Our home is located right in the center of beautiful Tlacolula, Oaxaca. During your stay you can visit many tourist locations such as the Farmers Market where you can purchase organic foods/clothing (3 min away)! You can sight see our Mitla/MonteAlban ruins where you can enjoy the archaeological sights and take pictures (25-45 min away)! Enjoy Matatlan famous for its Mezcal (45 minutes away!) Visit the 2000 yr old Tule tree (30 min away)! Visit Teotitlan and see our textiles (15 min away)!

It’s located 45 minutes from the international airport, Hierve El Agua, Montel Alban, the main city and many other tourist places, including textile and pottery towns. It’s an excellent location!

La Danta, a Garden retreat within the city center of Oaxaca. You will be staying inside an incredible Garden built over 30 years ago inside the aqueduct that brought water to the city. Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

Cabin with sleeping platform and terrace viewpoint located on the mezcal route. While you rest, enjoy the scenery of the agave fields, mountains, and stars. Outside there is a shared kitchen that you can use to prepare your own food. The cabin is located on the international highway that connects the capital with tourist places such as Tlacolula de Matamoros, Mitla or Hierve el Agua. All kinds of public transportation pass by on the road: bus, van, or taxi.
