We loved our little cottage on the key! Convenient to everything, clean and fit our needs. Four stars instead of five only because the A/C was less effective than we would have liked.

This is a very cute and cozy cottage within walking distance from the beach and Siesta Key Village (where all of the shops and restaurants are). Everything was exactly as described and me and my husband were extremely satisfied. The house and town are dog friendly but the beach is not but Betsy was helpful by suggesting a dog friendly beach before our arrival (which we loved by the way!!). If we ever vacation in Siesta Key again we will definitely reserve this house.

Nice little Florida cottage, good for two adults. Close to the beach, all as described. The only issue we had was very little water pressure in the bathroom for brushing teeth and taking shower. Would be nice to have garbage disposal in the kitchen sink.

We loved the location of the cottage. It was perfect for walking into the beach and being able to ride the provided bicycles into town. We also really enjoyed that Betsy gave us our privacy throughout our week stay. Our only complaints were that the wi-fi signal was not strong enough for either of us to connect, the washer-dryer was in the house next door which is shared with other tenants, and the air conditioner in the living room leaked condensation on the floor everyday. Otherwise, this is a total bargain of a rental. Thanks!

Betsy's cottage was very comfy and in an excellent location. Everything was very neat and exactly as seen in the pictures. She was quick to respond to any questions prior to our stay and check in/out was a breeze. We had a very positive experience and would definitely be back to siesta key and to the cottage! As a small family with a dog and a baby my wife and I were very pleased with the setup and amenities Betsy included as well as being in walking distance to the beach and village! Betsy's quaint cottage was exactly as described in the listing. It was small, but very clean and comfortable. The best part about the property was its location! After arriving, we didn't need to get back in the car--everything was within walking or biking distance which was fantastic. Betsy was very accommodating and our stay was very pleasant.

This cottage was perfect for our stay is Siesta Key! It was located in the best spot possible... within walking distance from the beaches and the village. A rental car wasn't even needed since everything was so close! The neighbors were mostly renters on vacation as well, providing a fun but laid back atmosphere. The house was well equipt, with everything we needed and more. Betsy answered all of my questions quickly and it was overall a wonderful experience :) I can't wait to stay again!

We loved staying here! It is right on the beach and close to everything! The amenities were perfect and the view from the balcony was spectacular. I did yoga on the deck every morning and was just in heaven. We will definitely be returning for another stay soon! I highly recommend this airbnb. You will not be disappointed. Excellent location right in the heart of Siesta Key. Literally 3 minute walk to the main strip of bars and restaurants and shops, and a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach in the US. Check in/out was super easy thanks to easy instructions and a lock box. Will stay again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We really enjoyed our stay!! It is a "hidden jewel." It was super cozy, clean, family friendly and close to everything...beach, eating, shops nightlife...yet is very quiet and serene. It's great for a family with kids, like ourselves, or for a business stay. Betsy was so easy to work and communicate with!! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!! The neighbors were a lot of fun too!!

Clean, safe and the perfect location! Just a few minutes to walk to the beach and only a minute or so from the strip of main attractions. Despite this, things felt quiet. The neighbors were friendly. Will definitely try to book this place again if I find myself traveling to Siesta Key.

Betsy's hospitality coupled with the location of this beautiful stay exceeded every expectation we had. There are three entrances to the beach all within a 3-10 min walk. It's nice, because it is at the north most part of Siesta Key which means fewer tourists and more seclusion. Betsy thought out every detail...nice large beach towels, beach chairs, a nifty little cooler alone with a reusable frozen pack already icy in the fridge. After long days on the beach, we would freshen up in an immaculately clean bathroom and make dinner in a kitchen stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes, and silverware. The oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and newer washer and dryer was a nice plus. The TV was huge and she had every channel of cable and on-demands available. For bed, it was a plush king size bed with a ton of pillows and a quilt-like comforter. We did not bring children or guests, but the second bedroom was spacious and I'd imagine perfect for 2 more people. We were happy to discover that we were adjacent to the main part of town where the drug store, grocery store, and most importantly - ice cream - were only a 3-5 min walk. Highly recommended, as we plan to return here in September for another stay with Betsy

Very cool hosts sharing their home. Location is in a quiet area and is great for walking to the #1 beach or to the Village in the evening for live music and great restaurants. Enjoyed Drew's artwork and Kim's stage photos and breakfast time with the hosts. Looking forward to my next stay!

