The Grey Goat was built about 1770. In 1900 it was converted into a public house Ye Old Grey Goat Inn which was run by my wife's great uncle. The Inn ceased trading in 2012 and is now our home. The Grey Goat is in the centre of Town. St Helens street is in one of the oldest parts of the market town convenient for the town centre shops, coffee shops, restaurants, public houses and two parks which both offer riverside walks
