Suitable for couples or Families with young children. You'll love my place. The guest bedroom is HUGE with comfy beds, en-suite with spa bath. The location is quiet and secluded. Wander down to the private jetty and drop in your fishing line or launch a Kayak. Meanwhile the cattle or horses from across the river watch on. From the elevated veranda eating breakfast or sipping wine, enjoy river views with its abundant bird life. A riverside walk begins nearby The town centre is only a 5 min walk.
The Colonial style home is situated in a quiet secluded location, just a stone's throw from the water's edge. In the evening selected areas and trees are illuminated which adds to the garden's charm. You may see one of our local possums or be delighted when birds visit the veranda.
The town of Pinjarra is full of old world charm and history of the pioneer settlers. The home is close to the historic precinct of Edenvale Homestead, Rose Garden, and Museum. Hotham Valley Railway is close by too. Pinjarra Race Course and Trotting complex is located on the entrance to town. For children, Cantwell park is the place to visit with its huge play area. You must check out the swing bridge over the river too There is a modern shopping centre as well as curio shops just begging you to go in and have a browse. Places to eat, there is something to suit everyone's taste. Pinjarra is well located to visit the like of Mandurah, Dwellingup, Waroona and Serpentine Falls all approximately 20 mins away.
  • Very quiet, peaceful spot on the river. Access to the kayaks was a highlight for us, as was the short walk into town. Recommend for a quiet weekend away.

We particularly enjoyed sitting outside and seeing the birdlife from the lovely veranda. I would highly recommend this property

  • We stayed as 3 family's comfortably. We had children of all ages and the house is PERFECT for a family get away. I would suggest anyone travelling with black out blinds to bring multiple as there is many beautiful windows bringing fantastic light in, luckily we came equip with these. If and when we return to Dwellingup we will be hoping this property is available again we had such a beautiful time sitting out on the verandah and just relaxing inside a house that felt like home. :)

  • Really great place for families, perfect for the kids, just like a home away from home!

    Joanne2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • The Marri Cottage was a great place to stay for our short getaway from the city. It will have everything you need (and a little more) for a family with Marta providing small touches to help such as sunblock, small pantry provisions and toys for the kids. Enjoyed our stay in quiet Dwellingup and woke up to be greeted by birds each morning. It was a good escape from the city into a cottage-like lifestyle.

This is a delightfully cosy, self-contained studio style unit. It is within a stone's throw away from the Murray River. This hideaway country cottage just oozes with character both onside and out. You have a private lawned area with an acres of riverside garden to wander around. Across the river, cattle graze, ducks may greet you on the private jetty. In the evening lookout for possums too.
Previous guest have commented how much they have enjoyed this cosy open plan little hideaway, a home from home. It is perfect for couples and able to accommodate extras by using the sofa bed or folder bed if you prefer. Children are catered for with a toy cupboard just waiting for little ones. We have a high chair for your convenience too. Our friendly local ducks are looking forward to saying hello. The unit has an ensuite. Also a fully equipped kitchen and has both washing machine and full size refrigerator. Outside is a patio/bbq with comfy chairs to sit in whilst you sip your glass of wine.
Pinjarra has a wonderful old world charm about it. There is much to discover from its colourful history. Take a riverside walk which starts nearby. There are tiles on the footpath and plaques here and there depicting the past. The riverside walk leads you past St Johns Anglican Church and Pioneer cemetery. The old school nearby now houses a thriving quilters group, with an area displaying works for sale. Next to this is a museum with historical photos. Continuing the walk under the bridge brings you out to picaresque Cantwell Park. This is complemented with swing bridge, adult exercise equipment and a fabulous kiddy play area. On the main street, don't miss having scones at Edenvale Tea Rooms which take you back to a bygone era I could tell you about the wonderful places to eat, have coffee or look at art but you are going to discover something yourself☺
  • Nice place, great host....