Our experience was wonderful from the moment of arrival. Both Kim and Drew greeted us with a warm welcome. They made us feel as though we were truly a part of their family. Their home is comfortable, warm and inviting - as are the hosts. Our room was comfortable and we looked forward to retiring to it at the end of every busy day. Breakfast was prepared and snacks were provided. I can't say enough positive things about this experience. We haven't normally felt we wanted to stay at Bed and Breakfasts, but this experience has certainly changed how we feel. A big thank you to both Kim and Drew for opening their home and making us feel like we were at our 'home away from home.'

Staying at Kim and Drew's house is a pleasure. They are super warm, friendly and inviting hosts that offer you into their home with open arms and big smile. The rooms are comfy, cozy and clean, and the kitchen is chalked full of amenities they are generous in sharing with you. If you are lucky Drew will share some of his delicious homemade "Drew Brew" Kombucha. This lovely home is perfectly located within walking distance to Siesta Key Beach, all the little restaurants and hot spots. A private hot-tub out back made for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend!

Kim and Drew are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The house is very comfortable and plenty of space to sit outside of the bedroom. The area is quiet. The house has an eclectic personality that shows the creative side of these two people. Absolutely love it. Also enjoyed the hot tub. I will go back.

Drew & Kim were lovely and very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable (i believe our room was named 'the retreat') and Drew and kim went out of their way to make a stay with them above and beyond any normal airbnb experience (for example with the jacuzzi and the breakfast). Highly recommended!!

Kim and Drew were phenomenal hosts, and made our vacation so much more enjoyable than it would have been if we had stayed at a hotel. They have the great fortune to live within walking distance of excellent restaurants, bars, rental agencies, drug and grocery stores, and most importantly, a beach with sand like powdered sugar and warm water. Our room was very peaceful, and the bathroom and kitchen amenities were more than sufficient. Our morning breakfasts were awesome! We didn't go about our day without an empty stomach. We were very happy that Kim and Drew provided beach chairs, beach towels, and a large cooler for a trips to the beach. Overall, Kim and Drew were fantastic to stay with! They are courteous, approachable, and loving people. Our experience was similar to staying with a family friend. If we were to visit Siesta Key again, we wouldn't hesitate to book our stay with Kim and Drew!

The neighborhood was lovely and very close to the beach. The house was beautiful, like an art museum with so much wonderful art. The hosts were spectacular! Made me feel very welcome and had everything you could possibly need. If you go to the beach they have all the equipment for the beach too! They are very thoughtful and kind, a real pleasure to stay with. They went above and beyond and even gave me ride somewhere at one point. An added bonus is they are also Uber drivers so if you need an ride, it is in house! Look forward to staying again.

Fabulous place! Perfect for a family. Kids enjoyed the pool and kayaking in the canal. Short walk to the most beautiful beach with white sand that doesn't get hot! The beach entrance has no parking so that part of the beach isn't crowded! Walking distance to the Village too. Loved it! Would stay again!

My family, 3 adults, two kids and our friends, two adults, one kid, had a blast for a week in this beautiful house. The house was spotless clean and well equipped with all possible needs . We enjoyed the pool, the BBQ, the canal in the backyard (though we only caught 3 fish...), kayaking, and the quick walk to the most beautiful beach. Thank you, we hope to be back when it snows in Illinois next time!

