Fantastic spacious studio in a perfect location for the Hervey Bay airport (for trips to stunning Lady Elliot Island). Sam is very friendly and communication was easy. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely 3 day break at the Blue Bay Studio, we stayed here as a base for our tour around Fraser Island and to explore Hervey Bay. Sam had lots of information about the area like where to go & where to eat. The studios interior is beautiful and finished to a high standard, with everything you need. Sam was a lovely host, very friendly & helpful! We would definitely stay again & highly recommend this peaceful slice of paradise.

We loved our stay at Sam's place! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen counter top is really useful - we used the electric table top cooker to make dinner and had private outside space to sit and enjoy it. A 10-15 minute walk into the centre, the studio is in a quiet residential street. Sam was warm and welcoming, really informative and all round brilliant host. We would definitely recommend Blue Bay Studio!

My Navigation didn't work properly due to update issue. but she explained patiently and finally we could find the house. because we checked in at night, there were some mosquitoes got in together with us. we killed them all and went to bed. toilet and kitchen was clean and tidy. when it rained in the morning I enjoyed rainy sound on the roof. good location to the beach and beach cafe.

We stayed for three nights and had a great time. The kitchen has everything you need and it's a really short distance from shopping centre and the beach. We didn't meet Linda but we met her sons and her husband and had lovely talks. They were also very nice giving us advices and finding everythink in the kitchen :)

Linda and Gunther were lovely and welcoming but gave lots of space and privacy too. They have a big, beautiful house right in the bush and we saw owls and frogs and lizards everywhere outside which was nice. Their pool is awesome too! Would definitely come back again

We had a wonderful stay! The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. Their house is beautiful and the pool was really nice to relax. The whole family were so good to us and we were lucky enough to be picked up when we arrived. The shops are located conveniently and the house isn't far from Urangan pier and surrounding area. We really did enjoy our stay and they all did a fantastic job looking after us.

We had a great stay with Rose-Lee and her parents. They were very friendly to us. Although they had visitors in the evening when we arrived, we didn't feel as second class guests. We had a couple of minutes to talk each other and we enjoyed the warm atmosphere in their home. We were allowed to use the kitchen (unfortunately we had no time to cook for us) and the dryer as well. So last but not least we could say, thank you to Rose-Lee and her mom and dad for a welcoming rest in their home.

We had a great stay with Rose-Lee and her lovely parents Rhonda and Dean. They were all so welcoming and friendly and very helpful with tips and organising a day trip to Fraser Island. The house is just as lovely as the family that live there; very spacious and tastefully decorated. The bedroom is a perfect size and has a big wardrobe-a couple more pieces of furniture such as bedside tables would make it absolutely perfect! The bed and sheets were lovely and we had 2 great night's sleep. The bathroom was lovely-really good size and very clean with bath and shower. We even did some laundry during our stay which was really useful. A great stay and highly recommend.

Very comfortable accommodation and Katie is a lovely host with her delightful two young children . The other pluses include the gated community so felt very safe , and use of the communal swimming pool which was lovely and relaxing . The slight negative is that if you don't have your own transport it is a 20 minute walk from the nearest bus station and there are no local shops for food provisions, so best to buy before you arrive. However , the YHA ( 20 min walk ) serves a good choice of hot/ cold food all day at very competitive prices. A stay at Katie's is great value for money and I can recommend it to other travellers.

Nice spacious place just across the road from a great dog beach. Rick and Kirstene are lovely hosts and very friendly and helpful. Attached garden ideal for dogs (very safe and secure). All the little things that make it easy for taking your dog on holiday have been thought about here. Thanks!

We had an amazing time at 'Top Tier'. It was in a great location that was close to all amenities but still extremely quiet. The accommodation itself is spacious and very clean. Rick and his family were lovely and were readily on hand for any questions. We will be back.

Where do I start with a review for this fantastic 3 night stay with Leanne ? The location is excellent, right on the beach, but just back far enough not to get too much traffic noise (the sunrises and sunsets were amaazing). The unit itself was very spacius and clean, a great lounge , dinning room and good size bedrooms with a well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Leanne was there to meet us and explain all about the local area, where to eat , use of 2 bikes and 2 kayaks if needed. She even baked us some Anzac biscuits on the eve of our national holiday !

My friends and I didn't have a lot of time at the Pier House but we wish we had more! Di and Ron were very welcoming, and have a beautiful home. If you're looking for a lovely, clean and very homey feeling place to stay then I highly recommend this! Looking forward to possibly going back in a few months to see more of the area :) Thank you both!

Our stay was great. We arrived a bit late but they still were gracious hosts. They showed us the accommodations and provided a nice breakfast in the morning. Everything was clean and inviting. Di was also very friendly when we met her. The king room was great because it provided 3 separate twin beds as well.

Great tidy comfortable house. Awesome big deck out the back which was great for bbq & a few quiet drinks. Very pet friendly, secure yard, welcome treats for the dogs on arrival. Also great for the kids. Board games, family friendly DVDs & a wii also at the house. Will definitely be back.

The house was awesome we had a great time so did the fur babies, would highly recommend. Very close to boat ramp we saw loads of whales and turtles and caught lots of fish.... we will be back to stay at the house again.

