottage we stayed at was more basic, but the second one had a small kitchen as well. This place is between San Pedro and San Juan, you could walk to either of the two towns in around 20 minutes but getting a tuktuk is mch more convenient and only costs 10Q/pp. We had a bit of difficulty to coordinate with Lilian to arrange our arrival, and there was a bit of mixed up regarding our reservation, but it was all handled well by her at the end and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful setting. The scenery was breathtaking and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was a little difficult to find in the dark without clarity on where to collect the keys, but this was resolved when we called on a neighbour who knew the arrangement. Overall, a great place to visit.

This is a perfect base from which to travel around the lake. San Juan is the quietest town and really nice to visit, with beautiful textiles and handicraft. The house is just outside San Juan and looks straight out on to the lake. It's fully equipped and comfortable. Pedro and his wife, Candy are excellent hosts and are genuinely concerned with helping out with whatever you might need. In short: great!

We were welcomed and walked around the space by the housekeeper, he was very friendly and we felt very welcome. The space was quiet and away from the bustle of any town, the views were beautiful and the balcony looking over the lake a peaceful place to relax and be immersed in nature. However we walked into town regularly (about 5 minutes), at night we took a tuktuk as there are not street lights, however we felt very safe. Communicating with hosts was pleasurable and they answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently, and also provided a map to find the house. I would highly recommend staying in this space if you prefer to be away from main town, immersed in quiet, yet still able to access a market and restaurants. Thank you very much!

We stayed booked the apartment for a week and after a couple of days decided to stay for an extra week as we fell in love with the location, especially the view across Lago Atitlan. The apartment itself is very spacious, with comfortable furniture and a huge balcony. The apartment is easy walking distance into San Juan where it is convenient to pick up transport to other parts of the lake. If you're looking for a little seclusion, this place is perfect!

Definitely recommend this place (especially if you want to get out of the really touristy areas). We fell in love with the city of San Juan and its artistry and Joseph's house accommodated our needs perfectly! We ran out of gas for the stove one night but we let Pedro know and he promptly brought us gas the next morning and his wife checked on us again later! Very friendly and very safe! Awesome views too!

This place is amazing, if you want close access to the city this is the right place. You have a beautiful view of the lake and all amenities needed are there! Just be aware that if you go to San Pedro and go back home late is going to cost between 100-200 quetzales. Rather than that, totally worth it!

Beautiful secluded house with a wonderful view. This place is great if you're looking to get away from it all. San Juan is a quiet community, and the house is a little outside of town, so if you want peace and quiet, this is the place. With San Pedro just a short tuktuk ride away you can access a greater variety of restaurants, as well as bars and nightlife if you choose. Joseph's house is modern and spotlessly clean. We had a few speeder spider friends inside, but that's barrel for a house in the countryside. The wifi is strong enough to stream Netflix and the shower is hot with good pressure. Neither of those are givens in Guatemala so they bear mentioning. Also, I'm not sure how but the house stayed cool inside even in the heat of the middle of the day while we were there. It was very comfortable to just lounge around on the sofa and read in the afternoon. Check in and check out are really simple with the lovely Guatemalan family living downstairs.

Such a cute and quaint house. Exactly as described and a wonderful value for your money. Will definitely stay again!
