  • Serene location with stunning views. Cosy and comfortable cabin with everything we needed. Close to Kathy and Warwick's home but still felt private. Elderly canine gentleman greeted us in the mornings and occasionally kept us company as we sat on the balcony under a leafy canopy enjoying a glass of wine and soaking in the tranquility as we watched the sun set over the Gold Coast. Just lovely.

It is a lovely country town which features several cafes, an art gallery and book shop and the Canungra Hotel. This is also the closest town for petrol and a supermarket. Springbrook is the next mountain east of Beechmont and has a number of walks to choose from including Purlingbrook Falls and the short walk to Best of All Lookout, which is 1000m above sea level. Dave Groom Studio Gallery. All of the artwork in the Cottage is by your host, local landscape artist, Dave Groom. Adjacent to Ridge Cottage is the Dave Groom Studio Gallery, which is open to the public. The Gallery is generally open between 10am – 4pm. There will be a sign on the wall at the end of the Gallery telling you whether it is open. Please feel free to visit during opening hours, or contact Dave to arrange a time to visit.
The unique feature of the Ridge Cottage is its private location on the edge of Lamington National Park. Back down the road is the rural settlement of Beechmont, once a large dairy farming community, it is now a scenic landscape of varied farmland. While there are no shops on Beechmont there is a cafe at the Old School sight, as well as the Flying Bean Cafe at Rosins Lookout. This is also a popular hangliding launch sight and a spectacular spot for views into Numinbah Valley and over the border into NSW towards the ancient extinct shield volcano, Wollumbin.

  • My partner and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at this magical and enchanting self-built cottage. The privacy of the cottage promotes a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. We enjoyed a massage - recommended by Dave (Bliss Massage Beechmont) - in front of the fire place while the rain teemed down! Pack your slippers and warm clothes because you won’t want to leave The Ridge Cottage!!

  • Barbara and Glynn's cottage is gorgeous. We decided on a last minute mini escape and the cottage's privacy and serenity was perfect for us to unwind. All rooms are beautifully decorated and welcoming. Love the shower gel and hand wash in the ensuite - I still smell devine. We paddled in the pool, and enjoyed a walk through the olive grove. Thanks for a great place to stay.

We enjoyed walking through the olive gardens and through a frisbee in the large areas around the house. It was close to township so we could go out for dinner and was easily big enough for 6 guys. Barbara was an excellent host and very helpful and accomodating.

  • Cosy little hinterland cottage, we loved our stay here! Falling asleep on a very good bed to the sounds of the night, then waking up to the first rays of sunlight and enjoy breakfast with view on the lake and coast. It’s a ‘shame’ it wasn’t colder during our stay, then we would definitely have tried the stove!

The Cabin is a converted shipping container with a double bed, kitchenette, shower and toilet. Heater and Air conditioner TV and DVD Under cover BBQ. Stunning valley views of the border ranges and farmland. Birds abound and wallabies hop by. Please Note: We are not a short distance from Lamington National Park - that is at least a 2 1/2 hour drive away. We are about a 30 minute drive from Mt Warning, Natural Bridge, Mebbin National Parks and 45 minutes from Springbrook National Park.
Limpinwood Valley is a beautiful part of the world, surrounded on 3 sides by the border ranges and Mount Warning (Wollumbin) on the other. We have 2 villages (Chillingham & Tyalgum) about a 10 minute drive away and still only 40 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport and beaches. We do not have easy access to hiking trails but we do have a pleasant pastoral walk. We are a NON smoking environment.
In the village of Tyalgum there are some very interesting shops and a lovely cafe 'Flutterbies'. Well worth checking out. Chillingham, another close village, has Bucks Barn with Australian Bush Tucker. Friday night is pizza and music night at the back of Flutterbies cafe in Tyalgum. There is no late night shopping in our villages so, if you need supplies you will need to be there before 5 p.m. or stop at Nerang or Murwillumbah on your way here.
  • We loved our time here. Noeline and Russell have really thoughtfully created a space for guests to relax and recharge, and are a very lovely couple. The view and environment are stunning, and little wallabies greet you in the morning and afternoon. The space is very clean and cosy.

