The condo was perfect for our little weekend getaway! Sean was very easy to communicate with. The condo was very easy to find and the location was great, it only took us a few minutes to get into town. Great value! Would stay there again!

The location was exactly where we wanted to be. There was lots of coffee making supplies which made me feel welcome. There are lots of towels and pillows. Sean is very good at communicating and made my first AirBNB experience a positive one. The living room will accommodate 4-5 people pretty easily. There is a DVD player along with nice laminated sheets with the cable channel listing. The pictures are accurate, but somehow the actual condo is much nicer when you are inside than when you are looking at the pictures. I highly recommend staying here.

We found everything as described. The decorations were simply amazing. What more can be said, it was quiet, exceptionally clean and neat, close to Traverse City and was perfect for our needs. It also had a lot of little extras that made the condo quite comfortable. When we are in the area again this will be our go-to place. I highly recommend Sean's condo.

Our trip was absolutely wonderful! The place is very clean and well-organized. We didn't have much of a chance to go in the lake, but it was pretty and secluded! We didn't have any problems coordinating arrival or departure and instructions for cleaning up the house/leaving were perfect!

The apartment was sweet and super-clean. Bed wonderful. Hot tub magnificent (especially after a mountain bike race). Beautiful lakeside location. Little welcoming gestures like bananas, granola bars... even a bottle of wine. All around lovely stay.

The place was wonderful! Super clean and comfortable and self contained. Perfect location- beautiful site! There is a nice outdoor hot tub, fire pit, dock, hammock and boats to use. Diane was wonderful- took great care to make sure we were comfortable. The instructions were well described and this whole experience was easy, pleasant and very enjoyable. There are nice places to walk around the lake, and you are about a 25 min drive from Traverse city. I would totally recommend this to anyone - thank you Diane !

Not only was our host welcoming and thorough, but our private apartment was way nicer than we expected!! Giant shower with nice water pressure, towels, hot tub, awesome bed with fluffy comforter, and firepit on the private beach! Even a hammock and all of the utensils and a little griddle to make breakfast! There were tons of pamphlets that we utilized to guide us around town to. A+!

Writing on behalf of Moreen, our stay with Diane was extremely out of the ordinary! Moreen was in a car accident four hours into her vacation, and so I, her son, stayed at the lake apartment while caring for my parents. Diane and her husband not only supported my family in this difficult time, they came to visit at the hospital until other family members were able to travel to Traverse City. I cannot overstate Diane and Jeff's kindness as hosts in remarkable circumstances. Coming back to the lake after a hard day made the entire situation easy to handle!

This was our first time using airbnb, so we were unsure what to expect (especially with owners on site). However, this was a quaint apartment with very comfortable amenities and some personal touches of home. The owners, Diane and Jeff, peeked out only one time to say a quick hello and checked in by email to make sure we had everthing we needed. There were instructions for everything, so we were well informed of where everything was located and how everything worked. The bedding was very comfotable, and we didnt find the we were missing anything at all. The dock, sandy beach area, fire pit, and especially the hot tub were only raised to a more romantic level by the private awesome scenery. We named a duck couple the was present the whole time Ken and Nancy...after a lovely older couple we met earlier on our wine tasting adventures. We recommend the treasure hunting story telling at Mari Vineyards, the artichoke dip at the French Valley Vineyard, the prime rib and rack of lamb at the Old Mission Tavern, and make sure to walk up to #9/#10 at the Sleeping Bear Dunes on the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive. This apartment was the perfect beginning and end to each of our adventures. We hope to return someday when it is warmer so we can use the pontoon boat as well:) Enjoy Life! Pam and Dave.

Great Location - Great Vacation! We spent four great days in beautiful, quaint Elk Rapids in late July. The location of the apartment was perfect for us. Coffee shop, restaurants, ice cream shop and a wine bar all within a block. Not to mention the two beautiful beaches only a short walk away. The apartment provided ample space for our family of five and all the amenities we needed. Deborah was very nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a relaxing beach getaway with small town charm/ appeal, I would highly recommend this location.

