AMAZING food. That's it. Make reservations for sure and you must try their Tuna Tartar, probably one of the best I've tried in Barcelona so far. Breakfast is not bad at all as well.

Amazing and surprisingly cheap dumplings. Try the fried duck #1 and prepare yourself to wait in line for a while. Insider tip: go early, put your name on the waiting list, go for a drink and come back for dinner later.

Probably the best coffee in Barcelona, and I'm talking about high quality coffee, not the typical burnt stuff you get in most places here.

Great coffee, the hipster baristas are sometimes a bit on the snobby side but the product is awesome. (Don't go here if you like sugar on your coffee and don't you dare asking for sugar, they will look at you as if you were insulting them)

Essentials
If you're staying for a while and feel like staying home and cooking I would suggest you to go here to do the groceries. You'll get everything from local and friendly shopkeepers. Vegetables and meat are fresh and there is also a small supermarket inside for the more common house stuff. The market used to be a cloister long time ago but it was reformed and transformed into a traditional market