    Sophia2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • I had great expectations of our short holiday, and Noeline's place more than lived up to them! The location is sublime - it was the perfect environment for two extremely overworked mums to unwind. Days swimming in crystal clear waterholes, visiting Tyalgum and the Hare Krishna farm during rains and rainbows and seeing old friends and lunching at the Margaret Olley Regional Gallery. Nights drinking wine under the stars....and only a couple of hours drive from Brisbane in peak hour traffic! Noeline and her hubbie were lovely; unobtrusive but on hand to assist or provide any extras we needed. The cabin was rustic but that was our preference and the shower pressure was wonderful and included a view of the surrounding mountains. Visitors should be aware that the bins are outside and water should first be boiled for drinking according to sign over sink. We had a magical time. Thank you Noeline

    Peyote2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Had such a great weekend at Noeline's airbnb. A real country escape, can easily forget your conveniniently only 45 minutes from the gold coast. Noeline and her husband were great, very welcoming and friendly hosts. Will definately be back!

    Colm2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Noeline and Russell’s beautiful cabin is located in a breath-taking location with the most amazing mountain views, surrounded by bird life and wallabies. The cabin is super comfy and has everything you need including a bbq to cook outside and a beautiful, private deck. We had the best time in the 10 days we spent here and enjoyed trips in the surrounding area. There’s lots to explore such as cute towns with cafes, beautiful hikes and rivers close by and the beach is not too far either. Noeline & Russell are the most lovely hosts, very thoughtful and helpful. We loved our time here, highly recommend staying to anyone and are sure to be back. Thank you Noeline & Russell!

    Simone2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The place is amazingly beautiful, the facilities perfect, all little details thought of by the lovely hosts, Noeline and Russell. And the wallabies and birds made it even more special.

With stunning views north-east down through the valley towards the ocean, our cabin is nestled in the rainforest on the edge of the east facing escarpment of our property. The private, eco cabin was lovingly constructed from mostly recycled timbers and joinery and expanses of glass to give an immersive rainforest experience. It feels like you are sleeping in the treetops. The recently renovated contemporary bathroom and kitchenette embrace clean lines and are environmentally sensitive.
A list of inclusions; King bed made with the finest Italian linen bedding High quality bath sheets and face towels Small bar fridge stocked with some of our farm fresh organic eggs and a small milk (request milk alternative if required) homemade gluten free muesli kettle portable induction cooktop (single) frying pan/pot toaster two plates, two bowls, cutlery, glasses, tea and coffee cups french coffee press complimentary starter pack of fresh ground coffee, herbal tea, black tea, small milk fresh baked biscuits 2 yoga mats iron and ironing board Our rustic cottage sits nestled amongst the trees looking out across a verdant rainforest valley and towards the sea. It is about 20 metres from our main house so ensures privacy. It has a king bed (sleeps two), a newly renovated ensuite and kitchenette. The kitchenette is for preparing light meals such as breakfast. There is a small fridge, tea/coffee facilities, items listed above and a TV for DVD watching only (no TV reception nor internet). Our property sits on an old avocado farm with our chickens called "the girls", Dan, the old farm dog (he sleeps all day as he's too old to get around much) , Gilly, the cat, a horse, fish tanks, vegetable gardens, orchards and manicured ornamental gardens. The cabin is small and cosy (approx 6 x 5 metres with an additional 1.3 m x 4-metre bathroom and 1.2 x 2.5 -metre kitchenette alcove with fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and table and chairs. There is a partially covered verandah with a table and two chairs. The cabin was originally a hardwood timber cow milking shed built in 1932. We repurposed it using 80% recycled, up-cycled, found or given materials. The ethos being not to buy anything new but recently, we had to upgrade the bathroom and for hygiene reasons everything is new but environmentally sensitive. The bed base is made from leftover timber sandwiched together in the style of Dutch furniture designer, Piet Hein Eek. The styling is an homage to my husband's Fijian ancestry with 100 year old tapa cloth hanging and some retro souvenir items. It is important to note that there are no curtains and the cabin has a lot of glass and windows to provide an immersive rainforest experience. It suits those who love waking up to natural light. The kitchenette is suitable for basic food preparation such as breakfast but light, simple meals can be prepared. Tea, fresh ground coffee are provided as are some delicious homemade cookies from my mother's kitchen, some organic eggs from our chickens and my home made gluten free muesli. We recommend you bring anything you may wish to add to these breakfast offerings. As the cabin is in the bush, we recommend you keep the screen doors closed at all times to avoid unwanted visitors such as snakes. We do not like using poisons so you may encounter a spider but rest assured they are more scared of you. In the cupboard, is a plastic container if you would like to catch and humanely relocate an eight legged creature or insect spray for more permanent removal. The cabin is not suitable for children or people with mobility issues due to the stairs down to the cabin and verandahs.
Tamborine Mountain or as we locals like to call it "THE mountain", is a haven for easy to moderate bush and rainforest walks and breathtaking vistas to the east and west. It is a popular destination for day trippers from the Gold Coast and/or Brisbane areas and is an ideal weekend getaway. The climate is milder than on the low lands sometimes up to five degrees cooler. It is referred to as the green behind the gold (Gold Coast) due to it's higher than average rainfall (which is not so high in recent times) and the vibrant green landscapes. This verdant, lush flora is aided also by the rich red volcanic soil. There is a strip of shops and cafes called Gallery Walk catering to tourists which are open all year round. It is not a foodie haven but we have a few little gems that will keep you satiated. There is so much to keep you entertained from rainforest skywalks, wineries, cheese tastings and day spas. There are two monthly markets - the show ground (craft, food, plants and produce) on the 2nd Sunday of the month and the school markets (secondhand and craft) on the last/4th Sunday of the month. Every Sunday between 7 - midday next door to the Showground is the Green Shed where you can purchase locally grown produce, flowers and plants.

