We had a six nights stay in Trikeri and found the place just exactly as described. If you don't like to be within crowdy places, this is a perfect place to stay! The house was beautifully renovated and we didn't lack anything. The surrounding is beautiful and you have a nice view from the balcony. Vangelis (the uncle living in the house) was very nice and helpful for planning our excursions. Having your own car is absolutely recommended for reaching further beaches and the next village milena! Though Trikeri is a small village it is still lively and you will have some traffic in front of the house going down to the village by the sea. You will also hear some dogs barking at night, which didn't bother us particularly. We were the only guests staying at the house, so it was very calm. Trikeri was our last stop of our three weeks Pilion holiday and we really enjoyed our stay!

My goodness.Where do I start. First of all, Voula and Vangelis are the perfect hosts.They were like our family while we were in Greece,and they made our stay oh-so-special.They showed us the lovely Greek hospitality and by the end of the whole trip, they became our new friends.Absolutely precious. Secondly, the house was a stunner.Looks exactly like the pictures and the view's magnificent. It's charming,with historical and unique pieces in every little corner of the house.There's a beautiful little garden outside where you can spend a lovely evening chatting and admiring the stars.The house is located in a very serene village,and it's perfect for those who are very laid-back & those who are looking for some peace and quiet surrounded by nature.There are some amazing beaches around, however,unless you're keen on very long walks everywhere I would recommend you to rent a car before you get here,otherwise the beaches and sights would be quite a far walk away. Nonetheless, it would still be magical. If you want a beautiful,peaceful and charming stay in a rustic village surrounded by nature, where your only problem would be deciding on a beach to swim at for the day, then this is it. It's a real gem for a real traveller at heart,a treat for those for the search of adventure and beauty.Not packed with tourists and you'll actually get to experience the local's way of living. Our trip was beautiful, and Voula and Vangelis, thank you very much. We hope to see you again in the near future. I and my wife had one of our best holiday experience here. Vangelis is a wonderful host, has a great personality. He was so kind to show us around and hidden natural beaches nearby. The house is exactly as it is shown on pictures with a splendid sea view. We strongly recommend this accomodation for anyone willing to stay in Trikeri.

Ein wunderschönes Haus in traditioneller Bauweise mit einer atembereubenden Aussicht. Der Gastgeber Vangelis ist die Gutmütigkeit in Person. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir bekamen viele Informationen die unseren Aufenthalt in der Gegend sehr bereichert haben. Trikeri ist ein das Hauptdorf in der Region. Am Berg gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet um Urlaub zu machen. Ein wunderschöner Markplatz und die engen Gassen laden zum Spazieren ein. Wir möchten uns nochmals herzlich für den schönen Aufenthalt bedanken. Wir kommen sicherlich mal wieder vorbei...

Villa Elektra was in a very quit location and only steps from the water. It was clean and comfortable. When we arrived the host was waiting for us. We found fresh fruit and flowers on the table. Very homey.

Nice elegant garden and appartement. Excellent swimming. The coast was a little crowded in summer, but thats to be expected.

Easy instructions to find property, apartment was as described, if not better, lovely place to stay ( nine nights ) could have stayed longer and been happy, Bartholamou was just right as a host , helpful, but not over the top. The only caution I would add is that maybe not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

We had à wonderful stay at Barthlolomeo's house. It is perfectly located, charming, with à beautiful garden and beach down the house. I recommend his place to Airbnb guests.

We were visiting Villa Elektra in early May. To reach the villa we followed the Diplomats Holidays road sign and then turned left. The road is somewhat rough during these last several hundred meters, so you might prefer to leave passengers out if you do not own an SUV. The host met us as we arrived to the villa entrance, showed us around and left us to enjoy our holidays. We received prompt replies via email to our further questions during the day. In early May we seemed to be the only people in the area as the trips season was only about to start. The villa It is a spectacular place to stay at. We had two rooms with two small bathrooms and air conditioning and good Internet, hot water, amazing furniture, small kitchen area, bath towels and bedclothes. The plants and lawns near the house are absolutely wonderful and offer shade during peak sun hours. Private beach was another thing we came to appreciate as it was clean and cosy. We enjoyed seldom swims in the clear water (as it was still a bit cold). Our daughter especially liked the segment with sandy bottom though rocky areas did not cause discomfort. At night the sky view was spectacular with hundreds of visible stars. The only aspect to keep in mind that the parking space in front of the villa is rather limited, so get mentally ready for turning around and parking on a slope. Parking was the only tasks that appeared to be stressful to me. I would recommend checking your brakes (especially the hand brake) and absolutely putting a fair anti-rolling stone behind the rear wheel to sleep well at night. The area We expected to find some brand supermarkets in the area, but it was a wrong assumption. Chorto has two small shops and we found several more in Milina (the next village south). Lidl shops are located in the Volos city area which is a 50km trip. So keep that in mind when planning the trip. In early May all restaurants seemed rather empty with only a few visitors attending them. For several evenings we visited Casablanca place being the only guests to enjoy colorful interior lighting and home-made cakes. We did several walks to Chorto and Milina, the latter having kids playground for out daughter. Our attempts to have a boat trip from Platanias failed as the ship starts somewhere in June. One day we went to Volos to experience more active city life, while all other time was filled with piece and silence. Conclusions Villa Elektra is a superb place to spend your holidays in comfort and piece. Consider the food/supermarkets and driving/parking aspects, get a flashlight (to navigate after the sunset) and beach accessories to make the most of your trip. You might also prefer to travel later than we did to get warmer sea and more entertainment options.

We had a great time at Villa elekra, a wonderful accommodation with one foot in the sea and one foot in the living room! Very kind owner, who made us find cool drinks and delicious fruits to our arrive .The house is comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. Too bad there were only 3 days ....

Great place, the location is amazing (a bit tricky for parking but ok), the house is comfortable and convenient, and the owner is very kind! We were very sorry we have to leave two days before because of a cancellation of our return ferry.

Violetta Appartments is a very nice and relaxing place, with a friendly owner, always ready to help. The appartments have a wonderful view and make you feel that you never want to leave again. A beautiful garden, the beach right opposite the house, amazing sunsets above the island on the other side of the bay. Nature all around, a small shop, a few quiet restaurants nearby, the lively village Milina in walking distance. It was all great, we will surely come back again, and again....

Really, really recommend staying in one of the rooms of the Mountain top suite. The house is really great, decorated old school style which makes your stay in this part of Greece even more exciting. And what can I say about the hosts - Voula and Vagelis were more than host to us, they were really great - showed us all the beautiful beaches and places where you can have nice meal. They were really nice company and made our vacation even more pleasant.
