Grocery Store
“Everyone needs groceries! Rest assured that when you get to Provo, you will have access to many of the supermarket foods that you are used to buying in North America. Sure, they may come in a different bag or box, and might be a different brand, but potato chips are potato chips, right?! LOL Graceway IGA, located on Leeward Highway (the main four lane road that you take from the airport to LVA), is about a five minute drive travelling east from La Vista Azul. They have a large fresh produce section, dairy, cereals, baby food, baby supplies, and everything in between. And yes, they sell beer, wine & spirits. They have an incredible selection of everything, chilled and room temperature, to suit your needs. BUT, no alcohol sales on Sundays. No exceptions. Even if you beg, it ain't gonna happen. Oh. Did I say it was a little expensive?! Well, everything has to be brought to Provo from being grown on neighbouring islands, or simply from being imported from other countries around the world. That bag of chips that you are used to paying $2.00 for, will likely be four or five dollars. Once you are here, it is hard to even think about it though. Your mind very quickly adapts to the different price level because of where you are. On a beach, on a tiny tropical island in the middle of the ocean. That five dollar bag of chips is sounding pretty good right about now isn't it?!”