The unit is well appointed, comfortable bed and seating, with all the amenities you need for a restful break. Valerie and Mike are very friendly and only too happy to help in any way. Very happy to recommend this as a beautiful place for a get away.

  • Karen where do I start! Your hospitality is better than I could of ever imagined we have stayed in many air bnbs and this has been by far the best I was staying in Boddington for work and wanted to bring my family down for the weekend Karen gave our 2 sons her caravan and they loved it! so my partner and I could have our own privacy she acomadated and loved our dogs so much and the pool and grounds were so nice and clean the room was spotless with so much attention to detail the fridge was full of my favourite beers and drinks tea and coffee snacks everywhere! Lots of fresh fruit brand new soaps body washes bath oils face masks tooth brushes and anything else you could possibly think of there is information booklets in the room of local areas and tourist attractions and Karen will recommend some awesome places to check out near by as she is very knowledgeable of the area but by far the best thing I have ever experienced is Karen's cooking and baking making muffins and short bread cooking us all the most amazing breakfasts and dinners I have ever tasted Karen is very kind and loving and welcomes you into her home but also gives you space and privacy she loved our kids and dogs as her own and between them all they had the time of their lives thank you and we will be back again and again during my time in Boddington thank you so much can't wait to be back

  • We had an amazing time at Karen's beautiful home. We felt very comfortable, safe, and it was very clean. We loved our stay! The location was great, too. We just loved every minute of our visit and would love to visit again in the future. Thank you for everything!

  • Karen’s house and her outstandingly friendly hospitality make this an ideal place to stay. We chose the location for its proximity to the Barna Mia nocturnal animal tour (which is amazing) and is about an hour’s drive into the Dryandra Woodland. Karen is extremely generous in her amenities and the large private en-suite room is spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you need - bath tub, shower, kettle, fridge, a/c, snacks, drinks, tv, Wi-fi, towels, soap, etc. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked fresh and all dietary needs were catered for. This really is Airbnb at its best.

    William2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Karen is the perfect host who goes out of her way to make your stay so special. We enjoyed the really silent night in her guest suite as well as her excellent breakfast!! Very lovely location, highly recommended!!!

    Ralf2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karen’s lovely B&B. Karen is a warm, friendly and attentive host. Everything is not only as described in the ad but even better! The space itself is perfect; clean (spotless), comfortable, roomy, well-appointed, nice ambience - absolutely nothing to fault. And breakfast was delicious! Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality, Karen.

Put your walking shoes on and hike up County Peak to enjoy the panoramic views of the region. Beverley is noted for its interest architecture, with examples ranging from the colonial period of the late 1800s to the futuristic geodesic dome.
  • We stayed here for a long weekend. This cottage was terrific and was a way better quality than I was expecting. It was super comfortable, furnished nicely and had lots of information on what to do both on the farm and in the Avon Valley. It has air conditioning but it was not needed for us as the fans did a great job. The farm is a great place for families as there is a playground and 2x donkeys and 2x horses nearby that are friendly. The caretakers of the farm were also very friendly and introduced themselves with their cute little dogs. We would happily stay here again!

This historic hotel has been serving the Wheat belt for 112 years. Once the entertainment space of Lord and Lady Forrest. The upstairs is fully contained with a kitchen, fridge, small appliances where a continental breakfast is supplied. A large lounging area with seating for 12 leads onto the wrap around balcony. The hotel is excellent for conferencing, family reunions, short and long term accommodation. Downstairs there are more areas with a pool table and juke box for entertainment.
Downstairs there is a commercial kitchen and heritage dining room available as a self catering option or we can provide the catering, hot breakfast, evening meal, crib lunches.
Pingelly 160kms southeast of Perth has one of the finest wildflower reserve lands "Tuttanning" in the world. Boyagin Rock is another interesting tourist destination.
  • Very nice old historic house, very kind and humorous landlord, very beautiful and quiet town, very good place to stay again!

