What a wonderful place! Felt as if we were living in nature, our long weekend was just not enough. Leonila was incredibly helpful, not only in booking but also in helping us to get to El Paradesio. Alek her helper was there to help if we needed anything! When we arrived cold drinks awaited, a beautiful house with full cooling system, small touches like the hand embroidered welcome bag, the fully functional kitchen and dining room, even BBQ to enjoy outdoor cooking made things to comfortable for the family. With more than 5 hectares of land overlooking the ocean, so much to explore. But best of all was the wonderful infinity salt-water swimming pool over looking the ocean. Waking in the morning to visiting horses and doves, playing in the pool, watching the sea turtles feeding on seagrass, snorkelling, it all made a wonderful escape to nature, with a some very appreciated luxuries to make for a perfect break! Only a couple of hours from Cebu, don't miss it!

El Paradesio is a little piece of paradise! If you are looking for a relaxing few days after visiting the surrounding islands, this is the place for you. Horses roaming around, ducks, dogs, it was a truly unique experience. Everything was perfect, from the amazingly helpful Alex to the pool and patio on the cliff. Leonila and her staff made sure we had the best experience through small but much appreciated extras, like candles in the pool at nigh time or a beautiful set of toiletries that we brought home after our stay. Loved to be away from the hustle and bustle of Cebu. Quite the drive away from the city but completely worth it. The care takers were willing to go above and beyond just to make you're stay as comfortable as possible. Would recommend stocking up on food before you arrive. (URL HIDDEN)

Place: The place is charmingly simple, serene, and spacious. Two thumbs up for thr gazebo, tree house, outdoor furniture, and all the flora. The kitchen and shower were stocked with everything that we needed. Host: Sarah was very responsive and answered all my inquiries. For her future guests: You don't need to worry as Sarah has wonderful caretakers to attend to your need(s).

Our family spent a blissful three days at Eking's beautiful villa. We wanted a place where we could completely relax and unwind, and this suited our purposes perfectly. The villa itself is lovely and comfortable, with lots of windows to take advantage of the stunning ocean views. The property, right on the ocean with private ocean access, is lovely. Our three sons (21, 19 and 17) enjoyed the pool, billiards, kayaks and paddleboard, and we took advantage of the opportunity to have the staff cook some meals for us. The rate was quite reasonable and May's cooking was great! A few notes: the villa is pretty far removed from towns of any size, so it's probably not the best place to stay if you are looking for a central location. It's ideal as a getaway, a place to unplug, unwind, and just enjoy the beauty of the ocean. Also, the second bedroom is on the lower level near the pool with its own entrance, which was perfect for our older sons but might be a problem if your children are small. The property does not have a sandy beach, so if you're looking for a typical beach experience you might be disappointed, but we enjoyed just lounging in/around the pool, enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. Eking was wonderful to work with, very easy to communicate with and very helpful with our questions. The staff on the property was wonderful. They really do a wonderful job of keeping the place tidy and they helped us with everything we needed. We were all sad to leave and would go back any chance we got!

Our overnight stay here was very relaxing and fun. The rooms were big, comfortable and very clean. The entire house was made with comfort in mind. Any part of the house you go, you will always find a comfortable spot. The host and the staff were very accomodating. Our experience in the villa exceeded our expectations.

The villa was perfect ! We spent 6 night and enjoyed every single minute. It is very spacious ,full equipped,modernity furnished and very clean! And the housekeeper is very helpful and able us with all our needs!

We had the best time at Doc Eking's place! My family was happy that we chose to stay here and we didn't want to leave. Pictures you see are great but when you get here, it's awesome! If we were to describe everything about this place, it's more than 10+++ stars experience!! Communicating with Doc Eking was smooth and we felt comfortable asking questions before booking the place. It was nice of him to check on us and we had a great time. When we arrived, my family was amazed of the wonderful hospitality with a welcome note and goodies! And we were surprised with the whole place,the design, the furnishings and layout were all good. We can't pick rooms for each one because every room was unique and beautiful :-) And the pool, the view, the beach were superb! Doc Eking had staffs there and they took care of us really well. Junjun and his team were friendly and Archie - their dog was friendly and lovable too! For the listing,there were several rooms and the kitchen had complete utensils and it we brought our groceries and cooked home made meals! They had cable TV and aircondition rooms. Signal for Smart and Sun were strong but no 3G signal. And so, we definitely had loads of quality family time of laughter and fun! This listing is just 1.5hrs from Mandaue City. There's orange flags at the roadside gate and Doc Eking will give you instructions how to get there. It has jacuzzi, pool was just right in size and depth and there's stairs leading to beach that had clear waters. They also had kayaks and snorkels. Definitely a plus! It's safe to stay here, place is clean and well maintained. And the room at the attic had beautiful views. I want to write more to describe how beautiful the place is but more than that, the host- Doc Eking and his staffs added to our wonderful overall experience. Will highly recommend this place to our friends and we are already planning to come back again to this place for a longer time.

