Parks & Nature

Emigrant Lake is about a 15-20 minute drive from the property, located just outside the South-end of Ashland. Views of the mountains and rolling hills, along with BBQs, a playground, and even waterslides are offered. There's a $3 admittance fee to the main location though several free entrances are just past the paid entrance with the sign. These free entrances (about 5 along the road) are roads off to the left and are often quieter than the main.

The iconic park in Ashland, located in the heart of downtown, is a must for any Ashland visit. Walk along the creek or drive further up to the reservoir for a pool of cold, clean mountain run-off water. The new Japanese Garden with koi is a must to visit while in the park ~
