5 stars may not do justice to this place. Wish I could over-rate the place. Binod adds all the extra stars to the property. His immense care and service for the guests will definitely leave you with a sense of deep comfort. He is always ready to help, not just on his property but regarding anything and everything that happens in and around Trivendrum. He can take care of your sight-seeing and Transportation for absolutely no personal gain, with the only motive to help you have an awesome vacation. Stay with this guy, and you will have an experience to remember for a long long time. And of course, you will save some money following his advice on sightseeing and transportation. :-) Property is exactly as described. Honestly under-described for its serenity, calmness and the green surroundings it has.

Great little getaway near Kovalam, away from the tourist hub but very close to the beaches via short rickshaw trip...Binod is an extremely kind, helpful host who went out of his way to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible...the room is impeccably presented and sound of waves crashing makes it a very relaxing place to spend time...highly recommend! Chose Binod's place for a private get together. The property is very much spacious and the building sits on one corner of it. Lots of fresh air and an outdoor hut adds to the charm. The room was spacious enough to accommodate 4 and the bathrooms were clean. Mr. Binod was kind enough to grant us access to the kitchen (which normally comes along only if the whole building is taken) as we were the only guests for the day. The property is sea facing but there is no direct access to it, would have to walk a hundred meters (not a big deal) outside the property to reach the sea side. Binod was there when we arrived and provided all support till we left, appreciate the effort. The place is silent and is recommended for families of small groups who would want to spent some silent and quality time on the outskirts of the city. And be aware that there are no restaurants nearby, you can either bring in food, or the host offers homemade food if informed in advance. Would love to visit again. Cheers.

Fantastic place to stay, 10 minutes from town so very quiet and secluded. The most beautiful view ever.

Good view however little walking is required in case u don't have ur own vehicle

The studio apartment was very charming and had lovely views of the backwaters and the sea. We had a great time sitting on the balcony and watching the fishermen and their activities. The place might be a little hard to find, especially if you are to arrive after dark hours, as it is hidden all the way on the beach, outside of Trivandrum. However Matthew was very responsive and helpful and we also had a lovely breakfast the next morning. We only stayed one night there, but would have loved to spend more courtesy of the location. Very peaceful.

After a few surprises we settled in and enjoyed our stay. Firstly, the WiFi was an extra fee but the signal was bad so was not worth paying for. Second the breakfast was extra and thirdly it turned out that we had not paid for air-conditioning so if you want it make sure to select a different listing on airbnb. This is a small guest house in a village about 5-10 mins walk from nearest beach with a few restaurants. Friendly villagers and you can watch fishermen and birds in the lagoon in front of the house.

Place in the middle of the backwaters and very close to Hawa Beach, a good place to spend your nights while visiting Kovalam

Place is a little remote but this adds to the experience, very peaceful location, you can hear the waves crashing onto the beach. Room was clean and tidy If you are happy to walk to the main road (approx 10-15min) you can catch a bus to City or Kovalam. Caretaker was a man of few words, but did his job checking me in, and was about all the time, I'm sure if I needed anything he would have been willing to help (over coming any language barrier). I arrived after dark from being out all day and he was there with a torch at my door to help me get into my room. Overall nice place to stay, remote, peaceful, clean & tidy

Hi Thanks for suggesting this wonderful place in Trivandrum. Mr Mathew is a good host, he made all arrangements to make the stay a memorable one. The care taker Mr. Babu makes you really comfortable. The host was very nice and was very responsive. The location of this space was excellent and is very convieniant to any where in Trivandrum you would need to go to. I was very comfortable here and the airconditioning was nice and cool! The tv did not offer many stations. I was unable to get the hot water to work- maybe my ineptitude! Very comfortable bed as well. All in all I was pleased with my stay at this apartment for the price a very good deal and across the street from the Hilton!

Amazing stay at affordable price..The rooms are big, clean and the service good . Location is at the heart of the city and all the main spots in the city is hardly 10 minutes away..Got option to cook as well..Will prefer this in my future trip as well..Thanks Airbnb for giving this awesome experience.