  • Meg was a wonderfully accomodating and informative host. This secluded little spot tucked into the side of the mountain is a true escape from the hustle and bustle. Meg provided all the necessities, including beautiful local coffee, and everything one could want for a weekend away. The advice provided around different eating spots was much appreciated. The feeling of waking to the rising sun and the sound of the rainforest waking up would have to be up there on the amazing scales. The beautiful linen and towels was a delightful touch of luxury in this home away from home, with is personal touches from around the world. Friends wo had booked into local motels were very much jealous of my little spot on Tamborine! Would return in an instant given the opportunity!

  • Running creek farm is a beautiful property! We had four toddlers with us and they had the time of their lives! The house is a lovely farm house and we felt instantly at home, the owners went above and beyond.. even bringing the tractor over for our children. We will definatley be returning next year 😁

    Kylie2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • If you don't like a peaceful, secluded holiday in a perfect corner of Australia then this spot is unfortunately not for you. Our family immensely enjoyed a seven night stay over Christmas and absolutely loved the peaceful country surroundings. Running Creek, is surprisingly a very literal name as the creek was still flowing when most creeks in Australia were dry. The creek produced the one Bass (we released it back to the wild) and a platypus sighting for the family. The amenities were spot on and the house has been tastefully renovated on the inside. The train line through the property had our excited family running to the backdoor each time an occasional loco eased past for a wave. Down to earth owners Debbie and Rod went to great lengths to make our stay special and the Christmas decorations were above and beyond expectations. Tops stay.

    Scott2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great little getaway, kids were occupied the whole time. We went on walks around the property to explore and found a tunnel under the train tracks, found the horses and fed them the carrots provided. The fire pit kept us warm under the stars. To top it off we got to feed some of the calves then saw the swimming spot and got to have turns on the kayak. 10/10 recommended from the whole family.

    Joalla2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at your place. It was a lovely holiday for us, kids enjoyed their freedom to run around the field and kayaking in the creek, feeding the horses and creeping around the cows. The cottage was great size, clean and very homey. Host were super friendly & welcoming and very thoughtful for providing all amenities. Thank you again for everything. Hope to visit you again.

    Susama2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage sits between two spectacular mountain ranges. I never tired of gazing at them. With no neighbours in sight or earshot you can truly unwind in Debbie’s comfortable and well appointed cabin. I will be back for sure.

    Duncan2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful experience! Each and every minute requirement for stay was taken care of. The cottage is at perfect location for people who want to enjoy their time in nature away from city life. The house is super clean and spacious.

