Primeiro que tudo o Luís é uma pessoa de super fácil trato, muito simpático e sempre pronto a ouvir opiniões de coisas que estavam menos bem. O chalé é amoroso, com vista desafugada e acolhedor. O padeiro passa todos os dias (pelo menos agora na época do verão) pelas 9h30, trás bolos e pão fresco e dá para encomendar mais coisas ligando para a "Padaria Dias" em tortozendo. O chalé não têm Internet próprio mas apanha ainda a net dos Hotel, o que também é muito bom. Sem dúvida ira ser uma experiência a repetir, tanto no verão como no inverno. Foram 6 dias espetaculares!!!!

Het is een fantastisch huis met een geweldig uitzicht. Het huisje is erg leuk sfeervol ingericht en netjes en schoon. Tijdens het ontbijt op de veranda kan je genieten van de geitjes die samen met hun schaapherder naar de groene heuvels trekken. Het is echt genieten. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en zorgt dat alles goed geregeld is. Hij spreekt niet erg goed Engels, maar als je hem belt of persoonlijk spreekt is er prima communicatie. Kortom een super huis! It's a wondelfull house with a great view. The house is nicely decorated, neat and clean. With the breakfast at the veranda you can enjoy the goats on their way to the green hills.

Chalet Fantastic !! great location, very well decorated, cozy, with everything you need for a perfect stay! Just minutes from the Ski Station, and the way there worth chart for film photos! We will definitely come !! 3 days were little! We love it! Rodrigo & Family.

Jorge's place was great! It was cozy, modern, and had a beautiful view of the mountains nearby, where we enjoyed our morning walks. It was also very close to local restaurants and the city, which was quite convenient. Overall, we had a great stay and would go back in a heartbeat!

Chalet too expensive for the poor quality and size of rooms. Only 1 bathroom with shower for 6 people, in addition to hot water pressure is non-existent and the toilet is very old and cold. Very small rooms (in two of them barely can keep the bags inside), with beds only single and poor quality, as well as bed linen and bath. Only 1 towel per person. Dishes and utensils not sufficient and weak (dishcloths nonexistent). Positives: location and salamander that room and bedrooms.

Nice Chalet six of us stayed here comfortably. Beautiful setting right at the top of the mountain. We really struggled to find the place the location in the booking is incorrect and sent us to a small village at the bottom of the mountain.

The bungalow is great, spacious and welcoming. It has a suite and two bedrooms upstairs with twin beds with excellent thermal insulation. Everything worked perfectly. recommend

We had three nice days in Patricia's apartment. The rooms are clean, and it's no problem to stay there with three people. There are a few cafes and a supermarket in the neighborhood, and also a bar where you can have a drink in the evening. The village is very picturesque, and you can start hiking from there. The communication with Patricia was no problem, she was always very kind and helpful.

Thanks Rosa-Maria for receiving us in your house. You were very hepful and you were so nice that we will not forget you. Very probably, we will return in you house. Loriga is very well situated for those who want to live in mountains. There are all you want near the moenda house for buying food, to have a coffee, there is also a bank, a place where the kids can play... And if you want, Rosa-Maria can take care of your hair as she is hairdresser ! I advise also the travellers to go to Seia, which is a closed town (12km) where, beginning of july, you can see the "Marcha" (Marcha de Loriga, Marcha de Seia, Marcha São Romão, etc...) You can also visit the "MUSEU DO PÃO"... And if the weather is hot, you can go to the "pria fuvial", a few minute by foot from Loriga village.

The town/location is super charming and it is quite central to the Serra da Estrela area. Very limited in terms of restaurants so either prepare or adjust to the only 2 or 3 options (which were still great by the way!), but we only stayed 1 night. If you are staying longer, you might want to plan accordingly. The house was clean and comfortable, and the decor is traditional to the area which was lovely. Prepare your check in prior since unless you set a time, you might need to call them for the door to be opened. No big deal since there is a pay phone right across the street (should you not have access to international calls). Overall we loved it and would stay again! Both Sara and Mom were very hospitable, friendly and helpful :-)

We truly enjoyed our long stay at Casa Moenda. The home it's located in the centre of Loriga; a charming and welcoming town in the Serra da Estrela. The house was beautiful, large and comfortable. It's equipped with a functional kitchen if you wish to bring food. Our host we're very friendly and keep the home running smoothly. We had wifi access and cable tv with many channels to choose from. The house is in the main square so you can't miss the towns events and festivals. Walking distance to restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy, meat shops, grocery stores and bank. You can also go to the farm market on weekends if you want fresh fruit and vegetables. Loriga has lovely Praia Fluvial (mountain spring) to go swimming in the summer. If you have kids there is a playground next to the home. Amazing views, rural life and tranquility. The people are friendly and warm. Very accesible by car and bus. We also enjoyed going for a hike around town. Will definitely come back for another visit.

The house is well located Milling. Very comfortable. Next to the main tourist sites (Serra da Estrela and river beach). For whoever is always connected to cell phones and the Internet, will be a problem the city has a lot of network coverage.

The house is great, complies with photos and location in Loriga. However, it is better to book a room on the first floor or ground floor (not the last) because hot water hardly makes is the top floor. We were there and we were alone, and hot water is fesait rare in our bathroom ... We have not met Luís, but a friend of his who speaks French welcomed us, it was good.

The accommodation was clean and it was quite cozy. The fact that wood and we can light the fire is added value, made the experience even better. The house is well situated and allows us to good hiking and get to know the neighborhood. People are also simpaticas and welcoming. The restaurant right at the village entrance is quite good, very good food at low prices. A few kilometers there is a river beach of Loriga, very nice and worthy of a visit.