Good service and view. Love the environment, thanks to all the staff and communication with Eking is very good. But it's not convenient, it's too far from the market and airport. But still love the outside sports in the villa. Kayaking is too funny, I would love to come again. The villa is very good for family and friends to stay.

When we arrived at Seaside Villa we where met by Eking's very friendly staff who helped unload the van and showed us around the Villa. Since it was our wedding anniversary we where welcomed with a nice note from our host along with a bottle of champagne and some nuts.

It's our second time to book and stay at this listing. And this time, we stayed for 2 nights. We greatly enjoyed our stay especially the pool and the stand up paddle board. The area has 3G signal from Smart and the house has wifi and cable TV too. Their attic room has amazing sunrise and sunset views. Guests can even avail of the different island hopping activities, and watersport activities like kayak and stand up paddle board at a reasonable rate. I loved staying by the pool at the swing or at the pool bar. And also, they had these adult floaters for the pool, we definitely had lots of fun and games at the pool. You'll surely want to keep coming back to this place :-) We're so happy with our stay at this house. Me and my family greatly appreciate the warm hospitality of Doc Eking and his staffs. Thanks for hosting us again and hope to be back again soon :-)

Eking has a wonderful home! my family and I were happy to be there 6 days! Eking was very attentive! Answered all our questions, advised where to go! We like Eking and Maria! The house is very large, cosy! There is a great view and pool! Next there was a great service! They helped us a lot to organize everyday life! Thank you! We recommend this lovely house!

Bunzie's cove was perfect! The place was quiet and relaxing and the caretakers were very helpful. Beth was also very quick to answer all my questions. No fuss at all. Stayed here with some friends and we all had a good time.

Beth is a great host. She's so patient in responding to all my queries prior to booking as well as all clarifications I made before our stay. Bunzie's Cove staff also made our stay very pleasant. Kids and adults enjoyed both the beach and infinity pool. The lovely artworks and decor in the Villa, Guestroom, and Lookout all contribute to the charm of the place. The only hiccup we experienced is when the person who led our companions to the Villa where they would be spending the night missed to inform our companions that there's still a bedroom at the basement so 4 of our companions had to sleep and share the cots in the loft. There is no restaurant in the property, however, guests are free to use their kitchens and utensils and no corkage for food and drink. Guests can always inform Bunzie's Cove ahead should they wish to hire a cook for an additional fee because the cook is not a staff of Bunzie's Cove. Really charming place. Perfect getaway. Splendid escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. No TV, no internet connection within the property, no Globe signal, but it's always great to spend quality time with the family.

It was no doubt the view was amazing Caretakers was friendly. The swimming pool was same as described. Only a few down side were that the place was a bit too remote, it was OK when driving out to Cebu city direction about 2 Hr. Coming from Cebu city is a different story as there will always be traffic jam . So I suggest you allocate more time when going to the house . Second was the noise if the water pump for toilet, after one night we manage to find out ut can be turned off outside . Air con was just about fine. Please note, there is another air con room at the basement, this rooms toilet coming with hot shower. After all I would still recommend it .

Great place to relax and away from hustle bustle Cool at night and great big living room and terrace. My favorite of all the places I've ever stayed...I wish it was my own home!!

The stay at Frede and Maribeths house was absolutely fantastic! They and Maribeths family who lives in the village were always sharing, giving a helping hand, taking us out to interesting places and providing information. We were for example invited to a birthday BBQ and an absolutely crazy evening at the local Karaoke bar. The house is very well equipped and if there was something missing they brought it in minutes. Let me recomend a picknick at the cold spring, a lazy day at Botchoy beach, a walk to the village market Sunday morning. Ask for Olysses (not shure about spelling) if you need best guide with 100% knowledge about the surroundings, also ask him to teach you how to make the "hanging rice" baskets. I recomend you to order transport with the family, also to stay and do grocery shopping on the way as its a limited range in the village. Eggs, bread and water, Coke, fruit is not a problem.
