Calvin is a really nice young guy. He welcomed me into his spacious, comfortable and clean home. I would recommend staying to anyone. I will be staying again if ever in the area.

This is a lovely clean and comfortable cottage which offered plenty of space for a couple. It sits in its own plot and the area to the front of the cottage is a lovely sun trap.

A home away from home. Jackie's place had a really holey feel and had everything we needed and more. Thank you for making the stay so enjoable.

What a lovely lady Karen is. She makes you feel very welcome and if you get there at the right time you might be lucky enough to get freshly baked cake !!! The accommodation is perfect, value for money and with very comfy beds for a great nights sleep. Everything you need including towels and even a towel for the dog if it gets wet ! We couldn't of asked for anything better and we will definately be back xx

Karen and Ian were the perfect hosts. The rooms were clean and tidy with everything one would require for a getaway. The surrounding areas were beautiful and I was offered full use of the facilities. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a lovely place to stay. Everything has been newly decorated and a lot of thought put in to make it a nice place to stay. The location is quite and close to the woods, nice escape with limited phone signal :) I would recommend easily!

Karen's place was absolutely lovely. The pictures don't do the place justice. In a nice quiet place with everything you could possibly need. We had a fab night's sleep and were already planning our return stay on our drive back home! Plenty of things to do in the area and we ran out of time to do them all! Karen and her husband were both very friendly and welcoming and on hand if we needed them. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This really is a delightful place. It could not have been better and Gail really goes the extra mile with a warm welcome and little extras which make for a very pleasant stay.

This was my first ever Airbnb and I was so pleased I may never book a hotel again! The accommodation was even prettier and more serene than the photos represent, and with a beautiful and quiet garden to enjoy and quiet set back location. A++

Great place and host!

Paul went above and beyond for me during my stay, going so far as picking me up from the station, even when my train through was delayed by over an hour. Paul is an excellent host, definitely recommend his place for all interested.

Paul's place is lovely and recently decorated. Paul is a very thoughtful host who provided all necessary comforts. The place is a house with two rooms and shared areas, so you may have the entire place to yourself, or may not, unless you book both rooms! The bathroom is new and very well fitted. The room was excellent value for money. I would recommend.

Phillip was very helpful and accommodating in terms of what time we arrived in the evening. He got us settled in quickly and made us feel at home. You essentially have a whole floor of the house to yourself- with the bedroom, bathroom, and living room, which was amazing, especially for such a low price. We felt very at home and it was clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe, but only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Mansfield. The only thing we'd note is that if you are allergic/sensitive to scents, be aware that the house has quite a few of those scented fragrance sticks/ reed diffusers.

Good communication leading up to my scheduled stay but unfortunately I had to cancel my stay due to family reasons. But still I would rate it highly as the host was very welcoming and professional in his chats, even he didn't know me at all due to me being new to Airbnb.

Room as described. I arrived late at night and Phillip was very friendly and accommodating. Ideally situated to access Mansfield town centre 10 mins away.

Philip was a good and thoughtful host - I had a cup of tea in my hand within five minutes of arriving! Excellent value for money, very handy for the railway station, warm, cosy, clean and quiet. Enjoyed a convivial, chatty evening with Philip and would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone else - and may well be returning myself.

Philip's house was easy to find and Philip was a super host. We had plenty of space as we had use of his spare lounge and a bathroom to ourselves. We will definitely stay there again when next in the Nottingham area.

Beautiful, new restored cottage attached to an old pub. The place has everything required for an extremely comfortable holiday. It is cosy and attractive. Well located for the myriad of things to do in Derbyshire. I would highly recommend it.

Immaculate cottage which has been done out really nice, a pleasure to stay there for the weekend, very clean throughout. Lovely friendly host Jennie who met us to check in. We probably didn't do our research enough on things to do in the area before staying but that's our own fault, can't fault the house itself though, hot tub was great, everything brand new which was a real luxury, we would definitely stay again! :)

A really great cottage in Tibshelf. The cottage is super well equipped with everything that you need. The hot - tub was excellent and we used it far more than we expected. There was 4 of us in total, our 2 boys ( 5 and 8) enjoyed the garden and also the walks that are on the doorstep from the cottage. A great Easter break for all of us.

This is a lovely cottage - spotless and Heidi made sure it was warm and toasty when we arrived - comfortable beds, constant hot water and Netflix onTV made it very hard to leave. The surrounding woodlands are lovely and a tour of the hall is a must!

This place ticked every box I had. I wanted somewhere peaceful -ticked, private - tucked, cosy - ticked, historic - ticked, spacious- ticked, characteristic - ticked!! I loved the bath, the wet room, the tudor bed. Every detail was catered for including toys for my 4 yr old which actually came in handy to give me a small lay in. The estate was fantastic, with our own private tour! My little boy loved driving the fire engine (and nearly made us crash!), the animals are fantastic, they even had netflix which was great once the little man was in bed with a glass of wine (me not my little boy!). It was clean and spacious I could have spent a lot longer there and will definitely be going back in summer 2017... xx

Lovely weekend away to catch up with friends. Heidi was very welcoming and accomodating from booking and throughout our stay. Spacious, clean and comfortable accomodation - benefit of enclosed garden for the dogs and wonderful walks on your doorstep. Close enough to Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton for day trips if you want to explore more. Would definitely recommend!

We were a party of 6, plus an 18 month old and 2 dogs and Carnfield was perfect, a hidden gem. Heidi and Graham were wonderful hosts, inviting us to join their Easter egg hunt, followed by a grand tour of the house and grounds. We really felt welcomed into the fold. Thanks to all the Carnfield clan for making our trip so memorable!

This house is in a scenic setting whilst easy to get to via motorway links and train. The house is a lovely mix of old and modern and I had a very comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable, the house is warm and the kitchen is well stocked. Heidi and Graham are lovely hosts. A great place to stay for business or for holiday.

Ian and Modupe is a lovely easy-going couple, they keep the place very clean yet homely. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the bed is comfy, so I always get a very good sleep. (I keep coming back).

To begin with, I would first like to thank Morgan for making our stay as convenient & delightful as possible.He is one of the perfect hosts one could meet. The house is very clean & definitely much beautiful than it looks in the pictures. Best part is the location of the house. Easy access to the major stores and restaurants. The garden exit leads in to the forest & one could enjoy those enchanting routes. Morgan is very humble,polite & a stupendous pianist. He couldn't be more helpful.His parents are very friendly & pleasant.Cheers to Morgan. Good luck, we had a great time & we will be back there soon. I definitely recommend Morgan's place if one wants to feel a serene and peaceful environment.

Morgán's home was perfect for a weekend exploring Derbyshire. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with nice linen and bottles of water on the bedside table. The whole house was lovely and we got to use the garden and could put things in the fridge. It was a lovely weekend using Morgán's house as a base but driving around seeing the sights of Derbshire. We would recommend anyone to stay here!

Morgan was very hospitable and welcoming and we highly recommend a stay here. Our bedroom was spotless, with bottles of water and glasses available, and the bathroom, again spotless, had towels available, and small sachets of soap etc if required. A nice size bath and overhead shower. We had access to a beautiful kitchen and were able to sit outside in the gorgeous secluded garden. Morgan could not have been more helpful. Leaflets for takeaways, or restaurants near by, details on where the nearest supermarket was and, although we didn't have time, as we were working at Hardwick Hall Food Festival, there was a OS map in the bedroom with details of things to do around the area. This was our first experience of staying and booking through Airbnb and Morgan has set the standard very high.