    ynkm2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Classic Western Australian pub, just 160 kilometres from Perth through picturesque sheep and crop country to get here. A warm greeting from Jeanette and Ian await you, and then you get the chance to soak up the atmosphere of this grand old hotel that was built in 1906. All the accommodation rooms are upstairs, some with a view out over the big veranda, and the others with a view out over the historic Pingelly rooftops. The veranda is a great spot to watch the sunrise, and amazing to see the full moon rise as well if you time your visit right. Theres a fully equiped kitchen upstairs as well, with fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities to accompany the self serve continental breakfast. Home cooked meals here are pretty special too, thanks to Jeanette's kitchen skills, she's a great cook, then afterwards, the bar area is a pretty good place to plant yourself for a few hours and admire the historic surroundings and have a chat with Jeanette's husband Ian, who can point you in the right direction of all things Pingelly and surrounds. The Exchange Hotel is also close to Tutanning Nature Reserve, Dryandra Woodland and Boyagin Rock, all within easy reach of Pingelly, so spend the day looking at Western Australian native flora and fauna and spend the afternoon and evening in a grand old classic heritage hotel, and then do some star gazing from the veranda to end the night, it's a pretty amazing sky here, with no light pollution to spoil the view.

    Neil2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Pingelly is on route 120 which you can take as a longer alternative from Perth to Albany. I was birdwatching in Dryandra woodland and wanted to stay somewhere that felt like Australia of old. The tavern is an amazing building which made me hear the noises and hubbub which must have filled its rooms when first built in 1907. Perth didn't feel like Australia, but Pingelly certainly did. Jeanette's meals were enormous and friendly Ian on the bar looked straight out of the outback and is full of enough stories to fill an evening. This is not glamorous glitzy accommodation and has one shower and toilet for a lot of rooms. But it really is worth dropping in if you're in the area.

    Neil2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • I had booked Jeanette's place last minute to accommodate my team. The host was very hospitable with my request even though I wasn't staying at the property myself. My colleagues enjoyed their stay here, everything was above satisfaction! I've received a lot of pleasant comments from my guys in regards to her property.

    Mario2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful historical pub with amazing character. The welcome by Jeanette and Ian is very friendly and there are lots of stories to share if you want to sit at the bar when you arrive. The food was wonderful and even though I arrived late, Jeanette was still willing to cook me something. If you want something with character you can't beat this place. I was able to help myself to breakfast in the morning with a variety of cereals, jams, honeys, bread, tea and coffee, etc. which was always available. I would stay at this place again.

$100 per person per night. 3 minutes to the shops and town center. Far enough away to be private. Character cottage was the family home, very well maintained. Discounts available for families/children. Please contact the owner to discuss.
Open kitchen and dining, wood burner or reverse cycle for heating/cooling. Very private, no pets. Professional couples preferred who wish for some tranquil quiet time. Families are also welcome! Full kitchen, fridge and pantry provided. Full shower and bathroom with separate toilet. All linen, and towels provided. Extra blankets are also available if needed. Both bedrooms have a heater to warm those chilly Dwellingup nights. The wood fire is very functional and all wood will be provided from the wood pile next to the driveway.
Azalea court borders Marginata Reserve so the neighbours are few. The ones we have are friendly but private, and like to keep things quiet. It is a beautiful part of the world with many interesting things to do like bushwalks, fruit picking, visiting Nanga and enjoying the outdoors. You will need to code to open the key safe. This is located by the SIDE DOOR. Please note the front door and back door cannot be opened with a key from the outside. Contact the owner for the 4 digit code to obtain the key.
  • Well appointed cabin in a wonderful location!

