A great place to stay! and great tips from Louise for walks (saw some great wildlife). The location was perfect with beautiful walks basically starting from the front door. Clean, tidy, quiet - exactly what I wanted!

Louise is a very warm person and very helpful with lots of nice touches in decor and provision of the little things that make you feel at home. There are loads of books and maps related to walking in the Purbecks, which we enjoyed doing. However, if the weather is very bad it might prove difficult to dry your wet things as bathroom is enclosed. Again, if we had to spend a lot of time indoors the lack of space might prove annoying but we thoroughly enjoyed our five days of unseasonably mild weather in and around Swanage. Would thoroughly recommend this.

Small but spotless little place. Perfect if you just need somewhere asa base while exploring the Dorset countryside as we did. Louise's communication was excellent, and she seemed to go out of her way to make herself available to us.

Lived up to the expectations. Lovely clean room with separate small kitchenette and bathroom. Quiet area so my daughter and I slept like logs...sea air probably contributed too. Ideal for two people as a base to explore the local area. Not far to walk into town down the hill. Very pleasant and we would certainly stay again. The owner Louise was fab and nice little touches made us feel most welcome. We visited just after Easter and there happened to be some mini eggs in a bowl in the room, much to the delight of my 5 year old. The fresh bread and jam delighted me! Great communication from the owner throughout. Have a happy visit.

This accommodation was good value, cosy and comfortable. It is in a quiet area with good access to the town and lovely coastal walks. Louise is a friendly, helpful and pleasant host.

Angie and Nick were wonderful hosts. Very accommodating and warm. Thanks guys. Everything in the guest wing was as seen in the pictures. The bedroom is specious and well decorated. The beds were amazingly comfortable!! In the guest kitchen we had a fridge with yogurt and fresh fruit salad and plenty of jams and fresh bread. Yummy. The garden is great to have a morning coffee in especially when it's sunny. Overall we had a great time and would love to come back! Keep up the wonderful work.

My wife, Sally, and I thoroughly enjoyed the three days we stayed at the Guest Wing, and Angela and Nick were the perfect hosts. Their home is nicely appointed for any stay from an overnighter through to an extended stay of a week or more. Angela is especially gracious and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It is very obvious that she truly cares about her guests, and she was extremely valuable in helping us explore the area surrounding Swanage...she even led us on great walks along the coastline and nearby farming (URL HIDDEN) was great! The bottom line for us is that we will definitely return to the Guest Wing whenever we're back in Dorset...and, we sincerely hope that will be sooner than later!

We were welcomed with a hug and felt at home right away. Enjoyed visiting with Angela and Nick who could not have been more helpful in getting us oriented to the area. The breakfast room is a wonderful convenience as we could eat whenever we were ready in the morning. The guest wing is very private and complete. Loved it!

We were greeted like old friends. The bedroom was great. The whole place was spotless and Angie went out of her way to recommend restaurants beforehand as it was my husbands birthday. Nick and Angie's place in Swanage is the ultimate long weekender, mid-weeker or week-longer, and quick frankly, the more time you spend here the longer you will be in paradise. First, the hosts are WONDERFUL people and we felt like long friends within minutes of arriving. The room is wonderful with a great bed, sheets, pillows....like sleeping in a hotel, which is what the brand new bathroom reminded me of too. Every night we would come home to a warm welcome and genuine interest in our holiday. By morning, a wonderful breakfast was waiting for us which we looked forward to every day. Swanage itself is a wonderful place, with a great deal to do in terms of walks. We spent three days walking the coast and inland trails that have fantastic scenery. Their loop nature never meant we had to default to public transport which made us even more satisfied of our walks. Beyond Swanage is a place called Worth, with a wonderful pub and this is a favourite of the area next to "The Fish Plaice" opposite New Look which does AAA-grade fish and chips which we admit to eating more often than anywhere else. Angie and Nick were so kind to lend us flasks and other items for our walks, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Their local advice was excellent and very helpful.We will be back to see them and their lovely dog. Thanks so much for a wonderful time!