My parents, brothers, sisters-in-law, husband, niece and I wanted to have a nice, relaxing long weekend together as a family and we are so glad we found this beautiful home in Elk Rapids. The house was perfectly situated, as it was literally across the street from the well-kept beach, park, and a 5 minute walk to the charming downtown area, which felt like it was created straight from a Norman Rockwell painting. It also helped that there was a fair, fireworks, and a parade going on the weekend that we were there. We were just a 30 min drive to Traverse City, which is a fun area to explore with tons of microbreweries and restaurants with local farm-to-table concepts. People here were incredibly friendly, including Matt, who checked in on the family while we were there, offering items for the baby and providing paddleboards for the water. Great location and beautiful home - can't wait to go back and start making this an annual tradition!

Onlee is friendly. We loved staying at her comfortable upstairs apartment while we visited Traverse City for the film festival. The grounds are very pretty. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and within biking distance of town. Onlee and Lee were Up North when we first arrived. They welcomed us with a note and bottle of wine. We would definitely stay there again.

My boyfriend and I had a great time staying at Marco's apartment. The place is very well kept and stocked with all of the essentials. We used the grill and kitchen to cook up delicious meals with vegetables picked right from the garden. There is also a good grocery store about five minutes away where we picked up anything else that we needed. The apartment allows for privacy even though Marco and his wife do live on the same property. The property itself is gorgeous and they take great care of it. You could easily spend an afternoon just walking around and admiring its beauty. Marco and his wife were wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. Marco greeted us with a warm welcome when we arrived and gave us a thorough walk-through of all the local attractions which we really appreciated. It helped us to create a full and fun itinerary. One thing my boyfriend and I really loved was how close the apartment was to the city, while still being in the peaceful countryside. The downtown area and beach were only a ten to fifteen minute drive away. Again, Marco and his wife were just so great and thanks to them my boyfriend and I ended up having an unforgettable experience in Traverse City. Thank you Marco!

Wow! What an amazing stay! Marco and Joni's property is totally precious; peaceful, picturesque and completely quaint! Upon arrival we were charmed by Marco's welcoming attitude and the cleanliness and charm of the property--it was even better than what was visible online! A perfect getaway in Traverse City, the location is not too far from town but just remote enough to be completely quiet and a total dream! We enjoyed the veggie garden, adorable goats and lovely barn, as well as the cute shabby chic decor. The apartment has everything you'll need for your stay, and we were more than comfortable there. It's an amazing getaway and an accommodation that you'll feel very tempted to keep a secret! ;)

Marco and Joni were great hosts who made us feel very much at home by offering fresh vegetables from their garden, freedom to roam the back acreage of their property, and pick fresh pears. The apartment was was furnished as shown and the kitchen was well equipped. We went for many starlit night walks in the neiborhood. The grounds of their property are beautiful and we especially enjoyed the fire Marco built in the fire pit one night. We enjoyed hanging out with the goats. We enjoyed being close to Traverse City, yet in a quiet neighborhood.

Our stay at The Loft was terrific! From the minute we arrived, Christine made sure that everything we could need was taken care of. The Loft is exactly as it looks in the pictures--VERY stylishly decorated, new, clean, and comfortable. There is a good sized living area and kitchen, 2 large bedrooms with queen beds, a very large bathroom, a laundry room, and a very cute outdoor area with a grill and fire pit. Every small detail was thought of to make our stay a perfect one. The loft comes equipped with all linens, dishes, small appliances, and laundry supplies--you will not need to bring anything but your suitcases! Christine was a very kind host who was ready to help with anything we needed. I would highly recommend staying at the loft.

Christine was a great host. A friend and I stayed at 'the flat' for a last minute vacation and everything was just like it looked in the pictures..very clean! The location is very close to shops and restaurants. We will be staying at 'the flat' again if in the area.