  • Lovely space, surrounded by an adorable little patch of bushland - so many wildflowers. Walking distance to the town centre and Blue Wren cafe which has delightful cakes and good coffee. The property is very sweet and is completely fitted with enough modern convenience to make your stay a very comfortable one! Excellent spice and herb collection in the pantry and I was very happy to find colloidal silver in there and that I was able to help myself to it! Thank you! I would gladly recommend Ben’s property to any of my Melbourne based friends and family looking to visit WA and stay somewhere close enough to the Perth city centre yet far away enough to make a day trip to Margaret River or head further inland and explore the Wheatbelt region. Thanks!

    Charlie2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Contact with the host was very easy.  Houses were perfectly clean, bed linen and towels were clean in both the Homestead and the Retreat. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were large. All electrical equipment in good order. Well stocked kitchens and all equipment was clean and functional. Thirteen people across three generations loved being there because the living rooms were large enough for us all to be within sight but not having to be on top of each other. It was lovely to be in the country but we did not have to drive for hours to get there. The blue wrens were a great hit.  Plenty of DVDs for  the children to watch and the bookshelves had a broad variety of books. We would love to go back one day

This property is set on a 100-acre bushland on the North Dandalup scarp. It's truly 'glamping' in an Aussie shed in the bush. The views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst tall jarrah is something to look forward to. You have alpacas and sheep for company. During this time of social distancing, we are accepting only families living in the same household from Perth/Peel region only. We hope it can be a place of peace and refuge for families during this time.
The shed has 2 large bedrooms. There's a double bed on the ground floor or configured to 2 singles. Room 2 upstairs has a tatami style sleeping arrangements. Can sleep a couple or 2 singles. There is a large sitting/dining/games area for common activities for groups or families. There's table tennis, pool table, board games and book shelves with books for reading.
North Dandalup is part of the Peel Region, meaning we have the hills and bushland on the Darling Scarp going east; and the oceans and estuaries with water activities going westward. We are along the route of the unique Bibbulmun Track, a 1000-km long distance walk trails. We are near the Munda Biddi Trail; a world-class, nature-based, off-road cycling track which had been built through an undeveloped natural corridor from Mundaring to Albany. Dwellingup is about 20 km away, and it offers various activities and adventures such as canoeing, white water rafting, trees adventure and ropes experience. Travel back in time with Hotham Valley Railway on a steam power engine, or dine in style on the Etmilyn Diner Restaurant Train travelling through the Darling Ranges. Along the coast of the Indian Ocean is the city of Mandurah, famous for its beautiful waterways and relaxed holiday atmosphere. The ocean and estuary provide endless activities such as fishing, swimming, crabbing, kayaking, surfing, waterskiing, jet skiing and jetboarding. You may also enjoy the Mandurah boat cruises on the estuary, looking for dolphins. Mandurah is only half an hour away from us.

  • Stayed here with a group of 8 friends. Plenty of things to do to keep everyone amused from Llamas to giant jenga. It’s in the bush, so be prepared for a few spiders and take some bug spray for the march flies. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Bea S B’s place.

  • Bea’s place was a perfect nature escape with children. There was something for everyone, children and adults alike. Giant Jenga, pool table, ping pong table, DVD/TV chill area, outdoor swing set and amazing high swings off the natural nature trees. The highlight for our children was feeding the alpachas and rams whilst the parents enjoyed the fabulous view over the valleys and hills. Definitely fabulous memories created which was our aim for our 2 young families combined originating from Turkey, Jamaica, Brazil and England.

  • A truly charming and comfortable cottage with lots of really nice touches, including a high chair, toys and even bikes for our young girls. Easy walking distance to cafes, dinner options and playground. A great 3 bedroom option in the heart of Narrogin.

Restful one-bedroom self-contained retreat amidst tall Jarrah trees. Has sitting area, bathtub, and small kitchenette. Also features a unique loft room that could fit 2 children sleeping on futon beds. For really young children, they can use the sofa bed or floor mattress.
The retreat is ideal for a couple seeking some 'quiet' time away; or a small family with young children who would enjoy a simple farm-stay in the woods. You can wake up to a view of tall jarrah and gum trees outside your window. You can take a walk in the property to enjoy the forest therapy. We have a few alpacas and 2 sheep.