We chose Jim's home to celebrate our marriage with our three teenage children. The home is upscale with quite a few special amenities. It is secluded and private with only a nice walk to restaurant, shopping options. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes - a cart and beach items are available for your use. THAT was extremely helpful and an added treat!! We definitely intend on staying her again! Our year anniversary will be here before we know it!! Thank you again Jim - it was a pleasure!

Best of the cottage is located steps from the beach. It is a simple hut which is very good when traveling with children since there is nothing valuable breakable. Everything worked perfect. A little musty smell normal beach house. The host immediately answered our questions and gave us data to make during the New Year. Would happy again.

This cottage is within steps to Siesta Key public beach so the location is incredible for families because the beach access is so easy. The cottage has multiple bedrooms with very comfortable beds so everyone has space to relax. We were also able to rent bikes for a reasonable price and ride to Siesta Key village, though walking is quite easy too. Sarasota is very hot during the summer months so the solid ac at the cottage always made it a wonderful haven.

I would highly recommend this house to anyone traveling to Siesta Key! It's right across from the beach and minutes away from the adorable Siesta Key village! Our family of 5 had more than enough room, and the backyard provided a great space for our dogs to play since dogs aren't allowed on the beach! Richard was also wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay!

Wow, this has to be the best rental in Siesta! It's close to the beach and downtown, plus it's very well kept. From the outside you'd think that all of the bedrooms are crammed together, but in actuality the inside is very spacious. Richard communicated everything well, and was quick to respond to questions... an excellent host! There were 4 of us (2 couples), and we all agreed we'll definitely be back!

This cozy cottage was the perfect place to stay for a vacation. Newly renovated and very cute decor. It is basically beach front and how easy it is to walk to restaurants and shops is amazing. We were able to walk to the beach come back for lunch and go back out again. Jessica was very easy to communicate with and was very helpful. Siesta key has something for all ages and we highly recommend coming here.

This was an amazing trip. My boyfriend and I truly loved our experience at the bungalow. It was very close to both Siesta Village (where all the restaurants and night life is) as well as the beach. It was a 5 min walk to the village and 2 min walk to the beach. We rented bikes as well to get around the entire key. There was no need for a car unless you wanted to go to Sarasota which would be 20 min bike ride. Garrett was very accommodating for our arrival and answered any questions while we were there. Beach chairs, umbrella, and towels were provided which really came in handy. The place was very clean and modern and pictures were accurate. We recommend this bungalow to anyone.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable suite LITERALLY 50 steps away from gorgeous Siesta Key Beach. The location is truly unbeatable. Virginia was a great host. She was very attentive, and communication before check in was very good. The pool is gorgeous and the apartment and surrounding area is decorated very beachy and homey.

If you want to be in the "heart" of Siesta Key Village this is the place to be. Close to everything. You'll never need to get in your car if you don't want to. Short walk, five minutes, to beach. Only heads up is that the band at place next door will be heard to 11 on weeknights and after 12 on weekends. Didn't bother us as we liked to sit on deck and listen. Barb was a great host and responded promptly to all emails.

Gorgeous apartment, beautifully decorated and centrally located. The noise level was fine for us and made for a fun holiday weekend.

My husband and I went for an anniversary weekend, staying 3 nights/4 days... AND WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE! From the moment we got to the property we were in love. The whole building seemed recently renovated (even the elevator) and I don't think they could've done a better job! The stand up shower was so nice, and I loved the extra storage and counter space in the bathroom so that I didn't have to crowd the sink counter top with my makeup and toiletries! My husband and I brought food to cook and we were so pleased that all the appliances are brand new and had nice counter tops and everything was well stocked! All the decor is tasteful and beachy and fun. We loved sitting on the balcony porch listening to the local music from neighboring resteraunts. The CONVENIENCE of this property is the cherry on top. We didn't use our car once the entire weekend. You can walk to coffee, food, drinks, ice cream, fun shops, and even a small local grocery market. And YES, the beach is literally steps away! From the back of the property's parking lot, to the entrance of the beach, my husband and counted only around 200 steps... so gorgeous! We would definitely book again:)

Barb was a good host. The condo was clean, well appointed and in good condition. I liked the location. The condo is in the middle of the village close to the action and there is a market where you can buy your groceries within walking distance.