This was a lovely house if you want a holiday with your puppies. Had a great fully fenced yard and both us and our dogs found it great for a week away. Felt that both us and dogs were very welcome. Good area for walking the dogs and seemed like a quiet neighbourhood.

Sandra's place was beautifully presented with comfortable beds, air con, a private courtyard, well appointed kitchen. She had provided big fuffy towels, lovely selection of toiletries, AND all the necessary food supplies one needs on settling in before going out to shop e.g. milk, fruit juice,bread, jams and cereals. This place is right near the heart of Hervey Bay which is within walking distance on the beach promenade. There is actually only a road separating the apartment from the beach itself. The apartment itself is very spacious and can easily fit 4, with a lovely little outdoor area to enjoy the sun and a BBQ. The design is very modern and the accommodation very clean. Garage is included as well. Communication with Sandra was quick and easy, and Dee was kind enough to help with the keys for Check-in and out. Would definitely recommend and come back any time

Sandra's place was absolutely fantastic. We had everything we needed with the added extra of a beach just a few metres away. Sandra's home was well equipped and there was good communication regarding keys and check ups to see that all was well. A great place to stay.

If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable & secure home in a great location from which to base yourself while exploring Harvey Bay, Fraser Island and surrounds then this is perfect. Across the road from the beach, walking distance to cafes & the wonderful 'Vineyard' restaurant. Tour bus companies were happy to collect & drop us off on the Esplanade just a few steps from the front door. Beach towels, washing machine & comfy beds were all great. So much more relaxing than a big hotel, we highly recommend Sandra's place.

Sandra's villa is clean, comfortable and in a really great spot across the road from the beach. We enjoyed our morning walks and swims. We also found it not too far to walk to restaurants for dinner. Communication was efficient and the breakfast items were a nice touch.

Sandra's place was awesome. Amazing value for the money! Dolores helped check us in and was so sweet. My only regret was not staying longer! Side note - Vinyard was delicious for dinner if you're looking for a place close by.

Great spot near beach

Ros and Paul are terrific hosts and overall nice people! Their new home is lovely, and comfy! In the morning we even saw two kangaroos in the empty grasslands across the street, which was an added bonus! They went far over and above expectations! We would happily stay here again and will definitely recommend it to our Queensland friends & family! Highly recommended!!

One of the best travel experiences I've had. I cant say enough wonderful things about Ros and Paul. From first contact, communication was warm and thoughtful and most welcoming. I arrived late, interrupting their dinner with friends but this didn't phase them. Everything was first class and I felt spoilt by such amazing hospitality. Their gorgeous, modern home, uniquely designed is absolutely 5 star. Easily located to beaches, shops and only short distance to the airport. I would thoroughly recommend them for an enjoyable and comfortable stay in Urangan, on the Fraser Coast.

We definitely can recommend a stay at rozz' place! We felt home from the beginning on as every room of the house is super clean and tidy. We have had a beautiful furnished bedroom and a separate bathroom and a separate toilet. We arrived quiet late in the evening even though it was no issue to use the kitchen for cooking our dinner. Rozz even helped us with that. She's just adorable and reminds us of our grandma in Germany. We're thankful for having had a great time.

We came from Thailand and planned to visit Fraser Island for one day trip. We drive the car from Brisbane and the road is easy to drive and also easy to reach to Jill's house which very close to the beach. Her house is well equip and comfort for us. Jill also bring to the bus station(To go to Fraser Island). I really recommend for all of you. Have a fun here. Tuu

Beautiful location overlooking the marina, with plenty of room inside. The unit was clean and tidy, with a surprise welcome of croissants and chocolates. Felicity allowed early check in, which was awesome. I'd highly recommend a stay here!

We had a great stay over the Easter weekend. The apartment was perfect for us and Felicity welcomed us with some great treats like hot cross buns and Easter eggs, it was a pleasant surprise.

dave and lucy are terrific hosts. they are a wealth of knowledge on the area and only too pleased to share it. you can become as involved with the hosts as suits you. the accommodation is adequate, backpacker style but with a double bed. i was very pleased with my stay, especially for the low price.

Unfortunately Dave was out of the house because of his job, but his friend Ian was there to explain and help us with everything, and actually I can't complain about it because he was the best host, even he cooked for us, we are so pleased to met him. About the house is a space with the necessary (furniture), the location is good because is close to the main areas in the town, also the house has quite stile like a backpacker, and we enjoyed being there...

Dave and Lucy were very friendly and they tried to make us comfortable. They were really nice hosts! The house wasn't what we'd expected though and we decided to move on after one night though we booked two nights at Dave's. Everything was messy and it smelled very bad because of rotten paint on the veranda. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and she bedding didn't seemed to be washed recently. If you're looking for a relaxing stay over I wouldn't recommend to stay here!

Louise was a wonderful host and we found her to be very friendly, relaxed and helpful. The apartment was in an amazing location, so close to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc and yet exceptionally peaceful and private. We had everything we needed and particularly enjoyed the pool table, classic board games and cute doggies Benji & Billie. I would highly recommend visiting Louise's place and we would definately stay there again.
