Had a fantastic stay with Liz and Max! Both extremely helpful and friendly. The room was perfect with plenty of wardrobe space and even an iron and ironing board! (Life saver!) Liz gave me a lift to my interview in the morning which was extremely helpful! Thanks Liz and Max for a pleasant stay, I passed the interview so I might be back soon for the next stage!

Steve is a very friendly host, sociable and helpful with anything you need. He even got me a new frying pan. His dog is very friendly and mild tempered. The house was nicely equipped, with a big kitchen. The room was incredible value - and the Sunday movie nights were a great bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Great host - Steve was very friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all during the two weeks I was there. Bed is comfy! The house is close to the train station, but not so great for other forms of public transport. Food shops & restaurants are walking distance so thats always handy!

I had a very pleasant stay in this place, it's clean and smell good, i slept very well in this room. I was feeling like at home, and the place it's perfect to visit the area with the train, it's easy and the train station is at 10 min by foot. There are a lots of restaurants around Steve's home and 2 supermarkets, it's perfect when you don't have a car. It was a very good experience because of the kindness of Steve.

Steve has been the best Airbnb host I ever had. He has taught me lots of things (I am from abroad, fist time in England). He introduce me to his friends, invite me to dog waks and he has been always very kind. Oska, his dog, is very calm and quiet. In home, I had never heard a noise from him. His house has near bus stops and a train station. It is in a lovely neighborhood, near one big forest (very interesting for walks) and it has shops nearby. In conclusion, it has been a great experience and I highly recomend Steve to the Airbnb community!

Lovely room and super comfy bed. Two minute walk to all the shops/restaurants etc you need and 5 mins to Solent Business Park. James was great and so helpful/informative and picked me up from the train station which was very helpful. Very much recommend!

Amazing house and a brilliant guest. The bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious. Alan is a very helpful and welcoming host, who was also kind enough to help me with transport. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Swanwick area.

Even though Alan's place is my regular B&B, I still find little things to delight in. It could be sitting in the conservatory at breakfast for a welcome chin wag and a cracking cuppa to set me up for the day, or a cheeky piece of fruit/drink to grab on my way out of the dedicated guest door on a morning. I'll be back again... because I've already booked in!

Stayed again at – what will be – my regular bolt hole for monthly visits to our Fareham office. A very short walk from the station and not much further to a few decent local pubs. Alan is a great guy and very welcoming. Looking forward to staying again!

Alan is such a welcoming, and interesting host. I continue to stay on a monthly basis because of the proximity to the office park and local amenities. Being on a working trip means that I really value the desk and workspace that are afforded, not to mention the direct external access for returning home after burning the candle at both ends, and ample off street parking.

Very comfortable accommodation where you feel home away from home. Thank you, Alan, for your warm hospitality, you have wonderful home. The location is perfect for business parks in Whitelye/Segensworth areas. And if you wish to work after your busy day, the office at home is fully equipped even with a printer. Home made breakfast is awaiting you at the time you specify, and there is a hamper pack on your arrival. Thank you for your genuine friendliness and a wonderful stay at April Rise. I really enjoyed my stay with Ann and John. They were perfect hosts, very warm and welcoming. The room was perfect for my needs, very comfortable and quiet. I really appreciated having a kettle with a selection of teas and coffee in the room and access to the utility with microwave was very handy. If I ever need to stay in this area again, I would definitely stay here!

Ann and John were great hosts and made sure I had everything I needed, they set out where everything was and were on hand if I needed any help with anything.

A lovely stay in a warm and welcoming home. Spacious and well equipped room with a shower room just over the hallway. Lovely to use the lounge (with log burner on!) and microwave etc for dinners. Ann and John are lovely hosts and I hope to return again in the future.

Patricia made me feel very welcome right from the start. I was studying for an exam so her place was perfect for that. The room was big with lots of sunlight and a very comfortable bed and the house was spotless. It was very handy to be just around the corner from a big supermarket too. There are regular buses to Warsash college from nearby but I walked and didn't find it too far at all. I would definitely stay here again!

Patricia provided a homely experience through airbnb. A welcomed and relaxed atmosphere throughout the week, with an unexpected dinner on arrival and a freshly baked cake for tea another day. The room was clean, modern, and well equipped. A help yourself breakfast was included (this was a surprise) which made life easier and I enjoyed access to tea and coffee. I'm sure I will return when I take another course at Warsash Maritime Academy in the future.

Before arriving to Pat's house, I was really well informed on how to get there.. and upon arrival, warmly greeted by her whole family who were over for a Sunday roast. Immediately made to feel comfortable. While staying - Pat and I had some great chats; morning coffees, and we celebrated a new job with a bunch of friends down at the local Chinese restaurant! The bedroom I stayed in was very spacious and modern, I had a desk which was very important for studying.. and this was all obviously well thought out when Pat got her house renovated. Natural light through the windows and a really comfy bed! A lovely house in general which I wouldn't and didn't hesitate suggesting for friends to stay.. I'll be back when I'm ready to do more courses! Thanks Pat!!

Patricia was absolutely lovely! So welcoming and kind, made me feel very relaxed from the get go. Patricia even kindly picked me up from the train station and dropped me to my course on the first day so that I knew where I was going - what a legend! House is clean and comfortable, easy location to get to the Maritime academy - simple bus route. Walking distance to shops, Waitrose etc. Great value and ticked all the boxes for me. I would definitely want to stay there again if I have another course at the academy.