  • Bea and Raphael are great hosts, kindest human beings with the biggest heart. Communication and instructions on direction, location and check in were clear and succinct. They made us feel very comfortable during our stay, as if we were their close family friends visiting for few nights. The place is ideal for winter, for bush walks, campfire with family and friends. We shall return one day since it's not very far from Perth CBD. Once again, thank you so much!!

    Hong2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our weekend retreat at Bea s place which is a converted studio shed next to the hosts home. Waking up in the morning to the forest view, kookaburras calling and glimpses of kangaroos in the distance was great! The studio had a small kitchenette with everything we needed for basic cooking and a separate ensuite bathroom which was furnished to a high standard. The property has great views of the valley near the hosts home and Our one year old enjoyed looking at the hosts sheep and pet alpacas. Bea and Raphael were also very friendly and accommodation hosts. Being close to livestock and as we traveled during November there were plenty of flies, which we expected but our stay exceeded our expectations. Richard

  • A wonderful spot for a peaceful time out. I have now stayed here in winter and summer. Heating and airconditioning - fantastic with ceiling fans in every room - big bedrooms and high ceilings. The kitchen is beautifully stocked. I love to cook when I go away so this is important to me. Very comfy beds - I had 2 friends stay this visit and they slept really well. Everything spotless. Excellent pressure in the shower and fantastically hot water. Being able to bring my 2 dogs seals the deal for me. Along with the birds in the birdbath - including a blue wren! Plus of course the essential front porch for sitting, dreaming, talking and cuppas!! Thanks😊🐶🐶.

We loved Lane Pool National Park and went there to swim twice a day. The kids loved Tree Adventures Park. Vergone fruit place with raspberry picking and yummy fruits was a lovely bonus.

  • It was truly a home away from home, the location is great, easily accessible! The amenities, including linen and kitchen facilities were really considerate. Loved the vintage decorations and old school games, including foosball table in the outdoor area! We made the most in the home as it was Christmas time and everything was closed. The beds were comfy and linen was fresh. It was dust free even in the window sill and nook and crannies. My family of 7 managed to use the one bath/toilet quite well. They had a lovely garden area and we felt really safe too. We used every bit of the house and backyard, including the lovely outdoor area and the gas bbq. Angela was super lovely to respond to my messages even on Christmas Day! Overall, it was absolutely worth the price and a truly lovely home! Thank you Angela and Duncan, would love to visit again sometime in the near future.

  • This place is amazing. We stayed here to break up our journey to Margaret River. The house is just fantastic, with everything you would need and more. The views are spectacular overlooking the surrounding land and on towards the coast. The sunset photo does not do the real thing justice. We had 6 people in our group and there was ample space for all. The outside terrace and grass area was perfect for causal dining and playing the odd game or two. Bathrooms and kitchen facilities are first class, lovely double shower and excellent utensils await those that come to this spectacular property. The beds are also worth mentioning - super comfy. We would recommend this property to anyone that loves great views and quirky properties. We will be back, thanks for being a great host Lucy!

