Food scene

A local favorite! It's a warm setting with great service and a great menu. Sometime greatness comes at a cost though, so you need to get there early or wait for a table. There is room to stand behind the bar and order a drink while you wait.

The best breakfast sandwich in York, in my opinion. They are made on homemade biscuits. The kids will also love the freshly made beignets.

Great spot for traditional New England seafood with other options for those who prefer burgers and dogs. It's kid friendly and has great views from indoors. It also has a solid sit-down breakfast. You can smell the home fries from outside in the Summer.

Sightseeing

I believe this is the most photographed lighthouse in Maine. It is a picturesque light house. It's a reasonable walk or a short ride from Long or Short Sands beach. It sits on a little island or "nub" at the end of Cape Neddick and thats how it gets it's name.

This is an awesome seacoast city about a 15 minute drive from York. There is plenty of public parking and a lot to do. Year-round there is great shopping and eating. In the winter, they usually have an outdoor skating rink.