Christine's place was great! The place was extremely clean and had a great open living room that was great to relax in. It was just outside of Traverse City but was an easy drive into town. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at the flat! The whole place felt clean, modern, and well furnished. It was super convenient to be located so close to everything Traverse City has to offer. We really appreciated how welcome we felt and how easy it was to communicate with our host. The only minor negative was that it was somewhat loud on the patio due to the flat being right off a busy street, but other than that the flat feels very secluded from the busyness of down town. We highly recommend visiting the flat and hope we will have a chance to visit in the future.

The Flat was the perfect home away from home for my wife and I. Christine thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect! It was so thoughtful of her to leave us a wine bottle and dessert which we enjoyed over the patio fire pit together! We mostly visited the wineries in the Traverse City area so having our vehicle was a must for transportation. We hope to visit TC again and would love to stay at The Flat!

Flora was a great host! You'll have no problems at all with her. The location is perfect. It's about a block from the beach and very close to the main downtown restaurants. It's private and easily accessible. The room does have a sofa bed, so it's not going to be quite as comfortable as a regular mattress, but it was fine for me. The bathroom is on the main floor, room above. The bathroom is small, but adequate. The only real con to the set up is that there is no wifi. Flora is looking into getting that going for the future, though. So check with her on that. Overall, it's not going to be quite as nice as Holiday Inn across the street, but it's clean and perfectly fine. You'll save at least $100 a night. I'll definitely check out Flora's availability when I return to Traverse City.

Our stay was exactly what we were looking for... affordable, convenient, and charming. Flora was very intentional about describing the loft space above her garage that also functions as her studio. She wanted to make sure we weren't expecting a hotel room but it was much more interesting. I can't begin to count the number of hotel rooms I've stayed in but this is the only artist's loft!

Flora was a very gracious host and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She even provided us with water and a bottle of wine. This was a wonderful place to stay for exactly what we needed it for - a quick getaway in celebration of a wedding. Would definitely consider staying here again!

This is a great location. The room is spacious and airy--a charming attic gallery space. Bathroom is downstairs but very well designed. Very private setting behind the main house. If you like to walk as I do you can really get all around town.

The space was perfect for a getaway. Though lacking a kitchen, it was the perfect location for a very quick walk to downtown where there are a ton or eateries and attractions to go to. Also it is just a few blocks from the beach!! Flora was a great host and greeted us with waters and wine! Felt secure in the room and were able to lock it if we felt the need to. If you have ever lived in a bungalow this is the kind of style with the bathroom downstairs from the bedroom. Mind you it is in a garage so you will have to wear shoes to and from the bathroom if you don't want to get your feet dirty. Otherwise it was a great place to stay and would recommend it for the price compared to other places in the area!!

Great place and price. Centralized location in Traverse City. Quick drive to the wineries in mission point or leelanau peninsula. A quick walk away from beaches on the bay. Very cozy and would recommend for any couple visiting the area. We enjoyed our stay greatly.

Dave and Kathy's place was perfect for a couples getaway. Downtown was walking distance from the apartment. Despite being close to the owners - it was very private. They left Traverse city booklets, maps, and coupons for local eateries, breweries, shops etc. They even left a small local treat for us, which that was very delicious (thank you by the way) The place offered exactly what was needed. It has appliances, cooking pots and pans, extra towels - anything you'd need really. It is very cozy with lovely little modern touches! I would definitely recommend this place for couples or a small group looking to stay in the Traverse city area!

Michael's place is perfect! We spent two nights in Traverse City on our road trip through Michigan, and the condo was perfect in every way. The beds were SO comfortable, and the space was just beautiful. Woke up both mornings to see the sunrise over the water outside our window. The condo is close to the downtown breweries. We made a day trip to Mackinac Island, which was about a 1.5-2 hour drive. Really enjoyed our stay in Traverse City!

The condo is located in an excellent location with a great view of the bay. Checking in and out was a breeze. It was perfectly furnished and had everything we could have possibly needed and more - it really felt like a home away from home. I'd be more than happy to stay here again.

The condo was extremely clean with a great view. It is only about 3 blocks from downtown. The host was out of the county, but answered questions immediately and provided another point of contact for anything else we would need. It was an all around great experience.

