The Mayfly is approximately a 15 minute walk (we can show the way off road) or a 2 minute drive from The Dairy @ Copyhold. It really is a spectacular place to dine in the summer months on the banks of the River Test. The food is good, the staff friendly but the views are exceptional and one of the few places you can dine on the banks of the River Test.

No more than 10 minutes it is a very lovely pub in the pretty village of Longstock. There is a beautiful drive along 'The Bunny' where you will see the iconic fishing hut on the River Test.

In the summer, a walk from the Stockbridge Marsh to the White Hart is quite a nice way to finish a walk.

After 16 wonderful years at the Leckford Hutt, Clos du Marquis has relocated to Nomads House on the Stockbridge High Street. Very special dining. A small menu but 5* reviews.

Only 10 minutes by car, Stockbridge is a great place to visit if you don't have time for the bigger sights in the area. It is the centre of the Test Valley and the hub for the Chalk Stream fishing fraternity that the area is so famous for. Boutique and unique shopping and fabulous places to eat, this is a must visit.