Upon arrival I was greeted by not just Patricia, but her whole family who were over for a Sunday roast. A very homely vibe and was made to feel very comfortable. Patricia's house is close by to the shops and a short walk to the bus stop to the Maritime college. Kept wonderfully clean and maintained. Bedrooms are spacious and have desks, with plenty of natural light and fresh linen, also a very comfy bed! Will not hesistate to stay here again ( if i can fit in ) !! Thanks Pat!

Amazing hosts and amazing home! Brindle Farm is a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of the city, all awhile being very conveniently placed for public transportation. I had the best experience here, and it was a combination of my wonderful chalet, which is just finished and refurbished, the animals and nature surrounding the farm, and last - but certainly not least - Alex and John-Paul. They have been the most gracious hosts, and are exactly the kind of people, who should own a bnb like this. It's a perfect arrangement, as you can be as private or as social as you want, and they give you all the space you could need. The chalet is private,fully equipped with everything you might need, was super clean, and has a beautiful view. I would recommend anyone to stay here, and I am definitely coming back, even if I have no other business in the area. Thanks Alex and JP, you made me feel at home! Amalie

Had a great working week stay at John-Paul's. A lovely clean, warm and private room with a big comfortable bed and all in a quiet country location whilst still a short commute to where work was. I will definately look to stay again when the need arises. Hospitality was great too...

Brindle Farm is a tranquil setting run by a lovely couple who are very interesting people as well as great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome indeed. Our room was to the highest standard. I would have no hesitation recommending them.

Kathryn was a very nice hostess who was very poilite and respectful to me despite the numerous questions I asked her. The property is modern, light and airy, the bed wonderful and with a major supermarket at the bottom of the road, everything on hand you could want. Kathryn provided me with access to the room, kitchen and bathroom including tea and coffee.

Great place. We travel a lot in the UK and this place is in my Top 3. Sue and Tony made us feel like home. And our dog Eddie had a great time playing with their 2 dogs. It is in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The room is awesome. Very clean.In Germany we have a saying:it is so clean you could eat of the floor. And the room is very nicely decorated. Breakfast was great as well. We really loved our stay!

Great place to stay and good location for NATS centre in Whiteley. I would definitely recommend this to people as Tony and Sue were really welcoming and brilliant hosts along with the two most well behaved dogs I have come across. These hosts really couldn't do enough for you.

The Holly Howe, Wow.... upon arrival I was greeted by Tony and Sue and immediately felt at ease and welcomed. Having been shown around and to the room I was more than pleasantly surprised by the room, extremely airy, bright and clean. The ensuite shower -warm and powerful and bed was very comfortable. would I stay again absolutely, am I staying again yes!

Great little cottage! We were visiting relatives nearby and had flown in from Perth, Australia on our check in day . . The hosts were really kind to let us have access to the property a few hours early to enable us to have a snooze after our long travel. Lovely quiet location, comfortable beds, functional kitchen & bathroom. We may well stay again on future UK trips.

Myself, husband and 'grown up' family stayed at the Barn for a week-end and loved it. It was the ideal space for us all to be together. The fact there was no t.v. or Wi-Fi made sure we had good conversation and played some hilarious board/card games.

6 of us stayed at the old barn for a wedding close by. The biding is beautiful and the 2 main rooms were amazing. There is no TV and no Wi-Fi so we did have to go back to basics but there's plenty of books and board games to keep you occupied. We had such a great time in the barn would definitely return!

The cottage was perfect, such a relaxing place to stay after long days travelling and working, it couldn't have been any better. Tracy was really helpful throughout my stay and all the little things they have thought of such as leaving food for breakfast, wood for the fire and the wine rack just make it even more special. On top of all that there's a hot tub and the location is perfect! I will definitely be back again soon.

A beautifully furnished little cottage with bags of charm. Very well kitted out with all the essentials and some nice touches including a great collection of DVDs, a wifi speaker and even a fully stocked wine rack with an honesty pot! Highlights for us included the comfy bed, very powerful shower, the hot tub, the lovely walk along the river to Warsash and all the nice places to eat in walking distance from the door. As it was built in the 1800s there are a few features just to be aware of. Firstly, anyone over 6 foot - beware! The ceilings and door frames are very low in the sitting room and dining room. Secondly, the staircase is very narrow and (URL HIDDEN) a little precarious for some. A bit tricky to negotiate with a sleeping 3 month old for example. All in all, highly recommended!

A great little cottage, right on the water front! The hot tub in the back garden is awesome!Lots of nice pubs within walking distance. West Wittering beach is a 40 minute drive away, the New Forest (cycling, walking) is also about 30-40 minutes away. Portsmouth and Southampton both reachable by train for shopping. Tracy was very helpful, and replied quickly to queries during our stay.

Stayed in a few air b&b's now & found Bay Tree cottage to be one of our favourites , Super Cute, Luxurious & exceptionally well thought out living space & well located for Marwell Zoo , Pepper Pig World & the beautiful New Forest . The Kids loved the Hot tub in the garden , my partner loved being on the water front & i loved the fact there was a pub with in 5 minutes of walking. Tracy our host pulled out all the stops & made us feel very welcome indeed , great communication & even left the kids some glow sticks for bonfire night . Highly Recommended *****

Brilliant

We were very happy with our stay at the cottage in Hamble, it's a lovely place and very well maintained. Two things to watch out for - your head if you are tall, the doorways are very low and the neighbour who may insist that you move your car, there is public parking a bit further on.