Had a great stay, Swanage is lovely and Angela and Nick's place is very spacious and comfortable. We were there in the winter, but I can imagine it would be pretty spectacular in the summer. Recommend The Corner Restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay at Angie & Nick's. Clean, attractive and comfortable private accommodation with a beautiful sunny outlook from breakfast room into garden. Angie on hand to give advice about walks, pubs, etc, and Swanage centre just 5 minutes walk away. Great situation! We hope to return soon, 2 nights wasn't long enough!

We stayed with Angela whilst participating in Swanage folk festival. The house was great, comfy beds, plentiful breakfast and easy access to all the festivities. Angela and family couldn't have been more welcoming. Will definitely book again next year

Great flat in convenient location near to sea front, and handy for restaurants and shops in town. Not for you if you want super-lux, boutique hotel chic, but lovely, clean, spacious and great-value accommodation. Jack was brilliant at communicating, provided all the help we needed. Wasn't too tricky to find parking nearby. He also left some breakfast goodies, which was handy for our first morning. The flat provided a brilliant base for exploring the surrounding coastline. No TV, but who needs one on a beachside holiday! This flat did just what it said on the tin, and we'd definitely stay there again...

Jacks place in the heart of Swanage is great for access to the beach and amenities with many restaurants and bars within 2 mins walking time, The lounge and bedroom are spacious and comfortable and there is the added bonus of having a balcony where you can watch the world go by. Jack is a great host, Communicates quickly and clearly and nothing is too much trouble for him.

We had a great time in Swanage. The location was perfect. Jack was very cooperative and had the flat ready when we arrived. We would definitely stay at Jack's again and would highly recommend it.

Louise was chatty and engaging. The house was quite high on a hill but all was really as described.

We were made to feel very welcome by Jeremy and Louise in their lovely house atop a steep hill, with beautiful views across the bay. Their dogs and cats are friendly, and we were lucky enough to meet some visiting kittens! There was a safe area for bicycles to be locked up. Breakfast was very nice and both hosts were keen to recommend places to visit nearby, like a nice pub down the road with great food.

We had a wonderful time staying with Jeremy and Louise. The listing was just as advertised and there is also now a lock on the door of the bedroom (as this was mentioned in an earlier review) The views from the house are fantastic and we slept wonderfully. I loved the breakfast as well, and was particularly impressed with being offered some lactose free/vegan options. Jeremy and Louise really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I'd come back any time and highly recommend staying with them.

This house is just beautiful. We can honestly recommend staying with Louise and Jeremy to everybody. They made us feel welcome from the first moment to the last. With an astonishing sea view from our bedroom, this house is located on the hillside. We love Swanage, and hope to return for a longer stay someday.

Very good communication prior to arrival from Sarah and Brian. Spacious room with a lovely big bed, and it was fun to see the steam trains passing! Quiet residential area, maybe 10 mins walk from the centre. The hosts provided plates, spoons and knives - useful for snacks. Overall a very good experience.

We loved our stay in Swanage. So very pretty. Sarahs place was an easy walk to town. Loved the harbour and walks on the headlands and Corfe. The room was very well equipped clean and comfy. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Sarah's room is exactly what we needed for a night in Swanage. It's spacious, clean, bright and airy with plenty of room for the three of us. The small extras of tea,coffee, small fridge, bowls, plates etc were very welcome. My daughter loved seeing the steam trains go past the end of the garden. We'll definitely be going back and would thoroughly recommend the room.

Sarah was a great host making us feel welcome and very accommodating even when we had to change our time of arrival a couple of times. Very easy going and warm and friendly. The house is situated about 10 mins from the Swanage seafront although we really used it as a base to go to the Monkey Sanctuary and to Lulworth Cove. The accommodation was good value for the money and all very clean and tidy and we would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Communication with Sarah was great before we arrived, so once we were there everything was as expected and better. We were only stopping for one night so didn't need much - but we had everything that we could have wanted. Great location (short walk in to town for dinner), comfortable beds and a lovely shower. I'd definitely recommend staying here. And we saw the steam train go past!