  • We had the most beautiful weekend away at Kyms. The place is just stunning, and the extra touches Kym puts in made our stay even more special. The place itself is immaculate, and a lot bigger then it looks in the photos. We had many beautiful areas to sit in and enjoy the rain, and a huge garden to explore when it wasn’t raining. Alfie was also an added bonus. Thank you so much Kym, we will be back.

    Maddison2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place, sparkling clean and well located to explore the surroundings. Kym and her husband are fantastic hosts, they were extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for your support on our late arrival and give a big hug to Alfie for us😁

  • We had an amazing stay with my partner in the cottage, it absolutely exceeded our expectations. It’s in an amazing location just a short drive from some beautiful waterfalls and national park walks. We were greeted by the friendliest and amazingly trained border collie dog on arrival who was always up to hang around if you wanted some extra company! The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and very worth the price in amazing condition with lots of gorgeous big plants and beautiful decorations. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you’d need for a feast and greeted with some beautiful treats upon arrival. Kym and her partner were very friendly and helpful but we had privacy the whole time. There was also a jacuzzi beside the side which was a great surprise. Beautiful scenery all around the cottage and very private. Took lots of photos around the property it was all picturesque. Had an amazing time and would highly recommend!

  • Brilliant relaxing stay as always. This is one of our favourite airbnb places to go. Thoroughly recommend!

    Anne2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Kym's property is beautiful and an amazing place for a weekend getaway. Everything was so well thought of, the little bag of toiletries, a well stocked kitchen, first aid kit, the extra towels, the books and games and the welcome treats were super yummy! We did have a bit of a fire scare but that was only down at lower Beechmont and Kym assured us we had nothing to worry about. The weather was very pleasant during our stay as well. Overall it's a great place to chill out at and reset before you get back to your hectic life. Thanks Kym!

  • Wow! It was so nice to get out of the City for a couple of days and I chose this place due to the character which truely lived up to expectations. There were so many thoughtful touches such as homemade goods, books and magazines to read, tea, coffee, milk, shower gel etc. I particularly loved waking up to hearing all the birds outside and the fresh country air. The bed was super comfy which was a big plus. Highly reccomended to everyone looking for a quick get away from the city!

  • The view was amazing, so close to cafes/restaurants/shops and yet tucked away in a quiet and peaceful little pocket. The bed was so comfortable, the pillows divine and the linen fresh and clean. The hosts, Peter and Karen, were very friendly and helpful.

  • I booked this holiday for my in-laws but they informed me that they had an amazing time- beautiful place to say, close to some nice walks and cafes etc. !

    Jelena2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a magical little paradise. The space is so pretty and restful, and the view is amazing. I loved the bird life, the rain on the roof, and the thoughtful little supplies that were provided to see us through the first morning after our flight was delayed. If you’re looking for a romantic little space, beautifully designed and appointed and surrounded by nature, this place is pretty magical! It’s also so close to a couple of little townships. The perfect weekend getaway.

    Louise2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Karen and Peter's accommodation is a home away from home. It is spotlessly clean, cosy and they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It is very close to places of interest on the mountain and a short walk to cafes and shops. The environment is very peaceful and there is a lovely view from the house. Peter and Karen are close by in case you need anything and nothing seems too much trouble for them, very welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at Noonameena and would come back again if we ever come this way in the future.

    Sarah2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we arrived Laurie was cheerful, obliging and made us feel at home with his thoughtfulness and sense of humour. The entire property is immaculate and the gardens were looking particularly magical and inviting when we stayed overnight for the Tamborine Mountain Marathon Relay. Our room was full of thoughtfully placed trinkets and artwork, inviting textures and features like the gorgeous four-post bed and modern bathroom. I could not fault the accommodation or hosts, who made us feel so welcome and at home, almost like a member of the family stopping by for a brief stay. We would definitely stay with Laurie and Chris on our next adventure to Tamborine Mountain.

    Chantel2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie’s place was perfect - it was comfortable, stylish, spotless and had a lot of very thoughtful touches. What a beautifully designed & thoughtfully decorated living space, bedroom & ensuite , complimented by an outside covered deck overlooking the peaceful gardens. Every detail was thought of, from the breakfast goodies, comfy couch, fridge, crockery / cutlery, microwave / toaster / jug, large TV, etc. Laurie & Christine were extremely informative and helpful on all aspects regarding this wonderful part of the Scenic Rim. This would rate as our number 1 Airbnb to date & would be well worth revisiting in the future.

