This is a 3 bedroom apartment in what feels like a government housing complex of an 8 (?) story walkup. This apartment is on the 6th floor. The owner was not staying there when I rented the room. The other two rooms had tenants; one was friendly and spoke some english and the other kept to herself and did not speak english. At night, two of the floor landing areas did not have lighting thus the staircase was dark. It felt safe. If you are coming by bus from Hong Kong into Futian, get a cab despite this listing being in 'Fumin New Village' which is literally 300 meters away from the border. GMaps was 50-100 meters off so that will add to your confusion. Once you figure out your location, getting across the highway by foot was another challenge and chanced upon quite a lot of discarded rental bikes from those bike sharing companies. I winded up playing 'frogger' with the cars and hopping the tall fence/lane divider. The Fumin New Village was literally across the highway and another block in. Otherwise, one would have to make a giant U-Turn; down or up the highway and back on the other side. The host was amazingly fast with responses and thank goodness cuz I got locked out. I could not get the metal security door to open with my key and one of the guests heard me and awakened to open the door for me. She or the other guest may had accidentally locked it. We're not sure. I tried every variation of key jiggling to the point where my fingers were red and sore. It worked the first time I arrived so I am not sure what happened. I suggest the owner to change the locks to something simple and not-lockable from the inside. The trees in Fumin village covered up the building number so if you can see building 22, it's next to it. Building 21 has 3 entrances; entrance 2 is what you are looking for however the numbers are written in Chinese. Not a big deal, since I can tell but if you can't, it's the one in the middle. Mailbox for lockbox was easy to find though you have to align the numbers just right to get the lockbox to reveal the keys. The right side door latch/lock is broken so there's no security; you open this and reach over to the left side door from the inside to unlatch the lock to get in. Walk up to the 6th floor. This was not made aware to me until I had to use it. Someone came out of the building when I first arrived. The living room and furnishing for my room was like the photos. The bathroom, not as nice and not so white. It could use a deep cleaning and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how the hot water heater unit works. As far as I am concerned, every...

This apartment is amazing to stay, 248 meter square is real!!!we rent it for 5 days for 3 customers from Europe,they spent very nice time during those days. This house have big kitchen,this could be favorite part also, so we made some Chinese traditional home food for them. 3 bedrooms have king size bed. Bathroom is very clean. Shampoo and Shower gel All provided by owner.They stay here as home. If they come to next time, I will book again!! Thanks for everything

This apartment is in an excellent location, within 3 minutes walking distance of the metro station. Roommate was super friendly, and the apartment was clean and easy to find. Once you access the metro, getting around Shenzhen is rather easy. Nearby the apartment are little restaurants and cafés that you can hang around if you don't feel like leaving the area. No complaints, was a wonderful experience!

Lovely room, plenty of light, really tidy. Adore this neighbourhood, close to Fumin station there are lots of cool cafes/restaturants in Shuiwei Village. My favourite is Email Coffee on Shuiwei 7th St, would recommend to visit. Not too far to access either Futian or Luohu Checkpoints by subway (if you are a foreigner you may find Luohu a better option given they have foreign passport lines so it's usually faster to get to Hong Kong). There is a lovely park close by the apartment building, fruit/vege stores and supermarkets. Edison is very organised with his apartments, would recommend.