Room nicely fits me, my wife and 1.5 year old son as well as my sister. The owner was kind enough to provide us with a baby cot (not to mention very friendly and kind). Location is easy to find and within driving (even walking) distance to the town. Room was very clean and neatly kept. Really enjoyed the beach/seaside theme of the room and bathroom. Nicely done! The bed and sofa bed were both extremely comfortable! The attached bathroom is handy and it ensures your privacy. Occasional sounds of the steam engine whistle behind the house adds up to an extremely pleasant and lovely ambiance to the house. Would recommend the room to anyone.

A lovely flat right in the heart of Swanage. Set behind a shop in High St, so protected from noise but still close to everything. Helen welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. And for those occasional rainy days, the wifi and smart TV are great!

Helen welcomed us on arrival, late on a Friday night and was very friendly and showed us where everything was. The flat was furnished to a high standard which we were really pleased about and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. There was a good amount of space for all of us and the sofa bed was comfy too. Touches like the Smart TV and eggs from her home made this stay even better. The location of the flat is fantastic in the heart of Swanage and parking was easy to find.

What a fabulous time we had in this cute little flat in Swanage! Just a hop, skip and a jump from the sea, nestled right in the heart of the town - it was a perfect little romantic getaway! Beautiful, clean, modern, and just the right size for cosy evenings. Helen made our stay so easy - even making sure we had milk in the fridge when we arrived late on Christmas Eve. We would DEFINITELY stay here again - there is still so much we want to see and do!

Spent a wonderful few days exploring Purbeck and relaxing after our wedding. Would highly recommend this brilliantly located, very cosy flat, off Swanage High Street. Eclectic mix of places to eat, all 2 mins from the front door. Was a little concerned about parking before arriving, but turned out to be extremely easy to find somewhere free, 5 mins walk away, even in the height of summer.

Helen was most helping in getting us settling in. She responded very quickly to enquiries and made us feel most welcome.

We enjoyed our stay at Helen's place. Everything was as described and milk and hot cross buns on arrival went down well. The flat was ideally situated and we had no problem finding parking spaces, though not next to the flat. We were four adults and it was a tight fit but don't be put off. The flat would be ideal for two adults or two adults and two children. The situation was superb, really close to the town centre. When communicating Helen was always prompt and helpful when replying.

Exactly what it says on the tin. A lovely apartment, with everything you need for a weekend away from the daily grind. Although there's no parking at the house, there's plenty free on surrounding streets.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was a good size for us (a couple with a newborn). There is a comfy large bed and room for a travel cot. This is a lovely quiet area of Swanage but within easy walking distance of town and countryside and with easy parking. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and we were delighted with the studio apartment. It had everything needed for a short break and we were very grateful for the efficient heating system for our December stay. The soft furnishings and bedding were particularly lovely and very reminiscent of an expensive hotel.

The apartment was perfect for our 2 night stay, it had everything we needed! We arrived late at night and David had left us chocolates and milk, a lovely treat. Thanks David!

We were made very welcome. The studio apartment was very comfortable and the facilities were of a very high standard. The location was excellent. A short walk from the apartment took one to the coastal path. We soon realized that the area would require more than the week we had to explore! The apartment also had its own private entrance but the hosts were on hand if anything else was required. The apartment also had its own private patio area which added an extra dimension to the stay. We had a great time in Swanage. David was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us some indications about things to do nearby and had lots of info in the apartment. The apartment was very clean and cosy. The kitchen was great and has everything you need if you decide to cook. The area is quiet and safe.We even had some home-made cookies waiting for us! We would definitely recommend!

Found Nikki's house to be a great place to stay and the room comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and the shower particularly good. Nice breakfast - and such good value really. My partner and I stayed here one night for a special occasion. The house was nice, the breakfast was lovely. The location is excellent just a minute from the beach. Swanage is lovely. You could sea the sea from our room, which was excellent, but the room was a little cold even after the heating had been on a while. Nikki changed the checkout time, which meant we had to leave hours earlier than agreed.

Nikki was a great host and her kids are lovely. The place felt like you would come and visit your favourite aunt. And absolute pleasure.

It was lovely to be met by Angela who gave us a tour of the house and answered all of our questions. The house lived up to our very high expectations and was absolutely perfect for the 8 of us, giving us plenty of space so that we didn't feel on top of each other. It's a new house and the build quality and the fixtures were of a high standard. The kitchen is very well equipped there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there. The location is absolutely perfect for visiting those tourist areas such as Corfe Castle, Poole, Brownsea Island and of course the beach all with very little travel. We had an amazing stay and the house really was the cherry on the top.