  • Absolutely amazing space! We stayed two nights for a wedding over the weekend. My only regret was not having more time. Such a beautiful area and the host provides so many wonderful tips about things to do and where to eat! The space is incredibly clean, the complimentary breakfast is so fresh and there are so many thoughtful little touches: like the bath robes and bath salts. Perfect for a romantic weekend. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay. Will hopefully be back soon!

    Beth2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing little sanctuary Tanya has created, the decor was super cute and the plants were thriving! We really appreciated the little extras such as the homegrown eggs and the fresh sourdough. The place had everything we needed, we wish we had made use of the bikes, it’s such a great idea. Also, we were lucky enough to be given a late check out, it’s always so nice not to rush to finish a holiday. We will most definitely be recommending it to friends and coming back ourselves.

    Sian2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • The photos of Taryn's space do not do it justice - it is so much more beautiful in person. So many thoughtful touches and the amenities are superb. The breakfast provided was such a lovely and personal touch, and the hosts are super quick to reply and gave us so many suggestions for food and local activities. I can't recommend this AirBNB enough - it is amazing.

  • My partner and I had a sweet escape at the Red Shed. Can’t think of a better place to kick off our holiday. Incredibly stunning views with lovely cows as our neighbours. Fresh breeze through out the day to keep us cool. Words are not enough to describe how wonderful this place is. We spent hours inside the barn just relaxing, chatting and playing games, and also wandering around to explore the valley. The village nearby, Tyalgum, has a great Gelato shop that opens during weekends. Two minutes drive away there is a lookout with spectacular scenery. Too many good memories there. We took lots of photos with great smiles in them. Jen and Darren are caring, thoughtful and simply awesome. We definitely wanna come back in the future.

My place is around the corner from Botanical gardens ,and close by there are plenty of bush walks ,remember proper shoes , gallery walk is a 2min drive with restaurants, Caffès and tourist shops.
My space is totaly private from main house, it is a one room cabin with private bathroom and a small but functional kitchenette ,there are provisions for a third person to stay on a single trundle bed, you also have your own driveway . We have rain forest around us and lots of different colored parrots . We like to give our guests as much privacy as possible but if you feel like a chat we are always around .
We have lived here for 16yrs and we love the peace and quiet
  • Host was very thoughtful with extra touches to make our stay special. Checked to make sure we were comfortable with everything. Greeted us. Treats in the fridge.

  • Gale's place is one of a kind. Located up in the mountains, it's hard to believe the beautiful surroundings. Gale was quick to communicate, flexible when our timings didn't link up, and very welcoming. The place is cozy, welcoming, and nestled in privacy. It's obvious that a lot of love goes into this small room and it's tangible when you enter. The little touches make you feel at home - everything from the little eggs in the fridge to the tv set up with Netflix. I loved staying at Gale's and would love to stay there again.

Beautiful Whole Farmhouse in the Condamine Gorge near Killarney and Queen Mary Falls. Great place for families to be families without TV and WIFI. Lots of swings in trees, creeks, gentle cows in paddocks, outdoor and indoor fireplaces with spectacular views up and down the gorge. Located in the beautiful Scenic Rim under two hours drive from Brisbane. There is also currently no mobile reception (plus for some, negative for others!), but there is a free landline phone.
The house has four bedrooms with enough beds to sleep 10 people. There is also a large central space with two couches that can sleep another 2 people, and heaps of space for more camping beds etc if you have them. It is a fantastic place for large family get togethers. The linen and towels are all up there with the beds all made up. There is also an outside undercover firepit with cooking plates and camp ovens, a modern BBQ with wokburner and indoor fires. Firewood is included and stacked on the verandah ready to go. Outside is the magnificent Condamine Gorge, and large flat lawn areas for kids to play soccer and cricket. Pets and horses are welcome. The drive from Brisbane is via Boonah and is simply beautiful the whole way, it sets the tone for a wonderfully scenic getaway.
  • This was my crew's second visit to Ant's place. We came back for a reason, and plan to return every year. Top spot, great host.

