BEACHES

This white sand beach will absolutely take your breath away. Preserved from the commercialism that encroaches on so many other places that look like a natural paradise. Besides the dirt parking lot and a few palapas on the main beach, Balandra Beach is untouched. Get there early to get your spot, and enjoy the beach and the views. I recommend bringing your beach chairs, umbrella and your cooler. They have a few palapas on the beach, and they are usually taken. They have a small truck-store in the parking lot. But filling your cooler is the best way to go. Balandra Beach is located along the Gulf of California, about 30 minutes north of the city of La Paz If you’re planning on going as part of a day trip from Cabo San Lucas, plan on about 2.5 hours each way. The easiest way to get to Balandra Beach on your own is to rent a car. A Taxi or Uber will be very expensive. Due to COVID there may be new restrictions on entry, hours, and capacity. Please inquire before you make the long trip.

Additional Information

Restrictions may apply to some businesses and public areas. Prior to going to somewhere, I recommend you inquire or do some research to find out if there are any new restrictions implemented on capacity limits, and availability. Due to COVID many places have made or keep making changes. Inquiring before is the best way to get the most out of your time.