Absolutely lovely stay at Angela's house in Langton Matravers. It's a stunning location. Angela was really good at communication beforehand and left us lots of goodies in the fridge to make our stay that little bit better. The house was fantastic and really spacious; we had everything we needed and more.

This place is about as great as possible for the price. Large, modern and comfortable with a big garden. I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore the area / hike the Jurassic Coast.

This is a really beautiful home, which is really well equipped & has a stunning garden to match. Angela provides little extras to make it a real home from home. The location is great, the Kings Arms does smashing pub grub & serves a mean pint of cider! Would definitely go back

Angela was a great host, especially leaving us all a wonderful breakfast! The house and location was perfect and the local pub and shop are very handy close by. We would definitely stay here again!

Angela was extremely welcoming. She met us at the door and warmly showed us around her gorgeous house. The house is brand new and everything was spotlessly clean. It is huge and all the bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms were modern and luxurious. Angela had left comprehensive manuals for all the appliances so it was easy to settle in quickly. She had also left us provisions for breakfast which was totally unexpected and very welcome. We were a party of 6 adults, 3 children and a dog and there was plenty of space for all of us. The garden is safe and enclosed and although it rained during our stay, we did manage to sit outside for a little bit and enjoy the fabulous views of the countryside beyond the garden. The property is very well located. Swanage is a short drive away and we took a lovely trip on the steam train all the way to the fantastic Corfe Castle. We also visited the beach at Sandbanks and had a walk around Poole harbour. Unfortunately we ran out of time. There was so much more to see and do. A good excuse for a return visit.

Lovely modern comfortable , spacious and airy home that we used for a family Xmas get together. Lovely views out over fields from a large back garden. Fully equipped with everything and anything you could possibly need or want. Lovely log burner. All the bedrooms are large and spacious ...proper double bedrooms . Angela was helpful, and the booking and arranging to get the keys was a breeze. From personal experience waking up with a hangover and being able to take an amazing shower in a massive walk in shower with a very large shower head. 3 large bathrooms all brilliantly spacious. The property and location was lovely, and as described. We had a great long weekend here and our only complaint about the property was the paper thin ceiling. If you were in either of the 2 bedrooms above the lounge you can literally here everything going on - wouldn't recommend if you have people going to bed at different times as sleep was impossible- the ceiling is that paper thin. Apart from that it was a fab house. After leaving the property I text the host just to say thanks and apologise as we broke one glass. The text I got back was disappointing with the host accusing us of hosting a major party! We were a family group with the youngest at 10months and the oldest at 55 - not party material! We had music on till 9 at the latest and had visitors over on Sunday to celebrate a birthday but this was during the day and no one stayed late/overnight. Overall great house....poor host.

Lovely house on Bell st, beautifully furnished with little details, I thought it was cute, loved all the cat sculptures etc. the house was clean, had a great character, and at a great price.

The cottage is every thing you want it to be for a sea side break, clean, tidy, well equipped, full of charm and a little bit quirky. It is an easy, pleasant 20 minute stroll into town and the on street parking is not a problem at all. We did not meet Debi in person but she was very quick in responding to our booking and messages. The information sent about the property was easy to follow and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back. (One last note the Globe pub at the end of the road does excellent food)

Extremely clean, well designed and laid out. Everything you need for a great stay. Quiet at night as well. Parking wasn't a problem even though it is on street. I look forward to going again when the litte garden is finished to see how they design it.

Wonderful location near to the beach. Although compact it was very comfortable and clean. Our breakfast was left in the fridge as requested and the supplies were very generous. In good weather you could sit outside and be in a small and pretty garden. Website is accurate and photos also.

I can't recommend this place enough! The accommodation is lovely, nicely decorated and well proportioned. We were really impressed with the quality of the vegetarian breakfast Hamish provided. The location is nice and quiet, a £5 taxi takes you into the centre of Swannage, the fact that this place is opposite the Grand Hotel makes it easy to order the taxi home too!