  • My friends and I came here for my 21st. We had such an awesome time! We loved going on little walks on the property and looking at the amazing scenery. The animals came straight up to us when we arrived and we loved having them around. The beds were so comfortable and the house was stylish! Thank you for the visit! We definitely want to come back.

  • Anthony's farmhouse was excellent! The surroundings are stunning, the animals friendly, and the house well equipped.

    Chris2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • All the positive comments from previous reviews tell the story. Friendly animals, good comms with host, lots of thoughtful touches such as flowers, wine, chocolates, etc. It was very hot outside when we arrived but house was quite cool. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms very helpful. I’d suggest that if you go in summer, use the BBQ for meals and plan accordingly. There was a total fire ban this weekend, so no campfire, and the wood stove in kitchen would make the house too hot. (No other oven or hotplates in kitchen). We had delicious meals on the BBQ- roast lamb leg, rosemary potatoes (using rosemary from the garden) and salad. Kitchen is well equipped. Lovely location, perfect for a relaxing weekend.

The place is so clean and this includes the linen and you have everything you need. It so nice to have your dog there, this time even the budgie and both of them looked relaxed. Thankyou Sue

If you are looking for a tranquil place to do some reading etc. and enjoy the nature Kirro is the right place for you.

    Juhana2020-01-19T00:00:00Z

Sue is truly the super host. We really enjoyed our farm visit led by Sue. It was a wonderful experience. Given opportunity, we would love to stay at Kirro again.

  • What an experience. This was better than I could have imagined. This country getaway is perfect for that romantic get away, family holiday or that real Aussie experience for any international guest. Sue made the entire process flawless and I thank her for that as we were staying for work near by. The house is immaculate with so many little personal touches. The opportunity to do a farm tour is a once in a life time experience for so many, so make that part of your list of to dos.

Would have loved to have spent more time exploring and relaxing at the beautiful property. Will be back for sure! The place was super clean and organised with everything that you would need to stay and have all the homey comforts. Communication was quick and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    Lisa2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a relaxing stay at Krysia and Kristy's place with our two-year-old boy. The house was perfect and didn't have too much stuff that he could get his hands on. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. We switched our phones to flight mode when we arrived and didn't turn them back on until the end of our trip. Not an email or message in sight! We went down to the creek each day for a play, and we saw wallabies, cockies, parrots, brush turkeys and butterflies right outside our doors. We all came home feeling like we had had a proper break. Thanks so much, Krysia and Kristy!

    Chad2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I loved Krysia and Krista’s place. The property was lush and teeming with life. We swam in the creek and the pool. It was the perfect weekend getaway. I felt a million miles away. Can’t wait to return and unplug again.

    Belinda2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Such a special place, we feel very lucky that we came to stay. Perfect place to get away from it all. The noises of frogs and birds made it especially special! Love the creek and green space to explore. House was clean and spacious, perfect for a family with young kids as not too much ‘stuff’ for them to destroy and no stairs to worry about. Could spend days just on the property. The TV and play station was a luxury too. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll definitely be back!

  • We loved our stay at Jan’s place - the surrounding area is beautiful and we managed to visit O’Reilly’s and Natural Bridge as recommended by Jan - despite the fact that we experienced torrential downpours much of the time there. We loved seeing the kangaroos in the garden and the covered outdoor space to eat in and relax. Everything you need, and more, is provided. There was plenty of hot water and it felt very private. A great base for touring the scenic rim!

The School Master's Cafe in the old school was fantastic and was located about 5-10mins away from the house. Travelling up/down the mountain also offered up some pretty amazing views! Excited already to come back sometime soon :)

  • John's house is a beautiful get away from nowadays turbulent life. You'll find yourself surrounded by a beautiful garden and in a house that offers you most of what you might ever need. And John is a really wonderful host!

  • John's place is cosy and private. The place is well appointed and a very pleasant escape. My recent visit is about my 4th so that in itself is a good recommendation.

  • John has a wonderful place and Mt Tamborine is one of Australia's gems. More moderate temps than down at sea level and just one of the most beautiful locations you can visit. An incredible place to recharge the batteries.