Welcome to our new ‘Little Creek Yurt’, on a raised jarrah flooring connected to a sitting deck overlooking a rare creek line of large, old growth native tree ferns. A beautiful shady cool spot in the summer months. Listen to the creek (seasonal) tinkle in the background. Meditate amongst the stillness. Truly feel at one with the simple bush setting, large granite rocks, and extensive shade trees overhead. Peace.
This beautiful 4m Tasmanian Oak Yurt has a comfortable double futon bed, solar powered ambient lighting, the cutest little pot belly stove to keep the space warm and cozy, and clear roof flap window ideal for star gazing and moon watching. Access to the Yurt is by foot down a steep creek path, your car is left parked 50m away. Please note, the main shared amenities, toilets etc, are a 200m / 2 min walk up the hill by the ‘Big Sky Yurt’. There you will find a shared outdoor camping style bathroom (bush shower), toilets, and a simple camp kitchen with a small fridge, gas stove, sink etc and teas and coffee. Breakfast and dinner can be provided on request, delivered to your yurt, often with home grown organic seasonal produce, vegetarian, vegan and other options or requests available or you are also welcome to do your own cooking of course. Bring a torch and any other useful camping items you might want to make yourself comfortable, please also just let us know if there is anything we can supply or help you with. Thanks for looking and maybe booking and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us. Also PLEASE NOTE ... once you have made a booking please read through the house manual for further details including a map with walking trails and points of interest nearby, and please address all communication here to ‘Phil and Sarah’ who do such a wonderful job of looking after all the yurts and guests on the property. I hope you have a really great stay if you decide to come and maybe I will see you here, thanks and best wishes for now, Alan.
Nearby is the historic timber mill town of Jarrahdale where there is a general store/post office, cafe, tavern and a very cool 'tea' shop amongst other things. As far as supermarkets go there is an IGA in Mundijong which is the closest and Coles etc in Byford or Armadale.
  • Such a lovely little find. This is a wonderful escape pod in a lush setting. Phil was a great host. And his meals were delicious. I’d stay again at the drop of a hat.

    Will2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures really don’t do it justice you need to be there and see it in person so you can take it all in

    Warren2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this option as a relaxing, carefree, low key and peaceful time away. My daughter and I stayed at Little Creek Yurt for some mother/daughter time. As soon as we arrived we could feel the crazy work-week / school-week worries melting away. There was just us, the bush, the crickets and birds and a warm, welcoming and spacious place of rest. Lots of thoughtful touches and helpful communication from the host. Do yourself a favour and opt-in for Phil’s cooking! You will NOT be disappointed. After three restful days and nights, walking, talking, sleeping, taking, painting, talking, playing games, reading and no tech and more talking ... we return to “real life” one hundred times better than I expected. Clean and simple toilet, shower and amenities remind us of the lack of complexity we need in our normal life and add to the relaxation. Don’t scroll past this opportunity for a unique and relaxing experience.

    Simone2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Alan / Phil for letting us stay at your wonderful yurt bustled in lovely bush & such a lovely gesture from both the host at the property. Would definitely keep coming back to stay at your amazing yurt surrounded by such a lovely Jarrahdale state forest. • I took my mum away for a couple of nights so she could recharge after a hectic few weeks. Sandi’s place was the most perfect little house to do it in. It was absolutely the cleanest place I’ve been in, without it feeling sterile. It has lots of wood touches in the house and it feels so homey. So serene, with comfortable beds and relaxing surroundings. We even had a visit from the local kangaroos! There is everything there you need to enjoy your stay. Just fabulous! Will 100% be returning.

  • Sandi's place was fabulous.. eveything we needed was right there, it was very spacious for the 4 of us that stayed and spotlessly clean. With lovely bushland surrounds and beautiful sunsets from the porch it's a great spot to unwind and relax.

  • My friend and I stayed for a weekend and had a wonderful time - the beds are super comfy and the place has a great kitchen; it’s a really nice and cosy little getaway. The house is also close to both Pinjarra and Dwellingup; both towns have grocery stores and pubs/cafes.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Sandi’s place is sparkling clean and beautiful inside and out. It is spacious and well-equipped and we enjoyed the sunsets and early mornings on the verandah. Sandi is a very friendly host and we highly recommend her place.

  • A beautiful locations - so lovey waking up to a misty morning in the forest. Lots of fun things to do in Pinjarra with a young family - Apple picking& tractor ride at carraholly orchard, exploring the forest discovery centre, and the new park/ scooter pump track in town and the tree top adventure zip lining. Lots of room in the farm house and well equipped, great hot water. The cubby and swings were a big hit with our boys. We enjoyed the fireplace too 😊😊 Alan was great to deal with, very quick and resolved our queries 😊
