Kampung Watu Blencong were located in Menoreh Hills, near many spectacular tourism spots in Kulon Progo. The weather is cold, and you could stargazing at night, the sky looks so clear from here. We have many houses. Each houses were rented for cheap prices and private. It's so green here, with lots of vegetation and birds. And we have a dog and a puppy :)

While I have never been to the famed "South of France", whatever that means, I felt like I had experienced it at the rustic Sunset Villa in Kasongan Village. Riris is a great host, offering just enough help without coming across as a nanny. The locals around the area (Kasongan Village) were also very friendly and accommodating, despite my very limited command of Bahasa Indonesia. Convenience stores abound in the area and the location is perfect for any urbanite looking for an escape from the metropolis. The remote location was not a problem as a driver is always on hand to ferry one to and from the place, provided one returns before midnight. I would like to thank Riris and Sebastian for a great 12 days at the Villa. I feel like I had a taste of life in a part of Indonesia I would never have imagined living in, and I learnt a lot. The sunset is amazing - a treat I enjoyed every day I was there, and with the promise by the landlord to cut down the trees in front of the villa, I am certain it will be even more spectacular. On top of all that, the pool is great - I spent many an afternoon simply lounging to music, the sounds of crickets, toke geckos (unique gecko found in South East Asia except in Singapore), and Javanese gamelan in that pool along with my friends. All in all, well-furnished and well-kept with excellent service and maintenance to boot. Nothing to complain about - only good memories to savour for life. I wish Riris and Co all the best. Hope to see you again my friends. Selamat dan terima kasih!
Dear Riris, We had such an amazing time at the villa. Everything was well thought out - from the bread and toothbrushes. Jogjakarta is a wonderful place, and Villa Sunset is definitely its beauty spot. All our loves, R & M
To be honest, I choose this villa because I fell in love with it on the first sight. It was the time when I saw the movie of AADC2. But it was not all about the movie. I needed an accomoodation for my family that include my mother. So this villa which has two rooms was perfect. We loved our private pool, the kitchen (how I wish to have this kind of kitchen at home!) and our rooms. The view from the villa was amazing especially during sunset. I met the host on arrival, and she is a very warm and nice person. Mba Riris prepared coco crunch for our Kiddos, fruits, yoghurt and even egg in the fridge. Too bad we only stay one night, but we are sure to be back very soon.
Great villa, great host, definitely the best place to stay for honeymooners (or for a group of friends)
it was a great experience staying in this Villa...Riris, the host is very helpful and responsive...
Riris is very nice! She helped us a lot, I love villa sunset, everything is wonderful!
Villa Sunset is a fantastic place to stay. Riris was waiting for us to give us a warm welcome even though we arrived in the middle of the night. She had prepared a baby cot and a kitchen filled with yoghurt, bread, eggs and fruit. Riris had to go abroad but her friend Arief took over. He was a just as warm personality as Riris. Everday fresh food was brought - it was really good and too much for us to finish. All questions and trip requests were taken care of really well. The houses look even nicer in real than in the pictures and the pool is lovely. And when we left, we even received a present! We would definitely recommend this place to people that like to have a more quiet and relaxed place in Yogyakarta.