Curt and Gussie did a fantastic job from the beginning. They were prompt on the introduction and made us feel very comfortable from the beginning. It didn't hurt that their property was GORGEOUS. The drive in was very scenic, driving right along the bay. Their house in slightly elevated and it makes for a great view of the bay any time of the day. The entire second floor was left to my girlfriend and me, which was a tremendous amount of space. There was a fridge was great breakfast foods, freshly picked cherries and a bottle of wine. They left their phone numbers and a guide of what to do in Traverse city. Great experience!

Curt's property was AMAZING. The perfect picture-perfect pictures provided on this listing fall short of the "perfect" that it really is. Curt was a very accommodating host, and a really cool guy. We were given plenty of space, supplies, a fridge of stuff, great insider tips, a VIP reservation at an amazing restaurant, and we felt so very welcome the whole time. Among the items and space that we were provided was a list of information and things to do. There are so many great things to do up there, that I definitely want to go back a bunch of times. It is obvious that Curt knows all the cool stuff to do, but was very laid back. He was into hanging out and having night bonfires on the beach, but also gave us plenty of privacy. I feel like we've made a great new friend, and I am excited to get back there soon.

Curt and Gussie were fantastic. They are extremely friendly and immediately put us at ease and made us feel welcome in their home. The house is beautiful. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves with two bedrooms, bathroom, coffee/fridge area, and living room with fantastic views of the bay. The house is right on Old Mission Peninsula with lots of great restaurants and wineries close by. We also walked down to the water and enjoyed sitting on the beach with our toes in the water. It was a great weekend, and a wonderful place to stay.

This was a perfect location with perfect hosts! Curt and Gussie were welcoming, helpful, gave privacy as needed, and alot of fun. The location and rooms were as described, which was spectacular and perfect for a long weekend. I have stayed at many places in Traverse and this was definitely an all around best choice, which I will do again. The private area of the house was well decorated, clean, large space, stocked with everything needed, and easy to come or go. The proximity to the favorite spots of mission, beaches, wineries and the city make it a good balance for anyone. We did everything in a 3 day weekend and could have stayed for more with our great hosts! It felt like we had our own special house, with a beautiful view, and we enjoyed the entire experience.

Curt was so welcoming and provided us with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We arrived to a fresh bowl of cherries picked from a local farm and a print out of a variety of local attractions and activities. The location is amazing, beautiful views from the house, a private community beach and access to a bunch of local wineries. Quick ride to Traverse City and other close by areas. We will definitely be back!

500 words does not allow me to truly explain how pleasant it was to stay with Curt and Gussie. Extremely nice couple, with plenty of suggestions (if you ask) for the area. Their house is BEAUTIFUL and the scene is phenomenal. You'll have the entire upstairs available, and a view to die for from the common area (with TV and sectional) upstairs. They had a small fridge upstairs, with a couple snacks and a bottle of wine along with a Kuerig and K-cups to help us get moving in the morning. The shower was great, with a huge relaxing shower head. They were able to help me with an iron and ironing board (wanted to look good!). They were very friendly and had no issue with us enjoying our morning coffee out back on the patio, with the beautiful view of Grand Traverse Bay. They even helped us get back to their place from Frankling (DTC) when we had a bad experience with the local can companies. Again, I can't say enough about these two. Book with confidence! We will be back, and look forward to their smiling faces at the end of the long travel up north. Thank you Curt and Gussie!

What a perfect weekend getaway! Curt and Gussie were so gracious and warm. The entire second floor was ours including several bedrooms, our own bathroom, and a lovely den with fresh coffee waiting for us as well as the most amazing view of the lake. They shared with us all the places to visit and we had a perfect "mini-moon" tasting wine and enjoying the fall leaves. We hope to come back in the summer.