This rental was even better than advertised. It is central to everything and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. It is right in the town so the bands do play at the bars but they are not allowed to play past 11pm. I really enjoyed the clean and comfortable feeling of this rental. Will definitely stay there again next time I visit wonderful Siesta Key.

This is a great beach house. Fantastic location and very comfortable.

The host was great and helpful. The location was excellent. It was a great price to sleep 7 girls. There is a unit above this one so you may hear the upstairs tenants especially when they flush the toilet it is a little loud in the kids room (room with the bunk beds). All around though it was a great price for the location and space and would recommend to others looking to travel with ~7 people. There were tons of beach toys and rafts to use as well. There was also plenty of towels and plates for the larger group. Thanks for having us!

The house was wonderful! The walk to the water was beautiful! I am local to Sarasota and my youngest son was getting married so I wanted a place for my out of town family to all stay together. They came from Montana, South Carolina and Utah. We enjoyed the beach and the village restaurants. They want to come again for a week at the beach! This is a great place to stay!

The home was listed very accurately. It was in a perfect location-just close enough to Siesta Key Village without being in the center of it all where I could imagine nights would be noisy. The beach was so close and convenient, it was easy for all guests to access it and the house as they pleased. The house was clean and comfortable. We will definitely look this location up again.

Enjoyed location to the beach and it was a short walk to center of town, enjoyed walking up Canal St. Three bedrooms was a big plus and common space was adequate.

The location of the house was perfect. Walking distance to the village, not too close, stayed quiet even during spring break. Having the beach across the street was great. Washer and dryer is nice to have. There are beach towels at the house so need to pack any.

Jim's place is awesome. It is in a beautiful area and so close to everything! It about an 8 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute to the shops. His place has everything for a relaxing getaway, from the pool, to his sweet pup there is no way you can't have a great time here. His hospitality is exceptional! We got the opprotunity to ride bikes, swim at our leasure, take a ride on his boat, and take jeep rides around the island. I would reccommend this place to anyone!! We will definately be back! 11/10!!

What a gem! The Little Sandy is a tastefully decorated space in a prime location. Just minutes walking to the beach as well as to Siesta Village. Hardly used the car in town- so much less of a hassle! Check in was easy. The AC and ceiling fans are in good working order- important in this hot climate! The fridge had a welcome stash of coronas and lime/ a nice touch! We enjoyed the pool and beautiful grounds (we've had it to ourselves this whole trip!) as well as the fantastic beach gear (including a brand new heavy duty wagon to easily haul our gear to the beach and high quality beach umbrella). VK is hands down the nicest and most responsive host I've ever worked with on airbnb. Once he learned I was traveling with a 3 month old, he ordered a brand new bassinet to place in a pack and play he already had in the unit, and rushed a PUR water filter to us. He ensured the beach wagon was ready to go in time for our trip. He even offered us a late check out. VK truly went above and beyond to make our visit such a positive experience. His associate who helps maintain the property (Dwayne) is a very pleasant and hilarious guy to meet! Highly recommend the Little Sandy!

We had a terrific 5 days here at the Little Sandy. The location is TERRIFIC. Super close to the beach & close enough to walk to the village. Once you're on the island, you don't need to drive much which is great. The spot is cozy, our family of 4 slept comfortably, but it was a bit small for eating & wet towels, etc. Overall, a great spot on Siesta.

Great location - super close to beautiful beach and the village... bonus was adorable and very private pool!

Cute place in a perfect location, a few minute walk from village and beach. One problem was that there were only two chairs for our family of five, making it really tough to eat together. Host said chairs are on order but I think there should have been folding chairs or something for us.