Our stay at Mon Cherri was fabulous. Everything was neat and tidy. Check in/out was seamless. The location was so close to all of the wonderful things that Traverse City had to offer. We were able to walk to the start of the marathon at Traverse City High School and not have to worry about parking and traffic. Everything in the condo was so nice from the decor to the big, fluffy towels. Cannot say enough positives about this place and our experience with dealing with the owners.

PERFECT place to stay in Traverse City! Close to everything - you can walk to downtown easily and are also really close to the water and the peninsula. Beautiful condo with plenty of space. It was much larger in person! Super easy check-in/out and very convenient for a group to not have a key (keypad instead.) Comfortable beds, toiletries included, basic kitchen supplies provided, lots of towels and extra pillows, clean. We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back next summer!

We really enjoyed our stay at "Mon Cherri." There was a lot of space! The condo was within walking distance from downtown traverse city and the beach. Bonnie was easy to reach when we needed to contact her and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a lovely week in Traverse City and couldn't have asked for a nicer home to stay in while we were away. Mon Cherri is in a great location just a short walk to the downtown area filled with lots of shopping and restaurants. The condo is situated at the start of a lovely neighborhood that is perfect for those who enjoy walks. I am a runner and found the location very easy to access the TART trail that runs alongside the beach, which was perfect. The condo is well appointed and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and products to use and we didn't have to purchase any of our own supplies. We did bring beach towels and a blanket for the sofa so if you like throws you may want to take one of your own. The condo is filled with a lot of natural light and beautiful hardwood floors and personal touches from the host that make you feel as if you are visiting a friends home. There is also a book with suggestions for local restaurants and things to do that the host has prepared. I communicated directly with the hostess and she went out of her way to communicate with me to address any questions I had before and during my stay. Would welcome a return visit to Mon Cherri.

Our stay here was great! The location was really nice- centrally located to many Traverse City destinations, and it's a great neighborhood. If the weather is nice, it's very much walkable to the shopping areas, restaurants, and the lake. The apartment was easy to find and well furnished. Beds are all very comfy and seem to have new-ish mattresses and bedding. Lots of windows and natural light. The door to the apartment was operated by keycode, so that makes it really convenient if your group splits up for the day. Lots of clean bath towels, however no extra clean kitchen towels nor any paper towels so you might want to bring a roll or two. During our stay the neighborhood was pretty quiet and peaceful at night, though inside the apartment building the walls are really thin so noise travels easily within the apartment... and you can also clearly hear noise from adjoining units (however none of it was too disruptive in our visit, and this type of noise is to be expected in most newer buildings). Overall a great place to stay, and our family really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this location!

We had a wonderful time at the condo. All details were covered, even extra toiletries were available. The rooms were spacious, beds were very comfortable and there were cute detailed instructions on how to use everything. The location was ideal; walkable to shops, restaurants, beach, brewery and bike trail. For bikers and runners this place is especially great. It is a minute away from boardman lake that has a great paved trail along side. Two bike rental shops are less than a block away and on the bike trail. It is also easy access to ride bikes from the condo up mission peninsula. Very comfortable for two couples and small child. We highly recommend this place.

This space is awesome! Very private, walking distance from a bunch of cool stuff, and immaculately kept! Host responded to all communication very quickly, and left a ton of awesome information in the space for local attractions! We will definitely be staying here again!

The TC Condo is an amazing place to stay! First of all- LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. It is very close to great restaurants, breweries, and Boardman Lake (great for running!). It's also a short walk or drive to downtown. The condo is huge and very well kept. The bed is really comfortable too! It has a great kitchen and living room for relaxing and enjoying local wines! Matt was extremely helpful with check in and offering suggestions of many things to do in the area. I can't say enough great things about this listing! You'll love it!

My husband and I have started a tradition a few years ago with another couple to experience the Midwest changing of the leaves during the Columbus Day weekend .This year we chose Traverse City and chose Matt and Karen's place . We were very impressed with their accommodations. The place is as homey as the pictures reveal. It was so great to come back to a cozy home like setting after of day of exploration in Traverse City and the other towns in the area as well. The location is very close and convenient to town. Perfect place to stay for our get away.
